So who's the bad guys in Noblesse? Are all the factions dickwads?

The Union is terrible and should be eliminated. The Nobles are kinda arrogant, but they're not dicks about it like the Union are. The Werewolves don't really seem to be a problem beyond the Union having taken them over though.

So then kick the Illuminati's teeth in, bully the vampires, and make the werewolves stop being pussies?

>>52768188
That's what I'm planning on doing there!
>>
>>52768135

The Union would be the bad guys, consisting of traitor nobles, illuminati type humans and the current werewolf lord. Many, but not all, of their subordinates are also shit bags. Like, almost the entirety of the werewolf leadership is shit at the moment.

The Nobles and the Noblesse's group are all pretty cool though. The Nobles got fucked by a few old rebellions, but their kingdom/race (aside from the traitor ones) basically carry this ideology of "We're strong, so we have to be responsible." The Noblesse is basically that to the nth degree, slowly killing himself over the course of the series just because he's that much of a bro to humanity.
>>
>>52768212
Okay, got it. Thanks.

What does the Union do that they need that, though?
>>
>>52768239

The union might as well be the illuminati. They're for all intents and purposes the secret rulers of humanity. Current werewolf lord is a conniving shithead who's using it as an alliance of convenience until he's amassed enough war potential to go to war with the Nobles and slaughter both the Nobles and Humans to assert dominance over the world.
>>
>>52768158
>>52768135
The Werewolves are by and large as bad or worse then the union. Their leader and most of the elites are happily using weaker or younger werewolves in live experiments to find ways to increase their own power, passing it off as for the good of the clan. The only exceptions are Kartas and Lunark, neither of whom knew what was going on and maybe that blonde dude wolf, since he just spent all his time in the wilderness. Everyone else? Horrific monsters that get all stuck up their own asses about a fake warrior pride when they slaughter their own kids for fun.

Nobles are fine. They're just barely connected to the outside world at all. All the bad or arrogant ones are part of the Union, traitors. The worst loyal noble would probably be Rael, who's a giant dickhead and pretty awful to humans but he gets a lot better and learns from his mistakes as the series goes by.

Union though, just get rid of them. probably try to do it neatly so you don't collapse society or something since they rule the world from the shadows.

>>52768239
Nothing really. Werewolves got tech from the Union that they then experimented on their own to convert to making werewolves super strong instead of humans. For the most part it's just an alliance of convenience and the werwolf leader, Maduke, is completely fine with doing his own thing or going against Union orders.

>>52768269
I stand by my statement: They weren't really a problem until the Union took them over. It took the Lords' sister getting killed before he tried to attack humans, and he got over it pretty fast once he woke up.

... Unless there's more info I'm missing in the prequel series, which I really need to get around to reading.
>>
>>52768269
So how powerful is the head werewolf? If I get the Noblesse to team up with me, just using the powers given in Jump as a werewolf. Could he be overpowered and set things straight?
>>
>>52768292

The Union never took over the werewolves, and Maduke's daughter wasn't attacked by humans. The current werewolf lord set all that into motion by having his followers attack her with human weapons and pinning the blame.

Eh? Isn't the current lord basically minion'd to the Union, and that's why he's handing people over for powerups/testing? I was under the impression he was. Am I misremembering?

Also, wow, that's just straight up depressing. I really need to read that.
>>
>>52764900
11 has lots, lion, empress is a bit young, ayame, iroha is in both mmos
>>
>>52768292
I'm pretty sure the union played no role at all in that stuff. That was all the werewolf clan coming around to Maduke's line of thinking whilst Muzaka was off exploring the world and never addressing any problems his race had. They only joined the Union after Maduke became king and even then, I can't see the Union having had any effect on them save that they shared the Modiication tech with them, which was useless at first.

And Muzaka got over things pretty fast? Did you miss the fact that he is actively planning to exterminate humanity? That's kind of been a big thing of growing tension. Yeah, he's not gone right into it but the problem hasn't disappeared, he's just decided that finally dealing with his family's fucked up shit is more important then taking revenge right now.

>>52768305
Maduke? Probably. The whole race of werewolfs that'd be fighting with him? Probably not, even with Rai. The fact that the majority of the race is complicit in the scheme, save for the victims, means just beating Maduke won't change things.
>>
>>52768343
What? No. He's like an entire faction within the Union, since at least one of his soldiers is another elder too and he has an entire army of powerful warriors.

And he's never handed people over to the Union. He handed subjects to Ignis Kravei, a noble traitor who came to work for him in exchange for giving him even more powerful warriors so he could kill Muzaka. Him giving her his own people to experiment on is just a sign of how awful he really is, that he'd betray his own race to a vampire for power.
>>
>>52768343

No, not minion'd, he's one of the current members of the leadership and not friendly in the slightest. He's not handing the Union members of his race either, he was getting the experiments done in his own territory and later handing research subjects over to one of the traitor nobles who he reeled into working for him. Werewolf experimentation on their own people inspired by, yet entirely divorced from, Union experimentation on humans.

Huh, that's worded really awkwardly (why do I have 'any' in there?). I guess that's another thing to rephrase, sorry.

It wasn't really intended to give you all of the initiations (which is why it has the 'and perhaps more than one' bit instead of just stating you get everything), just a couple of of them. More like 2, or at most 3.

It's only a 200cp perk after all, and has some talent at the art added to it too.

Also wouldn't really make sense for it to bypass charm prerequisites either, since those are pretty foundational to the whole sorcerous enlightenment thing.

...Wondering if I should add the option to repurchase it for starting with access to higher circles though.

It's alright, i can see how you'd come to that idea. Muzaka is a very friendly and amiable guy to Rai and the others, so it's easy to forget his plans because of his general demeanour while he cleans shit up.

And Ignis, the noble girl, used to be an active part of the Union under her dad Roctis, one of the Elders. Ignis even worked on projects with the 9th Elder, the old dude robot. When Rai offed her Dad and tore out her eyes, she managed to escape and reappeared later in the story, having split from the union and joined up with Maduke's faction to do some more science! stuff.

Pretty sure there's something like that in Exhalted somewhere, but you could do it in any Dungeons and Dragons Jump too. Stack it with a little Elder Scrolls Enchanting and you'll end up wearing a tank's worth of armor while running around shirtless.
>>
Shopping this around one more time for last bits.
Otherwise, I appreciate the feedback!

Yes, I just came across it the other day. Its currently a WIP I think but the Exalted Lunar Jump had an option to get magical moon armor. For more cp you could make them magical tatoos. You could also import armor you already had.

Oh, one other thing, does Lord of D require D. Connection to do anything or can you get a mental connection to dragons with just Lord?

