So I promised a few drawbacks and made them as a warm-up.

What A Weasel [+100] - Well this is...annoying. A side effect of you entering the world the way you did is that you’re now a tiny white weasel-thing with floppy ears, looking almost identical to Kyubey or a member of his race. Your other abilities still work just fine, but any attempts to look different or remove this form just don’t work. Expect people to have trouble taking you seriously...or pinning Kyubey’s many, many swindled wishes on you. You may keep this as an altform, post-jump, if you wish.

You Little Bastard! [+200] - Kyubey considers the current system of magic and Wraith-killing to be far too inefficient for his kind’s taste, and the ineffable Law of Cycles both a mystery and a drastic limitation on what he could possibly obtain to save the universe. Lucky him, then, that he detected your arrival and figures out what you are minutes after the jump begins. He will identify you explicitly as ‘The Jumper’ to anyone who asks, too, which can be a shock for anyone close to your background.

The good news is that he’s content to just observe you and constantly pester you with questions regarding your adventures...at least, at first. The bad news is that he will be taking notes on things regarding your Warehouse, and any technology or magic that you use from outside this world. He will also regularly direct Wraiths and strong Magical Girls to combat you, wanting to see as much of your ‘potential’ as possible. And no matter what, whatever ‘solution’ he comes up with using your copied (or at least ‘inspired by’) repertoire always seems to turn out bad for everyone, you especially. What’s worse? Any attempts to permanently kill him or render his race extinct or non-functional will fail. If you keep the outside context things hidden or display as little as possible, he won’t have much to work with...but do you really want to rely on the ‘gifts’ of the Incubator during your time here?
>>
>>51131634
Hexed [+200] - Although the mission statement of Magical Girls is to bring hope, in practice, it just boils down to ‘kill Wraiths’ with enough regularity to keep on surviving. Still, mental stability does an excellent job of adding to a Magical Girl’s life span, so it’s very rare to see one who’s genuinely insane or evil. Unfortunately for you, this is one of the exceptions.

This Magical Girl is a psychopath, pure and simple, a serial killer in the making...or already in progress, thanks to their newfound powers. They’re strong enough to survive in territory where almost everyone wants them dead, and unpredictable and violent enough to be a problem as far as everyone in the city is concerned. Finally, they’ve decided that killing YOU personally is a great time for them. Their insanity and craving for violence is enough that despair or disappearing into the Law of Cycles just doesn’t seem to take - something that mystifies Kyubey.

You must contend with this hostile Magical Girl who wants to fight you and see you dead at any cost. Attempts at diplomacy are just asking for trouble at the most. Should you strike them down, they will vanish and come back the following week, good as new and just a little more ferocious. How vexing.

So what jumps would you like to see but don't know/can't be bothered to make?
>>
>>51131671
Fables.
>>
>>51131652
How strong is this rogue magical girl? Is there a way to permanently kill them off? What if I hurled them into space?
>>
>>51131671
It'd be cool to see a Devilman jump, but I don't know how you could pull that off.
>>
>>51131376
Let's use the 5th war as an example
Kotomine (1.5 servants): Crazy priest with exceptional power. Likes mapo tofu. Kill him only if you prefer curry over mapo tofu.
Sakura (1 servant): Worm slut with a lesser grail in her body. Kill her in any route.
Shinji (0 Servant): He's a disgusting human but that doesn't mean he deserves death. Just use illusion magic or Tsukuyomi to make him want to be a better person. If you stupidly let Sakura live then she'll sort him out once the timelines converge.
Tohsaka (1 servant): Do what you wish.
Ilya (1 servant): If you can make her see the way of good, or help Shirou through the 4th route then she's better off alive.
Souichirou (1 servant): Other than being an assassin he's a decent school teacher, better off left alive.
Medea (0.5 servant): If you can make her express her love without the need to be crazy or take the mana from innocent civilians then she's fine, if not she's better off dead.
Zouken (1 servant): Almost impossible to kill, just hope you aren't in the route he gets True Assassin. If you let Sakura live then she'll also sort him out once the timelines converge.
Shirou: He has Avalon inside of him. If you have the Overlord perk that lets you use any magical item, kill him and take it for yourself.

Or you could just kill them all since it's easier to kill the majority of them than it is to kill their servants.

Pretty much but it's mainly because he's in the Heaven's Feel route where Sakura shows off her true power, and has worm sex with Shirou. Wait for the movies if you haven't played the game.

Zouken doesn't really do anything of note in UBW, and they showed him giving lessons to young Sakura in /Zero, so probably not a censor thing.
>>
>>51131751
>Sakura (1 servant): Worm slut with a lesser grail in her body. Kill her in any route.
Not to knowledgeable on this one, why isn't she salvageable?
>>
>>51131899
She's fine. Hard to keep sane, but fine overall. Just throw her at shirou and she'll generally be good.
>>
>>51131899
Well, it's partially because of a meme but she's incredibly manipulative, will do anything to further her goals and has been known to use the lesser grail inside of her to access the power of Angra Mainyu to become Dark Sakura, who is powerful enough to corrupt all but one servant (Gilgamesh, whom she kills because his willpower wouldn't allow him to be corrupted) and shows off her true, evil personality.

Like >>51131927 says, if she has a "willing" Shirou that hasn't been mentally broken then she's fine but it's a slippery slope that she can fall down at any time.
>>
>>51131899
She is, it's just...she's been through some shit, anon. Between having worms crawling inside her, being raped, and having a fragment of All the World's Evils inside her, it's a challenge to keep her from snapping. And when she DOES snap...well, see here >>51132006.

Yes, but it causes the Noble Phantasm to self-destruct afterwards. That's how Shirou/Archer can get equal performance to the originals with their traced copies. They can always just make more. You probably don't have that advantage. Probably, I don't know your build.

Generic Isekai, I'd be willing to help make it, but not make it myself. I haven't really read enough Isekai to make a generic jump, and I have no real interest in making a jump based on any of the settings I am particularly familiar with. I mean I like Kumo, but the setting is horrible, and I can't imagine making a jump that only has a single correct choice(become an administrator).

No one cares about a jump having Nazis, as long as it's not JUST Nazis. Hellsing has Millennium, Indiana Jones has a Nazi background, and you can be a Nazi in Hearts of Iron once that comes out. Plus someone's working on a Wolfenstein the New Order Jump. A Man in the High Castle is fine.
>>
>>51132235
Well, that is the expedient solution.
If you have a relevant perk (and some morals left) you should at least try to un-corrupt her first though.

Shinji on the other hand isn't influenced or coerced by anything iirc. He's just an absolutely terrible person.
Killing him isn't murder, it's a favor to humanity.

Unless you can take her soul, unfuse it from all the shit and make her a new body you can't uncorrupt her. Even if you can, you'd still have to basically rebuild her personality from the bottom up. It's easier to make an entirely new person than it would be to fix her.

From memory... the black grail within her is housing Angry Man-Guy which is bad, she's been through a lot of mental trauma, has a slightly off-kilter view of things, a tendency to project /and/ repress, and all around is in very poor mental health. She needs many things to be properly saved:
1. The worms out. (A few things could be done here but I recommend at the very least the Franken Fran Surgery tree, for better result maybe the Spiritual Surgery Perk from Samurai Deeper Kyo)
2. The black grail out. (You might be able to just adjust some goal posts with this one by having someone be a Demi-Servant or summoning Angry Man-Guy. Other than that I have little idea what this would take)
3. Mental Stability (Therapy Perks which we need a list of)

>Unless you can take her soul, unfuse it from all the shit and make her a new body you can't uncorrupt her.
Well. He did say he'd make her an Akuma.

That involves literally pulling them inside-out and going reshaping their mind, body, and soul. I imagine it's trivially easy to remove the parts of her soul you don't want during the process, and you can reshape the body into whatever you wish...
>>
>>51132440
Just purifying her soul would leave massive holes in her soul and her body, she'd probably die.
>>
>>51131671
The Lazy King. It's a neat setting based on the 7 sins.
>>
>>51132344
Personally I think that a Generic Isekai would work really well, but be a pain in the ass to make, and that anyone really ready to make it could likely make a jump for several series. But there are some series where it would be easier to make a generic than make the jump of that series, worst offender being Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken. In Slime you have something like 6-8 different powers that can steal powers from other people at a high level, most of these are actually owned by the MC.
>>
In the last thread an anon posted a neat trick with the perk granting perk from Imaginary Friend. Basically, step one was to use it to give a copy of itself to a companion. A year later they'd give it back to you, and you could use the new copy to give a different power away.

