Huh, would it be egregious wank to just say that the crunch doesn't matter and that this world just likes to talk in RPG terms about everything?

Pretty strictly. The game mechanics are basically physics and how the world works there. Everyone acknowledges them too.

I mean, sure, there are some differences like spells and classes that don't exist in normal D&D, but it's pretty much built on game mechanics.

Thanks for the .pdf, but I wasn't very clear in my question. I meant to say ,*exactly* like Gods in d&d.

Just by existing you make it possible for people to pray to your spells, without needing to interact directly.

I know that post-spark you can just become a god in a d7D setting to get that ability, but I was wondering if it's possible to get that or something similiar in jump.

And ideas?

Well, if you're a Dragon in D&D, you can take the Dragon Ascendant class. At level 12, you're a Quasi-Deity, and you can empower Clerics as proper gods do.

Your followers just need the Initiate of [You] feat like Tchazzar has Clerics with the Initiate of Tchazzar feat, but that's merely a matter of training them little extra.

Alternatively, the Church/Angel perks in Innistrad.

Nope. At least, not in D&D.

There is, however, the Compression psionic power. It only last for 1/minute per level at most though.

And there's the Ring of Reduction, but that only shrinks them by one size category.

>D&D dragons start out too big for proper lap dragons.
Actually, Wyrmling dragons can be Tiny, which is about cat-size. It depends on the species how big they start out.

Not necessarily what I was referring, but it's also fine. Even something like Zen-Oh would be OK. Or if you're into monster forms, being something like Amaterasu from Okami or Coyote from Gunnerkrigg Court would be nicer than being a tentacle-wannabe monster.

I just think that being defeated by a small, more ordinarily looking being is much more humiliating that being defeated by a mountain sized dragon with 500 eyes and thousands of wings.

You don't need spells, just pick up a Pseudodragon in any Dungeons and Dragons Jump. You can get them as a familiar with an extra feat quite easily. They're small sized dragons that don't grow with age, but are as smart as people, so you can often teach them Class levels. Admittedly they'll need a bit of help to reach anything above the basics, but they take to Arcane magic quite nicely.

Technically, anything can take class levels as long as their intelligence is above... I want to say 6? Might be 8. In any case, Pseudodragons have 10, which is more than enough.

I have four of the little scaled beasts. Vasuki, Ormr, Ladon, and Fafnir. They like to sneak out of the Warehouse and have little adventures of their own when I'm not looking. They'll usually come back covered in dirt with a bag of treasure they "recovered" from somewhere.

Anyways, each of them are a capable spellcaster of their own. Sorcerers mostly, though Ormr took to Wizardry a little more easily and stuck with it. Fafnir eventually got into Binding Magic. I have to admit, it's a little terrifying when he stretches those powers. Still, he learned them from me, so it's a mixture of proud/scared.

I wish I had a picture of them in the mini Kamen Rider belts Raven made for them. They each only hold one Cosmic Switch, but you haven't seen cute until you've seen four lap-sized dragons shout "Henshin!", transform, and then pose dramatically as a team.

I only wish the Import options were a little better for Steven Universe. I dearly want to make them into Half-Gems, but my build tight as it is. I either import everybody and get nothing myself or take some Drawbacks that I'm really not interested in dealing with.

Technically, dragons are human intelligence large firelizards. The firelizards came first, then Pern's colonists genetically engineered them to be huge and ride-able. It's easy to forget sometimes that Dragonriders of Pern is actually a sci-fi setting.

Yeah, I went with State Switches, which gave them various elemental Breath Powers. I went with the classics. Fire, Ice, Electricity, and Sonic. I /really/ can't wait to head back to a Kamen Rider universe and just roll over the baddies with, effectively, six Kamen Riders. Seven if I could convince Raven to finally pick up one of the things.

Kamen Rider Midnight has a nice ring to it.

>Technically, anything can take class levels as long as their intelligence is above... I want to say 6? Might be 8. In any case, Pseudodragons have 10, which is more than enough.
Not even that, Intelligence 3 is all that's required. Which leads to the fun old trick of giving a slime, which are normally mindless, the Celestial or Fiendish templates. That gives a minimum intelligence of 3, meaning that the slimes can then take class levels. The Fiendish Gelatinous Cube Monk is a mean trick.

One of them is a shapeshifting perk that works based off of making yourself believe you're something other than you are. And then ends your chain if you believe too hard.

Another gives you super engineering skills but slowly turns you into an emotionless robot.

The Inner World one gives you a horrific pocket dimension powered by schizophrenia that you uncontrollably project like a reality marble and drag people into.

The only one with bearable downsides is the one that makes it so you easily dig up information at the cost of people getting pissed at you for doing so. But it's also hardly capstone worthy, so.

>I never watched Wizard, so I only have a vague idea what you're talking about, but I like the sound of Double Dragons. Will certainly be researching that.
Wizard and Beast's super forms were accomplished by combining them with their Phantoms. Wizard's Phantom was the Wizardragon, so his super forms were the Dragon Styles, manifesting a different part of the dragon for each of his elemental forms (fire/head, water/tail, wind/wings, earth/claws). When he got all of them combined together he had Infinity Form. Though looking at the Phantom customization, you can't actually get a dragon Phantom. Could have sworn we had one. Well, nevermind, then. Sorry, no Double Dragons.

>>51967060

That you can see. They're probably just keeping them closed out of politeness.
>>
>>51966346
I feel like some steps are missing, and assumptions are made.

I mean, lets ask ourselves if in the real world a source of magic came into existence, like a star, shedding mana away from itself. Would we automatically be able to use it, or even perceive it? If so in what way? Could you shape the way the mana is being use? And if you are the source, do you really want others to be able to shape the mana you are giving so readily, rather than in a more contained and limited form like what the D&D Gods do?

Maybe I'm overthinking this...
>>

Man, everyone always goes for the bloodlines, in Naruto. Am I the only one who went Civilian? Glorious Leadership is probably the best perk in that jump. Take that and all the genetic Chosen Ones of the setting (especially the literal Chosen Ones of Naruto and Sasuke) lose all their importance due to having to acknowledge that it was little old civilian you who saved the day. No noble pedigree, no orphaned status for people to make assumptions about your heritage, just a ninja of low birth who gained strength on their own merits instead of inheriting their ancestors' hard work.
>>
I've got a question about the Mononokehime Jump:

If I take Blessing of the Old Spirit multiple times, do I get to choose an extra blessing every time? For example, could 2 purchases get me a blessing from a Wolf and Deer spirit?

Relating to that, what 3 boons do you think a Fox spirit might grant? What about a Snake spirit? Or how about a Salamander spirit?

Second Question: If I buy the Spirit Sapling, then plant it, do I get a new one next Jump? Or do I only get the one sapling?
>>
>>51966337
Thanks.

I'm not terribly happy that the best way, shy of being a god, which means staying in the setting, is to oblige people to invest the sort of effort a feat represents, but it's much better than nothing.