Anyway, my build:

Drop-In [Free]
Location: Necrovalley
>origin perks:
Different Dimension Survivor [Free] Sure.
>destiny:
Majesty with Eyes of Blue [Free] Pretty damn cool
Burst Stream of Destruction [200] Lazors?
White Dragon Ritual [300] HAHA, yesss. Dragon time.
Red-Eyes Burn [Free] Cool. Glowing eyes.
Beast Fang [Free] Pretty nice.
>journey:
Herald of Heaven [200] ...Blue Eyes Heavenly Dragon?
Melody of Awakening D. [100] Nice, I like music.
D. Connection [200] Cool.
>schools:
Flame Manipulator [100] Fire! Good with my glowing eyes of doom.
>items:
Rose Whip [Free] Whip it good, I suppose? Wonder if the Blue Eyes are into that.
Curse of the Masked Beast [Free] Could be fun
>companions:
Blue-Eyes White Dragon [Free, 2tribute] One sister.
Blue-Eyes White Dragon [200, 2tribute] Two sisters
Blue-Eyes White Dragon [200, 2tribute] And three sisters. Gotta have the full set.
Gemini Elf (Elves?) [Free, 0tribute] Thank you for bringing this to my attention, they're nice.
>drawbacks:
Heart of the Cards [+100] ...Amusing.
The Huge Revolution [+400] And a world of Chaos.

It is DRAGON time!

There's a clan to revitalize, and a world to tame. My work cut out for me, I suppose?

...Kinda sad I couldn't go full Lord of D tho.
>>
>>52768709

>>52768709
>Gemini Elf (Elves?) [Free, 0tribute] Thank you for bringing this to my attention, they're nice.
Minor issue, 0-tribute monsters are actually worth 'half' a tribute. You can get two for one, but you can't get them free.

Apologies if that's a bit unclear.

Lord of D works BETTER with D. Connection but it doesn't require it. If you can communicate with them well enough it works well

Otherwise, that's a REALLY sick build.

Have fun with the girls
>>
>>52768592
Yeah, Lunars make tattoo armor as >>52768622 and >>52768670 mention.

Only light armor though, nothing heavier than a breastplate.

>>52768670
>Its currently a WIP I think but the Exalted Lunar Jump had an option to get magical moon armor.
Several options, actually. But you're probably thinking of the breastplate, since that's the one that can become a tattoo.

>For more cp you could make them magical tatoos.
Actually, for the artifacts where that is an option, making them magical tattoos is free?

>You could also import armor you already had.
Sadly, the import option doesn't allow you to turn it into tattoos. Only lets it shapeshift with you.
>>
>>52768799
My bad. I don't have the PDF open in front of me and must be misremembering.
>>
>>52768628
I'm leaning towards spellcaster right now, but a lot of it'll be deciding which schools I like.

Are 100 CP perks for chosen Destines/Journeys/Schools free or discounted?

Slightly disapointed that there's no Toon Destiny or anything to that effect, but I don't care enough to request it and probably wouldn't take it even if it was offered. Ditto for anything related to Orichalcos.

And just a roleplaying questions, but is trying to seek out the pieces of Exodia while you're here, even if you can't take them out of the jump, a good or bad idea?
>>
>>52768628
I feel that people commenting on this jump haven't made enough jokes about D.

Like, you should all be importing your female companions and giving them the D.... perks.

>Apologies if that's a bit unclear.
Ah, right. I apparently missed that... Which is weird, since I actually spend a while trying to figure out if 0 Tribute meant free, and couldn't find anything, so... No idea how that happened.

Hm... I'll have to think on what I'll drop then. On one hand, I'm already getting another group of siblings. On the other, elf twins, and do I really need fluffy wings?

>Lord of D works BETTER with D. Connection but it doesn't require it. If you can communicate with them well enough it works well
Ah, cool. Sounded like the connection was important, reading the perk.

>Otherwise, that's a REALLY sick build.

I was saving them and Ojama for another idea I had.

>Are 100 CP perks for chosen Destines/Journeys/Schools free or discounted?

It's underneath the Location section, right under "Free Choice"

>You get perks underneath your Origin at a discount, and 100’s are free.
This applies to Gear and the Sub-Origin perks
(Destinies/Journeys/Schools) as well.

>>52768918

It's kinda hard to miss in the giant brick of text, I might change the languange for 1-4 monsters to be called "Half" tribute monsters instead of 0
>>

How would one go about getting bullshit anime aesthetics?

Namely, logic-defying shit like Jack-o's hair.

I have not played Guilty Gear myself, but there is no way in hell that there is a canon explanation for the red in her hair to eternally face the same direction.
>>
>>52769712

>>52769698
Just because something was that way from the beginning, doesn't mean it's good. Otherwise every Jump would be exactly like Quicksilver's.
>>
>>52768628
Honestly, I prefer the Exalted jumps to this. And that's saying a lot, because I actively dislike Exalted.
>>
>>52769628
Unfortunately, I've been a little busy defending Gotham from the ten new Villains that my insertion into the world seems to have spawned to get much Magi-Sciencing done. Which turns out to be harder than I expected, even with all my Companions lending a hand.

However, I've been trying to find a way to reproduce Vigors and Plasmids out of my own blood. As I was denied any form of crafting perk from Bioshock and Bioshock: Infinite, which I'm REALLY displeased about, I've been forced to learn genetic engineering on the side. Which, holy shit, is complicated crap.

The main problem is finding an acceptable substitute for Adam. The secondary problem is that the Alt-Form that currently houses all of my Plasmids and Vigors is trying very hard to die from cancer brought on by too much Splicing. And I know, I know you're all saying, "Yoro, you've got all sorts of super science and magic at your finger tips! Why is your alt form dying of cancer? Cure that shit bro!" Well, as it turns out, curing the various cancers would also wipe the Vigors and Plasmids from my system due to both of those being targeted as unnatural alterations to my physiology.

Don't look at me like that. I tried a dozen different ways and it all turns out the same way. My healing magic seems to have a hate-boner for anything Adam related. I'm just glad I tested it out on a blood sample first.

But, at least I have alt-forms that aren't riddled with cancer, even if that means I can't really use my Vigors or Plasmids at the moment. I'll figure it out eventually though.

I guess this seems like a world of swords and sorcery. A world of ADVENTURE and FORBIDDEN LORE, where adventure awaits around every corner.

Too bad the main adventures I'm embarking on, are seeing how far even the rules-light world Yugi lives in is willing to go before actually banning something.

Once, I took a nap and woke up to a morphing jar cowering away from The Doll.

