How would one properly utilize the bard's countersong, distraction, and fascinate?

What if the "Trade Language" isn't even a spoken language at all, but rather the character is proficient at grunting, gesticulating and generally showing their interest in buying a good for so much cash.

That way a person *has* to learn the local language if they want to hold a conversation, but anyone who knows Trade can "function" in a foreign society.

Necromancers are great, they can talk to the dead to emulate divination, they can use negative energy and cold to both blast and battlefield control, and of course they can summon hordes of the damned to emulate a conjuration summoner.

They are jacks of all trades, one of the many reasons the dread Necro was so damn good.

Did some more Spellburst Savant homebrew. Broom Jockey is a mobility/flight/speed based spellburst savant with a melee theme.

This is the alpha so feedback is highly appreciated. Among other things, I'm a little iffy if it's got enough melee boost to be functional in combat as most of it's stuff is about mobility and it lost some nova spell getting there. Still, Flyby Attack works nicely with Wave Motion Strike (As it allows a standard action, NOT just an attack)

Any one on from dragon game? How was it?

Aegis and a smaller Onslaught Kineticist turret.
The Aegis takes the Passenger upgrade and becomes the main source of mobility and defenses, though still quite capable of nasty hits if using the customzations and POW access right. Meanwhile the partner on the back can handle some area and utility effects (like Void's gravity line or anti-regen aura) so that both lay down horrific firepower from above in various deadly fashion.

Alternatively an Iron Titan can transform and take a 'mount' upgrade. You can be the reaver jetbike to her succubus pilot.

Okay, for people interested in Blood Mountain, I've got Trade Languages worked out.

Essentially, you can learn a Trade Language by selecting it from a region: Commonwealth, North, South, or West. You gain the ability to communicate with all speakers of the languages in those areas, but suffer a -2 penalty on such checks (i.e Bluff, Diplo, sense motive, etc.) unless you spend another rank in order to learn another, more specific language. Trade Languages are essentially more narrow sets of the standard "Common" tongue we see in Pathfinder.

The following campaign traits will be available:

Trader: allowing you to take only a -1 penalty, instead of a -2, which becomes -0 with ten ranks in linguistics.

Natural Linguist: Cha to Linguistics instead of Int, gain two languages per rank in linguistics.

It definitely needs work, but I'm not gonna worry too much about it now. What do you all want to know about the setting that isn't in the setting overview doc?

Lock was originally meant to be simplified grapple but I think it's moved to a very different space now. Better in some areas, worse in others.

Much lower investment cost to work, lower action cost to pull off, no penalty on yourself, easier to drag enemies.
In contrast, no numerical debuffs on the enemy, and they have more chances to escape.
I find it's better to think of Lock as 'controlling the enemy's footwork' than a grapple hold.

Also, Lock is fun but it's still worth a look, Fool's Errand is one of my favourite disciplines and some of its best things have nothing to do with lock

The targeting stuff for their capstone and Strike Unity. With SU, the maneuver is initiated through a member of the collective and restricted by their position and senses. How is the zealot supposed to target something with that? Do both the Zealot and the ally they're initiating through have to see the target? Is there a maneuver or power that allows for shared senses for the purposes of targeting?

The capstone looks hilarious, but broken in the non-functional sense. To add someone to the collective, they need line of sight, but when their soul is part of the collective they have neither position nor senses. Is there an errata to this anywhere or am I missing something?

Pick and choose, generally my mid-to-high level initiators end up with all rounder builds that try and have maneuvers readied for most occassions. Here. Added a clause for what happens if the wyvern dies, re-scaled the stinger to make it a bit more competitive with the claws, and added some more talents, plus a drawback to taking the initiation talent so it isn't an auto-take. Also, moved the whole wyvern section to the bottom.

I'm not a reviewanon and I'm too lazy to sort out my thoughts, but overall I think the batch is really good. I could see basically any of them getting in here, so the ones I think are weaker are the ones with a few less hooks or a bit less direction.

Lys in particular sits right around the middle of the pack for me. She's good, doesn't have a "problem" a few apps do, but while her gimmick is fun it kind of leaves her without a lot of meat. If I were a DM I'd avoid her, but she might be to Argent's tastes, and as an anonymous poster with no stakes I'd like to see her on the roster.
