Jumpers, did you save Bob Ross? Did you companion/pod him? Did you show him the wonders of the multiverse and listen to his soothing voice while he paints them?

So, what are your Post-spark plans Jumpers?

I guess I could open an 80th-dimensional hospital in order to tread the cosmic bad taste in everything.
>>
>>51200836
To expand on that:

Did you ever companion a real-life person?
>>
>>51200896
Stroll through the multiverse, destroying or sealing beings of pure evil and Lovecraftian entities. Get tea and scones at that cool little place.

> Have Animorph's My Name Is Jake
> Deneb attempts to hijack my body
> ...

> "Uh. Konata? I'm stuck."
> "Wow, sucks for you, huh?"

I might say that's canon.

>>51200899
In my way back original build for Youtube, I companion'd Arin Hanson. But eventually I decided that: 1) It felt creepy writing about a real life person who wasn't dead, and 2) I like Arin too much to force him to put up with my bullshit. He seems like a nice guy.
So I retcon'd that.

I do have a couple "not quite" celebrities, though. Like, Genie from Disney Princess (who I call "Dan"), or Vincent Van Ghoul from Scooby Doo (who I call "Mister Price").
Vincent hates it when I call him that.

>>51200896
First thing I'm gonna do is take a nap. For like two weeks.
After that, I'm probably gonna build some underground doom fortress somewhere in the wilds of Australia, and THEN I'm gonna figure out a way to link up all my research stations from across the multiverse onto one channel, so that I can keep in touch with them.
Then I'll probably run back and forth between dimensions for a bit, grabbing all the easy paths to ultimate power that were barred from me the first go around, y'know, like absorbing Adam and Lilith in NGE, which will more than likely be a small drop in the bucket compared to a spark, but it will grant more ease of lateral abilities, y'know?
And after that... I'll probably sit on my ass and watch anime.
>>
>>51201010
>It felt creepy writing about a real life person who wasn't dead
There's a very simple solution to that.
>>
This build any more suicidal then the last one?

Did you get the Adaptanitor thingy from Princess Bride? It might be the best item of all jumpchain.
>>
Now there's a thought from the last thread -

Would YJ Power Combination work to combine Infernals and Creepypasta Pocket Dimensions?
>>
>>51201059
It has all the same problems as the last one, only now everyone comes back one day later and you can't kill the Masters and Gilgamesh and future you will just spam Ea at you. Still dead, only not dead ten times over.
>>
>>51201072
I totally did! That, and SCP-914's 1-for-1 setting have given me endless hours of entertainment.
For that matter, I have the Interdimensional Cable box from Rick & Morty, and of COURSE I set that up with a multi-channel recording device. Which synergies great with the other two!
I have so much media of every possible type, you don't even know! And only 30% of it devolves into porn!
>>
>>51200896
Firstly I'll distribute some of my older tech to family and friends on Earth. Nothing too powerful, just stuff like a watch that can activate a personal forcefield when they're in danger. Then I'll stay on Earth setting up all my companies, businesses and research labs to run autonomously and keep an eye on my loved ones. If I feel that they won't react badly to it I'll tell certain people what has happened to me and offer them the chance to move to one of the worlds or even come join me on my journey. Once either all of my loved ones die of old age or the ones remaining are coming with me I'll leave Earth, occasionally visiting to see how my stuff is going and to download a new archive of the internet (in case I manage to find a world that came from media that only existed after I left Earth)

>>51200899
Lewis, Simon and TB from the Magicka jump (so they have all the memories from up to making the Magicka vids, but now thye're actually wizards). They were very helpful when I did the Youtube jump but otherwise I mostly left them to do their own things (which meant they had free housing in whatever I imported but other than making sure the businesses had employees, they were free to have their own adventures).
>>
>>51201059
I think you get a Servant as well.
>>
>>51201167
>not giving all your loved ones deathlessness immediately
why do you hate them so much?
>>
>>51201129
>Can't kill the Masters
?

>Future you will just spam Ea at you
Implying future me would be any more willing to take a dunk in the evil mud.

>Gilgamesh
That is problematic, but I have two things going in my favor.

1. I'm pragmatic as fuck. No long-ass gloating speeches for you Kingy.

2. I have most of his abilities, and can copy the ones I don't with UBW. In short, a fight between the two of us would probably result in a long enough short stalemate that I can run away.

Also, didn't Sakura digest him because he couldn't be tainted, and was about to take over the mud?
>>
>>51201244
Do you even read the drawbacks you take?
>>
>>51201244
Echo, did you read what Black is the New Black does? Because it doesn't seem like you have going by your comments here.
>>
>>51201244
With Black is the New Black killing the masters does nothing. Future you didn't have a choice, you picked drawbacks that make it so.

Also, Future You is way better than you at everything. It also has more mana to throw around, so it can flat out overpower you.

Read the notes, particularly the one that says some combos of drawbacks may be unbeatable depending on your other jumps, of which you have none.
>>
>>51201332
This is the guy thats king almighty of gilgamesh wank. I wouldn't be surprised if he hadn't read any of the drawbacks and was just assuming he wins because 'muh gilgamesh-sama' and 'muh ea'.
>>
>>51201235
1, most of my family are assholes
2, Immortality is both a gift and a curse (how many normal people would want to see everyone they know and love die, have to change identities every 20 years and never have children because they'll outlive them?) so unless I know that they won't go crazy with it, I won't give it to them
3, If they come with me they'll be technically immortal until they leave (I have enough items and magic to keep them from aging or being affected by poison and disease)
4, If they choose to go to another world I'll lower their age with the life fruit, remove any plot problems (moon crashing into Vvardenfell, etc.), set them up with an identity (genetic modifications and/or training included if they need them to access the world's supernatural powers), job, house and a way to contact me if they need to. I'll also leave a shadow clone to secretly watch and protect them, as well as personally visiting at least once a year so I can hang out with them.
>>
>>51201356
deathlessness with an opt-out option obviously
>>
>>51201356
Any reason you're not giving eternal youth to everyone on earth?
>>
>>51201300
Yes?

>>51201332
1. Keeps Servants prana filled.
2. All Servants that would have been in the war are infected.
3. Resurrects them a day after death.

>>51201344
>Future you didn't have a choice
Upon further review of the drawbacks, you do have a point.
>>
>>51201410
Any reason why I should?
If I'm an immortal being that just came back from a jumpchain, I wouldn't care about this Earth over the thousands of others I've been to. The only reason I wouldn't be leaving this one immediately is because I care for my family. Without them I'd only use this planet as a storage facility, internet archive downloader and maybe a market testing ground for the non-deadly things I make.
>>
>>51201442
So let's look at this. Gilgamesh, the enemy one, can now spam Ea against you. He's crazy hyper aggressive and has no reason to ever hold back. He also has all the other Servants running meat shields while he spams Enuma Elish at you and future you there doing it as well and they're working together well because you also took Centre Stage. And even if you SOMEHOW manage to not die instantly from them all, they'll be back the next day. And you have top level magi coming after you too the whole time.