Thankfully I was intented to take that jump as a dragon anyway (serious, who doesn't? They are amazing!) but I would add a note of caution to your suggestion.

A dragon wishing to become a dragon ascendant must consume their hoard, and it must be no less than 10,000gp and the can't just stop there, it has to be the whole thing. For a jumper that would be bad. Thankfully buying a level in it from the jump and taking a dragon race that can meet the prereq.'s should avoid that.

Take Shelter Beneath My Wings + Blessing is almost just what I am looking for.

Would it be kosher to do both of the above and just fanwank away the need for one's cleric to buy the feat?

I am really uncertain how to narratively put someone getting a feat in the first place, given their nature as abstractions.

P.S. That dragon is adorable.

Darn it. It was a good plan though. I appreciate the thought. That would have been cool.

Maybe I'll import them into Generic Fighting Game, give them a tag-team style martial art, and call them Double Double Dragon.

>>51967311
As you're unlike to get an answer from Dirge on here, you will have to fanwank a lot of that. I don't see why you couldn't take Blessing of the Old Spirit multiple times, but the story behind that would probably get silly really fast.

I'm relatively certain you get a new Spirit Sapling with each Jump, but I make sure to take a cutting and store it in my Warehouse before the end of each decade, just in case.

I think I see with the book (although it's a bit tricky to use since you first need to somehow damage the laws of magic before rewriting them), but I don't remember that about being able to make a cultivation method that runs off of different energies than ling.

As far as I can tell from the jump, the closest it gets in have some special places, actions, states of mind, etc to help cultivate, but the energy is still ling/spiriutal energy.

I don't think it matter too much though.
With the book from Buffy, quasi-divine status, Shelter Beneath My Wings and some bullshit skills in magic to iron out the rough edges, i think I can justifiable give my jumper the ability to grants spells, and allow it to be a fairly effortless process.

Assuming the thread agrees with me about it being kosher as >>51967353.

At the point where magic is the only thing stopping you from injuring yourself horribly just by moving. Seriously, the poor lad's one twitch away from cutting himself with his own swords.

>>51966268
...I sort of agree with the reductionist approach in principle, but I approach it from a different angle.

See, way back when I was a weird shadow cutout person the whole point was almost all the time I'd be in all-business don't-even-need-clothes mode just for the sheer frustration and paranoia of being this skinny...thing people can't hit.

Now that being might as well be dead, my this-is-an-aspect-of-my-true-self-visiting-the-universe-instead-of-an-avatar is something abstract. Something people look at and go "how do you even FIGHT that?"; not because it's stronger than you, but because it's so far out there you don't even know where to begin.

Like becoming a mathematical equation. Or the horizon, just this featureless white light spreading out to take up the whole sky. Or a formless telekinetic force. Or a transmissible image.

The point is to make people realise this isn't a fight to be won, but an event.

>>51967627

When everything is banned, nothing will be!
>>
>>51967292
It's because "Hard work beats genius!" is a meme in Naruto. Everyone of any importance was born with or inherited or was bestowed the powers that they have. The pleb shinobi who don't have bloodlines or godlike demons inside them have basically no importance in the long run. And unless you have some kind of innate power you're not contributing shit in the latter parts of the story. No amount of strategy is going to help you when Uchiha Madara shows up and starts using his magic eyeballs to colony drop whole countries. Once you hit that level you basically fade into irrelevancy unless you have some kind of innate power. Glorious Leadership will allow you to run a bit of support and will force the protagonists to acknowledge that you were definitely the reason why they won and there's no way they could've beaten the bad guys without the small bits of advice that you gave them while they were fighting that continent-destroying demon goddess but there comes a point where Glorious Leadership's effects start to feel condescending even if everybody genuinely does attribute the success to you despite you contributing essentially nothing of significance.

If you want to actually contribute something and not just leech off of the glory of others then you need bloodlines or a Bijuu or something or else you can't actually do anything about the top-tier threats. You can't train to reach that level, at least not under normal circumstances. You have to pick up some kind of power to match them. If you train like crazy and reach Gai's level then you could use the Eight Gates to match up against somebody like Jinchuuriki Madara but even then you're basically sacrificing your life to stall for time. Your only real hope of changing anything without bloodlines is OCP and in that case you've basically pissed on the concept of "hard work beats genius" already. So why not go full Super Special Snowflake and buy a shitload of bloodlines?

>>51967812
Well yeah but that doesn't even really have to do with bloodlines. That's more just everyone not named Madara Uchiha being shit. Even without his magic eyes he's still beating everyone at once.
>>
>>51967708
Which won't help you in the long run. Fucking Edo Tensei Madara, his weakest incarnation by a huge margin, is stronger than a Tailed Beast. His resurrected self with one eye is capable of casually wiping out all of the Tailed Beasts in seconds. And his Jinchuuriki form is massively more powerful than his resurrected self with both eyes, which is massively stronger than when he wiped out all of the Tailed Beasts. And then Kaguya comes along and shits on Jinchuuriki Madara like he's absolutely nothing.

At the Third Raikage's level you wouldn't even register at the end of the story. You're a cockroach in a world of gods. Basically anyone of significant power would instantly crush you out of hand.

As Bancho said, also that ability was given to them by the BBEG though using a dangerous artifact, and a dangerous magical tower that makes the sun older, and hotter every time it's majorly being used.

Apparently they were connected to the elemental planes in such a way that while it didn't make them clerics, it did make them into conduits that could provide spells.

Even if you could duplicate the feat in Dark Sun and didn't care about the cost and could handle the dangers, without something the permit it, how can you keep the link to the elemental planes as you jump?

And even assuming it's possible, then that is still a massive undertaking, in setting, requiring at least two major artifacts and knowledge only known to an insanely dangerous insane monster.

I love the symetry in the last bit where Kaguya is revealled.

In the early parts of the manga there was some reference to the japanese version of paper-rock-scissors, or jan-ken-po, or snake-slug-toad, as in the 3 sannin.

I can't quite remember which order it goes, but here we are, the remains of the shinobi forces, vs madara. He's just trapped everyone else in the infinte tsuykyomi(sp?) and is one step away from absolute victory. There is no hope of victory, right up until he gets oneshotted by Zetsu and turned into Kaguya, who ironically is not able to win against the shinobi.

Naruto and Sasuke were solid s-class and had both teamwork and significant personal power. Madara was on his own but had a lot more power and skill, along with a significant experience advantage. Kaguya was even stronger, had Zetsu looking out for her, but was a complete noob at fighting, with all of her experience being limited to basically magic or overpowering someone.

It was probably unintentional, but I like it nonetheless.
>>
>>51967829
This is why Gai is my favorite character. A bog standard human of the setting nearly killed the living meme that Madara had become. He actually nearly killed what was effectively God, for that matter, by kicking so hard that he warped space. He only didn't because of plot.

Sure, he only didn't die because of ninja Jesus and he still ended up cripples, but you got to admire the dude for nearly killing God with sheer determination.
>>
>>51968089
Do you think an absurd healing factor could offset the drawbacks of opening up the gates?
>>
>>51967884
if yor talking about the perk from the Dark Sun jump itself, I Live to Serve, it just makes you into a cleric. I don't see how it would help.

