It lacks any of /pol/'s obsession with race, gender or different religions. Religion is a theme due to the potential of technology to remake humanity and the powers it possesses, as well as produce powerful AI, but nothing beyond that.

It lets the player decide from amongst a number of potential means of government, but certainly doesn't back the kind of candidates that /pol/ seems to love.

I'd definitely agree that it builds on a selection of dystopian literature to predict a lot of things we see in the world today or that might come to pass. If /pol/ was genuinely focused on discussing such issues it'd be a fascinating place to visit rather than an alt-right cesspool however.