...I feel like there should be some backstory for how I met my party, in this world where rival factions aren't arbitrarily put on the same side depending on the deck of cards they're in. Let's see-the magician girl came looking for a legendary wizard of great renown, and found some paladin training in the arts of the D instead. We set off on a grand adventure to find out what the hell Exodia is, and why everyone wants it. Along the way the Amazon Queen tried to take Exodia for herself, and joined our party after a few recurring bossfights. And the fanclub joined us because they thought we were LOOKING for Exodia, and then tagged along anyway for dark magician autographs.

I'd recommend a humanoid alternate form from TOME since that's basically an MMO where you can design your own character,so there's lots of precedent for that

It's the usual Multi Skill brainwave-network artificial esper plan.

Using various proofs from the setting itself, I invented a means to basically give myself and or anyone else whatever powers I want at whatever potency I want, up to and beyond level 5, and can use them all at the same time.

I can even give them to robots, or create AIM field entities like Aiwass to do whatever I want. It's been talked about a lot if you want to look it up in the archives. These days I don't really use that chain because I became way too powerful way too fast, and didn't really have a narrative to hold it together beyond that point.

Just me, a man with no name. Well, my name is Anon, but you get the point. I'm in the wild west and Kat and Ulmes are opposite of me. Kat was still finishing her sentence from earlier before realizing where she was. She immediately punched me and tried to kill me, Ulmes having to separate us. Words were said. Or yelled, more like. Not worth talking about here.

Both of us settled down only when we were tired out, and that takes a long time for a pair of veteran vigilantes. Soon, we had a little camp setup just outside of town, looking down into the fire. There was venom in Kat's eyes as she looked at me. I could see what she wanted to say. 'It was all your fault.' Ulmes had taken to finding solace at the bottom of a bottle he had brought with him on the way along.

I explained what happened and what I planned to do. It didn't help any. I tried appealing to when we worked together, in her home world and Gotham. It didn't help either. I didn't realize how much Gotham had changed Kat. Seeing death on the streets and the worst rogues allowed to run free as Batman and I refused to be the ones to deal a killing blow to The Joker or worse. And seeing events unfold in Kenshin the way they did validated her perspective…enough so she was willing and happy to kill scores of civilians just to slow Smile down.

She was right. I hadn't thought too hard about the consequences of bringing her along. Or Ulmes. Katrina Wellengood had gone from a spunky sidekick to a hateful, bitter person with blood on her hands. Ulmes merely took his peace in alcohol, not caring for the world around him.
>>
>>52770508
I closed my eyes that night, wondering if I'd find a knife in my throat. Instead, I was all by myself. My companions were gone, without a trace. Even Kat's gear had disappeared from the Warehouse.

I wouldn't learn til the end of the decade that they had specifically asked to go home. And she heard them. I wish I had known, otherwise I wouldn't have spent so much time looking for them.

…I needed some time, after that. Once I got myself together, I took to wandering the West. Righting wrongs. Acting as a traveling arm of justice. Putting bandits in jail, putting down outlaws…I avoided killing whenever I could, but I stopped being afraid of putting a bullet between the eyes of monsters dressed as men. I wonder if that's this world affecting me, too.

I crossed paths with the Man With No Name once, maybe twice. He gave me one good look and nodded, and then walked off without a word. I guess he approved of my fashion choices? I almost wanted to tag along, but I felt better working alone.

I had left Akari back in the World of Kenshin, among the survivors, so she could live a normal life. Kat and Ulmes are gone. A part of me wonders if they'd even remember the chain, after all that happened and was said and done. I couldn't say.

Nothing to do but keep on the road.

>Basically a actual version of that one RPG game against Bakura from the manga, the one where everyone's souls are placed in the mini figures. You have to confront and defeat the Dark Master Zorc and his minions.

>>
>>52770705
Are they not? Thought that was the whole thing with Misaka's shift attempt?
>>
>>52770761
It was never said anywhere in the series though that Level 6 have anything to do with angels. Artificial Angels are mentioned elsewhere in the series, and more than that created successfully, they never explode because there 'isn't an open seat for them'.

In the first place, religions and Christianity are things humanity has imposed onto reality with their collective will, they're totally separate and incompatible with Esper abilities.

>>52770823
In the same ark, the villain straight up says that Misaka wouldn't be able to reach Level 6 because she doesn't and never had the potential. They also say outright that Accelerator does have the potential, so it has nothing to do with there not being an open seat for them or anything like that.

>>
>>52770587
Or at the very least more than 6 options.

Represent is pretty free-form and sounds interesting though. I just wish that, instead of only copying Semblances, it could use Aura to replicate non-semblance abilities. It'd lead to more or less the same thing out of jump, since you'd basically be wanking any new Semblances you copy that result from awakening someone's Aura, but it'd very much work well for a "power of friendship" build.
>>
>>52771095
>Represent is pretty free-form and sounds interesting though
The only problem is, as described, the abilities you can gain are completely worthless. I believe it was something like gaining Pyrrha's Semblance would let you move a coin.
>>
>>52770968
Maybe? At this point, we're getting into fanwank territory, but I'm pretty sure it's phase mechanics bullshit.

>>52771003
I don't remember, but Othinus is from a different Phase(Read, a different layer of reality) than the one the series takes place in, so it's possible she came from a world where humanity had been around longer. Magic Gods are the product of applied Quantum Uncertainty anyway, so there's all kinds of weirdness inherent to them.

It's actually plausible, with a few assumptions.

There's a kind of Roman glass, which, due to silver and gold nanoparticles suspended in the mix, appears green under reflected light - but red when light shines through it.

So, we have an example of a material displaying one of the properties that could potentially explain it.

Raven caught me trying out my new power armor. I decided to dress up a little bit, being in the world of superheroes and villains. I didn't want to do black because I would probably have been slapped with a cease and desist by Batman, so it's mostly whites and yellows. Which is fine. It gives the bad guys a target to shoot for in the night and I'm not much for the subtle approach anyways.

Ended up with the name Upgrade for Batman: The Animated Series. Lapis came up with it and out of all my Companion's suggestions it seemed the coolest. I dunno how much I really like it, but everyone else seems to so I'm going with it.

I've always wanted to be a detective. So I work with law enforcement if there is any. Either employed as a LEO or working closely with them. I love solving cases, especially when there's been a murder. I also love going into cold cases & giving closure when I can.

When I became rich, I started funding whole police departments. With like $100M/month coming in, I can afford it.