Does this work? Is But I don't wanna go to school today! a mental based power (as opposed to a meta-power) and does being regifted a copy of it not violate the 'effects do not stack' clause?

Cause it would be nice to not have to get Real Eater to exploit this. The text of the perk follows:

"But I don't wanna go to school today!"- 600 (Discount Secret Keeper)

Choose one mental based power you possess. Once per year you can impart this power onto another willing and aware individual in a ten minute meditation. The effects do not stack.
>>
>>51132344
Just because doing good isn't always easy doesn't mean it's not worth doing. /paladinmode

Also >>51132378
It may be really hard in setting, but depending on what other powers you have it could be anywhere from challenging to trivial for you.

And some jumpers just like doing good and helping people.
You know, instead of committing genocide, finding new paths to Apotheosis, MAD SCIENCE, finding yet another waifu for their harem or whatever other depravity some people here like to get up to.

>>51132398
>Well personally I'd get him a trail and all that first.
What, a jumper going through the court system? Blasphemy.
More seriously you'll likely have trouble even getting a proper case against him.
You can certainly try (and there's perks to make it have a better chance at success, so that helps).
Making him share a cell with his new best friend Bubba for a few years would certainly be amusing enough.

>>51132469
There's ways to heal that kind of thing too.
>>
>>51132501
Seems like you pick the perk you are going to give when you buy it. Giving the perk to someone else isn't a case of them buying it, it's just them getting a copy. So, no, you couldn't choose a new perk to copy.

On the other hand, you could use that method to give the perk to a companion who has real eater (or the cannon owner).
>>
>>51132292
>>51132398

>Shinji on the other hand isn't influenced or coerced by anything iirc. He's just an absolutely terrible person.

Highly debatable considering Zouken, has had literal decades to shape him into his perfect little tool to isolate and control Sakura. Honestly I doubt any non-magus would have a chance against such an ancient powerful evil with options ranging from brute mind-control to slow insidious campaings of inducing self-loathing and worthlessness from a very young age.

Also I'ts been a while but I remember the sex between Shinji and Sakura before she turned into the grail to be consented to. Something about the worms needing sex or they heat up and kill Sakura? Sure Sakura didin't enjoy it but I think she accepted it as necessary before she turned into the black grail.

Probably a good idea in general instead of going in guns blazing.
>>
>>51132475
>Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken
If I were to make a jump for that, the slime race would have a forced "you can't assume a non-slime form for the duration of this jump" drawback because why make a story about the MC being a slime if you're just going to have them essentially not be one part way through?
The other problem with a generic one would be that since a lot of isekai use game screens, some of its perk trees would be covered by The Gamer.
Drop In (game world), Xianxia, Monster, Secondary Character are the current ones I'm thinking of.

>Talks about having Shinji raped in jail
>>
>>51132501
The idea is that when you get it, you get to choose what it gives, so if you get it multiple times, you get multiple choices.
>>
>>51132575
>I remember the sex between Shinji and Sakura before she turned into the grail to be consented to.
No, he blackmailed her into sex and forced himself on her constantly. There was no consent.

>Something about the worms needing sex or they heat up and kill Sakura?
This much is true, the worms feed off of the mana from sex and she sometimes had to go around and fuck random strange men to keep them from killing her. This didn't happen all that often, only when something agitated the worms and made them wake up, when they're normally dormant. Most commonly, the thing that activates them are either Sakura's lewd thoughts (which are, funnily enough, most often caused by her thinking about Shirou), or by Zouken doing it to be a cunt. This is where the slut part of her name comes from. But this wasn't what was generally happening with Shinji. He'd just go in and start raping her out of jealousy for her having magecraft.
>>
>>51132503
>What, a jumper going through the court system? Blasphemy.
Whilst flawed it is the system he is a citizen of, and as a local CEO, I can't just kill him.

>More seriously you'll likely have trouble even getting a proper case against him.
To this I call bullshit. The amount of evidence that a proper forensic squad could pic up off the bed alone would be enough nd if you got Sakura to talk about it then the evidence is quite damning. Granted this all has to be done in such a way that Grandpa Zouken doesn't see it, which is the actual hard part but the case itself would be easy to put together.

>You can certainly try (and there's perks to make it have a better chance at success, so that helps).

1. My interest kinda waned in it. I don't even read DC comics anymore but it's kinda nostalgic for me.

Jesus Christ, I may have only a passing familiarity with the Fate series but you'd think I'd know that this happened by now.

And all that happened in canon? That's some fucked up shit.
>>
>>51132674
>>51132655

I suppose I shall take your word for it then. Dosen't change the fact that Shinji is more of a tragic character than a villain, a literal puppet of Zouken molded to his specifications and needs. Honestly I can't hate someone who's evil actions were literally someone else's choice. He never had a chance to be good or even be evil in a different way than what Zouken wanted him too and for that I can only pity him. It doesn't help that scenes with him in them, show how pathetic and childishly broken he was, desperatly seeking validation .
>>
>>51132640
Being a slime though only gives like two benefits, no bleeding out, and the way slimes eat synergies well with the MC's Predator ability. Otherwise being a slime would itself be a drawback. And I don't see any real issue with the perks also being covered by The Gamer, it's not like there aren't other jumps out there that have stuff covered by other jumps. Besides it's like 9/10 modern Isekai that have game screens and level up mechanics, even the one where the guy is a vending machine has a game screen and various skills and stats for him to level up. Personally I would be tempted to give an analysis/appraisal ability and video game like level up for free because everyone gets those in most of the series.

Though for backgrounds I would be going with, Drop in(super gamey), Truck-kun(Generic wish fulfillment hero), Japanese cold(minmax meta stuff), Spirited Away(Older stuff that you don't see as much of in modern Isekai), Native, and Unclear(monster/item background). Maybe cut Japanese Cold if it became problematic to fill everything.

I'm not as well versed in older isekai stuff. Most of my knowledge is the modern isekai. I also want to include as many as I can so that's why I'm putting in the xianxia (now called young master) background because as it is now, there'll probably never be a xianxia jump. Though I will replace secondary character with Truck-kun and possibly add in native if I can think of enough perks and items.

Generics work if there's a bunch of similarities and not enough differences between franchises. Like besides the characters, House, ER, Code Black, Chicago Med, Grey's Anatomy. They all good shows but they're Medical Dramas. There's not a lot of reinventing the wheel because it's largely based off of real hospitals, just fictionalized. SitComs are the same.

Lately I've been thinking I really, really wish we had an actual Chrono Cross jump, instead of having to sortof piggyback off the current Chrono Trigger jump. Especially because certain scenarios present in the jump make the possibility of Chrono Cross happening somewhat murky.

Maybe Breath of Fire, but I feel like I'd want separate jumps for each game, and that's probably too much to ask.
Oh, and Final Fantasy IV, while I'm at it.
Really, any retro Final Fantasies would be great.

>>
>>51133049
There is like an incredibly standard layout for Isekai, and the stories don't often differ that much. You could describe the general plot, main character, setting, and mechanics, and have it fit 20+ series.
One I would most like to make is a bit different, Tensei Shitara Kendeshita, where a guy was reincarnated as a sword, and it's really the story of the girl that wields him rather than his story. However the translations are 200 chapters behind, and while I'm up to date with the japanese release(my japanese is terrible though so I don't understand some of it and I'm mostly using online translation tools) it's not entirely clear what the hell is going to happen and I have way more questions than I should if I was to make a jump. I don't think it's even a third of the way through.

Now I could make a Kumo Desu ga, Nani Ka? jump, but the setting sucks(I don't hate it, it's just literally a terrible place), the skill system is actively detrimental, and there is only one correct choice in setting, be an administrator and don't piss off D.

Generic Virtual World has white hat and some band-aids and says that someone's data functions as a soul, and you could jury rig something using Metaphysical Biology from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
>>
>>51133423
Anima Beyond Fantasy has one. Strong Soul or something like that?
Combine it with something like Sacrificial Bestowment or the perks from Kingdom Hearts or Medaka Box that let you loan someone your perks and give it to whoever you want to heal.
>>
>>51133574
>Sacrificial Bestowment
Bad idea. That would just give people copies of your soul, not fix theirs.

