Too sexy for this thread Edition
Hurried sub-edition

Despite Curzefag derailing the thread with...things, Magos Cóatl returned and ulfsark pics were posted, and the /HHG/ jetchoppers further refined their work. Emperor Dorn disowned Sigismund, but his EW became Eternal 7E. Not sure what to think, I kind of wanted 8E. Previous bread. ->

I cannot get over how badass the art for those battles are. This bit of art from the Massacre is perhaps my favorite, but that one is also damned cool.

Were the Mechanicum at Istvaan in any notable strength, or were there any other major battles where they had a decisive role? Seems like we haven't really seen the Reductor roll out the storm of death they're known for at any point, just Decima declaring himself Damnatio ad Gladium and dropping a homemade Vortex Bomb on some fools like a Fallout character.

Holy shit, what else are they armed with and how many thousands of points is that?
I would say the Gorgon really should be an Assault Transport, but as it isn't I would say have them walk. At the worst, moving ten SoaDA Vorax up the middle won't exactly avoid fire, and then your mandatory 10-man AP3 Autocannon squad can clean up. If you don't have that, get one with the Gorgon points, they're terrifying. My Castellax cry at their approach, even when they have to find an Enginseer to give them tear ducts first.

That is surprisingly cheap. About the same as my Thallax in PPM, which shows how much FW point costs are off by. Certainly have them walk then, not worth another 300 just for 12" move and a couple heavy weapons. Sure you don't want more Power Axes? You're wounding Marines on a 2+ either way, not beating them in initiative with the Mauls and can afford to take some hits from power fists with T6. Otherwise sounds cool.

Anybody in WA state running any 30k groups? None of the local shops near me are doing anything so i figured I try here. Not looking for anything super competitive really. Been into the lore since 2000 but I've never played a game. Just stuck with the modelling aspect.

I need motivation to finish my XX

Might do 4 axes and 3 mauls. But the mauls let them glance av13 if they have to, so they can deal with walkers

I'll probably have my hq attached to help with leadership. He's got a power axe and a 3+ invuln. He might go in a grenadier blob with a medic though.

I'm taking a baneblade command tank to help with LD too.

>>
>>52842061
Depends on the rules but considering they all use the same units/profiles there wont be a legion above the rest.

If MCs do get the AoS/2nd ed damage chart then legio cybernetica might get gimped a bit.
>>
>>52842061
With the changes to Termie armour being a 3+ on 2d6 probably stuff like IW and DG

That should fix that problem, then. Army sounds cool, pics when done plx.
>>
Here's how it looks right now at 3000

Hq with iton halo, cyber familiar, power axe, abhumans, SoDA, planetary governor

3 medics

10 ogryns, 3 shields, 3 axes, 4 mauls, catspace

2x 20 grens with lasrifles, rotor cannons, advanced weapons

10 grens with lasrifles and advanced weapons, land raider proteus with 3x TL lascannons

5 missile teams

Thunderbolt with hellstrike missiles

3 leman russes

3 rapier laser destroyers

Baneblade with 1 set of sponsons and SH command

Think I'll actually make one boarding shield into a combat shield and put those points into a meltabomb

I might replace the land raider squad with more heavy weapons or maybe a malcador.

Between basically nothing being known about the next edition, and the updated 30k rules probably just being some kind of dugs induced dream at the moment, it is impossible to make any predictions really.
Like we don't even know if any of the unit types has a base advantage over the rest.

>>52842129
>Termie armour being a 3+ on 2d6 probably
Well probably not. Resolving terminator saves on 2D6 is fine for a skirmish game like Shadow Wars, but just a gaint pain in the ass in larger games. Just imagine having to roll 2D6 for 30 suffered wounds one by one.
>>
>>52841632
Please tell me there is actual fem-horus and not just isis

>"Lord?" the Captain asked again, shifting his weight from foot to foot.

>"Had the skeins of fate been different," he murmured, "You would have died on Calth."

I mean, I haven't played 40K in 2 whole editions years so I haven't been paying attention at all to that sort of thing. But I honestly figured 30K was the 'more powerful' one, since it has all the extra special rules and units, and especially when I was comparing the rules for my planned 30K army with their 40K one. Custodes.

Sorry, I know you guys like painted models for games, no control over opponent tho.

>"Fire," Hol Beloth ordered, pointing at Angron as he charged, "Fire at him now!"