How are you not dead again? Oh right, you are dead.
>>
>>51201410
Who the fuck wants you assholes to live forever?
>>
>>51201471
Any reason you shouldn't give eternal youth to all sapient beings throughout the multiverse?

To expand this:

Strengthen your power in your territory:
>Head Bitch in Charge (F/SN)
>Fisher King (Merlin BBC and Arthur King)
>This is my swamp (Shrek)
These three are tricky, mostly because you have a limited radius of influence. Although this limitation can also be overcome by fucking with space enough.
>Chinjugami (Mononokehime)
>Yorishiro (Chihiro)

More realm perks/bringing people into your realm:
>Ouroboros perk tree from Siren: Blood Curse.

You might also have your companions populating through your dimension by making the The House of Mystery (Justice League Dark) the heart of your realm.
>>
>>51201486
Alright, point has been made.

>>51201178
I would like Valeria's input about this before I do anything.
>>
>>51201073
IIRC Power Combination can only be applied to combinations of "powers" from the Young Justice jump. Not out-of-jump powers or perks.
>>
>>51201140
>SCP-914's 1-for-1 setting have given me endless hours of entertainment
sorry I don't get how that works
do you put a dvd in it and get a different dvd out?
>>
>>51201580
It's not just drawbacks, you don't read perks too? try actually reading the whole demiservant perk retard
>>
>>51201586
That's definitely wrong. For example, I remember YJ Anon making an example out of combining Avada Kedavra and singing powers for the last song anyone will ever hear.
>>
>>51201615
So I can combine Avada Kedavra and a beauty perk to instantly kill anything that looks at me?
>>
>>51201624
Beauty is not a power, though.
>>
>>51201636
Supernatural levels of beauty are every bit as much a power as super strength. Just look at the beauty perk in the Skullduggery Jump.
>>
>>51201580
Demi-Servant is an addition. It doesn't replace the Servant you get for free as a Master.
>>
>>51201646
If that's the case, then does the Servant also get 1000 SP?
>>
>>51201650
How are you this stupid
>>
>>51201591
Probably? You get something of equal value, with examples being a block of steel turning into screws and a cell phone turning into a different make and model, so a different dvd is the most likely result, but it's SCP so I won't guarantee anything.
>>
>>51201644
...Alright, maybe. But I feel like we'll need to wait for YJ Anon to boop someone's stupid head here.
>>
>>51201650
Yep. You get a free Servant with 1000sp for free as a Master. It's an addition to your build that won't cost anything.
>>
How hard will be to take out Avalon from Emiya? I have Use any Item from Overlord and it would be shame to leave such nice Artifact in hands of 3rd rate magus.
>>
>>51201624
If you can find an activable beauty power, then why not. Look of Death. Mortal Beauty. Something like that. But it would have to be limited to one target, as Avada Kedavra is.
>>
>>51201615
My bad. I see it's any three supernatural abilities.

>>51201591
Yeah, basically?
SCP-914 has five settings (although there is a hypothetical sixth setting).
There's "Rough", "Coarse", "1-for-1", "Fine", and "Very Fine".
You put an object inside, hit the setting you want, turn it on, and get a new thing based on the setting.

Rough is mostly useless, as it appears to do nothing except carve up the object in question in a random fashion through some kind of high intensity heat laser. Objects placed through it have alternatively come out carved apart into multiple sections.
Coarse appears to turn things into their base components. A watch will be disassembled, blocks of minerals will be seperated into their base elements, etc.
1-for-1 replaces the object with a similar object. "Similar" is somewhat determined by the SCP's "whims", but is usually correlating. A book turns into a different book. A chair turns into a different chair. A person turns into a different person (of different height, weight, etc, and with none of the memories of the original).
Fine and Very Fine are most interesting, as they tend to create an "enhanced" version of the original object, which is great for reverse engineering. There is no known limit to this capability, but as the enhancements become greater so too does their danger and instability. It is not safe to perform excessive repetitions without precautions in place. "Very Fine" goes higher than "Fine", but has a higher rate of instability. Biological entities have always come out hostile.
>>
>JUMPER Drawback
>Jumper takes Fifth Magic
>Jumper kills their future self by burning up such an obscenely huge amount of time that the universe ends before JUMPER can travel back in time
I get that, barring some extreme edge case of broken out of jump combos, it's not going to be possible to advance quickly enough in skill to do this, but it's still a horrifying thought and an interesting solution.
>>
>>51201736
>Biological entities have always come out hostile.
I still wanna put a chimp in it. Just to see what happens.
>>
>>51201719
Summoning a Saber servant and taking it from his corpse when he dies to Lancer at the beginning of the story is the easiest method. Otherwise you just need to chop off his hand (to stop the command seals from activating), pin him down, knock him unconscious, forcefully using your magic to search his body and soul, and take it from him.
>>
>>51201736
so do you think it would "invent" new media? or would it just replace your anime with a broadly similar anime that already exists?
also what would an unstable and dangerous anime look like?
>>
>>51201785
http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/bioflex/2861339?snl=1
>>
>>51201822
... Kind of want to put Gurren Lagann though on very fine and see what comes out now.
>>
>>51201774
It can invent entirely new media. the Foundation's experiment with that. Though SCP 914 is rather whimsical, and possibly sapient, so there are good chances it would take the opportunity to fuck with you.
>>
>>51201822
Basically it'd be a dvd for the TV version of a Shaft anime. Unfinished scenes, storyboards, no OP/ED towards the end of the show, etc.
>>
So, this should be survivable at least. With A+ Charisma and a body gods would be jealous enough, It should be easy enough to convince others to work with me to take down JUMPER, and the Magus's are barely a threat.

I'd guess not? Having a pocket realm doesn't really seem like a power as such to me at least?

But maybe it'd get you the same amount of control over both dimensions?

>>51199065
>Sure. Mardukth's okayed the use of the Fourth Soul fan supplement of Heretical charms for modifying your Unwoven Coadjutor.
Only in so much that they are custom charms with interesting ideas though. Didn't really "okay" them specifically, aside from giving my opinion on one charm there.

Some parts of it work really well, some are pretty awesome, some don't really appear to work in my own opinion, and some I just don't really like aesthetically.

IIRC back in the day it was said that they gain personality traits based off of what stuff you buy with CP (and a little bit of fanwanking) but be someone else until one day "you" wake up with all of your memories, powers and items. Though until you leave that world or learn to properly manage your mind you will be more influenced by their memories than anything else from your true past.

>>51201885
unless you can get him to willingly give it up (which would require him knowing it exists and teaching him how to remove it) it would most likely cripple or kill him when you remove it (gotta love Fate/). Also, Saber would try to kill you if you took it since it is hers and you're not her master

Not a whole lot usually, but you can Shape stuff there like with Constructive Convergence of Principles.

