The way spending will work is you can spend as much as your structural integrity as you want, but the less of it you have, the more fragile that limb's gonna be. For example, attaching a machine gun (that I'm gonna go complete /k/ on in terms of customization) to your right arm removes something like 200 structural integrity from that arm.

I'm gonna have a recommended threshold of no less than 50% for most power armour suits, but that's not something that'll stop you from going beneath that threshold. It'll just mean your limb/part will be more fragile.

I hope it'll reinforce the idea of prioritizing certain limbs to be your "weapon arm," for example, while you keep the structural integrity of other parts safe. And also make you think about placements for your modules, since some modules probably won't fit on your arm but may fit on your torso (like a huge rail gun or something).

And on top of all attachable modules to your suit, I'm thinking of having "limb strength" as another resource for your ability to carry things, like non-attached heavy weapons.

That's why you have to make a cyoa with a narrative nature. Often the main character's personality isn't even that important so long as they follow the plot, and all you have to do is set up various options to link up a rough plot line and this cyoa options would work out great. Also you could get a bunch of books out of this that would be just like twilight, but of a different nature, like steampunk with vampires, or how I became the lover of a dragon hunter. That's why you have the narrative structure to the cyoa, so that it grants a satisfying beginning, middle, and end. Hell a number of cyoa do this to some degree with picking an origin a quest or school or something, and then a final gift for completing it. You also don't need a complete narrative, just throw in some narrative concepts and you're good. Like throw in the hero's journey as part of how you level up your powers, or offer powers that grant the benefits of fiction, like having enforced plot progression so that your life is never stagnate. Besides they're getting different options, so they may get to choose a narrative they like, just put in a few choices with some basic concepts of how they work and let it work itself out.

When I did the initial layout I mostly learned Photoshop from SDA's source files, so I did some weird things like adding additional layers with white dividing lines because default Photoshop's behavior was retarded (the layer shadow didn't work as intended, for example).