>The legion squared their shoulders, bolters snapping up and yammering their fury with a flurry of shots. Hol Beloth watched in disbelief as Angron shrugged off the shots, armor sparking as it took the fire meant to kill a primarch.

>It wouldn't be enough. Lorgar would have needed his entire Legion to down his brother. He watched with hushed breath as Angron plunged into the tactical squad, chainaxes already clogged with meat and blood. The tactical squad lost all cohesion, falling in amongst themselves, unfettered rage snapping them like trees in a storm.

>Hol Beloth shivered as he watched his brothers die, the Red Angel carving his way through the pack of Astartes. None had time to scream, for each sweep of Gorefather and Gorechild were clean kills, brutal enough to silence the Word Bearers without question.

>"The Four give me blessings," Hol Beloth whispered, breaking out into a run,"And deem my soul worthy should I perish."

>The Captain shoved aside the last Astartes, launching himself at Angron, his power fist crackling with restrained energy.

>The primarch turned into the blow, flicking a savaged brother off of his revving axes. The Word Bearer fell to the ground in chunks, hearts still beating feverishly. The power fist connected with his breastplate, annihilating the detail-work with a flash of discharged force. He felt it pulverize the flesh underneath, heard the blood sizzle as it connected with the power field.

>He had done something terrible, and the feeling was worming through his gut. It overpowered his unbreakable loyalty to his Legion, his faith to Aurelian and the Four Above, and his love of battle.

>It was fear, strong enough to make him halt for a split-second, strong enough to delay the hand that held his tainted weapon.

>And that fear killed him.

No, no that's good.

I'm glad actually, if 30K rules are generally weaker then people can't really say shit about me wanting to use the Inferno rules.

Though honestly, I'm focusing on making a nice looking army this time around, instead of trying to rush them to the tabletop so I can play. By the time I'm done building and painting 30 Custodes and 2 dreadnoughts all nice and shiny, it'll probably be 8th edition.
>>
>>52846753
So is that some writefaggotry of your own (or someone else's), or one of the books?

And if so, why is Angron slaughtering Word Bearers (aside from them always deserving anything that happens to them)?

I dont think that's mk 9 when they only gave Deathwatch mk 8.

I reckon It's a mk8 kit, but give them the new long bolters, extra tech bits, and make them a couple millimetres taller than the Deathwatch, who are already taller. that way you can use them as normal marines, or the whole nu-Marines guilliman is making on Mars.

Athena and Kiara? The fuck arte you on a bout?
>>
>>52847517
Two of them received name-changes recently. Faith became Athena (because the Emperor would sooner die than name any grandkid of His after an outdated religious concept, and Athena was the goddess of Wisom, and that fits the Emperor's original plans for Lorgar well) and Kelly became Kiara (because that name was stupid and didn't fit at all into 30k, and Kiara is Italian for Bright, which fits that Nostraman is based on Sicilian Italian, plus the irony of bright being the name for a Night Lord)

Why not Konstance? I mean, VIII is already named Konrad. Don't even bring the whole "bold counsel" etymology. Everything can be either in accordance to meaning or """ironically""" opposite to it. Thus, names return to meaninglessness.
...
Also, I remember Kiara as the daughter of Simba in that movie nobody watched. I remember a McDonalds plushie of her that made funny noises or something.

>The corpse was smashed aside like the fodder it was, Hol Beloth's hexaglyphic wards flaring as they failed under the onslaught of Angron's axes. The Captain died seconds later, trampled under Angron's boots as he tore into the backs of the fleeing tactical squad. Each and every one of them were run down, executed by his axes in an honourless death.

>"Angron."

>Lorgar spoke the word as a whisper, but projected it as a psychic force across the bloodsoaked mesa as his brother cleaved the last, struggling Word Bearer into four neat chunks.

>Perhaps it was the Gods laughing at him, perhaps it was chance, but Angron heard him. The primarch turned, his chest heaving, the wound Hol Beloth had died to deal already clotted.

>"Lorgar," he sneered, "Your Legion is more pathetic than I gave them credit for. It is weak. Rotten to the core. A cancer among the stars."

>Lorgar lifted Illuminarum, activating the power field with the press of a button. He lifted its spiked head towards his towering brother.