How would an Exalted (Infernal or Dragonblood) or a Level 100 Realm of Hero Mage from Overlord Light Novel compare to a planeswalker? I'm doing Zendikar and I kinda need a baseline. I have a few jumps by this point i'm just not versed in MtG lore in the slightest. If possible how would they also compare to an Eldrazi?

>>
>>52772477
All of those groups have so much range to what they can do that question is unanswerable.
If we assume maximum power then exalted is probably the most powerful, but that requires so much effort and grind that it's not going to happen for hundreds of jumps.
It could be a total stomp in either direction for all of them depending on who is better at what they do.

Except for Eldrazi. Don't fight them 1 on 1 unless you've got things specifically built for it. They're BS and they don't die when killed. Think Orz but worse.
>>

It doesn't. People set up the time machine for a reason.

I was aware of that, but not what they were like after the mending. You now as they are now and not as things that I will never encounter. The only one I refuse to mess with would be Nicol Bolas.
>>

>>
>>52772477

>Level 100

Curbstomp. Even Sorin and Nahiri wouldn't be much more than a speedbump - a proper Lithomancy trap could be a serious threat though.

The scale of MtG magic has a higher cap, but none of that can be used fast enough to stop them being speedblitzed.

>Dragonblood

Kinda even - superior physical abilities (Gideon's defence spell is probably a little better), and Terrestrial Sorcery isn't too shabby. Biggest problem is endurance, and ultimately, any half-decent planeswalker can pull out things that would be very hard for you to survive.

>Infernal

You're greatly superior, but, again, mote pools can drain quickly. Best bet is avoiding any kind of endurance match and going straight for something like Heuristic Logos Shintai, that skips the battle and goes straight to "inflicting the aftermath".
>>
>>52772566
If you use time distortion to do it you still had to grind for thousands of years.
I use jumps in this case as ten year increments.

>>
>>52772167

>>
>>52772574
It's not that hard nowadays to surpass Nicol Bolas level as long as you have abilities that steadily grow with time, because time is the one thing that a jumper will always have more of than anyone. That's even if you're not using the set up that expands a decade into several hundred thousand years.
>>
>>52771177
I wonder if he knows what his clothes say.

Oh, and the Overlord Mage and Dragonblood would be fucked by the Eldrazi - the former can take out basically all of them, the latter would die, but neither could effectively kill the true form of the enemy.

The Infernal *could* theoretically destroy the Eldrazi - there's a high-essence Solar charm that was used against the Primordials that would work perfectly here, by making attacks against "networked beings" hit every part of it.

But actually learning that charm as an Infernal is... probably a bit tricky.

>>
>>52772566
>>52772603
Speaking of the super hyperbolic time chamber thing people were building a while back. Thanks to zendikar there is a massive extension for the project.

In Anima there is a spell that can slow down time in an area up to 1/1000000 the normal rate. Normally that's a bad thing since it's the opposite of a HTC, but thanks to the perk in Zendikar that can reverse the effects of a spell it can allow for supreme temporal acceleration within a 1km^2 area. You'll probably want Infinity since it does drain zeon like a motherfucker while it's up normally, but even if you don't have that you can just put it up again whenever you want to use it.
>>
>>52772669
Bancho, it's not just the Spark that most jumpers will have. They'll also have hundreds of jumps behind them, the endjump reward, as well as several post-spark upgrades, one of which makes you nearly omnipotent and another which grants you full control over time. This isn't even mentioning all the wishes which one gains access to. After all that, even the likes of Nicol Bolas are small fries.
>>

True, but like Gideon, they'd run out of steam and get overwhelmed in any pitched battle. Running around with an empowered anima would be great though.

Best place for them is probably leadership - using War charm training effects to rapidly improve allied forces.

As In The Beginning or the advanced Dragon Vortex tricks where you can shape and move it (and turn it into a temporary perfect defence) would help though, it'd help quite a lot.

There's no place like London. Something something great black pit something something pig spitting. I don't know, I fell asleep in the first few minutes of that movie. I was a little excited about where I ended up and the possibility of meeting Sherlock…then I quickly remembered Holmes was a jackass and Victorian London smelled like a beached whale drenched in sewage, stuffed with dead livestock. In that order.

I was definitely out of place, being a cowboy in the middle of Victorian London, and my lack of accent makes me stick out like a sore thumb. Still, after cleaning myself up and getting contact with Voyager again, it let me rub shoulders with the other business owners. Then I'd don the cowl and get back to my work.

I was never far from trouble, nor trouble far from me. I became increasingly at home in that manor of mine, as much as I was on London's rooftops. I cross paths with Holmes a few times, in and out of costume. We have a working relationship, though we can't stand each other for long. Apparently, the feeling of dislike wasn't quite mutual…Watson told me that Holmes enjoyed our 'debates' and occasional Chess games, though I mostly used it as a distraction.

He was also always just one step away from my identity. I've learned from my past mistakes, but having a man as smart as Sherlock on your trail is a good way to make you anxious. I'm happy that Moriarty and others keep him busy.

Last build before I head out for a bit.

TL note: Keikaku means plan
>>
>>52773404
I think its still magical souls, just that Terrestial Exalted can breed new Exalted souls. Instead of having a finite number of super soul bits, they create new ones which may or may not be result of breeding. You can be a piss poor farmer and still Terrestial Exalt.

However I'm sure Next Generation could work.

>>
>>52773491

The former - they were intended and encouraged to breed like crazy to produce wave after wave of supersoldiers to throw at the Primordials.

Originally they kept the bloodline pure, but that restriction stopped being enforced over time and they sowed their seed wide and far. Inhuman charisma, seduction charms, and being the unquestioned-ish masters of the world help as well.

So now pretty much anyone has the potential to be a Terrestrial - but also Dynasts have the potential to *not* exalt, and thus be a politely sidelined shame on their family.
>>
>>52773491
Terrestrials get around, many have spread the dragon's blood far and wide. Anyone with even a trace of it can exalt, which is nearly everyone at this point.

>It's only a 200cp perk after all, and has some talent at the art added to it too.
But it only gives the 1st level, and the more initiations you have the less each additional one gets you, because they are all just palatte swapped versions of each other.

I would think it is good for a 200 CP perk. It lets you bypass the Excellency (with automatic repurchase requirement) if you want to focus on sorcery. And you still have to buy the 2nd & 3rd levels individually for each yozi.

Stay away from 5v5s/Ancient battles in general. The real Defense/War of the Ancients is still only being alluded to, but there's good odds something will happen during your stay.

Don't summon cosmic beings. Don't confront cosmic beings. Don't trick cosmic beings. If one of them, like Outworld Devourer, Faceless Void, or the Fundamentals, takes issue with you, run the fuck away to your Ancient.