I want more exotic environments. We only have one underwater Jump, two if you count CATastrophe, one Skylands jump, and one or two underground jumps. We need a Little Mermaid or Solatorobo Jump, or something similar.

>>
>>51133667
The perk doesn't give you a soul, seeing how you already have one before the jump or if you don't take it. Presumably.

It just makes the soul you already have stronger and lets it regenerate.
It also lets you be a ki master without requiring physical fitness (or really anything else), but that's not relevant in this case.
>>
>>51133423
There's a perk in Kingdom Hearts that lets you give people souls. I'm sure it's able to repair one.

C-Tech has lewd. However its not the focus of anything. C-Tech has many problems, the game itself has the stupidest dice system. It actively requires players & DMs to lie to one another. Then there's the fact they tried to jam at least 3 settings into one core book. The lewd bits came on later in a splat. In the core the only thing that's "lewd" would be the Drow. They have no nudity taboo, and society as a whole is a lot more open sexually.

That's not because they should be on the drive, it's because of how google and the guy who made the banned folder set up the drive. >>
Sorry for the Fate posting, but I have one last question.

How screwed are we, long term, if we don't invest CP in magic circuits? I was under the impression that you can't get more magic circuits, so that means there's a hard cap on how much mana you can pump out, and therefore how much you can grow before you have to rely entirely on refining your technique. Is this true, and are there any workarounds?

They're magitech borg, though the diversification gained by consuming Mirrodin has created some subfactions with distinct themes.
>>
>>51135674
>+0CP drawback
Woah woah woah. Nah. It'd be +400CP at least. New Phyrexia is home to five Praetors who rule different areas of the globe (mana-aligned, naturally). They rule over large numbers of minions, and work towards "compleation" using Phyrexian Oil, which basically corrupts things worse than that goop from Prometheus. A single drop of Oil can propagate itself, and eventually lead to whatever sapient beings it infects opening a portal to Old Phyrexia. IIRC, that's exactly what happened on Mirrodin.
>>
>>51131671

There's a few different shmups I'd like to jump but they tend to make poor jump material.

I really like the ambience of Diadra Empty and the feel of flying around a deserted planet on a dragon but there's just not enough fluff there to work with.

Hellsinker has a pretty rad post-apoc magitech setting and a surprising amount of text/worldbuilding for a shmup but it's a bizarre setting and the author seems to enjoy being vague and cryptic about a lot of things so I'd have no confidence at all in trying to write an actual jump about it.

The Alltynex trilogy is pretty cool too but even harder to write up since there's massive timeskips on top of the lore gaps.

There is indeed a hard cap. Magus society is based around how many generations your family have been mages since the newer bloods have significantly less power than the old blood.

You won't be screwed but you just won't be able to cast as much magic as someone with the same amount of circuits and time to train. So in the long term you aren't in that much trouble, it's the short term you're screwed.

Well, the other workaround is using the Pseudo-Servant option to gain a vast reservoir of mana generally considered to have more raw power than any living, non-True Magic using human. Magic operated on different principles back in the Age of the Gods.

From the perspective of a human magic user though-yeah, circuit count is a limit. It's more of a softcap for the REALLY creative, though you probably wouldn't like most of their workarounds:

-Shirou's Reality Marble provides magical resources and skill in far excess of the prana he needs to actually generate the marble (roll with it, its' magic) to trace Noble Phantasms, which is considered a feat "close to" True Magic

-The Einzberns' hormunculi are apparently better equipped than humans at casting magic, to an undefined degree because the main ones we see are all Lesser Grails i.e. keystones to a True Magic-built system. Theoretically if you had something like Touko's Dollmaker as well as beyond-Einzbern Hormunculus skill I guess you could steadily build yourself an army of backup bodies to puppet with.

-Zouken used bits of a shattered Last Grail to implant a Lesser Grail in someone else; this is what the Black Grail perk is based on. This is the most theoretical, but assuming you're REALLY good at crafting Mystic Codes and have good enough mystic materials to work with you might be able to make something that generates parana in your body. Though as Sakura proved, the surgery involved is likely to be...unpleasant.

True Magic have ways of working around this; while the 3rd and 5th are most famous, the 2nd can apparently access a "mana plane" to supply indefinite magical energy to its' user according to Prisma Illya. Caster's rank of HSDW/Item Creation can let her do something else similar to another thing Zelretch's mystic codes can: "Trick" all your flesh into acting like magic circuits to increase magical output drastically.

This is very, very, very, very bad for your health apparently.
>>
>>51135968
There are some perks for that here and there. I think the Generic Cult Jump has some, Okami has one if I remembering right, and I believe that the Civilization might have something for you.
>>
Have you ever wanted to take a canon companion option, but realized they'd regret it after being fiated into going with you?
>>
>>51135672
I know you probably didn't mean that as an attack on the setting but the immediate response is "Why go to any setting?" Personally I like the setting, and think the different clans are interesting and it would be cool to visit.

Bringing in an outside dragon to take over may not work as smoothly as you think, given the clans are/were all about killing the dragons. If you're powerful enough it'd work, but if you're powerful enough you also don't need a dragon to take over.
>>
>>51135686
It is not normally possible to acquire more magic circuits, there is a cap on how much prana(mana and od processed by a magic circuit that can then be used for magecraft) can be produced by a magic circuit. The limit also isn't exactly a rate, so much as an amount per day. Magic crests that are passed down families do contain magic circuits, but those in crests have basically been made so they only really work on specific spells and so don't exactly boost total prana production. Crest worms that Zouken made have artificial circuits and can be used to boost the power of the person using them, but there are other issues besides parasitic penis worms. There likely are other ways to get around the limit, however they would all be rather difficult and likely quite dangerous. Most of the forms of True magic though have ways of getting around this, so like in most other things they aren't nearly as limited as magecraft when it comes to this issue. There are also some things that you could buy to help get around it, like a NP that has it's own supply, but other than options like the mana stat or magic circuits that directly add on it's pretty much capped.

Honestly though your best bet is actually to use Conjoined Conjures from CardCaptor Sakura to mix your Nasuverse magic with another one that can be trained up, because the perk mentions that you can use either or both power sources.
>>
>>51135471
I've had way too many identities to possibly list them all.

My most recent in this chain was Darrel Holland, a high-ranking researcher and project head within Armacham Technology Corporation. I primarily worked as the head of Project Dragoon, which meant to incorporate the telesthetic amplification technology that ATC had developed for Project Harbinger into a highly advanced suit of streamlined Powered Armor. This was designed to create a much smaller, somewhat weaker, but vastly more maneuverable powered assault suit which could be controlled via telesthetic impulses by a pilot with psychic potential. The hope was that the failed candidates of Harbinger who lacked the potential to be psychic commanders could be repurposed as Dragoon candidates via the use of specialized amplifiers.

Of course, when all of the shit with Alma started going down, I headed to Fairport and immediately started meddling with Genevieve's schemes while remaining in communication with Carson Salyers and the Board of Directors. As things got progressively worse I might have "accidentally" "misplaced" the attunement keys to one of the prototypes on a desk right in front of the Point Man, among various other things as the situation progressively went further and further to shit. I also shot Genevieve in the back of the head right before she would've killed Lt. Stokes and I helped Beckett use the Telesthetic Amplifier on Still Island to destroy Alma.

Several times. It's actually pretty interesting to sit down and think if a character's motivations would fit with mine well enough to want to tug them along. I've even had a few times in my old chain where I paid the CP for a canon companion but simply couldn't convince them to come. Shala from Chrono Trigger among the most notable.

Jump #161 VA-HALL – A
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Background: Drop In (0)
Race: Human (0)

Perks:
*Time to mix drinks and change lives (0)
*Big Bossu (200, Discount)
*Noir World (200) (This is absurdly useful)

Equipment
*Kotatsu (0)

Companions
*Import (200)
*Nanoswarm (600)

Drawback
*Crafty Corgis (+200)

It’s kind of funny but I think this was exactly the sort of jump I needed after the last few. I think perhaps I had been too concerned with saving the world in the last few jumps to actually enjoy it. Sometimes I guess I got a little lost in what I should and shouldn’t do to just actually live. While I certainly tried to help people here; there was something peaceful about being a janitor and part time bartender.