Which basically means that if you spend five hours using your control over it to shape it into what you want (mechanically, rolling Willpower+Essence, so what you can get is dependant on your strength of will and how high your essence is), you can get some non-magical stuff.

> so do you think it would "invent" new media?
Oh, it definitely invents new media. That's what's great about it. It's an SCP, it prettymuch just does shit. The new media it creates isn't usually TOO strange, as far as jumpers go, but you just never know. 1-to-1 is always pretty benign, though.

You can find a big list of experiments performed with it over on the SCP website, specifically here:
http://www.scp-wiki.net/experiment-log-914
I always found it pretty interesting!

> also what would an unstable and dangerous anime look like?
At the worst end? Probably something memetic. Like, you watch it, and it takes over part of your brain and alters your behavior somehow, which is a recurring problem in its home universe. But 914 usually doesn't do shit like that.
More likely is the actual record device might interact strangely with the player, like you'd get some kind of super DVD that overloads the systems, or maybe it gives you a VR headset that puts you INSIDE the anime -- and if you die you die for real.
But those are pretty extreme examples! If you just ran it through Fine a couple times, you'd maybe just get the super developer's uncut edition with ninety six commentary tracks, or something equally silly.

It's best if you think of 914 as not actively malicious, but more... a fey definition of "playful".
It was originally created for entertainment, after all.

Do we have a way to get the mango without getting super traumatized?
>>
>>51201873
You can think of them any way you like.
I take the view that each one is a different person, but that is very similar to "me" in their outlooks and personality (barring any drawbacks or deliberate changes, naturally).

But if you plot the continuation of a jumper's consciousness using time as the x-axis and incorporation between egos as the y-axis, you will find that all consciousnesses inhabited by the jumper are part of the same event-time structure, and that any apparent disconnection between parts of the gestalt are in fact a product of the inability of humans to see more than 3D slices of a 4D object.

That's exactly what a 2-d representation would look like (but sideways. The x-axis should be horizontal, but it doesn't matter). Every origin my jumper has is a part of a greater whole, even if at any given point it looks like "me" and my origin are different. Shitty paint skills excused.

Taking a Sharingn without having one will keep it always active unless blocked with an eyepatch.
Taking a mangekyo without having one (your own mangeko) is the same.
If you have a mangekyo and take a close relative's (if you use the clan born discount then just swap eyes with Sasuke when he gets his Mangekyo) then yours upgrades to eternal and you can use the powers without going blind (there may also be an increase of power)
If both eyes have eternal mangekyo and you get the chakra from the SotSp then the left one turns into a Rinnegan with six tomoe which lets you use both rinnegan powers and your original sharingan powers

Mostly family members, friends and a load of alternate reality versions of myself.

I send versions of myself off because I figure that's probably how I ended up jumping in the first place so I might as well close the loop/spread across the omniverse like a virus.

It's not just a pocket realm. It is linked to you and responds to your needs.

Also, if you purchase it with Genius Loci, you basically fuse with the realm.

You can have multiple combinations as well.

You combine your Inner World with the two extra dimension, and use the Reality Marble to be able to externalize your Inner World.

Which is why I said the control over it could probably be combined. The realm itself doesn't seem like a power to me?

Inner World's more the ability to create and shape that world too.

>Also, if you purchase it with Genius Loci, you basically fuse with the realm.

Singular, non-scaling enemies. I can get behind that.
I kindof didn't go looking for them, mind. I figured they'd come to me. And they did! As expected.
What I wasn't expecting was for Fook Yu to be riding the Motherfucking T-Rex. Which is what actually happened.

So, uh. That kindof involved running away and taking potshots at them from a distance, because I don't really "do" fair fights. And if I say I'm fighting fair, then that just means I'm pretending.
Did you know? Tyrannosaurs can eat a LOT of goats.

Anyway, other than that? I mostly ran around capturing beasts and making potions. I had a lab in the sleepy village. It had a wi̴̶̧͢͡n̸̡d̸̷̡̗̥̼͎͢m̷͔͓̙͍͚͎̫̲̲̲̟̲̝̬̱͢͢i̸͚̦̮̬̣͉̳͕͕̩͈̩͈̬̦͕̞͞͝ͅͅ ̸̷̨ ̀͝͠
Huh.
Not sure what happened there.
Anyway, it was just a normal lab, connected to a house. I helped people grow crops with growth formulas and made some minions to do chores.

Lots of things to research, here!

Anytime I say, "Well, I want to do <x>, but I'm not sure HOW I want to do it?", I look at my picture of Eggman and ask myself, "How would HE do things?"
So, when I have no better way to do things, I always default to hammy antics, grandiose gestures, and robot armies.

Like the sailors don't say-old avatar in the morning, Jumper's warning.

They say on the first day in prison, you either make someone your bitch, or become someone's bitch-and the DC occult scene might as well be a prison yard for all the fucks the locals give. That's why risking everything so much earlier on was worth it-there's bigger bads out there who'd jump on weakness like sharks smelling blood.

But enough about that. Tim, meet Elaine Belloc, Michael Demiurgos' kid! Elaine, meet Tim! You guys are gonna get along great!

"..."

"You too, huh?"

"Yeah. You ever walk down the street looking at normal people, and realise how weird it is to think of them as normal people?"

"I...I thought I was the only one"

Kids these days.

Anyway, the point is-much like prison, the future here is looking bleak. I'm not even talking about humanity's /fascinating/ ascension into a posthuman singularities beyond science and magic, or just any old apocalypse.

I'm talking about the events of a certain sequel which SHOULD NOT EXIST.

So. Early in my stay here, the Devil came down to the Shinto afterlife looking for his wings. I met him along the road, looked him in the soul that he would know the truth of my warning and proposed an alliance. He told me to get out of his way, but I saw his fist clinch. I knew working with him wasn't going to be easy, but I kept at it with a few more timely warnings and now we're comparing notes on the creation and maintenance of new multiverses.

You'd think Lucifer and I would hate each others' guts because chaos and order, but-here's the thing. From my point of view, he's hardly-well, WILL hardly do anything wrong given he SAVES the trinity of realities he creates and tramples over other people messing up the natural order. For his part, I know when my reach will exceed my grasp; I'm under no illusions I could ever hope to control the whole place. I'm all too happy to share what I know of escaping into newly created, fateless continuums of existence and defying the inevitable if it means the actual horrors out there get stepped on.

Being outside Fate's no good without exercising it. A concession of sorts to the Lilim will be made, so the Basanos' play won't go unnoticed. The Jin En Mook will be thoroughly scrubbed out before our backs are turned on them. A certain cherokee descendent will be convinced to wish the amalgamate of wish-drunk old gods into something that can fit in a bottle instead of scrubbing it out.

Most importantly, Elaine and Tim will have more time to figure their place in the world. And defy the destinies placed before them.

