Distant future CYOAs that I haven't even created a folder for yet or planned beyond concept. Gaze, Apocalypse and Audit are my current, active projects. I guess I'll tell you now because these threads will probably forget what I say today by the time I even begin working on them.

I've never understood why anyone would want to live in a perfect world. Humans weren't made to be happy forever, it would ruin us mentally and psychologically.

If anything were on the table. I'd want a cathartic world. Tragedy is good for humans, but only when that tragedy is for the betterment of the soul. I don't think humans have ever truly hated suffering, but they want to suffer justly and nobly. This world lacks the "fairness" that we see in the stories we read growing up. Suffering often just amounts to the randomness of the universe and there's little to no lessons in our pain. The meaningless of the world fills us with despair, but that despair does not lead to enlightenment because the basis of the universe is inhuman and cold, so we fail to derive catharsis from it. The societal delusion is necessary for humanity to continue believing in itself. If humans stray too far from this they'll grow cold and bitter towards each other and the world will be all the worse off for it.

The Queen is sort of a fantasy illuminati sort of entity, controling the entire region from the shadows. Nobody really knows who she is, where she lives, what she's looking to obtain...

Asteroth was born in a town that's name has been lost to the ages, after it was almost entirely wiped out by plague. While he seemed unaffected (speculated to be because of his Vecator blood), the rest of his town perished, with his parents having been dead for years at that point. Seeking to make something of himself, he decided to fight the 'Terrors' that walked the realm of Sadira for a chance a glory. An incredible Mage, he spent four or so years working odd jobs, before feeling confident enough to take on the Soul of Alma. Managing to destroy it completely, he decided the glory of just one was not enough. He took on the Immaculate Herald and won just by the skin of his teeth, yet it still wasn't enough. He wanted two more, Talon and Bone & Skin. Yet when he went to fight Talon, during a critical moment his skin took on a pallid tone and his spellcasting was interrupted by a couch. Pustules rapidly formed on his skin, and he realized his Vecator blood wasn't immune to the plague that ravaged his town, but just slowed it. As all his friends met their ends as he desperately tried to maintain focus and cast, but it was for naught as Talon finished off his faithful Mountain Runner and turned to him as his eyes closed for the last time.

I was using Time of Troubles CYOA, and while I love how much effort went into it, has anyone else who's played it noticed that the Bastard origin completely breaks it?

Even with the higher Revolt to start, with balancing out Laws (which are no longer limited by Glory/Honor/Will costs) and Provinces, you essentially end up with a fucking gigantic army (which would drop Revolt chances into negatives), huge resources in money, and ridiculous ending Glory/Honor/Will (which with certain Laws and Military Units, buff themselves from those Attributes further). That's WITH taking Thrice Ninth Tsardom (which isn't necessary, but costs 2500 Money, which if you didn't want to declare yourself Tsar, nets you even more money to build your Capital/Council while you can still declare war on every other Knyaz anyways).

Hello all, time for another update that less than 10 people will give a shit about.
Due to my NEET life slowly coming to a close, I'm gonna find it harder to work on CYOAs. All progress will slow down considerably. Please understand.
With that in mind, I may as well reveal what I've got on my To-Do list so y'all have something to look forward to over the next few months.
Firstly, the primary project I've been working on since Tank Crew is "Somehow, A Genie Wants to Marry Me?!" (complete with weeby light-novel title abbreviation). In this CYOA, you will be able to design your very own genie waifu. This is the closest to completion, so please be excite.
Secondly, the project I will work on after that will be the Mild Inconvenience Gang CYOA from a few threads ago. Yes, that Anon was me. Did you rike my disguise? Anyways, this CYOA will take departure from my usual waifu-centric style and focus on building a street gang of scary thugs to... well, mildly inconveniece an unsuspecting public. For shits and giggles, mostly.
Lastly, the other two projects on the backburner are a Persona CYOA and a Fire Emblem CYOA. Neither of these have crystallized into anything solid or exciting yet, but we'll see what the following months bring.

Aodh has taken to Traveler life a way many of his (admittedly few) kind has. His first order of business was using his generous starting credits to arrange for a modification into the strange ape-like creatures he learned were called humans. His neck began to stretch out into a torso, complete with arms, while his face flattened into a more humanlike shape which also modified his vocal chords. His second action was to promptly eat a Token of the Dawn, against the warnings of his newest friend Lia Fial. Of course, Aodh planned to use the inner fire he was given to great effect, and after weeks of practice and filing his horns to sharp points, he managed to make his idea come to life. Be using Ethereal manipulation to shift the burning sunlight within himself, he focused it all in his horns, setting them ablaze with both fire and the blinding light of the sun. He built a style based around bashing and stabbing things with his blazing horns, while keeping those to his sides and back away with his lucerne hammer.

He's made a number of colorful friends since arriving on Ae, including the before mentioned Lia Fial, who was one of the few from his homeland. Second was Temujin, who boned over his respected for horse-like creatures. Third he met the feral Enkidu, and they grew to respect each other like a predator and an animal too strong to be prey. Vernon was last, and it was his incessant desire to befriend all animals that drove him to keep pestering Aodh until they became friends. Temujin would later introduce him to the Warriors of the Sky-Father, a Covenant he joined less than two weeks after seeing it, and helped him 'move' into the Altaic Plains of Ae to 'ride' eternal.

He likes to work on Terra-E12, since the demihumans make him feel as if his new form his more natural.