Most of the characters won't be a threat to you, but powerlevels inflate like a Dobson drawing once you get into the high tiers.

It's vaguely plausible to wake up Autochthon and befriend him such that he teaches you the secret.

But it's a big secret.

That's the idea, yes. Still deliberating on how to price it, but I don't see much reason not to do so. Infernals have pretty strong ties to Sorcery, what with Sorcerous Charms and using Yozi-style sorcery instead of the occult study and learning of the other Exalts.

No idea.

Well, supplying Autochthon with enough souls/essence would at least force it into remission, and back to just making him a "sickly nerd" instead of "aaaaaaalmost a new Neverborn".

There are protocols that can beat back the Void-taint over a local area - so supercharging those would be a start, and just straight-up murderating all the tainted Alchemicals (and that giga-worm-mecha) would help a lot.

Getting his subsouls to work together would be hard, but also be a huge step forwards.

Improving the lot of the Autochthonians, such that they can focus on supplying prayer and making new Alchemicals, would be good as well.

Not to echo the shitposter, but the scalong limit to Magnum Shield really does feel arbitrary and unneeded. Like, there's nothing to suggest it stops scaling anywhere in the source material, and you don't have odd limits that prevent you from channelling certain levels of spell for the mage items. It doesn't really provide benefit you don't already have, as you all it does it bring itself to your level. It doesn't even confer any boons upon the wielder, it just means you always have access to a weapon that is barely not-shit... Except it doesn't, because for some reason you decided to tack on an arbitrary non-canon clause.

All magical defenses shown in setting except the charm that happens when a witch or wizard sacrifices themselves.

And if you've got a horcrux.

And if you're a horcrux under certain conditions.

It's not totally infallible but it is pretty good. You've got to bear in mind that AK is just a flash of light in the books as well rather than a beam that can be deflected by other beams.

Wait wait wait. Do we have an example of this happening in the series? I don't remember seeing anything like summoning spirits to buff someone.
>>
>>52775198
Because the spell interacts with the life-size of the sacrifice rather than the target.

Because only part of the being is there.

Actually, we have evidence to suggest FTL spells.
>>
>>52775214
It's called aim-dodging, you cuck. And don't act like there's not plenty of telegraphing which would allow someone to prepare.
>>
>>52775290
Anything to call it light speed huh?
>>
>>52775321
Because there's nothing to suggest otherwise. No one dodges the spell, they dodge the wizard.
>>
>>52775290
If it's supposed to be lightspeed then why does it fail that badly in the books? You'd think most people would be long dead from the flashes of light by now
>>
>>52775359
Because even totally untrainted teenagers can aimdodge light speed attacks here. And all the wizards with decades of combat experience can't figure out anyway to get past that, despite their attacks almost never working. Why, one almost might think it's not actually light speed, given how much more sense it makes.
>>
>>52775357
>No one dodges the spell, they dodge the wizard.
This doesn't make any sense. A flash of light isn't something that only has a linear vector. If it was a flash of light there wouldn't be any way to avoid it unless you had something to block the photons. But you wouldn't be able to aim dodge either because at the speed that light travels at, you'd already be dead by the time you saw it.
>>
>>52775173
What the hell do you even think the word conceptual means? None of those powers are necessarily conceptual.
>>
>>52775359
Because people respond to the wizard and their hugely telegraphed attacks? You might as well claim that people can dodge bullets because not every shot is a direct hit.
>>
>>52775400

>>52775402
There's nothing to suggest "hugely telegraphing" in the books, they lift a wand and say the words. There isn't a 2 minute chant or something where they strip nude and go into an orgy while praying for Slaneesh to cast a beam of death.
>>
>>52775402
>hugely telegraphed
>Point and kill and you can change the direction instantly
These aren't fucking guns you nitwit. You can't have it both ways. A wizard can just keep their wand aimed at a guy as they say the words and once it's active, if it's as fast as you say, they're dead even if they know they're being fired at.

Or do all wizards have jittery hands or something?

I'm assuming there's going to be an item allowance like with Infernals given the prices on everying.

>Barbarian Teacher

Yay! But it kinda needs to be cleaned up or re-written. The description is kinda janky to read.

Almost always very small gestures, particularly for combat stuff, and you can learn to do it nonverbally. Most of the examples in the series we have are non verbal even.
>>
>>52775454
Yes? There is. That's all telegraphing if you're not retarded. It'd be like if someone shouted "pew-pew bang" and changed their grip to gangsta-style every time before they fired off a shot. If you also have a gun, there's plenty of time to do something of your own.
>>
>>52775219
Don't shoot the messenger~ Everyone yelled at my the last time I brought up problems with it. The answer is, "no". I believe the only examples we have of spiritualist magic in the series is divination and counter divination. The jump maker took inspiration from 3.5 D&D (I think) since since Overlord is heavily based off it but there are things in the jump which are just completely wrong.
>>
>>52775527
>plenty of time
Man, you're not even sticking to the movies now, much less the books.
>>
>>52775519
>and you can learn to do it nonverbally. Most of the examples in the series we have are non verbal even.
Not him, but not of AK. Even big-V himself always uses the incantation.
>>
>>52775531
I'm not trying to shit on you man, I'm just asking where the example was since I never remembered anyone in the series using it. You don't need to be a dick about it.

Thank you for letting me know anyway, I'll have to think on whether I want to use it or not.
>>
>>52775571
Firstly, no he doesn't. Secondly, why does it matter if he does? Unless he has some sort of shaking condition, you're not going to dodge a effective hitscan weapon like these are supposedly being painted as from someone with years of experience pointing it at people.
>>
>>52775571
Let's put it this way. If we compare the effective range of a 9mm beretta and say that the's effective range of an AK, how many bullets can you dodge in the time that it takes for a person to raise their gun and fire at you, taking into consideration that these bullets are now accelerated to light speed instead of just the speed of sound.

156. Viking Saga
Age: 21, Origin: Skald, Theme: Magic

Perks: Freedom To Speak, Swing of the Hips, Enchanting Voice, Words Hold Power
Items: Field Hands, Homestead, Domain, Musical Instrument
Drawbacks: Supernatural Weakness (Crave running water uncontrollably), Yo *Word For Posterior* So Fine

They think I'm a river spirit and that's adorable. My lands are just a little island surrounded by a river, and I float around it all day playing my songs and having a minor war with the Jotnar where they repeatedly hold my land hostage in order to sexually violate me. I gather groups of heroes to take it back and write songs of their bravery and wisdom to help my field hands accept that we'll be working for them for a little while in return. It's a fun cycle, and I guess my field hands have some good breeding stock in the heroes that have probably knocked up their daughters.