>"Cease this madness, Angron, and I will give you all the blood in the galaxy. Together, we-"

>"Enough, witch," Angron growled, thick strands of saliva spilling over his bloodstained chin, "Enough of your whining. You-"

>Lorgar was blasted backwards, oath papers burning away and his armor scorched. His spit blood from his mouth and looked up at Angron, but his brother's attention had already strayed and the Nails were singing once again.

>"Please Angron," he asked, "Don't do this."

>It was too late. Angron was already charging.

>>52847517 Is me. I was here when the whole thing happened. The Meet the Primarchs Lyra writefaggotry on 1d4chan is mine.

The whole thing is of course a joke, and while I understand the reasons the name changes have been suggested. It would be out of place with the stories that have already been written. Unless 1d4chan was changed?

Also, faith is not necessarily religious. One can have faith in a friend. One can have faith in one's self. I would disagree with that name change.

As for the daughter of Cruze I care but little. However, the names were chosen in a fairly ad hoc manner and having a few names that were not out of place with actual current names may have been somewhat intentional.

Just my two cents.

>It would be out of place with the stories that have already been written.
Exactly why I didn't change them myself, and didn't think anyone else would either. It was really more of a rant on how dumb I thought some of the names were.

And while "faith" doesn't necessarily refer to religion, it's the most common definition used and almost certainly the one behind her name. I still think, even if that usage had fallen out of favor by the time the daughters happened, the Emperor would get triggered by it. ESPECIALLY when considering who her father was.

At the time, it looked like the old stigma attached to the PD universe was finally faded enough that a new breed of people were coming in, and it was as good a time as any for a few corrections. What you said resonated enough that after a brief discussion a few of the old hands agreed those changes were worth pursuing. And yes, all the names throughout the stories have been updated to the new names, except for where no permission was given to correct (Read: All the 'big' stories, the 50,000+ word ones).

8th Edition FAQ:
"What happens to my codexes?
The rules in our current range of Warhammer 40,000 codexes aren’t compatible with the new edition of Warhammer 40,000."

"**A few of you might be wondering how the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 affects Forge World’s Horus Heresy rules and army lists. Well, for the moment, it won’t! You can carry on using the existing Warhammer 40,000 ruleset for your Horus Heresy games."

Are they telling us that 40k uses 7th edition core rules and red book rules, while 40k will move to new core rules and new army rules (most likely having changed unit stats)?

At this point, on an order of magnitude.
Almost every elite, MC, warlord and heavy support has built in access to AP2, S6 or better, or straight up D strength gear, on a 2+4++/T6/W5+ or better chasis.
Example? Spear custodes in 30k are Ap2/3, with a psuedo-fearless that doesn't apply to any like themselves.
In 40k, they are straight up fearless, and can grant it to units via USR, and are always AP2.
Only the most WAAC Admech/Custode/select legion army can throw down with even a non balls to the wall 40k tourney list.

>Even as Angron smashed into the Gal Vorbak, crippling three before they could even swing, vengeance was coming from the sky.

>The Ashen Circle had heard the call, and they would not be found wanting. Power axes casting bright streaks across the sky, jump packs coughing dark fumes, the Iconoclast and his men began their burning descent into the fray of battle. One World Eater was burned alive, cooking inside of his armor before the Iconoclast landed on top of him with the crunch of crumpled ceramite.

>Hand flamers came up, pilot lights flickering into existence, before the breath of dragons washed over Kharn and his squad, bathing them in chemical death. The disorganized World Eaters burned, ceramite melting off in slags under the intense heat;a death that was immeasurably painful. Yet this was not the worst to come; that title belonged to the phosphex grenade which exploded across their feet, bathing them in the most purifying weapon a Legion could deploy. Most died screaming; some died reaching for the Ashen Circle with their chainaxes.

>Kharn came barreling out of the fire, pauldrons still alive with the fire of phosphex, his Cutter held by his side. The Iconoclast and his squad raised their flamers again as the World Eaters charged, laying waste to another three before they finally connected with the screaming Eighth Legion. Kharn cut through five in quick succession, brutal, murderous strikes that left no mercy for the Word Bearers. The Iconoclast died choking on the barrel of his hand flamer, his helmet smashed open and his innards cooked to a crisp. Though many World Eaters were dead, there were too many to deal with. One by one, the Ashen Circle succumbed to the rage of the blood-maddened warriors, power axes falling from twitching fingers, prayers whispered with their last breaths.