I really came to like the people I worked with and a few of my customers. Anna was happy to have someone else to talk to who responded to her. Jill was releaved to find out she wasn’t nuts (at least for that). I tried to be there to help Jill when She found out about leonore, honestly it was mostly her closer friends that did the majority of the work.

One thing I was glad about though I was able to buy a large amount of BTC stock, enough to get a large enough interest to keep VA-HALL-A open. Though and since my companions became regular customers (those who drank) Jill didn’t have to worry as much about money. It was funny to see her react to Yukari just popping up while she wasn’t looking. Honestly Yukari had a large part in keeping Jill financially sound. (I have to admit had I Companioned Akiha and Suika she probably would have had enough to retire to some tropical island somewhere by the end of my jump.

The sad thing about jumps like this is… they end. It was tough to say good bye to my friends there.

Er, only the flesh-as-magic-output thing. I'm not quite sure what the Mana Plane's limit is, but by default Illya still struggles against weaker-than-usual Servants. Based on how modern magecraft works, I think it could a matter of Ilya's circuit count limiting the power of magic she can release safely at any given moment without frying herself even with access to an arbitrary quantity.

Oh shit, this reminds me.

LEGEND OF THE 5 RINGS should've totally been on my jump wishlist.

I'm curious now though, what is Tarkir and why do they have dragaboos?

>>51136071
Not really. The crest gives you mo' circuits and generations of experience.

>>51136088
Nope.

I'd like to see one just for the laughs, though

>>
>>51136101
You should know. You're trying very, very hard to pretend you are not an actual problem when the entire thread's been telling you to shut up and go away. How many times have you deflected other people calling you out on your bullshit this very thread?
>>
Please please let's focus on something other than my fuckups.

So a new edition of MCU Part 2's WIP. All perks and companion options? Done. I'm looking for critique to make sure everything is balanced and if I didn't forget anything. Please be mindful and let me know of things.

>>
>>51136163
And you telling everyone you hate Dirge and ASA doesn't change jack shit either. All it does is piss of the thread. It's not going to bring the jumps you claim to want back.

You could've asked nicely, like he said. You decided to get salty, and now all you've guaranteed is that nobody cares about your "facts" and you'll be laughingstock whenever you try to bring this up for the rest of your stay here.
>>
>>51136101
We don't have a problem except where you stir one up for no reason. No one mentions dirge aside from you bringing him up to use against ASA. The only reason his jumps haven't been replaced is because no one cares enough about the settings to do it, but he's already given permission for us to make our own jumps to replace his. So what's the problem here, or are you just trying to stir up more shit using a jumpmaker that belongs to SB and not here?
>>
>>51136160
>>51136166
Let me rephrase that, could I buy a reality marble as my Noble Phantasm in the jump.

I'm asking because it seems really expensive in the jump yet it seems like it would be cheaper to get one as a NP.
>>
>>51136186
End of the day he doesn't want dirge back, because then he'd have to find a new way to attack both of them. Right now as it is he can make snide comments even if they get completely ignored and he can feel triumphant over it. That's how pitiful he's become.

>I'm curious now though, what is Tarkir and why do they have dragaboos?
Mongolian themed M:tG set. Dragons were driven to extinction ages ago and now humanoid clans are top dog, and they posture over who which of them are superior by way of emulating what they think dragons were like.

Then the biggest dragaboo goes back in time and changes the outcome of a fight between the infamous Nicol Bolas and Ugin (both draconic planeswalkers), which averts the extinction and the dragons resume stepping on the humanoids' collective necks while telling them how privileged they should feel over the whole thing.
>>
>>51136112
Tarkir is one of the planes in Magic the Gathering, and was once home to dragons spawned from storms created by Ugin, a planeswalker dragon. Then Ugin died and the dragons stopped coming and suddenly the clans that had been struggling under them were able to kill them off. The clans took on traits based on what they saw as the most important (dangerous) aspects of the dragons, such as their cunning or their hard scales.

That's what we see in the first set. A world of cool three mana clans that do nifty things. Then Sarkhan comes along and time travels and suddenly Ugin is back and dragons never left and everything is shit for pretty much anyone who isn't a dragon or very lucky.
>>

Would it be fair then to say that a First Magic user with some experience could just... summon more mana? Like, you cast a summoning spell asking for mana, and the mana that appears is more than what the spell cost you to cast? Obviously, you'd be limited by how long it takes to cast, how much you can summon per casting, and how much mana you can actually hold at any one time, but is this too crazy?

Awesome. Good luck Red!
>>
>>51136326
I don't know why you even associate with it. He's said outright that it's the shitposter that asked him to leave, so he left. Besides jumpmakers come and go all the time, we'll get another couple jumpmakers like him before long. The only thing that makes him different right now is that shitposter has latched on to him as new bait. If people are really that concerned, they should pick up the slack and finish his jumps so we have our own versions of them for use, and shitposter won't be able to rant anymore.
>>
>>51136373
I think that may be possible, or it may be possible to use it to summon a crest that would be perfectly compatible with you then graft that on for more power output, or an object that just produced it for you. Either way it would be a trick that would take some time to learn.

>>51136421
True magic thinks thermodynamics are some silly guidelines to keep children safe.
>>
>>51136373
I'd say yes, you could definitely give yourself infinite mana with the First Magic. The issue after that is that you can generally only channel so much at once. So while you could have infinite mana if you're skilled enough with the First Magic it's not unlimited. You can only use so much at one time.

>>
>>51136418
>Nobody actually wants replacement jumps. Only the actual shitposter even pretends to.
I'd rather have a replacement jump than to have the thing sit in WIP hell because anything associated with dirge has become shitposter bait. I'm almost expecting the shitposter to go on a crusade to get the rest of his jumps removed from the drive, with how persistent he's been about it.
>>
>>51136488
It is. True Magic makes absolutely no sense and abides by none of the rules of normal magic, including the law of equivalent exchange. You can absolutely get more mana out of the First Magic than you put into it.

>>51136373
Phew, I thought I was the only one to think of something like this I also imagined couldn't logically be possible because reasons

Um. More seriously, if we based our estimates of the First's mana yield from other True Magic "systems" that do similar things (Zelritch's sticks, the Grail etc) I think it would be more probably that the First would let you create something-a ritual, a catalyst-that generates what is effectively mana ex nihilo. It's mentioned precision is key to using the magic, so I imagine it would start off with a very big ritual and the trick would be to make it more efficient until it's as portable as the 2nd's. Or maybe you can generate a small crest that supplies a lower rate of mana earlier on. Or maybe, just use the magic to increase your mana circuit count.

I dunno.

>>51136395
>note the conditions on them

I did, actually. It's only my opinion but I still think they're worth it the other way around. If you feel otherwise you could always buff the former and restrict the latter a little more, but of course it's your decision, I just think the former would generally get more mileage.

>>51136488
True Magic is a "miracle" in the sense it is something that can't be accomplished by modern means at all, not in the sense of being a solve-everything problem. Zelretch for example badly crippled his own magic circuits using the Second to blow up a TYPE.
>>
>>51136418
Then stop pretending whatever you're doing is justified.

By your own logic, you've accomplished nothing except insult and belittle people worth more than you ever will be.

>>
>>51136619
>Sensual Voice perk, where is this from?
That is Killgrave's power, you know, the Purple Man.
>>
>>51136552
Eh. I'm just saying, it's not that powerful considering it only guarantees they'll hear you, not necessarily that they'll listen to you.

>>51136478
Because I didn't put it in MCU part 1.

>>51136454
In all honesty? Because the catalyst was me trying to encourage him to think better of himself and to ignore people at SB who were giving him shit over FFX not having enough 'game mechanics' but not willing to make their own jump about it. He logs off, never comes back on, and we all know how the song and dance goes. So yeah, of course I'm going to feel like I was the one at fault for driving him over there and feel like complete shit that he'd rather prefer that treatment instead.

>>51136619
Sensual voice is from Jessica Jones, like >>51136586 said. Also, the time limit was just more me kind of trying to throw out the best thing I could remember that would make sense. Also, it's Sling Rings. Yes, they will be purchasable.

>>51136601
There will be Insight Hellicarriers.
>>
>>51131827
Before Rick and Morty, I didn't think it'd be doable.

But, really, it'd fit fine given that we seem to have settled on a cosmology where each fictional world can have its own alternate dimensions/shadows, and still be in a seperate sphere from other multiverses.

