I don't like to make new ones, as much as I like to take existing ones and reflavoring them to my conversions. The rules remain, just the descriptions and titles change to fit my stuff.

This one is a drakesworn templar altered to fit my big duardin steam mech I have planned to do. I'll pretty much be kitbashing the arkanaut frigate with an imperial knight.

I think if that were the case, then good for them. If not, then I think they just planned this date long in advance, and realized they had some dead space they needed to fill with some things.

I am betting they were planning the newcromunda terrain much later, but due to it being sold out nearly instantly and the demand, they pushed the terrain releases earlier.

It could be possible that the KO were bumped a week to accommodate this demand.

Get metal sheets or metal baking sheets, glue rare earth magnets to the bottom of your minis and they will stick to the sheet. With a strong enough magnet you can even hold the sheet upside down with no issues.

Yes. Did one today, actually. I was playing Stormcast, friend was playing Chaos and had nearly double my modle count, so I declared Sudden Death and chose Endurance. Managed to win by Battle of Thermopylae-ing him.

Narrative was that my Stormhost had to hold this pass while Order forces behind them secured an objective, and the game ending at the end of turn six represented them being successful and returning to Azyrheim.

I would say the Ironbreakers, Hammerers, Firedrakes and Longbeards all still look good. The flame cannon is also newer and pretty nice. Gyrocopters are still decent, as are cannons.

Plus you can always take other Order stuff with it, like Empire cannons.

If it helps at all, the Vulkite Berserkers are an incredibly tough block of dwarfs to break. Take 30 of them and give them some support, they will be damn difficult to grind through. The giant fire dragons they ride are also cool.

They play well with other Dwarf units.

They are pretty good, especially their fluff. They search relentlessly for a special type of gold which is said to be originated from their god, grimnir. They then take this gold and literally hammer it into their flesh to gain power from that god.

However right now they are sort of underpowered in matched play, but they are getting a massive points drop in the next general's handbook.

I'm mostly curious for feedback on his unique spell. Based on Fimir Warriors and generic Battlemage for the weapon. I was going for thematic (mists that are a giant middle finger to shooting, that can ultimately turn poisonous) but I worry about it being too OP. I just want a wizard/hero for my Fimir army. Plan on making some sort of combat hero at some point too with a proper command ability to be a general.

Good luck. Playing them is a challenge because they are only decent when you stack buffs with them and apply a lot of synergy between the heroes and units. The magmadroths are really good in combat. Even then at this point they are overcosted and lack good allegiance abilities. But stick with them, because when they eventually get their battletome update, they will likely get all the tools they need, as the other factions are getting right now.

They do. Sigmar and Dragonbro are seen flying through space. Slaan have space ships and teleport around around not requiring realmgates.
Sigmar needs the Realmsgates to move his mortal forces and also deny the Chaos hordes access to them. The Stormcast usually strike not through a realmgate but Sigmar teleporting them to throughout the Realms.

Ogres/Beastclaw raiders have much better behemoths than Ironjawz which also add good shooting and mortal wound generation. 3x Ogor battleline is point per point statistically nearly as good as two brute units so you gain very little by running pure ironjawz.

9 Ogres get 30 attacks at 4+ reroll 1, 3+ wound 2 damage. 20ish wounds dealt before armor saves.
10 Brutes do 24 attacks 3+/3+ 1 damage + 12 4+/3+ 2 damage. 18ish wounds dealt average.

Yeah they are worse but not like miles worse compared to a generic battleline. Take it in context where brutes are really the only thing good Jawz get and it starts to look like not so much of an impressive difference. Then you can just add brute units into a mixed list with raiders and bonesplitterz anyway.

If you have a disciples of tzeentch allegiance and set aside points for summoning, then in game you can summon Nurgle stuff or whatever and still be considered a DoT army. Ok so I kind of have the basic idea for a theme for my bloodbound I want to run past you guys.

Basically the idea is they are a tribe of mortals (yet to be named) who were driven out from their homes and almost wiped out by some other yet to be named group of Khornate dickheads.

Anyway they engage in a guerilla war to initially to get their lands back but the more bloody and brutal the fighting gets the more focused on revenge they become until eventually their focus is solely on punishing those who wronged them (or their descendants as the original tribesmen are all long since dead) and those who they perceive as having failed to protect them, Sigmar, Stormcasts, the rest of the order bunch.

They are so fueled by rage at this point that they are fully under the sway of khorne.

Think I might use pick related heads since my proposed fluff has a pretty Ghost Rider / Scorpion feel to it, just need to try and think of a reason why they'd all look like that other than "Khorne did it as a joke" or at the very least think of a way to word it better.

i used to play empire in WHFB. i still do them on occasional games of 8th edition with my friend. I have some questions kind sirs. So you've got 351 boys + 2 or 3 boss = 353 or 354 shots during the Hero phase, and again during the shooting phase, for 706 or 708 shots a turn.