The point being, that between me and the Morningstar's efforts we will defy the fate of all existence by...preserving their freedom. Either the Presence /is/ the unempathic but embarrassingly impotent villain the sequel makes him out to be. Or he is as advertised, and genuinely trying to create a situation that surprises him. But I have a Path to Heaven.

And with it, I'll take the Throne of God.

Such an act, some might say, would bind one irrevocably to the world.

Which is why I'm going to have to leave it all behind, while someone maintaing just enough of myself to control it. Fortunately I have...options for that. Like gathering part of my soul, and sacrificing it all into an especially independant jotun to be locked away here, overseeing a world in stasis.

Well, at least until I get my Spark.

Perhaps a fragment of the divine will resonate with my prior bond with another Presence, and reinforce my magic and nature a little. Perhaps Lucifer and I will have a bitter chuckle at the shared irony that despite everything, our winning condition is ultimately to walk away from the whole mess with nothing.

But when all's said and done, a daring duo of devil and demiurge will have made sure their kids will be able to choose their own adventures.

So, a god sends a hero on a quest to slay the demon lord, right? And he offers the hero immortality right at the start of the quest. The hero turns it down, because he figures, "fuck it, I don't want to outlive everyone, I'm just gonna kill the demon lord and come back home".
So he does that, and then in his final words the demon lord says, "But there is one even stronger than I... the GREAT DEMON LORD!"
So they go kill the great demon lord... and in his final words he says the words, "But there is one even stronger than I... the TRUE GREAT DEMON LORD!"
And this happens a hundred more times.
All in all it takes the hero something over twenty years to kill them all, and he's in his forties by the time he gets to the end, where it turns out the true great real ultimate power final true boss demon lord is actually the brother of the god who sent him on his quest, and it's basically a big game they're doing.

The brother is kindof put out that he has to get beaten up by an "old guy" who is in his forties. Asks him if maybe he wants to skip this one.
So the hero gets pissed off and declares he came this fucking far and he's going to finish the god damn job because fuck you god damn it, and then he spends like a year beating away at the brother, who nerfs himself so he'll have a fighting chance.

Then the hero finally wins and goes on a message board to complain.

This is where the drawback comes from, by the way.

Yep, as Curumo, his real name and his form before he was bound to that of an old man for the mission to Middle Earth. He's a Maiar serving Aule, the smith god, so he's big on crafting and creation. The one on the right is Mairon, aka Sauron back when he worked for Aule too, before the whole Morgoth thing. Though, Sauron isn't a name he's ever used for himself, it's a derogatory one come up with by the elves. He calls himself shit like "King Excellent" and other nerdy junk.

The artist has also done one of Olorin (Gandalf) that's angelic and very girly. Don't know if they did any of Aiwendil (Radagast) or Alatar and Pallando (the blue wizards.)

"Kinda". All of the Maiar are described as "beautiful" before some of them were Corrupted by Morgoth, and some are described as beautiful even after that.
But people like Saruman and Gandolf don't get more in-depth descriptions than that of their true Maiar forms. At least not to my knowledge.

So despite being fan-work it's "close enough" for as few details we get.

The Sauron ones are pretty on point though, and he gets much more in-depth descriptions.

Sha Nagba Imuru - The Omniscient Omnipotent Star
Rank : EX
Type : Anti-Unit
The mentality of the King of Heroes - which spread across all corners of the world as if the brilliance of the stars, seeing through all creation - sublimated into a Noble Phantasm. A continuously invoked-type Noble Phantasm. In regards to this work, the only Noble Phantasm he performs the release of True Name is the 「Gate of Babylon」.

The efficacy of the Noble Phantasm, Sha Nagba Imuru, is tremendous; not to mention the opponent's True Name and Noble Phantasm, it can even see through a heavily concealed truth with a single glance. Although it is in a condition of being continuously invoked, one can also assume that it is being intentionally restrained.

Changelog:
1.1 Grammar, Formatting
Fixed inconsistent pricing text for Animagic.
Changed Beta Demon to Free for Wizard, clarified it is limited to this jump, and changed
demonic transcription to a straight copy of the book series.

After thinking about it, the Wizard start is very dangerous for an early jump before you can slay demons and wipe the floor with weak wizards. Including the canon books would let someone thread the plot needle or get out of town early even if it was their first jump.

A wizard and his demon army besiege the school, they evacuate, the schoolmaster sets of a nuclear bomb as a farewell gift, and most fleeing students are decoys for his real getaway. Only the caravan with the plot characters is really safe, unless you skip out of school before the siege. Or join the besieger...whatever.

Everyone really starts as human. Demons and Saints / Avatars / Archons and even Gods come from humans / aliens / the material plane. As for becoming a saint or godly something, well, Orcus is considered by many to be a force of good, and is god like....but straight Tiernon sainthood is probally not possible.

Yes. They prefer an d'orc form, but they can shapeshift into regular demons with practice and training, and regular demons can shapeshift into them. There are regular non-demon orcs though. Their power levels as demons is about one tier higher than Fiends which are the most common demons.

That said, they are considered the second best warriors in the multiverse.

Any interest in a jump based on R. Scott Bakker's books? The Prince of Nothing, The Aspect-Emperor etc.

It's a dark fantasy/scifi epic with philosophical themes. It's pretty weird. Really powerful mental powers. Magic derives from philosophical principles. Lots of crusades and Armageddons.

If there are multiple systems of magic in a world, does the Slayer's Handbook detail all of them?
>>
>>51206079
Yes, shapeshifting is part of Demonic Nature that demons and d'orcs get free. D'Orcs by their nature don't give a shit and don't bother with disguises. There is a young one who was born after the fall of Orcus and had never seen the human worlds that decided to learn and shapeshift into a regular orc so they could go look around.

>>51206146
So is the perk to allow shape-shifting outside of the Demon/D-Orc alt-form? Can it do partial transformations?

It's an 80s hair metal band. It is also the worst 80s hair metal band. It's a copy of a clone of a ripoff of a rebranding of a band and genre. Winger was so horrible that it flew screaming past so bad its good into the legit so bad its bad category. Winger fans in the 80s and 90s had no legal rights, and if you were arrested or taken to court for doing anything untoward to them you could get off scott-free if you could produce evidence that they were in possession of Winger merch or music.

If someone was actually spotted wearing Winger gear, then an impromptu manhunt was enacted than inevitably ended in the brutal death of the Winger fan. This is phenomena is the basis for the Purge movies.

It was a different time.

The shapeshifting perk for humans lets you shapeshift into humanoids. For Demons/D'Orcs it lets you shapeshift into anything within the mass limit. With the shapeshifting perk you don't have to worry about memorization, concentration, or training. Without the shapeshifting perk you need a training montage to do that without worrying about being "shocked" out of it and ending up back in your base form naked.

Hoplite's Equipment
A full set of Hoplite's armor and weapons crafted by a master craftsman. This includes a shield, spear, helmet, greaves, and various other pieces of armor. As for weapons it includes a spear and short sword.
All of this equipment is of high enough quality it could be wielded by a strong demigod and take hits from the same for an extended battle.
If you were to enter a war with this equipment you would be considered a well equiped soldier.