You could probably do it as an easy end jump too, since the difficulty level really isn't that high compared to other things around here, and do shadow-walking in place of the planeswalker spark, but I'm more in favor of making it like the R&M Portal Gun.
>>
>>51136672
Not him but I remember now, he's the one Doom locked up to mind control the world in the comics right?

>>51136690
>it only guarantees they'll hear you, not necessarily that they'll listen to you

To be fair this does awfully remind me of a perk from Worm

>>51136707
I figure it's just multiverses all the way down.

And somewhere at the bottom, there's the big turtle-shaped multiverse that swims.
>>
>>51136690
So wait. You tried to encourage Dirge, to make him feel better and all that...and you think that's what drove him away. To that, I say: what. Even if you only thought that was part of it, it still wouldn't make sense. How would being nice to someone drive them away? That literally makes no sense. Unless Dirge is allergic to people being nice to him?
>>
>>51136707
Yeah all multiverses are kept separate within a larger Omniverse. Or something like that?
>>
>>51136552
No, it's pretty logical to assume that the First could give you more mana than you put into it. There's no equivalent exchange with the First; in fact, one of the reasons the First Magic is a big deal is precisely because it breaks equivalent exchange. Also remember that you are not "creating" anything with the First Magic, you are actualizing its existence. It's already there, you're just summoning it to where it already is. This takes an extremely small amount of mana compared to what it can do. So it's entirely within reason to simply pull an enormous amount of mana out of nowhere using a comparatively tiny amount of it.

Of course, there's the issue of channeling this magical energy into effects. Even if you can pull infinite amounts of mana it doesn't give you an infinite amount of power. You have infinite energy if you keep replenishing it, not infinite applicable power. You're like a hose with endless water; unlimited water in the sense that it can keep spraying forever but not infinite in the sense that it can apply infinite force.
>>
>>51136775
I Mean, ultimately it's up to individual interpretation, but that seems to be the common take.

>>51136736
Ssssh, the turtles will hear you.
>>
>>51135471
Agua Vita Redwater. Occasionally picked apart to make individual names, or altered slightly. Sometimes I'm just Vita, for instance. Or "Ms. Redwater". In One Piece I was Agua D. Redwater.
In Erfworld, I was Connie (because "Konata > Konnie > Connie"), because I actually literally appeared to be Konata in that jump for some reason.
In Kingdom Hearts I was Vaixt (pronounced: "Vexed", with a slight accent on the Ex).
In Megaman I was Doctor Sonata.
In Death Note I actually just went by K.

And there are probably a lot of jumps where I had completely normal names that were not my original. In my head, it's not static even remotely, and in fact recurring names are sometimes only because I up and decided to call myself that, and they're not even my "real" names... but I'm far too lazy to come up with sixty different names.
I mean, I already came up with like seven.
That's gotta be, like, a record or something, right?

>>51136008
That's prettymuch the whole reason I decided not to companion anyone from Undertale.

Well, except for Jerry.

Because fuck Jerry.

My reading of the situation is that he wanted critique, the issue being that most people weren't doing it because his jumps were rather long and there had been previous incidents caused by trying to point out a problem and getting some completely unrelated solution that nobody wanted. Yeah, but Mordru explained that they use magical artifacts mostly for effects that are too straining to hold for long under their own power. Think of is like this, when empowered by Dormammu they could do things they normally did in one dimension in another one where it is more difficult.

Moving between worlds without a sling ring is something they never do anywhere, perhaps it would be feasible with their enhanced powers but they would have to figure it out which would probably involve a great amount of research and practice they didn't have time for.
>>
>>51137000
Dormammu's buff had more to do with the Mirror Dimension than a general magic buff, so it probably wouldn't have helped with making portals like that.

/speculation

Well, the way I remembered it explained MCU magic works by siphoning dimensional energy into a focal point right? So I figured the sling rings exist to open a breach in space-time at a specific region. Whereas the rubik's cubing is what happens when you have interdimensional energy just sloshing everywhere like an Entity on a drunken bender.

It's the difference between cooking a meal and setting your house on fire. You have to concentrate really hard to not make everything go pear-shaped, or lose your grip on the magic entirely, so maybe the strain actually comes from the concentration needed to focus the energy into a specific effect? Would explain all the martial arts training.

And like Red said, the cubing seems to only work in other dimensions unless you tapped Dormamu for power. Interesting that Asgardian magic seems to have no truck with this sort of thing; maybe "human" magic is as alien to the local cosmos as time is to Dormamu's realm?

Not with all the elephants snoring atop them, they won't.

>>51136776
Ah, I think I explained myself poorly-the "channeling" was exactly the limit I was talking about. I noticed people don't just sling the other Magics willy-nilly, they build things to refine their output.

So the big ritual=>small ritual was my way of explaining your hose analogy; I imagine as you git gud at the First, you invent/actualise more and more efficient rituals which, to extend the metaphor, either squeeze the hose for more water pressure or loosen the tap.

>>
>>51137123
Ah, then that's right. As you increase in skill with True Magic, particularly certain types of it, you'll end up needing tools to boost your output. The First Magic is the easiest in this respect, however. There's no rituals or lengthy process necessary since you can simply make those tools with the First Magic. On the other hand, people using the Second Magic would need to create something like the Jeweled Sword to channel more power. But someone with the First Magic could simply create something like that with the First and then use it to enhance it immediately without any need for forethought, the expense of resources, or having to carry the thing around with you. In this way, while the First Magic is far more difficult to learn, it's also more convenient to use and largely cuts out the middleman by simply allowing you to create these things without the need to devote time or resources.

Ok. Some things. The first MCU jump, imaged and looking nice. I hope you give this the same treatment later. Also, I think you started that one when the plot starts. And why this one is coming in 5 years later. It would be better edit that one to start that one earlier, and since the backgrounds about SHIELD, set it so it ends a bit after the time when SHIELD would be officially disbanded after the brohaha and went underground.

Then have this jump be the stuff after that, and have backgrounds named after something other then shield.

The fact that all the new perks inspired by recent events not having an attached background just seems wrong. Either try to make them fit. Enlightenment (Drop-In), Pymtastic (Tech Expert), Spirit of Vengeance (Operative), ???? (Tac/Comm) sort of make sense, but haveing new backgrounds is better.

Have some Shield/Legacy Perks that are normally general perks but are discounted by a continuity reward if you stopped SHIELD from bring disbanded at the end of the last jump.

> ...what was your title in Fallen London? Seven is a...special number there.
Seven isn't the canon number or anything. It's just how many I -- that is, the person behind the keyboard -- managed before I said "fuck it".
Agua
Vita
Redwater
Vaixt
Connie
Sonata
K
Connie was actually my name in Erfworld -- I popped with that name, and I'm pretty sure the Titans or Fate or whatever the fuck were having a big joke about it.
K was just the title I went by, same as L and N had theirs.
Vaixt was absolutely made up on the spot, because I wanted a Nobody name, because I was a Nobody.

The number's not really significant. Or even completely accurate.

Also, I have a "real name", entrusted to certain companions, but it's not actually my real name, rather it's a slight bastardization of a nick name I go by in real life, because even when I open up to people it turns out there's just another barrier.

... anyway, my title in FL was "Redwater Alchemist", which was also the same title I went by in Fullmetal Alchemist.
I didn't get that title by the State or anything. It's just the title I went by.

I'm also vaguely aware that my name in Naruto was something that actually sounded Japanese, but I'm far, far too lazy to come up with something.

>Jormungand(not gonna lie, just lazy.)
>Let It Die(I'm not sure where to start, it's probably just gonna be a gauntlet for the sake of not trying to figure out how origins work in the weird roguelike way it works)
>Cucumber Quest(it's a cute setting and I wanna do my take on a goofy stylistic JRPG jump a la Paper Mario)
>Kingdom Death(Not sure about how to handle this. My gut says a Gauntlet if only because it feels like a strong case of dark souls meeting darkest dungeon)
>SaGa 1 or 2...i like the plot of SaGa 1 because it's just a simple scale the tower plot but I've heard that 2 /the remake of 2 is super tight but has a different plot
>If not that, one of the dragon quests. Probably 9.
>A few other things not worth mentioning either for being a problem to even get the claim for or being too hard to start on

Gold digger being the one I wanna focus on but...again, the density of stuff going on is tempting me to try and split it up by focus (Ancients for treasure hunters, space for the space stuff) but that seems excessive for one setting no matter how kitchen sink it is

>I hope you give this the same treatment later
I'm thinking about it. The only problem is how many times I'd need to bitch at someone to image it every time I updated it.