Being a feudal land owner is not good times, but it's not bad times. I learned to whittle.

Outside of the Darkhallow or the Devil Tiger Charms, what are some other ascension ritual type things where someone can become a god or get a power-up or something? I like the flavor of that type of thing.

>>
So I finished Undertale and I just have to ask how am I supposed to survive the final boss with all the things they did.
>>
>>52775754
You can always have up to 8 companions active unless a jump says otherwise.
>>
>>52775754
yes, but only up to eight
>>
Complains have been taken into account, and new things added.

>0 tributes are now 1/2 tribute monsters, to clarify how they work

>Magnum Shield was a filler item that I was on the fence on, but I felt it would've been fine as an item. Between complains and getting a more thematic idea for the capstone item, it has been replaced.

>Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon and Red-Eyes Flare Dragon have been added as unique companions

>Minor issues with Assailant have been resolved
>>
>>52775769
You aren't supposed to do that, Frisk is.
I mean unless you're trying to alter history to the point where you replace Frisk things will work themselves out on their own.
>>
>>52775788
The shield was fine, just remove the fucking nerf.
>>
>>52775754
Bringing in companions is different from importing companions.

Companions can enter setting as effectively drop-ins, with no freebies or CP, any setting that doesn't explicitly disallow it, with the standard limitation of only 8 of them being active at one time. Importing companions depends on the rules for that particular jump.
>>
>>52775734
Not him and not dodging but Dumbledore blocks it by moving statues in front of Harry. During the department of mysteries fight. So it can't be that fast.

>>
>>52775769
Frisk is around, they'll handle it. Otherwise, git gud or use out of context powers.

If you're a monster, Asriel uses a light to absorb the monsters in the underground. It can be blocked by closing your curtains. Napsterblook did that.
>>
>>52775793
But everything is destroyed when the final boss appears only that 1 ghost isn't.
>>
>>52775767
Well aimdodger anon is convinced that he's right and the movies and the books confirm it, so if we assume that given most wizards never get extreme physical training or anything, most jumpers should be able to roflstomp all wizards just by aimdodging their spells. It'll be like watching Devil May Cry.
>>
>>52775810
We have many kamen rider and superhero jumps already. Unless you're making an actual series into a jump, there's no need for another generic about them.

And if you are making a specific series, don't. You're fucking shit at it.

>>
>>52775802
But then that raises problems from the other side. Why is it notable that Harry was the only known person to survive it if it was casually able to be dodged by even novice wizards? I mean, if it was so easy to defend against, you'd expect at least Aurora to survive it nearly every time... Fucking JK, man.
>>
>>52775849

>>
>>52775855
Well, there's the fact that you'll have Flowey's attention from the start and might die fighting any of the monsters. Frisk doesn't get there until year 5, but you can just hang out with Toriel until then.

It's not dangerless, but a small child who was good at dodging attacks survived pretty easily.
>>
>>52775802
In fairness if anyone is going to anticipate something Voldemort is about to do it's Dumbledore.
>>
>>52775818
No they aren't destroyed they're just absorbed by it.
You'll just be absorbed into Asriel.
>>
>>52775860
Because he'sthe only one to survive being hit with it. Holy shit how is that hard to figure out? People can dodge or block it fine, but everyone knows actually getting hit spells instant death. So when a baby survived getting actually hit with it, people have their minds blown.

>>52775855
Well, no worries apart from the usual worries a human would have down there. Monsters wanting to use your soul to escape the Underground, and all that.

Presumably you need your core muscles to hold onto a thin stick going very fast through the air while throwing, catching, and whacking balls.

>>
how much would it cost to get both the red eyes flare dragon and one of the blue eyes white dragon sisters ?
>>
>>52775933
There's a lot of changes in velocity at high speeds, so even staying on can be pretty intense. I mean, we have things like polo and equestrianism which are pretty similar, and they're by no means "easy" sports.
>>
>>52775894
The reaction speed of wizards is about 10 times quicker than that of humans because they undergo extensive training like quidditch seekers target locking on a sphere that flies at about 200 km/hr which develops their spatial awareness skills and a passive resistance to friction and turbulence. Most wizards can dodge spells with ease but it's wizarding law that you have to let the spells hit you or otherwise everybody would be dancing around and doing air tricks.

Basically every wizard would become Dante in DmC which would make Voldemort really unhappy because he can't be nearly as pretty, so the Wizarding community keeps up a facade to let him feel like he can kill people. Harry's son will become the chosen one to take up Sparda next.
>>
>>52775869

Basically any of the variants like Archfiend dragon or Metal dragon can happen with Transmigration
Its kind of their theming that while Blue Eyes stay pure, Red eyes will eat, absorb, nd mate with anything to get an edge in sirvival
>>
>>52776009
But you're not taking account the Japanese Wizards which train in the style of Six Paths magic and have mastered the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan which keeps the illusion of peace between muggles and wizards in Japan. If you take them into account most wizards could just use the become a log and dodge AKs instantly, or activate the True Izanagi before the opponent can cast the AK

Final Fantasy XII because dirge makes the best jumps.

WH40k Eldar because I don't give a shit about 40k and elves are kind of cool.

KOTOR because I like the time period.

DCAU for nostalgia.

Infernals because they're the most interesting.

>So I read through Lunars, and noticed a couple of things that might need fixing.
Alright. Thanks for looking it over.

>I'm assuming there's going to be an item allowance like with Infernals given the prices on everying.
I wasn't /really/ planning on it... I was thinking about including it at one point (since I did with Infernals), but Lunar don't really have much of an Artifacts/Manses focus, while Infernals are at least noted in fluff to have a lot of access to demonic artifacts.

Arguments were made about whether that was a good idea (and whether I should change the pricing), and eventually I settled on the current (original) pricing without item allowance.

...On the other hand, I suppose there's quite a few items to go around, with your discounted items and the associated manse still being 950cp after discounts. And it does allow you to be an Elder, who /are/ noted to hoard moonsilver artifacts...

Hmmm...

>Barbarian Teacher
Ah yes, thanks.

>Mirror-Moon Billabong
>But it kinda needs to be cleaned up or re-written. The description is kinda janky to read.
Yeah... I'll try and clean that up a bit. Mostly comes from trying to mix two ideas together, I think.

Doesn't help that I still rewrote it some three times, even after settling on using the Billbong/Cairn ideas. Not sure what's up with this jump's manses, but they're giving me a hell of a lot more trouble than those in Infernals.