Divine Chariot
A masterfully crafted chariot made by the forge God Hephaestus. It is hitched behind two immortal horses each one supernaturally swift and enduring. It is perfectly made for you and can be controlled with even the lightest of touches.
The true boon of this chariot however is that it can be hitched to almost any creature and pulled by them at their top speed.

A Lions Pelt
The pelt of a great lion which turned aside all blows turned into. This pelt cannot be pierced by all but the mightiest of gods. Large enough to cover a large man if it were to be worn as a cloak. Although it is almost impossible to pierce this cloak will do little to stop the actual force behind a blow so you can still be beaten to death by a sufficiently powerful enemy.

Commorragh is the home of the Dark Eldar, who literally sustain their life force with rape. And torture. And pretty much anything else they can think of that makes other people suffer. I took Born of Auschwitz, so I started out a Gillian manifestation of a bunch of tormented souls, who I partly beat into submission, partly placated via promising vengeance. So, y'know. That was fun. I ended up going to Germany and just tearing up huge amounts of shit as I collected "test subjects" and performed "experiments". I might have been channeling a bit of Rodyle from Tales of Symphonia, with just a dash of Desty Nova.
Who, incidentally, is one of my companions!
Desty, I mean.

Anyway, once I crammed my body down into a more suitable form, I took the form of a German Rex (which is a type of housecat, native to Germany). Of course, given the animal parts are just bones, everyone else just saw me as a slightly disheveled housecat. My hair just wouldn't stay orderly that jump.

My upgraded death aspect was "Nihilism", and my unique power, which keyed into it, was "Nullification".
Basically? If I could overpower someone's spiritual energy, I basically had the ability to say, "That doesn't do anything."
"It doesn't matter."
Or just,
"No."

Effectively I had the ability to turn off other people's abilities.

I also took, what's it called, Consumption? And the Spirit Fruit and Artificial Lesser Hollow Meat items. So a lot of my time was spent mass producing those in a garden in Heuco Mundo and then just devouring the fuck out of them.
Training? Spiritual enlightenment? Psh, fuck that.

You could always sacrifice it to Slaanesh. I'm sure that would make him/her/it VERY happy.

Whether that's a good thing or not is up to you.

I don't know, Khorne would probably be stronger still, he just wouldn't stomp anymore.

I did run that thing through a purification process post-40k, just because I didn't want to take any chances in that happening. The stone went from being almost black to being bright and shiny red. Also there was a goodly amount of sludge on the ground after that. Magical purification blasts are effective in cleaning that up though.

Anything I release is just basically raw soulstuff, no BSDM and violence and silliness. I have had a great deal of time to ensure that there's none of that nonsense in there.

In order to protect themselves from She Who Thirsts the Dark Eldar must surround themselves with the suffering of others to stave her off. Their city is basically built around torture, slavery, and rape to satisfy this need.

They have long since adjusted to this life style and have become proper irredeemable sadists, you might find one or two who are salvageable people but to be honest it would be better to drown the whole city in fiendfyre.

So blow up the whole solar system is what I'm getting from all this. Will this in any way make me a target of Slaanesh?
>>
>>51207698
Crux, it doesn't matter how pure a soul is. When you die, you go to the warp, to have your soul torn apart and eaten by daemons. Happens to everyone. Moreover, Eldar souls are pre-claimed by Slaanesh. Even the purest and most innocent Exodite child is devoured by and empowers Slaanesh directly if they die.
>>
>>51207722
They don't live in a Solar system. It's a massive city in the Webway.
>>
>>51207722
They live in a massive city in the closed off section of the warp the Eldar use for transportation.
>>
>>51207722
This >>51207732. Also, since you'd be feeding all of their souls to Slaanesh, I doubt you'd make an enemy of her that way.
>>
>>51207722
They live in the Webway anon. Commorragh isn't just ONE place but MULTIPLE places. They also can appear anywhere in the galaxy and disappear just as quickly back into the Webway. Plus they're all over the place, Commoragh is just where most them live.
>>
>>51207714
>but only a 500x multiplier
Why?

It should probably be much less, considering that most people won't even spend 16 let alone 8 hours a day on constant training, every day of the week. Unless you assume that stamina and no-sleep perks increase the baseline learning speed for some reason.
>>
>>51207643
They are very swole and can just brute force through it with enough effort.
>>
>>51207560
So is this a Greek Myth jump or a Hercules jump?
>>
>>51207722
It's not a star system, Comorragh is inside the Webway, a "layer" of the Warp closer to the real world that the Eldar use for FTL due to being sectioned off from the rest and therefore mostly safe. This makes Comorragh difficult to destroy all at once, as the various parts of it are actually very distant and just linked together via the space-warping properties of the Webway.

Greek Myth.

>>
>>51207817
Funny enough, the jumps actually provide it. The Light of Terra jump ends with you fighting Orikan at the remains of an enormous Warp engine that he's reconfigured to merge the Materium and the Warp together, destroying both and harassing the energy in order to make himself a god. All of the other 40K jumps we have offer continuity drawbacks, so that you can pick prior 40K jumps to have counted to that version of the universe. So, if you had ridiculous amounts of technology, technopathy, and repair perks, you could find Orikan's god-machine in every 40K jump, repair it, and destroy the universe with it.
>>
>>51207817
Supreme Commander tech could probably do it, given enough time. I mean, you wouldn't blow it up all at once (unless you built Black Sun, which I guess you could use to systematically destroy the 40K galaxy?), but the robot armies you would pump out would probably steam roll the setting, especially if you beat the Forged Alliance scenario and have access to Seraphim tech.

Halo arrays from Halo are a good second option, though they take a bit more work to set up.

It's supposed to allow you to "treat hours as months", and you'd have to assume that someone is training for 730 straight hours to say that it's that much of a multiplier. Accounting for things like sleep, its much more modest, but still bretty gud.
>>
>>51207946
well you did purchase multiple instances of the same powers, right? Normally, no. But considering you spent three purchases on the time stop I will allow it,maybe tweak it so that it's running off of stamina reserves rather than breath holding?

And I'd say you could read it in an hour or so but I have an extremely fast modem and read at around 300% the national average
>>
>>51207962
Chaos is really good at corrupting robots, that is the real reason the Imperium isn't fond of AI. There was once an Intelligent Titan that went full chaos really fast and started firing deamons out of it's Gatling cannon.

Perhaps it is that Intelligence without will is an easy target?
>>
>>51207962
There was once a time called the Dark Age of Technology, when humans were hyper-advanced hegemons with all kinds of neat technology in their multi-species empire. They beat their current selves in tech to a massive degree, to the point where they were unmatched by anyone but the Eldar empire at its height (and thus they just ignored each other.) One of their advances were massive armies of robots to work this technology.