It would give you first hand experience being a cleric, making it easier to teach other how to be a cleric of (you). But as for maintaining the connections the Dark Lens would need to make, I don't see it. It does connect you to an element (just one, and I assume through thelemental plane, but the jump doesn't say) but only as a petitioner.

Clerics cannot eventually grow so powerful and accomplished that they can then act as a patron diety could and give access to spells. Even with the Dark Lens, shy of the same ritual the Rajaat guy did, I don't think it would help, unless you fanwanked really hard.
>>
>>51967991
>I have seen hell, and it is two weeks without internet.
Justice is David Rubins husband: confirmed.
>>
>>51968111
Hmm. If I remember right, the 8th gate kills you because opening it involved piercing your heart. And the side effexts from the others is mostly due to your body disintegrating from being over clocked.

So probably. It may also damamge your chakra system, but then the chakra system seems to be an actual biological part of people.
>>
>>51968111
I've heard a lot of different answers to this. Some say it should, if you had healing far beyond what any character who used it in canon had, since it's just injuries when you get right down to it. Others say that chakra has enough of a spiritual component to it that you'd need something more than standard regeneration.

I think a lot of the discussion boils down to the fact that being able to heal through would pretty much eliminate all the technique's downsides, which would make it one of the strongest things in the setting.
>>
>>51967851
If you need to remain relevant that badly either get Hamura's chakra by heading up to the moon and talking with him or take MC-Kun and by the time Kaguya pops out you'll have gotten the power up.
>>
>>51968111
Maybe if you got something that also let you regenerate stuff like chakra lines, which apparently aren't physical or something?
That's the answer I got when I asked about putting a miniaturized TF2 healing beam in Rock Lee.
>>
>>51968111
Seems reasonable, at least for the lower number of gates.

Higher numbers would put more stress on the body, your regen would probably just allow you to use them for longer and recover more qickly.

Regarding the Gate of Death... Strong enough regen would probably make you capable of enduring the state for longer, and make it possible to recover, but might not be enough to keep you alive.

Also, you are basically removing all limits on your body, and anything you add to help handle the gates also increases that ceiling, making it possible to get more power, but not necessarily reducing the cost.

Even if Gate of Death could be survived and recovered from, I would caution you not to trivialise it by trying to have it on and available all the time. It is supposed to be a measure of last resort, but the first few gates, would probably be fine to treat that way.
>>
>>51968159
Chakra systems aren't quite physical. They make a big deal over how Rasenshurikens were fucking up Naruto's even though way larger damage had been taken to the same spots without anything happening.

>>
>>51967659
Ah, sorry, my fault for not providing context: I'm already super powerful. I'm not really going to be the civilian shinobi who came from nothing and showed them the strength of the ordinary person. I can't be, I'm a jumper, I've been blessed by an extradimensional goddess. Rather, I just want to make them think I am. I'm avoiding bloodlines because those are powers they know, and if I use them they'll attribute my power to those bloodlines. If I use things I've gathered from other jumps, especially things that are teachable and so aren't unique to me, then it will look like I'm just that great a genius. I don't really want to make an ideological point, I just want to make the canon characters feel bad about how their legacies ultimately were nothing compared to my abilities.

It is. Rasenshurikens attack on the cellular level. Even Pain's bodies, zombies though they might be, were made of real flesh.

From what sources I can find, the Minovsky Reactor was invented in UC 0047, but the Jupiter Energy Fleet was founded in UC 0026. There's not much reason to harvest Jovian He-3 unless you've got viable fusion power, so was Minovsky's work just significant because it allowed for miniaturization of the reactors? Please let me know what you guys think.

doesn't that create big empty spaces?this is Not going to be imaged by me You know
>>
>>51966318
The perk is not limited to one that suits you/will not twist your mind to match the RM if you pick something that doesn't match. It also starts with you having 20 years or so experience with it, which includes having it b stocked with stuff if it's something like UBW.

NPs just give you the ability, not experience in it, and will twist your mind if you pick something unmatching.
>>
>>51970102
Not him but when I did my last jump I had to use periods to bump the page down, an empty space looks a bit better than a cut in half description. Just my 2 cents.
>>
>>51970092
Ghost in the Machine's description makes it sound as if you could take over other peoples' bodies just by touching them. Might want to clarify what is meant by:
>As long as you have some means of connecting with something that can hold a mind you can simply shift into it effortlessly, with no loss of self or continuity of consciousness.
>>
>>51970092
I think that I want every single thing in this jump, as usual for your work. Though the Gearhead and Megacorp perks are especially nice. Infrastructure, social engineering, and technology not backfiring on you as a symbol of man's hubris. What's not to love?
>>
>>51970140
okay I can go with that if you folks would honestly prefer it
>>
>>51970102
Empty spaces are better than bad formatting.
>>
>>51970160
will do,all I have are seven perks left and the drawbacks section.
>>
>>51970151
Noted. That one I knew was gonna be kind of a pain. It's a simple perk that's meant to let AIs shift themselves into other computers and the like without getting into silly existential arguments about whether you died or if your perks would carry over, etc.

With a bit of Eclipse Phase's moving into an organic body if you got a neural connection to an empty one.

I actually forgot to try and rewrite it like I was planning. Whoops.

>>51970154
Glad to hear. Hopefully I can do the same with the Gear, which always gives me some trouble. Only gearline I feel good about right now is Megacorp's, the others I'm kind of scrambling on.
>>
>>51970110
Hey, Val, another question about Infinity sorry: Can you cancel aspects of a spell, or does it have to be the whole thing? Like, say I cast a massive AoE ice spell-could I "carve out" an ice fortress simply by letting parts of the spell die? Or if I cast a multilayer ward, could only some of the layers be disabled?
>>
>>51970019
My formatting and grammar are pretty shitty honestly, but I can try to help later if you want. I know you said you're working off of TTS and I can only imagine how frustrating that shit must be.
>>
>>51970110
How long does it take Zombie to regen from nothing? Is there an example of it in the series?
>>
>>51970247
I'm doing the best I can and using voice dictation sure as hell Beats not being able to communicate at all so it's a lot less frustrating than it used to be. And once more everyone is welcome to fix And proofread technical stuff in my jumps since

For the last time I am not a waifu!

Basically you'd have an innate ability to mind upload or the like instead of having to have a machine or the like do it for you, but it'd require a neural/mental connection. The kind of guy who they hook up to a cyberbrain ready for a complicated process to transfer you into the new body and then you just shrug and shift over while the eggheads start wondering how the fuck you did it. Your origin might not even have any idea it's something they can do.

Ban pretty much regenerates a few seconds after the damage is done. Like he one time got his entire upper body reduced to ash. It wasn't a few seconds later he got back up like nothing.

His main MO is to stand still, take attacks, which often do much more damage than if anyone else gets hit. King's favorite greeting is to impale Ban.