Thanks for the ideas, by the way?
>>
>>52776167
Yeah I'm not really interested in any of those. Star Wars is just a bland Warhammer 40k for me

The scale on which Eldrazi exist make me think the Infernal solution would probably be a combination of something like World Chain Geas or Ephemeral Abrasion Curse to force the things into full physicality, then an attack like Demon Wracking Shout or Space Monster Scream after upgraded by shintais and successor Charms and whatnot-wide area-of-effect cosmic power whammy to hit the things with an attack of comparable scale that Shapes them into something painful right at the killing blow.

Actually, I remember something interesting about M:tG magic: Isn't there a spell called Jam or somesuch that operates by negating mystical influence? Because short of PDs it sounded to me it might be something of a hard counter to conventional Charm use when by design, all Charms needs to move Essence in a certain way before producing an effect.

>>52773164
Uh...technically speaking? Assuming they get that one Charm that lets them buy Charms with one dot higher Essence requirements, I guess that would be World Scarring Solar Glory, which adds damage as a flat effect and if-

-oh godammit how do I translate this mechanic. "Should the dice of damage be rolled after soak in Step Eight exceed the ttarget's maximum total health levels, the Solar may instead inflict as many or as few automatic levels of damage as desired"

Erm.

1. Doesn't matter, I don't know or play the series so I have no special attachment to any of them.

2. Tough, but I'd eventually have to go with FF6, because it has the characters I really want to meet and a bad guy who's just ripe for stomping early.

3. I'd want to do Burning Crusade, if only to indulge my baser instincts for a while. Though, if I'm honest, I'd end up taking Light of Terra every time.

4. Auralnauts Star Wars. Because I can't take that entire universe serious anymore after watching that series of videos. Thank you AncillaAnon for introducing me to it. I haven't laughed so hard at something on the internet since Hellsing Abridged.

5. Teen Titans wins every single time.

6. Given that I know absolutely NOTHING about Exalted, it's a toss up between Lunars and Sidereals. Both sound like different kinds of fun while not taking /anything/ too seriously.
>>
>>52776225
Being Sidereal is basically just being an Illuminati Exalted; you rule the world.. and no one knows about it.
While being a Lunar is literally Changeling the Lost, except you have a decent chance of actually making a True Fae your bitch by only using in-setting perks.
>>
>>52775860
That's actually something I always wondered: How does anyone know Harry survived a Killing Curse? Hell, how does anyone know the encounter killed Voldemort? He was the only person there who is both still around and remembers the incident. And we know forensics is shit in Wizarding Britain, or else Sirius wouldn't have gotten convicted. So what the fuck evidence does anyone have to go on? Even Dumbledore shouldn't know what happened.

Journal Entry # 52 - 1

Wow so in case there was anyone who didn’t know this already Rick is an Ass hole! He is a selfish misogynistic Asshole… ughh and just when I think its alright the hate him he does something awesome and saves the day pretending he was planning that all along. Don’t give me that I use that myself all the time. “I planned it that way.” I call bullshit.

Well anyways that bit of a tantrum out of the way, despite him being infuriating he can be kind of cool too. It’s interesting though apparently not only am I one of the few female Mortys but one of few Genius Mortys too.

Journal Entry # 52-6

Ok, I admit he is kind of cool, I even had fun when were weren’t almost being killed because of something he did. Also blips and chitz is awesome. Also I admit I am glad he is cool with my girlfriends/wives.

(to be continued)

Journal Entry # 52 - 8

So I saved the world today by singing well for a bunch of giant floating heads. It would have been kind of fun if it hadn’t been so much on the line, we got our little band together and played. I also am one of the biggest music stars in the world because most of the other ones are dead.

Journal Entry # 52 - 10

So he doesn’t know I heard him but I heard Rick bragging to one of the other ricks about me. Apparently he is really actually quite proud of me. I don’t know why he doesn’t feel like mentioning that is important. Still for all his many flaws I guess I am kind of proud of him too… well sometimes. I am probably the smartest being in this universe but he still manages to pull off things that I didn’t see coming.

Journal Entry # 52 - 25

So I was offered something by Jump-chan and It’s probably a bad idea, I know my companions are going to hate it but I can take Rick with us when we leave. If he agrees I mean. I know some of my companions are going to hate it but I think he could be useful and … I really don’t want to leave him alone. Through my journeys I know how easy it is to die in one of these adventures and I don’t think he would do so well without someone to watch his back.

Well, Sidereals are the Exalted that are literally empowered by the four maidens.. and they are like the third strongest deities. Sidereals also have the full resources of heaven.. as long as they're willing to file the proper paperwork and wait two to five business cycles. The perks are also kick ass too, my favorites are the Endings capstone which gives you the ability to kill anything; my favorite item is the Answer, which is literally an answer once a year to any question and it's literally scott-free. Oh, and there is that charm that lets them take the position of any thing they beat in combat as long as they have permission from a superior, or an equal if there is no superior.
Literally you can become God in Supernatural by asking Amara if you can kill Him and replace him.

Lunars are kickass too, I believe they are just under Solars in overall power but they aren't pushovers in a 1v1. Sadly, they are literally Furry: The Yiffing. I still prefer Sidereals over them, Solars are too mary sue for my tastes.. Infernals are too much edge and that jump has too many nice things that I can't say no to having them all..

I'm a bit psyched about it too.

I've been repeatedly reassured it's a Sidereal and that most of them dress like that for missions.

Nah. He means that if your attack would've killed them if they were at full health (doesn't matter if they actually are or already got wounded), then you can do as much or as little damage as you please.

...Though, you can sort of weaponize CUH-RAY-ZEYness with Stunts?

1) Dark Souls 3. There's something heartwarming about being there to mourn the end of a world.

2. Dissidia, because the gang's all there

3. Eldar, because they've got the best standard of living so far

4. Original trilogy, I guess? It's the era(s) I'm most familiar with

5. Mystic, for the same reasons

6. Infernals, to justify changing my name to a power chord

>>52776449
Basically, Exalts have a baseline power called a First Excellency that spends magical energy to grant you DMC-style CUHRAHZEEness at a given set of fields.

>I'd probably go with Sidereals then. If only because I hate deal with the True Fae and their word twisting.
In Exalted, the Fae are still as fae as ever from a mortals point of view, but don't really have the mystical mojo to enforce their ways on exalted. So what is more likely to happens is a fae does fae trope things to a Lunar, and then promptly gets eaten and digested, his fae magic not helping him screw over the lunar at all. And the lunar can now forge the Fae into a Grace, and use fae magic as well as the fae do.

Because they both have Wild influenced themes, but the Lunar also has 'kill you and wear you an a outfit' as a core feature.