>Lorgar braced against Angron's charge, Illuminarum coming up to grind against his two, revving chainaxes. Blood, the blood of his Legion, spattered onto his face. He grimaced, pouring his psychic will into holding ground, yet could not prevent his boots from carving furrows into the ground as he slid backwards.

>"This ends. Now."

>Lorgar disengaged, paying the price with a ripping blow that rent his armor open to the air. Blood leaked down his side as he staggered away, Illuminarum coming up to smash into his brother's pauldron, destroying the World Eaters heraldry there. He could hear the rest of his men holding off the impending World Eaters assault; no matter, he was fighting for his life. The rest of the Gal Vorbak rushed in, claws slashing at the primarch while Lorgar brought his mace into position again. With the primarch's retinue slain, Angron was alone, and there was nothing he could do to so many esteemed warriors even as he cut down two more with reaping blows.

>"I gave you your chance, Angron," Lorgar shook his head, "Do not think that I wanted to do this."

>Lorgar parried the blows, taking another wound to his arm. He felt something break. His brother smashed against his guard again and again, sparks flying with every blow; Lorgar decided he was finished with this. Illuminarum rang like a church bell, staving in his brother's chestplate. The second blow obliterated the right side of his face, laying it bare to the bone.

>Angron collapsed in a heap of abused ceramite, axes finally dropping from his bloodstained hands.

>Lorgar looked to the rest of the battlefield, spotting a World Eaters Contemptor and the Vindicator nearby.

>"It is time to finish this."

(Unfortunately the store was closing so we didn't get farther than me destroying the contemptor. Was very fun though)

From the looks of it, those new marines are just regular marines who are all wearing proper MK VIII Errant armour. Meaning no, your marines will not actually be outdated soon.

People are just panicing way too much about all the leaks and announcement. We barely have any real information for crying out loud, yet people are jumping to conclusions. Just wait untill things are released and you have seen everything with your own eyes, rather than start burning all your models in a fit of rage right now.

They might actually not be much larger at all. Just compare the hight of the marines to the paint pot, then compare a normal marine to one of your own paints. They're probably 1-2 mm taller at most, which could easily be explained by the lack of squatting (like Deathwatch marines)

Deathwatch marines and thousand sons are actually marginally taller in terms of limb length, but it's by a barely noticable ammount. They aren't so much in a different scale as they have slightly tweaked proportions to fit in with existing lines but still look a little more proportionate than before.

It's subtle, and I kinda both like the effect and applaud them for making it so slight. These dudes are probably going to be the same when we see them for real.

Having not read many of the story books, are there any where the Mechanicum wins outright or does badass stuff? DarkMech or Loyalists, whatever. I'm just bitter about seeing them get curbstomped all the time after Forge of Mars, Iron Warriors and Master of Mankind, Land's awesomeness aside.
The armies of exceptionally coordinated, extremely expendable and individually powerful troops led by cyborgs with their consciousnesses expanded beyond regular human limits should win SOME victories, right? Or is this just the usual Marine-wank protagonist thing again?

I think the problem that a lot of mechanicum dudes surgically remove their emotional capacity (or something) to make them more efficient in their work, but as a result they end up being pretty boring as characters. You may view the marine protaganists as wanky, but they're a hell of a lot easier to characterise so that's what the BL authors mostly go with.

Eventually they won. Scoria set the robos to overdrive and all the marines were stumbling over themselves to get off the planet.

True, but I always imagined it as a curve. They start off normal, suppress their emotions as they rise through Adept, Auxilia and Magos and then regain them going up through High Magos and Archmagos. You see a lot of AdMech protagonists in the Forge of Mars books showing emotion freely, even when their subordinates don't. Think it's similar to the "getting away with near Tech-Heresy" thing, if they've reached that rank they clearly know what they're doing and damn their methods.

That's right, Mechanicums do have emotions. It's only that most of the time they say them in binary, and after several centuries their sense of humour is only tangentially related to those of regular mortals.
Since BL authors are mostly mortal-like, sometimes they have problems conveying their feelings.
Here both Pavelka and Linya are Magos, and in fact Linya is very pretty, while most of Pavelka's remaining feminity is on her voice, IIRC.