>Also, I think you started that one when the plot starts
You are correct.

>It would be better edit that one to start that one earlier, and since the backgrounds about SHIELD, set it so it ends a bit after the time when SHIELD would be officially disbanded after the brohaha and went underground.
Except they're rebuilding S.H.I.E.L.D., so the backgrounds are still appropriate. Also, it's saner in regards to jump building, as it's way more tied into itself than say, Kamen Rider. I'll definitely think about changing the time period you start in, though, it's a fair point. But the backgrounds are likely staying.

>The fact that all the new perks inspired by recent events not having an attached background just seems wrong
Well that's what happens when you have a bunch of things everyone is going to want that doesn't quite fit into a section. That's been the usual gig, plus a lot of those perks are above and beyond anything else in the setting. That's why they're priced as though a discount was already applied. On top of that a lot of those owners are just... their own thing.

>>51137696
>Does Like a Spider also give MCU Spiderman's strength? Cause the little dude can lift like a motherfucker.
No, you would need to buy Enhanced Strength to do that.

Still, I'd be really excited to see one completed, especially by you.

Hey, blade, is this a viable restat change?
I want to change the way the level up stat points you get work so they don't count for how hard it is to grind the next stat point. That way I won't have to hoard my level up points forever for fear of wasting them.
What I mean is if I have 15 strength and allocate 25 points into strength because I leveled up 5 times and then go weightlifting to level up strength I still count as having 15 (not 40) strength for how hard it is to get more strength.

Here is a W.I.P of the drawback section, feedback and suggestions are encouraged. Also would you like to roll for the time period you begin or start from the beggining of earth to the death of Joseph? thought I could just add a 0cp option for that.

Tower of Babel: God stopped the construction of the tower of Babel by changing human language, but you should already know about that since you were present when it happened, in fact you were also affected by it, it's such a shame that nobody around speaks your language…

Mark of Cain: When God put a curse on Cain for his murder of Abel he put a mark on him to deter anyone from killing him, and the one that dared to do it despite the warning would receive vengeance seven times worse, but it seems that you didn't get the memo about the last part.

At some point in your stay you will kill Cain: maybe you fell on top of him, tried your new final move on him or he was an indirect causality on your war with God, regardless of how you kill him you have inherited his curse enhanced sevenfold.

The more you stay in one place the more the land will attempt to kick you out: famines and bad weather follow you around and the only way to minimise the damage they do is to keep moving, staying on one place for a long time will amplify the effects, staying one week in a place will bring calamities that could destroy a small city with ease and leave no trace of a city ever existing.

Yeah, it's just a custom in Hawaii. It's common in a lot of languages. In English it comes and goes, strangely, there are times and places where it's normal and other times when people think it's weird. Jumper almighty: God is angry with the world jumper and he is ready to start anew, but he sees you as an exception to his wrath and is willing to give you a test to see if you are worthy of surviving. You and your companions will begin this jump without your powers and warehouse, near your starting location you will find a chest containing basic construction tools and a couple of stone tablets detailing how to build a enormous ship. In case you hadn't realized, you will have 100 years to build an ark that can withstand 40 days and 40 nights of rain and 1 year of mountain high sea level while living with a pair of each land and air animal in existence.

That's not a justification Blade, that's you changing canon just because. Is this a thing in series or is this just you changing something for the sake of changing it, despite it not fitting canon at all?
>>
>>51139119
>God as a companion
If God is truly Omnipresent, that is unnecessary.
>>
>>51139062
Fourth origin could be Fallen Angel, inspired by Lucifer and the Grigori. As for that drawback, sounds good.

Speaking of drawbacks, here's one: help guide mankind after their fall, trying to lead them to being faithful servants of God.

>>51139113
Eh, there are a few drawbacks besides DeSu with challenges like that, though I suppose I'm just used to using scenario like drawbacks.
>>

Demon? Fallen Angel? Grigori? Nephilim? Weren't there different groups of humans?

The published Charms are a just a small fraction of all the Charms they actually have, though. Yozis are made of bazillions of charms.
>>
>>51139248
Presumably because the Jumpmaker thought it would be a fun option to have.
>>
>>51138992
Err, no? There are two ways to raise stats in the gamer; by performing actions related to the stat (e.g. studying for int) or leveling up and putting the stat points into the stat directly.thing is, increasing a stat from 15 to 16 is much muuuuuch easier than doing so from 150 to 151 through the first method despite the stat increase being the same. Level up stat points on the other hand always raise the stat by one reguardless of how much of it you have. This creates a system where of you use the points early on you're gimping yourself because it would be more effective to hoard the stat points and use them when you naturally have huge stats already. All the restat change does is make it so points gained through the second method don't make the first one harder so you don't have to hoard. The first method still sees diminishing returns as normal, it just doesn't factor in points gained through the second.

>change HP magic to have to be cast by saying spells backwards because it's a fun option to have
>change Stands to be made of goo because that'a a fun option to have
>change magecraft to make you shit your pants because that's a fun option to have

This place has given me a really low opinion of The Gamer's fanbase. At least narutofags and bleachfags seem to be sticklers for canon.
>>
>>51139279
So it's making it better then the original power, despite supposedly just being to make it a little different?
>>
>>51139306
>change Stands to be made of goo
Do you doubt this is a stand?
>>
>>51139266
If it had any basis in canon I might agree but so far all I've seen is "I wanted it in because".
>>
>>51139329
>"I wanted it in because".
That is an accurate description of The Gamer and its perks, yes.
>>
>>51139306
>change Stands to be made of goo
But a goo stand is perfectly viable, I'm pretty sure there were several goo stands.
>>
>>51139248
>>51139266
So I don't have to answer every single 'blade, can I x?' question.
>>
>>51139248
Frankly, it doesn't matter. Perks and powers don't have to be carbon copies of what they're based on in canon. Look at literally every Worm power, for example. Or a shit-ton of other things that are either different, better, or worse than their canon counterparts. Why? Because you're not the character, you don't have to share the exact same power. Why let you make OC Stands? OC NPs? The list goes on.

>>51139306
You're an idiot. Not only are two of those things actually possible in their respective systems, they're altering entire fucking systems. The Gamer power doesn't have immutable rules in itself, it's one of many possibilities within a set of rules.
>>
>>51139402
Except you do because this perk is a thing. If it wasn't, they could just look at what the Gamer can do in canon and know what they can do through that.
>>
>>51136149
So that asterisk next to Enlightenment will be referring to a nerf that makes it borderline useless, right?
>>
>>51139322
>>51139377
Alright, Stands were a bad example. But still.

>>51139418
It would help if either the jump or jumpmaker explained what these nebulous "rules" are because as far as I can tell every single conversation about The Gamer devolves to people making up whatever bullshit they find coolest at the moment.

What stops someone from, say, importing Skyrim mechanics and then abusing the Enchanting exploit to become functionally untouchable?
>>
>>51139306
Literally one of the first enemy Stands, Yellow Temperance, was a Stand made of Goo.
>>
>>51139418
All of those are examples of systems of power with many different possible things. The Gamer is not. It is a single power that we know how it looks and how it works. Try again but try to at least stay on topic this time instead of bringing up irrelevant examples.
>>
>>51139436
Yes, but only for you. It's a trap, the note will be along the lines of "everyone who complained about how this was going to be full of nerfs will get nerfed, everyone else gets the full power". Congratulations, you just played yourself.
>>
>>51139436
Merry Christmas to you too.
>>
>>51139436
It is a capstone booster dumbass, she mentioned this before. That asterisk will probably show what effects it has on other perks.
>>
>>51139113

>Kingdom Death
That last part you're mentioning is why it'd be a gauntlet. I only mention a gauntlet because of much the same reasons as dankest dungeon AKA It's thematically appropriate to kinda struggle in the darkness.
There's also alternative village-starts rather than the Lantern Hoard. Also i thought it just waited till the village got enough culture and knowledge to feast upon?

>Cucumber Quest

...Is there mixed opinions? I unapologetically love it to death
Is it similar to people who aren't fans of Steven U where it's something that's not immediately obviously flawed to me?
>>
>>51139521
It's just the shitposter senpai, he's really reaching this time.