Ar Tonelico Towers can provide magic on-demand to anybody registered with only a little bit of fiat-powered tweaking.

If you're an Origin, then the Tower is basically/sortof your body.

Innistrad has a perk that, IIRC, lets you act as a source of divine magic for your followers.

Unlike many people here, I see no issue with preemptively putting a claim on a piece of media if you agree to take your time with it and you don't rush to complete it for fame points. (Certainly, I preemptively claimed Fire Emblem Heroes).

You, however, have a lot of work to do already. I would suggest either dropping one of your many claims or doing one of them before claiming Breath of The Wild.

Does anyone have any "commuter" vehicles? Not that super-fighter or planet cracking flagship, I'm talking about a vehicle you use all the time, like to go to the groceries, ride into battle, or just to shuttle you and your buddies around.

Basically a bike, plane, etc. that you use far more often for it's (relatively) mundane utility.

Mine is a Widow Dropship from Titanfall, I don't know why but I really dig it's blocky no-nonsense aesthetics.

I'm importing it into Star Wars: Original Trilogy, and while looking for a Star Wars appropriate form for it I found out flying boxes are apparently a thing there too.

As a result, a Question: since the Widow looks so similar to other existing drop ships, do I have to give it an altform/skin, or can I import it looking exactly as-is?

Personally I found the series funny because it's a bit of a parody. The MC is some fucking shitty dating sim addict that no one likes and he's totally okay with that since "2D is superior". Then he gets wrangled by reaper into getting involved with this generic harem comedy plot device of "fill their hearts with love to save them!" but he hates it, refuses and gets told that he'll be beheaded if he keeps it up. So, they go to do their job and "this god of dating sims in human form" is actually fucking super casanova when he's actually wooing actual girls. He sees the routes of reality, the good and bad flags, how to seal the deal, the whole shebang. Everybody who actually learns how he does it thinks he's despicable. MC continues not to give a shit and just wants to play games. The series ACTIVELY tries to prevent you from thinking he's cool whenever he does something cool by reminding you he's a shitty dating sim addict with shit taste in waifu and drawing him in a bad cartoon style.

Basically all my vehicles are "commuters", at least as long as they aren't mobile factories.

I go to get my groceries and/or go on roadtrips much more often than I engage in vehicular combat.

After a certain point, it just became impractical. Now I only really fight with a host of differently-sized mechs.

But my main commuter vehicles are my motorcycle (originally a Harley I got while I was filling in for Santa), which has a ton of import and upgrades. Mostly to look cool, but also to go fast.

My hoverboard, which is basically a chrome surfboard. It was meant to be used in superhero settings for my Silver Surfer impression, but now doubles as shopping cart when I get my groceries or otherwise go shopping.

There's also the gigantic War Rig I got from Mad Max. That one's really only used for long roadtrips or post-apoc worlds, though I basically lived in it during Mad Max itself. It's got a REALLY tricked out sound system, building on the speakers and horns I got it with. More of tank/train combo than a normal rig though

And lastly we have the Biggest Boat from CATastrophe, which is basically the boat me and the companions use to cruise around when we're taking a vacation.

During the Fallout jumps, I converted a couple of pic-relateds into flying mobile-home-esque things. It made it a hell of a lot easier to do my job as a troubleshooter. It wasn't super fancy setup, consisting mainly of hammocks to sleep along with enough crates of food and munitions to last since I had a self-imposed warehouse limit, but it was comfy and it was home. Since then, they're my default method of long-distance transportation and lodging in any semi-appropriate settings.

On a completely unrelated note, are there any potential waifus in Overwatch that would deserve a special trip to acquire?

That doesn't make sense.
Dirge doesn't bother making rulings anymore, and he doesn't really care how people interpret things.
The handover if you can really call it that was him leaving people an option if they couldn't get a hold of him so he didn't need to watch the thread like a hawk for what is and isnt' updated.
It was never about rulings.

Probably a noobish question, but how does cyberware, especially limbs and such, interact with things like fitness and regeneration perks? Does taking a lot of cyberware hurt you in the long run because you limited the usefulness of a lot of other powers?
>>
>>51971896
Not to sound unhelpful, but it varies from case to case. If the perk is one that's explicitly biological fitness or healing, then yeah, it's not going to work. But there are plenty of just fiat regeneration perks, or ones that if not fiat would affect non-biological parts like medical nanites or stuff like that.

Between: all my teleport abilities and technology (including DBZ instant transmission, which I teach my companions); high speed flying powers; and how few jumps actually require travelling what I consider long distances; I normally don't bother with vehicles unless I'm doing some depowered combat in which case I go for tanks, jets, mechs, etc, but when I do feel like using them just for driving:

My Big O griffon or Mad Max war rig for ground transport (with various trailers for various needs, from cargo to command to my "fold up fort").

My Avatar dragon assault ship for aerial commutes.

And for space, I use my runabout.

Well, in Naruto, I might have made Sasuke into a girl with that one perk. We fought pretty much all time, we didn't take any shit off of each other, the typical rival situation, right? Cue the Sound Four showing up, one pissed off speech on my part calling her out on her shit, and boom. Ended up together after a while.

>Plus I tend to kneejerk away from super hyped options/FOTM kind of stuff.
Are you a hipster IRL? Genuinely curious.
>>
>>51971737
So, fun fact. I helped George De Sand with his issues back in G Gundam, and then I get flowers the next day. Okay, that's good, that's nice. I thought they were just thank-you flowers and not romantic flowers.

And then later on we had to fight bad guys side by side and then I freaked out that innocent people would get hurt and ran to help them in a rare bit of bravery (actually it was the result of my character development in the jump). I guess that must have won his heart over or something? Who knows honestly.

After the fight he says, "After this tournament I would like to show you around Neo France, whatever the outcome is." and then I was like "Sure! Why not!" I didn't think he was actually making a move on me. I thought he was just trying to be nice since we were friends.

Maybe he kind of got the idea that I didn't really notice him trying to hit on me because he later on outright blurted out a love confession to me during a fight when he was near-death.

>And if you are the source, do you really want others to be able to shape the mana you are giving so readily, rather than in a more contained and limited form like what the D&D Gods do?
There are perks that prevent others from using your power without your consent, or using it against you. If you are generating the mana yourself, it counts, and you get a veto.

This setup would make you the god of magic. I d&d the gods of magic give a general permission to everyone, and revoke it in specific instances where necessary.

Mandatory means you have to something, it does not mean you are not compensated. Like being conscripted. It means you have to join the army. It does not mean they don't pay you for being in the army, that is something else entirely.

In Morrowind it didn't stack if you cast the same spell over and over, but you could stack different spells that had the same or similar effects. Well I decided to do things a bit differently that this version of me was going to do. While I am helping snowflame make his Cocaine. I am also providing several less harmful designer drugs with unique effects, some that make you smarter or more charismatic, some that provide minor super powers like enhanced senses or regeneration.

