The CYOA is set about 50 years after the end of WW2, in an alternate timeline where the Japs didn't attack Pearl Harbor, the Nazis didn't attack Russia during Winter.
You are born to a family of Germans who were born after the end of WW2. Your parents have never known a World where the Nazis weren't superior.
There is a tiny "resistance" of Russia left. Each day they get smaller and smaller.
None of this is outright said in the CYOA
The whole CYOA is told in a very bright, cheery, comfy tone. Possibly centered around going to a boarding school because the Japanese have "colonies" in German-controlled countries . There will be options for a /u/ relationship with a cute, meek darkhaired girl.
Even the option of picking your Slave -
that doesn't explain her personality or even show an image because the Jews are less than dogs and you do not acknowledge them are portrayed in bright colors.
Basically, the whole World is happy. So happy you can't help but go to sleep with a smile on your face imagining this perfect World.

Things I considered by decided not to implement:

Didn't make her a single mom, more challenging work environment should be enough.
Didn't add people working in the restaurant as "standalone" coworkers because it would feel like changing an already working bossfu into something almost entirely new. Unlike Janet, Madeleine didn't need an overhaul.

I realize she's still not going to be very popular after the buffs but decided against making even bigger changes because it would feel more like adding a new character than fixing a flawed one. I hope she'll steal some anons from Erica and Roxanne, but if she won't, I'll just consider her a design failure.
Wanted to describe Vivian as attractive but promiscuous or militantly feminist. Decided not to because didn't want to repeat the mistake of adding a character nobody would like. Marc's different because Marcfags know they'd fuck him but would never admit it, even on anonymous vietnamese throat singing forum.
Vivian is still described as a free spirit but I didn't state that she'll certainly cheat on the player. It's up to him to keep her faithful and I thought it's better to leave it unwritten.

If you understand what the metabolism is you understand why you will be in agony until you die in a few days.
The tl,dr version includes feeling like you're boiling on the inside (because you are, your mitochondria working extra hard e.g. if you're OD'ing on DNP will generate heat), you will need more food than you can eat (that's what skyrocket means), and even if you do eat enough calories, remember that protein synthesis also skyrockets. Chips and soda and whatever else obese people eat does not have much protein. You cannot rebuild enough muscle to offset the breakdown.

I would not wish this on my worst enemy. Death by starvation is horror. You die from suffocation because you break down the muscles in your lungs meaning you can no longer remove phlegm from your lungs.

I'll take Pride and Wrath. Pride's powers are amazing, and I already have a relatively short attention span. There's nobody I really hate, so Wrath's passive power works well for me-it gives me some satisfaction when Pride's drawback causes people to be asses to me, but I'll never mind too much when they get sympathy. Doubt I'll ever kill someone, but it's a pretty powerful tool if needs be. Could also arguably be used for good (eg for corrupt politicians who have good policies but don't live up to them, martyring them will punish them whilst having the public idolise their policies).

Just by making the slightest change earlier in the timeline will impact the movement of quantum particles (as it is truly random and chaotic in nature), making the metaphorical butterflies fly on from that point of divergence. Let's face it, Zoe offers a lousy paying job, friendzoning makes it worse, and a lack of a coworker waifu option or even Zoe setting us up with her friends.

About the only pluses to Zoe are short work hours and a flex schedule, but the low pay makes that pretty unappealing against the other boss options.

The only way to begin to test that hypothesis (or any of mine below) is to post an alternate rebalanced version and put up your poll for that one.

There really are simpler solutions than what you're talking about (e.g. on the job-end put in hints that after years of this and if you put in extra time throughout those years you can potentially network your way into better film jobs, but you'll leave your friendship with her behind entirely. And you'd have to make the upgrade reliant on your pre-existing IRL social skills and not at all guaranteed. Or alternatively on the waifu end, you could make her one of those weird Tumblr "romantic but asexual" types and even then she will only "date" you if you keep the job. Just examples of other potential "fixes" that would keep her niche but potentially less so.)

But I'm the person who, once you explained your intentions, said earlier that you just leave it as is. You made the CYOA, so I don't think you're beholden to anyone else in this thread, and I'd personally rather see you make new cool things, since I like your style.

I'm currently trying to decide what my next big CYOA will be about, one of my ideas is Dungeons and Deviants, a kinda post apocalyptic fantasy setting which is a mix between Attack on Titan and Nights Watch from GoT, but with monster girls and lewdness (pic related). For this purpose I have two sticks - a short stick named Slugger, and a long stick named Hook.

Slugger comes out when I've tossed the latest roadrunner away from my goal and have the ball. It lets me bomb the ball to the other end of the field. Yeah, it isn't the most accurate, but I sure as fuck am not gonna run all the way there in this gear and it puts the ball down there quicker.