Then Slaanesh was born and all the robots got corrupted. And the humans had to fight them off and barely survived, most descending into barbarism as they lost their technology.
>>
>>51207978
Actraiser has that. Sky Palace is an item with a Heaven and a Purgatory, and Devil's Manor has a Hell in it. They're small, but can contain a huge number of souls.
>>
>>51207850
Just help Ynnead kill Slaanesh. Then you can release the Dark Eldars' souls and clean some space in your warehouse.
>>
>>51207961
>Only mortal creatures though, so that might not work...

That's pretty fucking weak, man.

That'd be pretty damn useless on its own. I mean, considering Taskmaster exists and is below Spider-man's level, it seems pretty fine.
>>
>>51207962
Warp can corrupt anything that's not a Necron due to the fact they're completely soulless and designed out of special materials thats immune to chaos. However they're bunch of soulless machines that have memories uploaded into them or think they do when most are in fact just programmed to think that .

>>51208040
I know, but I already went through Actraiser. I don't think there are very many afterlifes (afterlives?) before that which I can get, that's the problem.

Ugh, I should just drop the stone in Slice of Life the next time I stop in post-jump and let them stew until I go post spark. No way in hell that I can resurrect trillions of Eldar, and nowhere to put them. And I wouldn't trust them if I did, anyway.

>>51208059
... duly noted, and this may actually be possible at least in theory. What effects would this have in general? Would the Eldar pantheon be restored or would that require a lot more in-depth work?
>>
>>51208017
>>51208079
Shit, disregard. Reading comprehension failure on my part.
>>
>>51207962
Chaos is all about corruption, the only thing that can defend against it is willpower and intolerance. Most people in the Imperium have at least one of those while robots have neither, makes the robots easier targets.

>>51208075
Give the Robots full intelligence, free will, and an Imperium style single minded intolerance for all things Chaos.
>>
>>51208079

>>
>>51208009

>>
>>51208099
Yeah, but would you say that a lack of sleep magically allows you to squeeze more "compressed hours" into your hour, or that you can use more hours to train?
>>
>>51208099
You need to kill all Eldar, including Dark, Craftworlds, Harlequin, and Exodites. Only then its said their god will be born and destroy Slaanesh. However that's like saying Big E will just need entire worlds to be fed to him so he can get up and do the jitterbug. If anything killing all the Eldar will just birth yet another Chaos God.
>>
>>51208099

>>
>>51208099
>What effects would this have in general?
Unclear. That's the fun of it though!
>Would the Eldar pantheon be restored or would that require a lot more in-depth work?
Well some believe it would cause a rebirth of the whole Eldar race, wiping any trace of the Fall, along with a new version of their pantheon.

Oh by the way waking up Ynnead in its full power requires you to kill every single Eldar and trap their souls into the Infinity Circuits.
>>
>>51204517
Well that's heroic spirit level of Rune magic. If you want to see actual human magic it would be more like in Kara no Kyoukai where Touko uses her cigarette to write a rune in fire in the air to burn a zombie.
>>
>>51208061
Not actually, they have their own planets 'stolen' in the Warp to feed them.

You blow up the galaxy and the probably are able to enter the galaxy without no Emperor holding up the the Gate on Terra.

And even if you were to starve them, it would take a very looong of time for them to die. Each daemon is a thought that someone at some point has had. The Chaos Gods are every daemon put together. That should give you an idea of how many daemons can fuel them until they start weakening. Once they're in real space, they can start creating other beings to fuel them and keep their game going. Or search for another galaxy.

It's not... REALLY the same, but Final Fantasy 9 has the Iifa Tree, which will override any other afterlife and draw in souls to make it grow larger. If the game is any indication, it gets up to somewhere around DBZ Tree of Might level.

I don't really know whether or not that goes out further than a single planet, and it's possible to destroy the tree, but it is a way to prevent souls from moving on, and it would probably be able to encompass Commorragh at least.

I wonder what would happen if I plugged it directly into the Warp ...

That could actually be a great diplomatic move. But the big pack of souls would probably excite the appetite of various Chaos gods and you'd have to give the Eldars a way to defend themselves.
>>
So while we're talking about ways to destroy the universe, SS13 when?

...no, shit, I can't do that, because then they'll be KILL by DEMONS and then whichever one gets the souls will have a nasty increase in power. Assuming it doesn't accidentally make another minor chaos deity.

I suppose I'll have to plant the Iifa Tree.

>>
>>51208586
Change the galaxy to be a better place. The chaos gods have positive aspects that'd be emphasized if people felt happy instead of miserable. They'd need to feed on those positive emotions more.

Mindrape everything in the galaxy.

Pick up Omega-level Telepathy from XMCU and use Broodmother from SCP to create a horde of rapidly reproducing psychic space locusts to overrun the galaxy and fill everyone with happy thoughts.
>>
>>51208586
Here's the thing, the Chaos Gods do not, fully, control the thing they are about. They are living representations of it.
There was War, Blood, Melee Combat, Etc before Khorne was "born"
There was entropy, disease, stagnation, etc before Nurgle was "born".
They can be "killed", in a sense, but they will reform in time. Because the thing they represent births them. More Perversion, Overindulgence, and generally being a fuckwit would birth another incarnation of Slaanesh, for example.

But while they are 'dead' they can no longer intentionally and actively make the Warp and the Materium places that actively feed and nourish them, which can give you time to FIX the Warp, back into the Realm of Souls.

TDLR:Killing them isn't the end goal, it isn't even fully possible, but 'killing' them can help you fix the Warp, ending their threat effectively.

Drop-In
Cornucopia
The food of the Gods, literally. This is a huge magical goats horn that overflows with a fine harvest of food. Delicious grapes, perfect olives, golden grain, and many other impossibly good foods seem to spill forth from it whenever you pick up the Cornucopia. The true boon of the Cornucopia is at the very end of the horn, enough Ambrosia to fill a cup. This magical liquid washes away disease and injury like water over dirt, reverses the effects of aging to bring people closer to their prime when consumed, and tastes delicious in ways mortal men can barely comprehend while fully feeding someone with only a sip.
Only makes a single cup of ambrosia a week.

Sandals of Hermes
Hermes winged sandals allow him to run through the air like a bird. Now you to may take flight while wearing a copy of his legendary shoes. While wearing these the air itself seems to form a solid and flat surface to walk on. They also increase the length of your strides three fold allowing you to walk at running speeds and run even faster. Furthermore they are a snug comfy fit and golden.
Completley silent and leave no footprints in case you need to engage in the less scrupulos domains of the thieves God.

Golden Apple
The apple of discord that spreads conflict wherever it lands. Whoever sees this apple after it has been thrown, apart from you and your companions, will be compelled by a powerful magic to claim it as their own. They will fight and even kill to be the one who has it so they might claim it as their own.
Do not throw this lightly for wars that destroyed heroes have been sparked by one.