So needless to say Snowflame was kind of an unreliable partner. He almost immediately tried to take over other drug dealers territories and start things because he can. He enjoyed it when people in mundane worlds try and shoot him only to find out he is bullet proof. He likes fighting and boasting and doing that gives him plenty of opportunity to do both

Don't know about Fortify Intelligence, but Fox's Cunning and whatever Epic Spell you come up with don't stack. Though the Epic Spell can basically be arbitrarily high, as long as you can actually pull of casting it (which is determined by intelligence for a wizard, so you could cast an intelligence buff to be smart enough to cast a second, better intelligence buff).

Anyway, in D&D terms, they're usually Enhancement bonusses, and the same type of bonus doesn't stack.

You could, however, create a slew of different epic spells that give +Intelligence bonusses of different types... like Insight, Luck, Morale, Sacred, Profane, Circumstance, Competence, or whatever. Since as long as it's a different type of bonus, it stacks.
>>
>>51972238
>epic spells
Now I want to take Infinity and design quick and easy Mythals A lot of their difficulty comes from the duration.
>>
>>51972467
As it turns out the superpower drugs may not have been the best idea. I tried to do things that wouldn’t hurt people and weren’t technically illegal because they didn’t previously exist. Sadly people are much more creative than I gave them credit. Sure there were people who used enhanced charisma and intelligence to improve their lives, but there were also people who used them to plan robberies or screw people over.

Anyways I got in trouble with the government in a different way. They wanted what I could do… badly. They offered me enough money to buy my own private island if I would come to work for them and tried to leverage my less than legal activities against me (and snowflame) apparently they thought his super powers were my doing.

Snowflame decided he wanted to fight them so he got unsummoned for a bit. So I decided it was time to move on, disappear, take my earnings and get the hell out while I could.
>>
>>51972434

>>
>>51972477
This is pretty cool. How big can they be (assuming a reasonable timespan to develop the spell)? Also, how much of a bonus is it in non D&D terms? I know that something like 18 is pretty high, at least for humans, but is there a solid conversion or anything? What would an INT of 30 be like? Why do I have so many questions?
>>
>>51972337
For D&D, the fules are a bit complex.

The short answer is that you can only enhance intelligence, or any other attribute under D&D's system, so far, but you can enhance intelligence in different ways.

The following types stack, if multiple bonuses of the same type affect the same person, only the highest bonus counts:
Enhancement bonus can't go above a +6 for any attribute. They come from spells and magic items primarily.
You also have inherent bonuses, these do stack with enhancement bonuses and the other types, but are very expensive as you can only really get them throgh wish spells for really expensive tomes/manuals.
You can have alchemical bonuses, but these are never permanenet.
The best are untyped bonuses as they have no rules against them at all, are are also the rarest of all types. Certain unusual prestige classes can give untype attributes bonuses, and I think grafts can do that too, not counting as magic items.

The rules change when you go epic, with the cap increasing for enhancement bonuses to +12, becoming increasingly expensive along the way.

Hope this is useful.
>>
>>51972480
That is an amazing use for Infinity.
You can do amazing things with Mythals.
Like the Netherese, they made a field projected arond a mythal that powered any magic item made to work with it. In game terms they only had to spend the cost of materials and time to make, but no experience, allowing them to make and experiment more with magic items than anyone else could.

I think that it would be a really good way to upgrade your warehouse, also.

Well, they can be as big as you like as long as you still retain the ability to hit the DC. Every point of Intelligence add +2 difficulty to roll to cast it, as well as 18,000 gold coins in cost to develop it, and 0.36 days spend researching it.

>Also, how much of a bonus is it in non D&D terms? I know that something like 18 is pretty high, at least for humans, but is there a solid conversion or anything?
Well, Intelligence 18 is basically the smart humans of history already. Someone with an Int of 30 would be ridiculously superhuman.

...But no, there's no solid conversion.

No clue exactly how smart someone like that would be. Intelligence is vague at the best of times, even before you start comparing it to arbitrary numbers.

Well, the reason Infinity in specific is probably asked about and talked about so much is because it's less straightforward and more flexible than most other things in the jump. I mean, Something like Combo Star adds 100 tons to each punch, not much else to it. If you recall, there was nearly as much talk about The Next Generation. Though it's hardly a "must-buy", and it makes sense why someone wouldn't take it when it's 1200 CP, no matter how good it is.
>>
>>51972584
>That is an amazing use for Infinity.
Infinity has a lot of utility with D&D or any system with defined spells.
Like the 6 attribute buff spells, a deflection bonus spell, a armor bonus spell, a flight spell, these things you can cast on others go from lasting minutes to being permanent blessings. A shocking grasp spell, and more

weapon enchantment, clothing enchantment, and natural weapon enchantment spell in the cleric/druid lists. A freaking FAST HEALING Spell.
You can for no resources but time give permanent magical power armor.

Hell, a few casts of that Guards and Wards spell makes a good poor mans mythal

Wait, what?

Location: 6. Era of light and dark.

Origin: Drop-in
Age: 18
Race: Gerudo, rito mask (850)
- I feel.. Oddly compelled to take rito, almost like it would come in handy later.

Perks:
Rounded thinking
survival training (750)

Blessing of shadows (500)
- Time to never do any sudoku puzzles ever again.

Mimic (300)
- You are rubber, I am glue. Everything you throw at me sticks, so I can retreat, copy that attack, and fucking destroy you.

Items:
2 adventurer bags (250)
Potion package (150)
Pegasus boots (50)
Clawshot (-100)

Horse (-200)
- I can figure out how to ride a horse.
Probably.

Drawbacks:
Silent protagonist (-100)
- Sometimes I wish I could shut up. This is great.
Excuse me, princess (0)

My jump could be described in two words:
Dungeon looting. Due to my newly found energy, I spent a truly obsessive amount of time adventuring all around the world, finding all sorts of treasure (and trash) to fill my warehouse.

Best of all, though, was the stuff I made.
Behold, the whaler claw (patent pending) a pair of clawshots made to shoot harpoons at something mph, then pull you in toward whatever you shot to probably hit it in the face. Whoever you hit with it is not going to have a good day.

Really, this jump was pretty simple. didn't have to face a giant god monster, just faced a few boss monsters and got loot.

Infinity would let your entire repertoire hang around, though I'd recommend acquiring protection from Disjunction...

Anyway, from my memories of DMM Chameleons, you'd be looking at something like a +10 (at *least*) to every stat by mixing bonus types. AC going up to the 60's. Immunity to almost everything, from nonmagical weapons to magical weapons to divination. Constant auras of fear, hope, regeneration, etc. A few dozen powerful innate magical attacks. Shapechange at-will.

Plus there's a couple of spells whose effects increase over time, but usually only last a few rounds...
>>
>>51972147
If you hate the popular stuff then why did you get The Next Generation? There's been more talk about that than Infinity.
>>
>>51972884
If it weren't for a lack of rules for things bigger than collossal+ advanced red dragons could concievably do it.
>>
>>51972961
There are rules in Dragonmech. Pretty cool stuff in that, city-mechs live up to the name.