Yeah, Infiltrate isn't really a thing for a melee unit with 15" range guns. Infiltrate 18" away, no Scout to get closer, then walk 6" and fire Volkites. You can only kill up to 3" of enemy models, which is going to be a bare handful of guys at the very best, and then sit there and get your ass shot off by whoever you're fighting's superior range.

Stick 'em in Dreadclaws, you appear turn 1, Jink for 3+ cover on an AV12 vehicle making you pretty insanely tough for 115pts, then disembark, shoot and charge. Regular Drop Pods are okay, they're way cheaper, but I used them once before everyone just bought Augury Scanners on everyone that could take one and killed that idea.

It's pretty awful tbqhfamalanalanallama. Squads with schizophrenic loadouts, (generally decide what you want a squad to do and set them up to do that one thing,) infantry units without either added manoeuvrability (transports) or survivability (special saves and/or apothecaries) who will just get shot in the face as they trundle slowly across the field, not enough anti-tank, (including nowhere near enough anti-AV14,) no anti-air whatsoever, no real way to counter the LOW you'll almost certainly face at 3000 points. Oh, and barely any of your selections get any bonuses from their legion rules. Sorry m8, but if you wanted people to pull punches you shouldn't have asked here.

Maybe condense down to the 2 legions you like most out of those 3? I feel trying to shoehorn one choice from each legion into each section of the force organisation charts (as you seem to be doing) isn't leaving you enough room to hammer things into any sort of shape.

Oh, and if you go over the post limit, that's generally a hint that your formatting is fucking awful and you should sort that out.

You remove the "without annoying other marines" section and have a proper war, not some stupid superhero slap-fight where no-one can take a bruise without the fans complaining about it constantly. Mechanicum have half a win described over about two pages for their entire nation's lore, since we don't get Exemplary Battles like the Legiones do. And because we're rolled into every Black Book piecemeal with the Marines, I doubt we ever will. We don't even get fluff about them because it's apparently too hard to relate to the somewhat dispassionate machine-men with an obscure sense of humour (despite it being a British thing) while the Primarchs, Emperor and every other ageless transhuman is apparently fine.

2998 points. Mutable tactic is Tank Hunters, veterans take Machine Killers. Apothecaries go with the plasmagun squads and one veteran squad. This army can have 14 meltagun shots with BS 5 (cognis signums) Preferred Enemy, Str 9, AP 0 (Dynat) and Tank Hunter, or BS 5 plasmagun squads with Preferred Enemy depending what the situation calls for. And two Leviathans.

It looks good enough, I guess. The only caution I'd have is any regular ol' list running a pair of Vindicators would really hurt your army, but then again if you take them out before they hurt you, it'll be pretty good. Just look out for armies that can tie you down in melee while bringing heavy guns to finish your (very intimidating) leviathans.

A little bit of AC will ruin your life, though. And the usual cautions of bad reserve rolls meaning you steadily drop your boys into a grinder, only to reinforce them with more dead men

>>52859619
Honestly, don't. Sooooo not worth it. But if you do, power axes and thunder hammers could deal with terminators fairly decently, but honestly termies are better and cheaper at it.

Warders fit a bad role where they're too expensive, can't really do much anything, and what they can do is fairly sub-par. Just get two Templar squads and some terminators with PoTL and have fun, desu
>>
>>52860354
Trouble is, I bought them before seeing their rules, just because their models are so cool. Do you think pure melee, or mix in some bolsters and plasma?
>>
>>52860354
Even if it is AV 14 with AC, all meltaguns are Str 9 and explode vehicles on a 4+. And the veterans have tank hunters as well, in addition to have the ability to have BS 5 with preferred enemy, meaning they are effectively BS 10. If all melta weapons drop in turn 1 that's 20 shots. That would be an impressive vehicles that lives through that.

But yeah, worst part is no reserve roll manipulation.

So I have a decently sized 3.5k game pair against my local Night Lords and Raven Guard players; I know the NL player will be running Curze and the RG one will run Corax; both armies will have at least one Leviathan Dread and the NL player loves Terror Squads. No Knights or Titans will be present.

I like them, but some wear and tear plus some highlighting(even drybrush highlighting) would go a very long way for them. Also try doing a lense effect for the helmet lenses; even a dot of white in the top back corners of each lense will look good.

Basically they look really good, but just need a little extra kick to them. Also be sure to base!