>>51208796
Ahh, alright. So you buy misc. meta itself multiple times to incrase the power of an ability. Thanks.
>>
>>51208786
Then you can argue over which one is the most beautiful of them all.
>>
>>51208773
Would you consider allowing items to be imported for their respective traits?
>>
>>51207857
Apologies, but I see picking Wayne Miller discounts all purchases of Misc. Meta. If I go teacher and discount the Misc. Meta, do all purchases of it discount?
>>
>>51208693
Although it took an entire race of powerful psionics going murder fuck happy in order to form the last chaos god. So it takes a lot.
>>
>>51208773
...We have a perk in there for beauty similar to Helen of Troy's, right? I need my vanity perks.
>>
>>51208823
No no no, you can only do that within each Misc. Meta purchase, not between them.

>You may choose up to three thematically related abilities, though choosing fewer than three will make the remaining power(s) more powerful but only a little bit (the power curve will look something like this {1+1+1, 1.25+1.25, 2}).

>You can purchase Miscellaneous Meta multiple times, and even stack the same theme(s), but the diminished returns still apply if you do the latter.
>>
>>51208870
Wasn't Khorne primarily formed from the human dark ages?
>>
>>51208773
Please don't do this >>51208878 ? We have enough beauty perks already, and Greek Mythology is vast enough for something more interesting/more unique.
>>
>>51207714
Wait, why are you buying Meta twice for the EM and thrice for the time stop? Don't you buy it once and then get three slots to distribute?
>>
>>51208878
No plans for one and honestly see>>51208896
I don't want to bang out another random beauty perk.
Especially since it would synergize to well with the other perk in that jump.
>>
>>51208773
Will there be an option similar to King Arthurs that allows us to pick the cosmology or whatever of the universe?
>>
>>51208896
>We have enough beauty perks
No, we don't.

>Greek Mythology is vast enough for something more interesting/more unique
You make it sound like having a perk for one thing locks other things out.
>>
Thanks for responding!
>>51208622
So diplomacy to stop wars, terraforming, social programs...?
>>51208629
That sounds like the kind of thing that Tzeentch might like. Fighting fire with fire tends to work in Chaos' favor right?
>>51208693
So God-slaying perks and loads of firepower to temporarily disable them. Then... how do I fix the Warp? Purification powers?
>>
>>51208891
If you are seriously telling me that a couple million humans on one planet having a series of small political wars are enough to give birth to a chaos god, when there's a galaxy full of that crap out there, I am a Nigerian prince, I want to give you a hundred million, and I just need you to give me your account details and give me a small loan of a million dollars to facilitate the transfer.
>>
>>51208870
It's implied that Slaanesh's birth was....unusually quick for a Chaos God, most of them formed over 10s of thousands of years, where as Slaanesh was murderfucked into existence in a much shorter amount of time.

But the fact that these gods Already existed might make them be "reborn" sooner than they were originally "born".
Still, it gives you time to fix shit at least.

At least one of my chains HAS sparked.

His plans are simple if only because his mind's been hurt and wounded by the constant fighting and conflict against increasingly thirsty and powerful beings. Surviving the Mojave. The plaguelands of china. The hordes of hell. The chaos of Anarchy Reigns. The tides of zombies of both HSOTD and Resident evil. The bleak despair and broken innocence of Black Bullet and Nechronica(that one was the breaking point.)
With all the power it took to rip the ignition for his Spark, he simply whisked away everyone he met who couldn't follow him to a peaceful place, the world he left the Initiators in after burning their homeworld to the ground.
The weary souls of the Mojave,The scared children he protected in Nechronica against the raving hordes of a madman, the lost and lonely survivors of the Calamity who waited in the Bastion, the warriors who stood vigilant against the darkness in RWBY, and even the fatebound Carapaces of SBURB were brought to CATastrophe for one reason, the same reason he even bothered to expend this energy and time to find and take them all here

To heal.
YWVH stole the Survivor's proto-spark to try and forge a perfect warrior for his own purposes, but he forgot something very vital.
Peace is what all true warriors strive for, my boy.
>>
>>51208924
No. I can't balance for a thousand and one settings simultaneously. Greek myth in Troy has Tom Cruises ass as the most dangerous thing in it, Greek myth in Saint Seiya has people moving so fast they dash between galaxies.

>>51208937
Humans are more connected to the Warp then most other races, and Khorne formed over time, unlike Slaanesh who was born from being murderfucked into existence.
>>
>>51208963
I'll think about it. Importing onto previous items is better then getting the item itself though.
>>
>>51208932
>Then... how do I fix the Warp? Purification powers?
That's the rub. The corruption of the Warp goes back a LONG ass fucking time, way back to when the Necron first existed. Murder and war on a scale that makes the current 40k conflict look like a mere skirmish. That nonsense is what corrupted the Realm of Souls in the first place.

Moreover the Warp/RoS is the collective unconscious of every being with a soul in the galaxy, if not other galaxies. So you DO have to improve everyone's lot in life in order to get them to stop fucking filling it with negative emotions and shit.

>>51208937
>>51208891
He was formed in the Dark Ages, but it likely had little to nothing to do with Humanity.

>>51208980
We are, but we had less of that connection then, since Emps was our only psyker.
Though Genghis Khan(or was it Attillia the hun?) was made into a Daemon Prince.
>>
>>51208965
I will!
>>
>>51208586
My plan is to make Slaanesh submit to me. What pleasure could POSSIBLY be more decadent than the subservient submission of a god?

Khorne, I plan to engage in battle. Battle such as he has not borne witness to in this miserable setting. My goal is not to kill him, no, that's not really possible, not permanently. it is to use my combat abilities along with my befriending perks to force him to acknowlege me.

Tzeentch is all about change, so he's going to be the least problematic for my plans, and Nurgle... I just don't want to deal with Nurgle. Companions will keep him and his forces in check for long enough.

I'm also going to Warhammer Fantasy first. There, I'll start by killing the imprisoned and weakened Chaos God of the Chaos Dwarves, and go after their incarnations there first.

The ultimate plan though, once I've got everyone in position, is to corrupt the chaos gods. Too much fucking work to change the entire WH40k universe in order to change the chaos gods.. No. we change the chaos gods. Apply perks related to redeeming someone, along with powers of Command and befriending.

What's the objective? Change the chaos gods to change the Warhammer 40k setting. By reshaping them, we reshape the nature of sentient life in the setting.

And if that doesn't work, well, Just condemn the whole place and destroy the warp. Everybody dies and it's for the better.
>>
>>51208849
>>51208965
pretty much.
>>
>>51208958
>No. I can't balance for a thousand and one settings simultaneously.

Don't.

This is Jumpchain. Don't. King Arthur is fine despite facing the same thing.
>>
>>51208983
Eh, arguable. Without importing, you have two magic items that can be dismantled/distributed as you see fit. Importing just takes a step away from one of the several merging processes we have.

Hey, question regarding the Hero Union BBS jump and hero learning speed. Is it additive, or multiplicative?