>Plus there's a couple of spells whose effects increase over time, but usually only last a few rounds...
Oh?
>>
>>51972547
>What would an INT of 30 be like?
Minimum stat for a god that has intelligence as his thing. Divine salient abilities with attribute requirements normally have a requirement of 29 in a stat. The "Your intelligence is so great you get bonus spells of 10th level and higher" divine ability gives a 10th level spell at Int 30, a 11th level spell at Int 32, etc.

The ability to Alter Reality (basically pull any non epic spell out your ass on a whim, including Miracle & Wish equivalents) needs Charisma 29 to have it.

>>51972983

http://alcyius.com/dndtools/spells/spell-compendium--86/creeping-cold--4256/index.html

The fluff for it is rather stupid, given that it can be used on things that don't sweat, or even contain water.

>The ability to Alter Reality (basically pull any non epic spell out your ass on a whim, including Miracle & Wish equivalents) needs Charisma 29 to have it.
Any way to get that without ending your chain?
>>
>>51972977
Well it looks like that's something that won't need to be fanwanked as hard anymore.
It's not like D&D jumps run on total game mechanics, but that's certainly some justification for doing it.

Mine was similar. I was a Three Headed Dragon, with 3 breath weapon abilities of, comfortable in 3 biomes based off the FF Fire/Ice/Lit trio and the Trigon from BoF III.

It was... expensive. Getting it, the Archipelago, and importing companions took taking every listed disadvantage.

Wish Granting from Fate/ Stay Night - Realty Nua. Besides that, maybe learn some tricks from Raistlin while you're in Krynn.
>>

A few ways. The rule in some of the D&D jumps that end your chain if you become a god _during_ the jump obviously doesn't apply after the jump, so...
>>
>>51973066
Maybe try getting divine rank in a non forgotten realms D&D setting.
The limit on getting rank there is saving you from making a horrible mistake.
Gods need prayer badly there or they poof.

It would be mostly fanwank in how you managed to get that rank, but it's not an impossiblitie.

>Get the item from JLD or Lost Odyssey that give endless mana
You can now arbritraliy will anything into existence and have it last for eternity.
>>
>>51973173
No you'd need the cosmic cube from the avengers for infinite storage and lost odyssey skill linking to get infinite personal capacity.
Then you'd want some way to top off. Fate/extra has the fountain which should work.
That's how you get enuff energy for what you want.

Those two other items are limited by time and the ambient mana in the area respectively. They wouldn't have enough juice for really big works.

You'd also need some kind of magic system that can actualy do what you want. Wish granting just forgoes actual spells. It can't do things a magic system couldn't theoretically already do.

Fallout: better weapon tech
Overwatch: better everything else

I'd say they're more or less equal on medical tech- both have the ability to fully transplant people into cyborg/robotic bodies and to heal people from massive trauma. Both can also play merry hell with genetics- Mercy's revival tech and the FEV experiments/mutations are pretty crazy.
>>
>>51973304

Arbitrary capacity anon, as in a mana pool that is never really full because it can always hold more.

Sorry, I'm not trying to argue. Just curious because I remember Taek eating his friends to get strong enough to eat the Key. >>51973353
Ah yeah, that. I only read part of it and it was a long time ago.
>>
>>51973376
I'd say that "unlimited" would be a better term for it. There's a finite amount in there at any one time, but that amount can be arbitrarily large. Though if we had any perks that just fully refilled your mana pool, then it would become infinite. And since infinity minus anything is also infinity, it would never drop. Do we have any perks like that? If so, could be an issue.

Build a mana generator. Get the perk from Storm Hawks that lets you build energy generators for any kind of energy, then just build a huge mana reactor.

If you want to get creative, build one near a sun and use some sort of portal tech to dump the energy directly into some sort of cybernetic mana capacitor attached to your magical core or whatever.

Rinse and repeat for any other sort of energy you might need.

There's stuff "wrong" with it, but not enough to make it unusable.
I'd rather it weren't written like a dry shopping list and if Immortality weren't obviously the best choice due to how much good shit it gets for free and the unlimited extra lives.

I'm not the guy you're asking by the way, he's got site tribalism issues, but the jump could have done with some fine tuning. I suppose that's just the SJ-chan way though.
>>
>>51973407
There's a potion in Overlord that instantly fills your mana pool no matter how big.

There's also the Dragonheart from FSN that will always fill your pool full within a day no matter how large. No idea how that would interact.
>>
>>51973066
>Any way to get that without ending your chain?
A "lets make a deal" perk with a god that has it, offering them some OCP thing(s) they think is worth the trade off. And possibly including giving the power back if you can dupe it somehow.

Something like Greed from God of Highschool. Considering trying it on something to powerful gives you vomited sludge instead of powers, have a lot of personal power, and target some divine rank one demigod with the power if you can find one.
>>
>>51973407
We have items that top you off for everything.
Those would do it.

There's also a perk in FFTA that fills your mana pool in one minute if you aren't doing anything else.

Well, then, that has some terrifying implications. And as people have noted, there are other ways to get an unlimited storage capacity. So, uh, I think we broke the game. Not saying anyone's wrong for doing so, just wondering what the point would even be.

I think Generic Xianxia has one cheaper. for magical/spiritual energy pools.
>>
>>51973504
The basis of this combo has been around for a while actually. The only thing new is Infinity really.
Thing is there's more to jumping than power. Getting to meet people, doing new things, seeing how interactions between different settings work.
There's plenty left to do even if you can willwork.

Just be Q if you're strapped for ideas.
>>
>>51973510

>>
>>51973523
No. There's actually no Divine Rank prerequisite for Divine Abilities. A DR 1 god could get Alter Reality, they'd just be unable to keep a god of higher DR from undoing anything they did.

>>
>>51973557

>>
>>51973557

>>
>>51973252
>Myrkul, the one who built the Wall
I think Klemvor tried to bring the wall down, but had to bring it back to prevent Bad Stuff. The one in charge of the Metaphysics is Ao. That is who you need to gank.
>>
>>51973571
>There's plenty left to do even if you can willwork.
I guess. But what I'm saying is why keep it in the context of Jumpchain, then? Like, a real jumper, if they existed, would keep jumping after getting this combo. But for me, here in the real world imagining being a jumper, what's the point of imagining that specific scenario anymore? I might as well just imagine any scenario I want, because Jumpchain is no longer a valid context for what my imaginary self could do. It offers no limits to direct my imagination. So no, for the sake of real-me, jumper-me can't take that combo.
>>
>>51973504
I mean, there are still plenty of threats to you even with "infinite" magic. The multiverse is a scary place, anon.
>>
>>51973602
>Thing is cosmic cube does every kind of energy so it's better for this kind of thing
Is also 600 CP.
Why IS it so expensive, anyway? I mean a rechargeable Duracell with infinity capacity does not sound that impressive by itself.
Does it let you use the stored energy to just DO stuff by wanting it to happen like with a real cosmic cube?
>>
>>51973525
I'm assuming not, but would HSDW be something you could transfer with TNG? I know Magic Circuits and a lot of special abilities in Type Moon are somewhat genetic.
>>
>>51973504
Just because you have an unlimited storage capacity doesn't mean that you can get the spells off fast enough to kill whatever's trying to kill you.
>>
>>51973620
>I think Klemvor tried to bring the wall down, but had to bring it back to prevent Bad Stuff.
He had to bring it back because all the 'good' and evil gods of Faerun teamed up and told him that if he didn't put it back, they'd go whine to Ao until he took away Kelemvoor's powers.