>1) Demon/Dark Souls

Dark Souls - Priscilla has an enigmatic loneliness that makes me just want to stay and chat for a while.

>2) Final Fantasy

FFX - Not a big fan of Tidus (though he's still superior to Vaan), but I dig the aesthetics of the world.

>2) Warhammer/40K

Early-chain, the Imperium one for Viator of Nullspace to dull the warp and then be lost in the mass of humanity. Late-chain, Light of Terra for the creativity and challenge.

>4) Star Wars

The Original Trilogy, I know the timeframe - and the superweapon-related technology loot is great. Plus... I mean, who wouldn't want to actually meet Luke, Han and Leia?

>5) DC

Dark - the house has outright spectacular teleportation capabilities, and the magic is neat-to-ridiculous.

>6) Exalted

If I could only take one... probably Infernal. SWLiHN has some amazingly flavourful Charms, and all of the Yozi have something unique and interesting to offer.

Plus, it puts you in the best place to prevent Return of the Scarlet Empress, if that's going to go down.

They're all neat though. Tough choice.
>>
Hey guys, new to the JumpChain stuff, had a couple of questions if anyone feels like answering.

Are there any accepted conventions for revisiting a world? It sounds like it's technically possible, but isn't really touched on. Would it start the ten years over, or pick up where it last left off? And while it just seems sensible that you wouldn't get another round of points to spend, I guess that's worth asking too.
>>
>>52776702
Purchased Return option in the warehouse, or Slice of Life and Overlord have a thing where you can visit their stuff for a certain amount of time for every jump you visit.

Pick up where it last left off.

No points.
>>
>>52776665
That would be amazing!

>>52776702
This anon >>52776721 has it right.
>>
>>52776721

>>
>>52776515
She's basically a vapid useless slut who is mainly a hero to show off her body and soak up the attention her giant assets get her, and frequently fails at her job do to showing off for the cameras.
>>
So what are some characters that would want out or don't belong in their world and would join you?
>>
>>52776702
You can only return to a world you've already been to if you purchase one or more Returns from the Warehouse Supplement. They let you go back and spend an additional ten years at any world you have previously visited. You will be inserted right at the end of the ten years you previously spent there and given no extra points to spend. Technically Returns are only supposed to function once, but people usually house rule that into once every so many Jumps.

A few Jumps also have special functions that allow you to visit them again between universes, notably Slice of Life, but that tends to be rare.
>>
>>52776721
Didn't even see the Return option. Greatly appreciated.
>>
>>52776756
And it's up to some people if they houserule otherwise ya dingus.

Personally given how much it costs, it should work on a different system to begin with.
>>
>>52776449
All Exalted can do that. The stunt system means that the more awesome your actions, the better you are at doing them (and it's an in-character thing, too, not just a game mechanic). It's not a huge increase, so you still need to be actually competent, but it's still worth that little extra boost. You should also take advantage of the First Malfean Excellency, if you go to Infernals. Infernal Excellencies let the Infernal add bonus dice to any action that resonates with the themes of the Yozi they bought the charm for. One of Malfeas' themes is "fuck moderation". Any overly bombastic or showy action is applicable to use the charm on, so that should cover all your CUH-RAY-ZEE needs.
>>
>>52776783
No problem.

The originally creator intended it to be a "one and done" kinda deal, but nobody's gonna honestly care if you wing it working it differently. Hell, even QS got a bit grumbly over it later on.
>>
>>52776392
>Looks over at Dresden Files.
Hmm
>Look at last thread.
Fallen London Correspondence
That sounds like something designed to really, really, fuck with the outsiders. I mean then seems opposed to the stars anyway, with the Arc phrases Stars and Stones (things that protect against the Outsiders, the Outer Gates are the stones, and being born under auspicious Stars are what let Harry bypass Outsider Magic Immunity) and Empty Night (The Outsiders End Goal)

Imaging Literally being a star, from the egg soul from Fallen London, and stuff like the Star race in Narnia, and using Correspondence and your light to completely fuck over the Outsiders ability to exist in your presence, having them and their influence pop like soap bubbles from being in your sight.
>>
>>52776103
>1) Demon/Dark Souls
Dark Souls. DS3 is my favor in terms of perks and the like, but DaS has Priscilla AND Sif, so yeah.

>2) Final Fantasy

>2) Warhammer/40K
Orks, if we're still getting that.

>4) Star Wars
OT.

>5) DC
Teen Titans for nostalgia?

>6) Exalted
Ooh, pretty tough. Infernals has the coolest stuff on offer, so that is my favorite as a jump.

My favorite in terms of Exaltation... probably still Infernals.

Dragon-Blooded are cool, but they're weaker and more team oriented.

Lunars are cool, but not AS cool as Infernals.

I just don't like Sidereals much at all. Duck punches are cool and all, but everything else is just meh. Divine bureaucracy? Fuuuuck that.

Abyssals? Nah, fuck that.

And Solars are cool for sun-praising and whatnot, but I haven't actually looked into them that much. And the fluff constantly sucking them off is kinda off-putting.

Dragonblooded. I REALLY love the themes of the DBs even if they're mostly just there to be enough of a threat to Solars for drama but not individually a massive threat. I'm a sucker for wuxia styled dynastic shit.

pic related, Archer, fucking hates his job of murdering a bunch of people all the time to ensure peace and he had his ideals shattered many, many times over. He's a bit of a grumpy jerk and depending on the Fate jump you're in he may or may not backstab you to kill his past self if you don't talk him down to it, but he would probably be very happy to be taken away from his world.

don't be fooled, that smile is very, rare. and it is also precious. do not betray him or let him down. He really does need a friend, I think.

Hey Digger, would you mind answering a question I have for Classic Sonic? The boosted version of Master Plan creates multiple sealed evils, correct?
>>
>>52776965
I am glad I am not the only one who decided he needs wub wubs, also where is that pic from?
>>
>>52776998

It allows you to find sealed evils that could reasonably exist in the world and cause a big problem but didn't exist in canon

Examples given in something like GTA would be a crazy genius cultist guy locked up in an asylum, or maybe a legit supernatural threat like Bigfoot or a Jason Voorhees-styled Slasher

It's usually something that'd be "out there" for the world but could theoretically exist without being disicovered until canon. Sorta like if a jumping of the shark was happening for the source material. >stares at modern sonic

Fate Grand Order. It's rare but Archer actually smiles one or two times. Once when he's talking about how proud he is of the protag for growing so much in strength, (It's his Bond 4 or 5 line I believe?), another is when he's talking about Taiga. (Well, kinda.)