Also I looked a little further down the links in the post and learned a few new things about him.
>>
>>51139464
They're not irrelevant, you're just dense. Worm powers vary greatly from their obviously-canon inspirations. The Gamer isn't, but it's one of many things within possibility. It is a single power within a system of power (i.e. the rules of Gaia, magic, chi, etc.) that manifests in a specific way.
>>
>>51139555
I wish Quiet came back again desu. I know he's probably just gearing up to come home or something but still.

>>51139306
Since when do jumps have to include only things present in canon? Plenty of jumps have stuff not present in the original material.

>>51139313
No shit anon? Spending CP on improving a power/perk is usually expected to improve the perk/power. You're giving up other nice stuff you could choose from the jump for increased convenience on one power (because that's all it is. Convenience of not having to wait to use your stats for maximum efficiency) seems like a fair trade.

How pissed off would everyone in the Dark Souls universe be if I just extinguished the flame? and how powerful are they? I understand I have to worry about the gods, but could a jumper handle them with adequate preparation?

Well looking through it again I have most of the same complaints.

Newgenics is still probably too good, Being able to inheret everything even with training time is an enormous force multiplier.
I guess it's not so bad since it's 800cp, and it has so much competition, but it still seems like too much.
There's a reason why what happens with jumper kids is usually left alone

Special trait is still build your own touhou power. Could do with being more expensive than 100cp/300cp even if it takes forever to get to that level.

Xianxia protag is become the mary sue the perk. However it's actually what Xianxia protagonists are like so I don't know what to think about it.
I'd prefer it wasn't in there though it's the kind of thing that you have to buy if you're powergaming, but then the rest of the chain is a lot less fun.

Spiritual transfer stone seems a little bit much for 50cp.
Infinite storage is a big deal even if it's just spiritual energy.

The drawbacks seem a little too easy too. Dunno about time extension being able to be taken as much as you'd like.
Immortal hero is one thing, but getting cp each time is perhaps not the best idea. Maybe cap it at 5 or 10 times?

I do love a lot of the names of things, very nice.
I'm going to show Fook You who's boss of this gym assuming it gets accepted. Although you don't really have to mention he doesn't scale if he doesn't.

ALRIGHT SIT THE FUCK DOWN, TIME FOR A LESSON.

So the Progenitor Virus is known as the 'Stairway of the Sun', and was a multi-species viral agent that was non-carcinogenic, meaning it doesn't cause cancer shit. It was a rite of passage for a local tribe for those who wished to rule. Those who didn't have the 'right' which in this case was the special genetics needed, died. Those who DID, gained great strength and was said to rule for centuries.

So in short, it basically turns someone into a better version. You know the Tyrant? The thing we keep seeing fuck up everyone's shit? That's a corrupted version because the T-virus was a variant of Progenitor mixed with Leech DNA. Of course this was a further variation of the Type-B strain, which was used on Lisa Trevor and pretty much was part of why she was so fucking hard to kill. At least, until Birkin shoved the G-virus in and flat out made her fucking immortal.
>>
>>51139942
Looks good. The Xianxia Protagonist perk needs to be modified though. Maybe change it so the parts about always defeating your enemy and always finding a way to grow stronger aren't absolute.
>>
>>51139942

...Guh, I want this to be good, the concept is...interesting but it's the sorta thing that can be messed with.

I'll actually take a look and see what works and what doesn't.

I will suggest right off the bat though, as someone who's actually MADE a perk similar to Xianxia protagonist: You're gonna have to limit when it procs.

for "Ranbu Escalation" i made it proc off of an otherwise unbeatable situation and even then the benefit provided was a way out of an otherwise doomed situation that needed to be actively seized and capitalized upon.
You may wanna find a thematic limitation for the plot armor and advancement aspects based on the genre

Mostly coming through to pick up some companions. They're cheap here and it's relatively easy to have some fun with OC interplay. General plan is to try to derail Medusa's plot before Asura is revived, because I don't want to see the effects of the Madness Wavelength on my psychic powers. Other than that mostly just sit around, have a good time, hang out on my boat, and maybe see about progressing my Seed of Agito along a more spiritual path.

So looking at it the best build seems to be take everything and accept your several hundred eon stay. Of course that's actually a good thing for the jumper since so much xianxia stuff only gets better with time.
I don't think I like that. Makes it less about careful building and more about cheesing your way through the timesink. Although you could do the same thing in Imerium of man it's a lot less pleasant to stay in 40k.

Since you're here though I have a question about the jump itself. If we choose to be mystical beings can we still do training and such the same way as humans do?
I'd imagine that it just opens up more options rather than preventing us from doing things the normal way, but I'd like to be sure.

Reading now. Let's see the problem of the Xianxian Protagonist could be fixed with a few things to clarify it. The 'ridiculous levels' of Plot Armor seems to be directed at keeping you from dieing an ignoble death (One outside of battle and without drama) Digger here >>51140240 has a fairly good fix for your absolute problems so please don't let it get buried, which I get is in theme for the genre but Jump Chain absolutes are either hamstrung with thematic limitations or become automatic 'I Win' buttons. >Most of the wanderer stuff actually
Be still my heart...
er. Criticism now, take it with salt as I don't do this often but this is...really promising and I want it to be good
-
I'm guessing that the lack of 800 for Mystic Beings is made up for via the fact mystic beings are above humans at the outset by a mile.
Reincarnation seems...uh. A bit underpriced but then again I'm not aware of how common or even relevant having a previous warrior's lifetime of memories and the like are in these settings.
Same with Pharmacist and Blacksmith, I imagine they make sense if Xianxia are as high power as I hear. Otherwise, maybe an extra 100 or two? Granted, I feel like I'd be strapped for points already.
The harem and romance perks are kinda awesome too so. Thumbs up from this horny bun.

in addition to my comment on Xinxia protagonist: You can instead of having it be a big strong perk, have it be something like an 1000-or-so perk that is a package deal of a number of perks already in other trees?
Like from what I'm seeing maybe a package deal of "Teach Me Master", "Live Another Day","A Cave Filled With Wonders" and maybe Reincarnated?

This is only perk-wise, items and companions are coming afterwards. Still. My heart.

That seems like best all-around virus available in Jumpchain, but doesn't it seem a bit… unstable?

I mean, canonically, vampires and lycans both exist because two brothers born with it were bitten by a fucking bat and wolf, respectively.
Not to mention the escalation shit, with the lycan derivative that can apparently pull mass from nowhere to get 12 feet tall. Actually, I think ALL lycans pull that shit, to an extent. They do seem bigger when transformed.
But that's weaksauce compared to the bullshit the protagonist keeps pulling.
First she just in the top five strongest vampires ever, then she gets immune to sunlight, and now she's a speedster.
Has anybody else noticed the unnerving number of similarities between the Underworld movies and the Resident Evil movies?

Honestly, I really like it. There's a good variety of perks, items and companions that suit the genre well.

A perk for enhancing your talent and luck along with some significant plot armor is fine, rather appropriate to the genre actually, but the
>You will always find some way to defeat your enemy
line is a big problem.

The perks is fine overall, just tone it down with the absolutes or do as >>51140490 suggests and add that your survival is not guaranteed when it comes to fulfilling them.

Selene's initial bullshit is something I'm unsure of. However, the second movie sees the sunlight shit and strength increase like with the 4th movie because she got a dose of a pureblood Corvinus strain that was active. So it's like taking a mutant strain then doubling down on the original, bolstering it like mad. The same thing was being seen in the 4th movie when the Lycans were getting blood from Eve in order to isolate the Corvinus strain and shove it in.

5th movie's power-up just came out of nowhere though. Like I enjoy the Nordic coven just having BALLS OF STEEL and being way more enjoyable than any vampire we've ever seen, but come on.

Xianxia Protagonist (600): This is it. You're the star of your very own Immortal Hero novel, and you have all the upsides that grants! As such, just about everything will be easier on you. You will benefit more from training, becoming much more potent and advanced than other students. You have a knack for finding long-lost items of great power and mentors of awe-inspiring might that can let you grow more powerful significantly more quickly. Techniques and training methods that are potent, you shall show great talent for.