It's not omnipotence dude. You're still limited by what magic systems can already do even if you can strip out durations. You also still need to cast things. It's not an automatic problem solver. Sure with a little foresight it might as well be but it's no worse than having perfect precog running all the time.

If you really need more limitations to come up with what you're doing then I suppose you shouldn't take the combo, but it's not like there's no reason to keep things in a jumpchain context. At the very least it's a good excuse to finally do one of those end jumps eh?
>>
>>51973777
I'd say no. Magic Circuits would but I don't believe HSDW relies on biology in that manner.

Mundane physical energy, actually.
Inheritance magic is weird in that it runs on the exact same energy that you use to move your body and pick shit up.

(Wow someone put an incredible amount of effort in to this jump I’m impressed)

Well since Jumpchan suggested I stay out of the plot here I decided that I would get my band going again. It was a strange world and the life of a celebrity can be rather interesting.

However things took a strange turn when Korban and Lelu came to one of my shows. By that time they had gotten quite famous and were celebrities. They got a back stage pass to my concert so I got to meet them. Unfortunately some corporation chose that time to abduct Lelu. Apparently they wanted to study her genetics and the power that she possessed.

Anyways I tagged along with Korban trying to help, he picked up on that I wasn’t just some empty headed singer pretty quickly. I was trying to keep a low profile and not use any powers. It’s a bad habit to try and resolve everything with time stop or things like that.

We managed to track them down, keep the firefights to a minimum, make our way in to the corporate headquarters after “encouraging” one of the higher ups to help us get in. We fought our way through some elite guards. The Junior executive who we forced to help us tried to stab us in the back summoning some guard robots. Things did not turn out well for him. We made our way to the labs and saved Lelu. I am pretty sure I left Korban baffled as to what I was (whether I was Special Forces, some super soldier, a ninja or whatever) anyways everything turned out for the best.

Infinity sounds like you can turn it off and let the normal duration play out, and that's it, but any other spell effects play out as normal. So if you actually had Elsa level Winter control to add or dismiss in parts you could still do it. Or If it was a Spell like Prismatic Wall where components can be dispelled individually, you could.

So I could use some more suggestions on jumps to roll for I need about 6 and any extra if I get them will be put in reserve. Here is an obscenely long list of jumps I have already taken http://pastebin.com/MR60FhSt. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

So... how bad an idea is this

I've jumped DBZ, as a saiyajin. I'm now jumping Dwarf Fortress, and for 100cp I can import a race.

I feel like this is a dangerous thing to do, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

>Bad Kid as an origin
Jumper is going to burn down the factory and eat the Oompa Loompas, you do realize this?

I mean that as a joke, but it also made me realize that "escaping karmic retribution" would make a really good perk for them, since one of the things in the story is that the factory gave them comeuppance that they weren't getting.

>Drawback where you have to take care of a bedridden sick relative who can walk just fine as soon as something interesting is happening
>Drawback where you have no impulse control
>Might be a bit too meta, but a drawback where you think giving a gobstopper to that guy is an alternate victory condition, but doing so actually means you fail

People might disagree with this, but I also kind of want the ending to say you're ineligible to inherit the factory, unless you choose to stay, because you have too much wanderlust for the business side of things. However, they're very interested to see what extraordinary things you found if you ever stop by again. Offering a factory for CP is totally cool, however.

It lets you talk to the gods. And when you pray for stuff, you're more likely to get it cause they like you.

It is a bit lackluster and I still need to fix that.

Also races. Fuck races.

Previously,
>Now let's see what Jump-chan meant...
Now back to the 'chain.

Anon's bizarre jumpchain #8:
Wind Waker
- ...Oh.

Location: 1. Outset Island
- Guess i'm joining the plot.

Origin: Child of water
Age: 17

Perks:
Under a barrel (900)
High definition (800)
Life on the waves
Seagulls
Potion maker (700)
Bombardier (600)
- Combine the two above perks, boom (literally). chemical weaponry.
Knight's crest (400)
Royal's wisdom (100)
- Dragon balls?
...That may be the best or most horrifying thought I've ever had.

Blue fairy (-50)
Pirate Crew 3x (-150)

Mary (Child of legend)
Perks: Under a barrel, Time tested, unconventional fighting, hero's courage
- I'm a little jealous that Mary's being such a great hero.

Dal (Child of none)
Perks: Grassy goods, High definition, Sage's lament, Talking is a free action

Tale (Child of darkness)
Perks: I envy the wind, dead man's volley, Castle guards, Conqueror's power
-And Tale, our slightly evil teammate.
Eh, i'm sure we'll be fine.

Items:
gossip stones
Regal necklace
valoo scale (-300)
-Taking in case my rito selection in the first loz jump didn't have wings. If it did, give it to someone else.

Boat: Bigger boat, warship, Talking figurehead (-500)

Drawbacks:
Stealth mission (-200)
- I can do perfectly fine without weapons, I've got the strength of the anti-guy!

Smarter monsters (0)
- Kicking a bomb back at you?
Sounds like they're still a little stupid.

For the second time in a row, we got involved in the main story. Helped Link again, and showed up at Ganon's gates with an army of our own:
all the enemies Tale convinced to join our side.

Needless to say, we beat him.

After that, we did what we did best, being charming rogues and looting treasure, although their was that month when we had to go on a quest to knock some sense into Tale.

Now that we're done with that triforce of jumps, it's time to move on from the legend of zelda permanently.
Well, maybe not permanently. Still have the return, don't I?

>hackable
Infinity has a perk that lets you program things to be unhackable.

>can't get wet
Most cybernetic are already built for protection against that. It's not hard to make something water proof, it just costs more so most don't bother with it for appliances.

>Also, how do Ghost in the Shell limbs compare to Overwatch limbs?

GitS allows more weird options, but Overwatch seems sturdier, faster, and slightly tougher.
GitS might be stronger, but neither can reach up to even MCU Captain America in terms of raw power. If you want strength, you're have to look somewhere else.

You mean the Vermicious Knids? They shouldn't be a problem because Wonka fought them in a space ship, and Knids cannot enter Earth because they burn up in the atomsphere trying to enter it. I should know since I loved The Great Glass Elevator as a kid. The hypothetical gauntlet shouldn't worry about them.
>>
Which is worse?

Setting something to cost 1000 cp with a mandatory drawback for no points - thus lessening the available options to get extra points from - or setting it to 1300 with the mandatory drawback, thus artificially lowering the drawback cap?
>>
>>51974820
I somehow missed this question.