Example (arbitrary numbers) - Hero 1 has x10 learning speed from his generic hero boost.

Hero 2 has x100 learning speed from out of jump learning stuff, but then also gets the x10 from the hero boost in addition to that.

So, basic question, is the end result a learning speed of x110 for Hero 2, or is it a x1000 learning speed for Hero 2?

I'm ASSUMING it's x110, because that seems sane, but I'm currently in an argument with someone saying it's the later. So, basically, which is it?

Also, could you take a look at >>51208911 , please? Do we buy Meta once for three slots, and CJ just spent nine slots on Time stop and six on the Enchanced Mastery? Didn't you say that three slots is enough to replicate Enchanced Mastery?
>>
>>51209035
And that was a mistake. Everyone goes to Fate/Saint Seiya even though Greek Mythology has a perfectly workable setting/cosmology of its own. It'd be like offering to go to any version of Rome in a Generic Rome Jump for no reson other than "it's cool".

yes, that's why i okayed it.

>Didn't you say that three slots is enough to replicate Enchanced Mastery?

I don't remember saying that but if you can find a source for me, saying that I'll stick by it. I think it's a little bit more than enhanced mastery though.

>>51209079
in some mythologies They are happily married, though.
>>

>>
>>51209046
Generally, the answer to such questions will always be to just fanwank it. Do try to keep it to reasonable levels though.
>>
>>51209046
Enhanced Mastery is totally additive, though. It very explicitly allows you to treat hours as months. Saying it's multiplicative would be like saying that that 25-ton strength perk is multiplicative because it's several OOMs greater than the human it's being compared to.
>>
>>51209100

Uh, Enhanced Mastery probably shouldn't take more than one purchase of Misc. Meta, at least not for the learning booster. The skillcap-breaker, OTOH, would be reasonable and honestly doesn't seem like something that MM would allow at all.

Jump #34: Ben 10

Los Soledad
Tennyson * Sure, why not?
Male
14
Human * Fuck Yeah

Annoying - 0 * Kek

Alien Cookbook - 0 * I wonder what the Mexican food of space tastes like?
Omnitrix - 1000 * A cheap knockoff? Pfft. My more tech-focused companions are going to go bug Azmuth until he teaches them how to make an Omnitrix, then we'll make an even better one.
° Tokustar * Hell yeah
° Galvan * Should help a lot with upgrading the watch.
Evolutionary Function - 500 * Oh boy, this'll be fun… I just hope my Ultimates don't gain sapience and try to kill me.
Jumper’s Contract - 300 * Ben would probably enjoy Jumping.

Jumper 10,000 * Sur, this is a fun world.
Freaked Out + 300 * Free Ghostfreak form? Score.
Most Dangerous Game + 300 * Blah blah blah. Intergalactic bounty hunters after my head is old hat, and this isn't much different.
Numbernumber + 200 * Speaking of…

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, CRACKER JACK! THAT'S A PRETTY AWESOME PICTURE!
>>
>>51209111

I get that, but the argument the other guy is using is that being a 'hero' means that the enhanced learning speed of a hero is your baseline, rather than something that is just an add-on.

Basically their argument is that the hero learning speed replaces your regular baseline learning speed, such that any learning speed multipliers you have (enhanced mastery from worm for example) base themselves off of the hero learning speed, rather than your 'regular joe' learning speed.

Now that doesn't seem right to me, because in the actual setting we see plenty of heroes that have absolutely no learning speed boosts or other hero abilities until AFTER they're made heroes, which implies that the hero learning boost is something that is added to them, rather than a base-line trait they normally possess.

Does that make sense?
>>
>>51209100
Ah, my apologies. It was SJ-Chan who said that.

I think she is not working on this anymore?
>>
>>51209197
I couldn't save Mordred from her terrible mistakes if I grabbed her as a Servant.
>>
>>51209179
So. It started out like any other vacation across the country with your Grandpa who's secretly a legendary space hero and your two annoying preteen cousins who are actually descended from a magical energy being in a high tech space ship disguised as a shitty motorhome. And then Ben found the Watch and yadda yadda yadda, and then I stumbled on a shoddy copy of if. I secretly gave Gwen access to books to help her hone her magic and modified both our Watches to be better.

My TT duplicate, as it normally does, took on a different persona. It ended up taking both Charmcaster and Kevin under his wing and working out their issues. Eventually, they became friends with our group. The bounty hunters and Ghostie were irritating, but not that big of a deal. Paradox showed up eventually and kept making roundabout references that clearly indicated he knew what I was. Vilgax, on the other hand, really got on my nerves. The fucking squid just wouldn't die. So I stopped trying to kill him. I, instead, opted to turn him into a tiny human kid with pink hair and dropping him off at a daycare.

Eventually, due to Ben and I being incredibly blatant and the other group essentially becoming full on superheroes, aliens and magic were exposed much sooner than in canon. I ended up completely forgetting about Dagon, so we had to deal with that whole thing again, but eh.

Same poster here. Basically I'm looking for a ruling from Sky Garden's Magician on whether or not the hero learning boost is additive or multiplicative. As I said before the sane answer seems to be the former.
>>
>>51209222
I see.

One last question:

>>51209100
>I think it's a little bit more than enhanced mastery though.
What do you mean here?
>>
>>51207121
Does the prohibition on companions buying companions in SW OT include droids? My companions need astromechs for their X Wings.
>>
>>51209100
How many misc metas do you think something like Inference Engine would cost. That's a power that lets you make accurate connections incredibly fast, basically Sherlock Holmes deduction on steroids.
>>
>>51209267
Sky Garden's Magician doesn't really frequent these boards, as far as I know. He just occasionally pops in for an update.
>>
>>51209328
Sherlock Holmes would be one slot and its multiplicative from There.
>>51209271
Am under the impression enhanced mastery was less than 500X
>>
>>51209328
I think that would depend on whether or not it can come to incorrect conclusions based on faulty or lacking information, or whether it will pick up on the fact that its conclusions are lacking key pieces of info to support them, and then point it out to you that you're working on faulty or incomplete info.
>>
>>51209328
or you know you could just take Criminal investigation as your 25 years ahead of comic book super tech science with the genius perk.
>>
>>51209355
>its multiplicative from There.
What do you mean? It costs a multiplicative amount of purchases to get there? I thought purchases couldn't stack to make the same power more powerful?
>>
>>51209355
Enhanced Mastery is roughly x730 regular learning speed, if we go strictly by the 'hours as months' description and average it out over the course of a full (non-leap) year.
>>
>>51209073
As the one you're replying to, I can tell you that I've never jumped King Arthur as a fate jump. or as saint seiya. I just kinda go as a generic king arthur jump.

If people are using it as such, the only thing thats a sign of, is that there's a market for more specific jumps.

None of the perks, so far as I'm aware, are specific to any of those interpretations of the setting, the perks are the same whether I jump KA as Monty Python, or as Fate, or as the oldschool Chretien stories.