Slugger also comes out for the strikers. The guys who ain't interested in scoring goals - the guys who think they're gonna finally win the mantle of beating me down. Or the ones who think they're gonna beat the paste out of my runners and win by putting them in the injury box. They typically find themselves in the injury box, instead.

Hook comes out for those particularly runners who think they can pull a fast one over me crabbing along the walls, or splashing about in the water, or swinging along the ceiling like a goddamn ape. Or ones who think they can get around me just by outpacing me. the Hook effectively extends my reach and enables me to catch a leg here or an arm there and bring them into grabbing range; it's even got a hook on the end for that purpose. And every now and then, I can reach up an intercept a hail mary goal throw with it.

Sure - these pads mean that if I ran around like a regular player, I'd gas out pretty quick. I'm not the most cardiological of guys. But I can usually mitigate that by staying fairly close to the goal for most of the game and only journeying out to midfield or beyond when there's a particularly vicious opposing player who won't leave my strikers alone.

So all you other new guys on this fancy new team - don't you worry. Drake's got your back. They get the ball from you every now and then, or they get through you - that's okay. Mistakes happen. I'll get it back out there to ya.

And if they're they're looking at you and not the ball, and pounding their fists together, you lead 'em back to me and I'll sort 'em out.

Yes, I realize that now. I'm sorry. Like I said, these were all cut down heavily for space when transferring from a document to the actual PNG, and some things translated well and some didn't. For example, she was supposed to be able to modify the tanlines to match any of her magical outfits at will, no matter if she was wearing another magical outfit or mundane store-bought clothes, they'd always be perfect outlines and always an even color, never burnt, etc. Same thing for barefoot, which was supposed to give her a Ryu-like ability to walk anywhere comfortably completely barefoot, though without the callouses to match. Most of the accessories that seem pointless now had something like that attached to them, in additionally to being magically summonable which is explicitly harder to do with mundane clothes. I'll have to think of a better way of communicating this in the space.

It's more obvious from Little Sister since she goes on a rant about it, but the first thing the Big Sister does when she meets you is demean the Little Sister. If their troubles are going to get solved, it's probably something they need to mutually take care of or something that would get solved in a DLC, if such a thing were ever to get made. It comes up a few times in the dialogue. The older sister isn't respected by her family. They look down on her and praise the younger one instead.
I interpreted the introduction of the older sister as a sort of lighthearted jab at the younger sister's dedication to the job while asking you to forgive her attitude.
You're right though, there's a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes for both parties. That's where the all powerful reality warping genie comes into play along with the perk that allows you and her to be on the same page in regards to the intention of the wish.

Used to be a big favorite of mine back in the 90's. Great for vectored images, no idea how good it's paint part has become, was only meh when I last used it. You should be able to export the png then use a program like irfran to convert to jpg with a good amount of control to keep the image looking good and yet compressed in size.

These days I just use photoshop unless I need to do a pdf/book/layout then I use InDesign+photoshop.

The Inlaws are a problem because they're pushy and don't understand how their actions can have more wide-reaching consequences. Using a Bottle at a moment when something was about to go really south would communicate how serious it was, though it's overkill and not a way of solving the problem the "regular" way. What I meant was that that wasn't the only problem. If the Little Sister and the Mother both decided to accept the Big Sister, that wouldn't solve the whole problem, because she herself is carrying her own baggage. And it was a lighthearted jab, for the most part, but she still does things like bring up the Little Sister's hobby and make fun of it, which wasn't necessary. Maybe demean was the wrong word, but she definitely lessens the image of the Little Sister despite that image seeming being important to her.

I might reword the description if it's unclear, but there are two ways of dealing with Interlopers, the hard way and the easy way. The hard way is for you and the genie to use your particular skills to solve the problem they present. For the inlaws, its that their unfamiliarity with how much the general populace know about magic/is allowed to know about magic by Heaven, and them being blabbermouths could reveal the secret. The "hard way" of solving this problem is to spin all those plates at once and keep tabs on all of them, making sure they don't let anything leak. That's relatively easy compared to stopping an angry Xian from taking revenge on your genie, so you get awarded a different number of points for each. But with the bonus bottle, it's point and click, problem is solved (from Heaven's perspective, not yours) so you don't get points / "she can't give you them because of the paper trail." So for the inlaws, without the bonus bottle, you'll have a lot of djinn/close enough to djinn hanging around you, but just your own genie.

Can't decide between Roxanne and Erica. Roxanne offers nurturing dominance and Erica offers aggressive dominance (though free of physical abuse, which is good), and I like both. In both cases, it's relatively easy work and a chance to be taken care of. I wonder if it would be harder to convince Roxanne to occasionally be more aggressive or to convince Erica to occasionally be more nurturing.