Ebberon would be absolutely awesome.
Baldur's Gate would be fun just to hang with some of the cast.
A Jump centered around the Underdark would be terrifying, but ten years of cave explorer can't be knocked.
>>
>>51975193
Anyway, trying to cut this write-up short.

So, I was found by a very nice couple, who noticed my talent with magic. They suggested to me that I enter “Wish Granter” school. I learned it was a school for, well, professional “wish granters” like a “fairy godmother” in general. Long story short, after a year or two, I had excelled so well that I ended up becoming the court mage of Prince Lewyn. I was his personal wish-granter.

Long story short, he ended up running away and me and Domon had to run after him to go retrieve him. I discovered him and Dhaos chilling (like villains) together. Turns out they were buddies. Still, I had to go pull him back. I grumbled and decided to help Lewyn rule, yet again. He lost all his character development with his amnesia. So I had to help him be a good king again and kick all the corrupt noble’s asses.

Along the way we just fell in love again after that whole mess was cleared up, since he learned I volunteered to go with Domon and find him. Which made him a lot more receptive to being my friend in general. And then he kissed me on our third date. No dramatic story to it or anything.

First is better. You don't really "get" the points in either case, either because you don't get any points or because the points are absorbed by the cost of the perk, but the first one lets you take more drawbacks if you so choose.

I think it works on anything within visual range, so no detecting or commanding hidden technology. However you could probably connect to things like drones or robots, send them outside your visual range and still command them.

Aside from commands, whenever you connect to something you can figure out how to improve or fix it.

Web surfing would only be possible if you had some kind of cybernetic augmentation that let you directly link to computers.

44. Overwatch
Age: 24, Role: Support, Alignment: Hero, Species: Human
Location: Route 66
Perks: Tracer Booty, Cavalry's Here, We're Gonna Do Great, Hello Hello, Walk In Harmony, Experience Tranquility, Let's Break It Down, Guardian Angel
Items: Suit

A temporary build, probably, but the setting really works for my final companion. I'm not sure if this jump has a drop-in option or not, but I'm going to say I'm rolling as one anyway. Also, the items are great, but I want to stay away from anything hackable and that apparently includes a hook on a chain. I'm just going to stick to my mystical powers.

Anyway, the biggest hero in my posse is Chesnaught. He makes a habit of it too. Getting into people's business and wrecklessly helping them out. If I'm heavily involved with the protagonists, it's usually his fault. So, when he saw a gorilla protecting a pixie-woman from a purple sniper and a ghost with a shotgun, he immediately jumped in alongside the gorilla. This just keeps happening everywhere we go and what choice do I have but to help a friend? That he can keep up is mostly thanks to his stand, Harder Better Faster Stronger, which can reinforce the properties of things. It can't add anything new, but he doesn't really need to. He's a tank with self-healing and trapping ability as his base.

Chesnaught is as non-judgmental as he expects others to be, and doesn't really bother with lying to people. He only uses a human form when people start freaking out about there being an armored bear hanging about and how it refuses to stop talking about it's pin collection. When he told Winston the truth nigh-immediately there was only like 10 seconds of awkwardness, and then a slew of questions that none of us had any ability to answer. "A goddess did it" "Yes, really" "Okay, so a being capable of rewriting reality on a whim, presenting itself as female" "She says bad things happen because we live in an infinite multiverse and some universes are funnier than others"

Cthulhu stuff for you, BLADE.
600 cp - Save Point
This is basically an elixir the way it is written, and we already have those in places like Kingdom Hearts that respawn normally, only once per year is way out of line. How about you can create or dismiss a save point where you are standing, have up to ten save points total, and anyone allied to you can step in one and feel refreshed as if they had a healthy meal, a shower, and a good night sleep. And can 'load' another save to appear at that save point.
And if that is not enough they can be fully healed, with all power pools filled, ammo topped off etc, but someone can only benefit from this once a week.

>600 cp - Sharpe Induced Stabbing
This assumes you normally use magic, so going physical gets a 'super powered evil side' boost. Does it work the other way, where if you are more hands on physical, switching to magic get a 'super powered evil side' boost?

>100 cp - Insane Stat Boost
What are the stats CSTW has?
And I know they are unrelated, but I like how the max buff tops out at 40 insane people, and S&S has that group of 40 followers. Have your band of crazy cultists follow you around everywhere, wearing creepy robes and droning some eerie chant

>Spell Slash Slash
You mention swords, whips & tridents, does 'your fists' count as a valid weapon? Like punching someone into next Tuesday with time magic, or kicking someone into the next county with teleportation.

>400 cp - Come Forth
>summoning rituals for damn near anything.
Do a Sarda here. Make a spell that summons someones spleen. Not use on target to steal spleen, summon THAT GUYS spleen every time.

>400 cp - Potion
Also should just use nornal CP respawning times.

>400 cp - A Really Nice Chest
>anything still inside it at the end of the jump will be lost forever.
not sure why you added this, is it part of the game or something? Because other bags of holding to carry their contents from jump to jump starting with the very first one in pokemon

Look at what happened to the WW2 jump, people aren't allowed to make jumps set in a realistic world where you can be a nazi (unless you're Red).

There are. Avatar for example requires 6+ divine ranks. But Alter Reality itself does not. Probably because it lets even a new Rank 1 demigod pull off the god stuff pretty well by itself, and works for any incidental stuff a god needs to do that is not strictly possible by their stat sheet. Because there are enough D&D spells to get close to whatever they need to do.

600 cp - Sages Lament
Outside the curse of hatred, there are the sages. Before the great flood, there were seven - Light, Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, Spirit, and an unknown element wielded by the Princess herself. However, after the flood… There are only two sages left, those of Earth and Wind. You now posses a direct line of communication to one of the local gods, and their divine favor. Praying to them is not just a desperate plea for help from the masses, it’s you personally asking for it. You are, in effect, their favorite child.

Alright, hows this for a boosted sages lament?
>>
>>51975927

>>
>>51975999
4 Background is by FAR the norm.
German Citizen, German Soldier, and Party Member is three, Drop-in is the logical fourth.
It was a reasonable assumption that that was ALL of the origins.

I don't care if someone wants to add a Nazi option to a jump that has Nazis in it. Go for it, it represents the setting and I approve of that. But don't make every option German and call it a "WW2 jump". Call it a "WW2:German Front" jump or something, sure, then it's fine. And later make Russian/American/British/etc jumps with options focused on them. Cool as hell.
But don't advertise a jump as one thing, then focus entirely on just a single part of the setting.

That's not really a setting. I suppose you could do a generic, but what is and isn't HFY is poorly defined so that would be incredibly difficult to do well.

Just jump Avatar or Mass Effect and play up being human really hard.
It'll give you the same effective experience.

If you make it a 'Realm of Madness' or whatever it was called jump I'm game.

You know, the one where humans were smack dab in the corner of the galaxy where everyone else got a case of the lovecrafts and went nutss?
