>My character for an upcoming campaign (no, not a pfg campaign) is an old dragon that fought his corrupted kin for nearly his entire life. Through these fights he accumulated countless curses and wounds that now have his aging body fail. Being fed up with his minions/attendants flocking around his dying body 24/7 and not wanting to expire in a random cave, he leaves his lair and hoard behind for one last adventure and maybe to regain a glimpse of his youth. For this purpose he takes human form and explores what amusing and petty things the mortal creatures go about, especially those adventurers.

I'm going to GM for a campaign tomorrow any suggestions on what would be a good campaign so far here are my ideas-

My Half-Elf Magus learned the finer points of swordplay from his Half-Elf father, and learned magic from his full Elf Great-Grandfather and former King of one of the Elvish Kingdoms.

He's pretty inexperienced, and still somewhat naive. He wants to do good deeds and be known in his own right, aside from being the great-nephew of a king.

He tends to favor using spells that cause status effects or weaken his enemies, then uses his Arcane Pool and weapons to take them down.

Dungeon-crawly Secret Police Gestalted Psionics game to DM tonight, then 7 player party game tomorrow, then game I play in is on Monday.

Tonight's game is session 1, will be fun to see if the squad can succeed.

Tomorrow's game has a major player in the story being introduced.

Monday game, since it's a holiday I'm counting it, will continue with us fighting these guys that turn into blood upon death and I get to continue rampaging as a dinosaur.

Who else here gets irrationally fucking terrified when ever your GM brings up the golden ratio?

One of the rotating GMs for my group enjoys watching players thrash in panic/horror. He always forces things too far. The golden ratio always comes up when shit is about to hit the fan. Also bullshit like non-directional space, fucked up geometry, fucking fractals, and true naming.

The core rulebook is going to have personal vehicle rules that scale up. The mechs are going to be based off said rules, and more precise movements will be relegated to power armor. Mechs are going to be some kind of hybrid between the vehicle and power armor systems, I think.

So does this sound like an appropriately Adventure Path-esque progression for a campaign where the players must first fight Americans in Drum and then take the fight to Earth themselves:

First part is about taking down a rogue sergeant who decided to unite bandits into a larger alliance while holding connections to the actual army.

Second part is venturing into the fey inhabited forest where the Americans are draining away the resources and magic from the place

Third part is defending a town and then taking back a major military location after travelling the countryside.

Fourth is sneaking through a siege encampment around the capital into a portal to Earth and shutting it from the other side after wandering around because of a portal mishap.

Fifth is gathering allies from the mafia, native Americans, plane travelling people from Golarion and occult tinfoil hats with proper psychic powers due to plot related things.

Sixth is discovering finally where the big gate is and assaulting a place full of 1920's "future" tech, flying battleships and jet engine powered dragons.

Generally what you need metamagic for is blasty stuff to keep its damage competitive, debuff and utility spells either don't need it or don't benefit from it too much (and you use a variety of those rather than 'this one spell, constantly').

Rime Spell might be worth a look if you find something it works well with.

Choose whatever summoned monster you plan to use the most when you get access to it, use Magical Lineage on a spell that lets you summon one or more of it, and then exploit Extend Spell.

But that's probably far, far less useful than just slapping it on a low-level blast and coupling it with Intensified Spell.

The first thing to come to mind is just, like, a dude that's really cheerful and happy to be there. A vigilante who treats it like a 9-5 job and just REALLY loves his job. So does that mean I get one of those two disciples by default? Or is there another line somewhere that means I make that choice at a certain level? Just wanted a smarter opinion on this before I go badger my GM...

Is there something like this for Kineticists? Like lowering the spell level of a utility talent? I'm in an E6 game and I've apparently not thought this through.

So I'm practically gonna cum in my pants if this works how I think it does:
>1) Weapon Adaptation feat would let me use, say polearms, as discipline weapons for every discipline I have access to, including Broken Blade
>2) This would give attacks +2 Damage as per Broken Blade when using maneuvers in said group
>3) Broken Blade stance gives +1d6 additional damage to attacks with discipline weapons (Polearms from the feat)
>4) Bronze Knuckle from BB makes "attacks for the duration of his turn inflict an additional 2d6 points of damage"
>5) Steel Flurry Strike from BB is 3 attacks each with +3d6 bonus damage
So in conclusion, would using Steel Flurry Strike deal Base Weapon Damage +1d6 from Stance +2d6 from Boost + 3d6 from Flurry and +2 from using a discipline weapon times 3? Making a grand total of Base Weapon times 3 + 18d6 + 6 damage if all 3 attacks hit?
Or am I fucking retarded in that those additional damages don't stack or my math is garbage?

I have that. My Puppetmaster Magus was based off a much saner, less psychotic version of the Joker. He joined the party for a quick buck and has always toned down his abilities since he was CE in a group of Gs.

When the rest of the party was distracted or unconscious in a fight and the Magus was alone with the BBEG's right hand man, he literally drove the guy crazy with an illusory curse no different from Joker's laughing gas (-6 wisdom drain = magical poison + puppetmaster magus illusion+enchantment stacking feature). DM couldn't break his poor mid-boss out of the crazy trance I put him in.