>>
>>52859732
If you can find 40 points somewhere, consider giving the veterans banestrike ammo since you're going with machine killers to make up for not getting rending from having marksmen. The ap3 rending isn't as strong as the ap2 rending from marksmen but really allows them to get those extra kills against meqs. About 67% more kills.

Alright lads, finally built and primed my Hetaeron Guard Squad. I'm struggling a little though- what color should I make them? Everyone until now has been traditional gold, but on the flip side that black is tempting af.

Assuming I could do both decently, which should I go with?
>>
>Before, most games were uphill battles, with few hard-earned victories and many, many defeats. As a result my armylists started having as many redundancies and backups as possible, because so often even a full squad of missile launchers would fail to even scratch a Rhino. Every game that didn't end in getting massacred felt like a succes.
But now, games have started to feel almost too easy. Only lost about 3 games in the last 2-3 months, and even massacred the opponent's army a decent number of times.
Srry to ask this late, anon, but what is your list like? I like redundancies, and your list sounds like one that has precisely that element.

The units I use the most, combining them depending on the points amount available :
As HQ usually either :
a delegatus, which allows you to use the Chosen Duty ROW which is like POTL but without the drawbacks but no troop termintors
-Or Dynat, because he's a Praetor and a MoS in one and has a phospex grenade to boot.

Sniper Veterans with 2 meltaguns, 2 powerswords and sergant with powerfist-dagger combo and combi-melta in Rhinos. Sniper means they can threaten any troops, meltaguns can ID snipe characters and threaten vehicles, powerswords so that even after taking heavy casualties they can still win assault against other power armoured unit and sweeping advance them away. Equipment wasn't planned out, just because rule of cool, but everybody is suprised with how effective and flexible they are.
Contemptor-mortis with kheres assault cannons. Enough high Str shots to threaten any unit of infantry, can even wreck AV 14 thanks to rending.
Laser-destroyer array rapiers. These should probably be replaced with quad mortars, but they're dirt cheap, very reliable with twin-linked and ordance and can oneshot thanks to AP 1.
Tactical squads of 10 in Rhinos with meltabomb and powerdagger on the sergant. Just used as bait and meatshields, but the meltabomb means they can't be ignored.
A squad of 10 dudes with plasmaguns in Rhino. My 'counter-assault' unit - tactical squad baits a deathstar charge and gets wiped out, these guys drive up, step out and mow shit down. Enough Str 7 shots to also shoot down most vehicles.
3 Javelins with 2 hunter-killer missiles each. Since the buff these things are just insane, can easily wipe out an entire marine unit or wreck a vehicle with one volley. Just need to place them very carefull so almost nothing can shoot back at them.
10 Seekers. Only work because AL can infiltrate them in a central piece of terrain. New Scorpius rounds made these my semi-backup ranged AP 2 squad.
And a Venator, for obvious reasons.

I've been toying with the idea of painting up some Custodes to be a pearly white (that is, having the opalescent quality to them like you get from mother of pearl). But I have no idea what I would use for a paint to get that effect.

I also did the same thing you did and decided to save my capes for the Hetaeron, and am planning on making them in the Warders of the Vault of Rython colours.

Also a question for my fellow custodes modelers... what colour are you painting the bottom of their boots?

Yeah, doin black sounds cool.

I really like how gold guys look, but the color change will emphasize the model's presence. Breddy gud stuff, can't wait till Terminators come out
>>
>>52861685
Almost all units can handle infantry as well as vehicles. This way no matter which units get wiped out, there is always something that can reply. Almost everything is mobile, or has long range so it is easy to focus everything on a single point. There are no things like terminators because failing most saves makes them pointless, better to spend the points on additional units.

Oh and I forgot to mention my Saboteur, my exploding-spartan guarentee. He is the only guy that never let me down, leaving numerous wrecked and crippled vehicles in his wake.

However, to answer your question I'm just keeping the boots the same color as the rest of the armor.

I can't remember what manufacturer it is, but somebody makes a really cool varnish that leaves a light-struck rainbowy effect that mother of pearl has. If you painted the lads white with some Stormhost/Runefang Steel highlights and the faintest bit of metallic in the armor, it could look pretty kickass. Don't use Corax primer though, it's great for DG and other beaten looking legions, but the metallic regalness of Custodes would not work. Use an army painter spray or something, airbrushing shit could serve you well.

Good luck if you do it, that sounds sick as fuck