Fate smiles upon you, for your enemies tend to have a more difficult time dealing with you. You will never be permanently killed by anything so mundane and pathetic as a mere fall down the stairs or choking on your food. Your plot armour is ridiculous, letting you walk away with stuff that would maim or ruin your lessers. Lastly, you gain some insight into the nature of your enemies; it will help you when confronting them.

How's that?

I should probably be REEEing at how you're from SB and how it's broken and overpowered, but your presentation is very nice and honestly I think you did a good job with it.
Other people in the thread have gone over most of what I would have criticized so I won't waste your time with repeats.

I have a feeling that permanancy elixer is going to get a hell of a workout from almost everyone that takes a scenario. The rest aren't as good, but that's more because cheat mode exists rather than any kind of flaw.

>>
>>51140640
I still feel like it's a little much, personally, when I think about pricing Perks with lots of different benefits, I figure out the pricing by looking at how I would price each benefit separately. To me, the first half reads as:

Knack for learning and training and improving yourself

Knack for finding powerful items and skilled mentors that WILL help you get stronger

Which would be fine priced as 600cp, or maybe 400cp, but then you have "ridiculous plot armour" as well as "immune to anticlimactic dangers and threats" plus "insight into your enemies nature". Personally, I would price these separately, as a 600cp Perk with a 400cp Upgrade. Or 500 & 500.

Thank you for being receptive to criticism.
>>
>>51140713
Sorry to rain on your parade, but I'm >>51140724
and on second thought I think it should be massive plot armor OR talent. Personally leaning to the former based on what little I know of the genre.
>>
>>51140640
This isn't much of an improvement, desu famalam. Its mechanically doing the same thing as the last tone. You Win: The Perk is lame.
>>
>>51140387

>>
>>51140640

>>
>>51140640
I think a skill buff makes more sense for the Xan Protag perk. Make it a good skill / talent buff, but don't just toss a bunch of shit under one banner.
>>
>>51140692
How would you narrow it? It's meant to make you into a Xianxia protagonist and they all have that sort of stuff. If you remove things from it then it kind of shortchanges you compared to the genre.
>>
>>51140771
Eh, even so. I can't force you, but I strongly recommend you not try to bite off too much in one go. Seen too many folks drop stuff because of IRL business.
>>
>>51140747
To append this, I think it should cost your total base budget because as written, it's all you need to succeed at the Jump. You don't need to pick up any other Perks or special Gear, because this Perk gives you the Plot Armour to survive until you gain the abilities and equipment you need, ALSO derived from this Perk.
>>
>>51140782
You could always buff the price then.
>>
>>51140640
>>51140666
Notttt quite yet.
as much as I love Newgenics I wanted to mention a small adjustment to be made. I noticed Newgenics makes even fiat-backed perks inheritable. I'm...not 100% against this (granted I'm Biased as I've been secretly working on my own home project of having the strongest seed ever but that's unrelated) but you may wanna further limit it a bit. Maybe it's a ritual to pass on the fiat part from you to them directly? Similar to how something like Sacrificial Bestowment works?

>>51140564
Yes to both! Didn't see that...
Huh, it's interesting, I get more questions on Neo-heisei part 1 than any other part really. Like I've had floods of rulings after they're released but NH part 1 has the longest consistency in questions
>>
>>51140782
Then maybe it shouldn't be just one perk. Maybe there should be a series of perks that gets you there. Other jumps don't feel the need to give you one perk to turn you into the ultimate MC. They parse that out in a variety of ways. The one perk bit is lazy and a gimmick.
>>
>>51140713
I'm not super clear on the genre - can you tell me what's going to happen if I go Mystical Being in terms of power and training?

Somewhere I saw someone suggest that you're effectively trading long term potential for immediate power, or the ability to learn a broad range of techniques for the ability to be /really/ good at the things your focusing on. What was the intended distinction here between mystical beings and everything else?
>>
>>51140789
>I think it should cost your total base budget
Just no.
>>
>>51140640
Much better but it could be a bit clearer, also possibly increase the price to 800.
>>
>>51140825
Mystical beings can get a /lot/ of upfront power but will have lower improvement speeds then the other lines.
>>
>>51140782
>inb4 interjump balance
Xanxia Protagonist is doing what other jumps do with several capstones or expensive perks all rolled into one perk. It's a softcap, enhanced learning, and plot armor all in one perk. That's bullshit anon, and you know it.
>>
>>51140782
>>51140805

I still posit that a package deal of other perks for 1000 (and maybe a buff on one or two of the aforementioned perks) might work better but that's just my concept.

>>
>>51140856
You mean like how no one bought the 1000cp perks, even when they were undiscounted, in the Fate jump?
>>
>>51140820
Hmm, as written the offspring need to train for ten years to get the powers from one of your jumps. I guess it would then take another ten years to get up to the skill you had with those abilities during those jumps...so...it would take them twice as long to reach the level you were at when you concieved them as it took you to get there.
>>
>>51140848
It's gotten to the point where if you don't like the jump, ignore its existence. The problem with the perk is basically people not agreeing with the author over whether a lump sum perk should be offered or not, but there's nothing inherently bad about it. It isn't violating any rules besides your sensibilities.
>>
>>51140856
Not really. Viking Saga has a similar perk and it's retarded expensive and requires you to take an end of the world drawback for no points. It's interesting because it makes people make hard decisions instead of just handing shit out with no thought.
>>
>>51140856
>>51140835
As I said, it should be separated into two. The effects are dissimilar enough that there isn't really any good reason for them to be one Perk. Many jobs offer you the ability to become like the Protagonist, but most don't do so in one Perk. They spread it out over a Tree of Perks.
>>
>>51140885
Except they don't need anything else. The perk, as an anon described above, gives you everything you need to succeed as a Xianxia protagonist.

>It doesn't seem to make the quality of jumps improve, and just seems to make everyone feel bad that they don't meet some anon's standards.
Look, you're new, I get it. This process seems harsh and it is; content creation on /tg/ is not for everybody. There are plenty of other sites, of which you seem to be a part, that have much more lax standards. Look at the earliest jumps and look at the jumps that are being made now. Look at the early jumps made by jumpmakers that are still creating, you can see an improvement in the quality of jumps produced. So yes, pointing out lazy jumpmaking and low-rent powergrabbing does make things better.

>You and the jumpmaker don't agree, good for you, are you going to volunteer to rewrite it for him?
No I will not help him remake it. That's on him. If he wants it on the drive he should revise it. Hell, he's posting it here because he wants it on the drive. His trepidation demonstrates that he understands that his initial offering is fucked and he's going to get savaged. That's part of the process. Sheltering him will not help him.

It's fine. You didn't do anything you need to apologize over.
Asking questions when you don't know something is totally normal.
>>
>>51141149
Pretty lowish power for a jump with life creating magic if i remember right. You got a long war with both sides throwing super powered monsters at each other with the higher powered ones being capable of destroying your usual medieval towns, though i think it took a few to do that. Since you went to Hive Quest though you shouldn't have any problems with the locals unless you do something really stupid or take that drawback where each side gets stronger with time and wait around for a long time
>>
>>51141178
If he did something like 42d that could work. However, he'd also have to do what Brelin did and put a hard cap on drawback CP for it to be at all balanced.
>>
>>51141188
Xianxia is a very broad genre that basically makes Exalted look like kid's play, which is normal, since Exalted drew inspiration from very early Xianxia. There's basically no limits to the feats that can show up in Xianxia, it's just based on the author. There's nothing really in the jump that go outside of people's stereotypical perception of Xianxia, though it doesn't really do a good job of showing what Xianxia is beyond the stereotypes.
>>
>>51141188
Sometimes a jump drops and we get fired up about it because people want it but it's broken as shit. So people are posting back and forth because there's a contingent that wants it right now, which isn't in and of itself bad, and there's a contingent that wants it done right.

Are there any perks that will allow me to form a mental link with other people and animals that let me speak to them? I wanna be able to give orders from a long distance without having to know where they're at to speak telepathically.

>>
>>51141188
Yah, it's fine. The genre's kinda weird to handle as a jump for reasons outlined.

>>51141195
I really feel like then it should just be an expicit package of pre-existing perks, as someone mentioned here
>>51140941
The fact that there's overlap at all kinda is why it feels weird. An option that is basically "A bunch of these different perks buffed and combined into one" is odd as hell, at least for 600.
We're just arguing in circles tho, so let's lay out the options
*Keep the updated version(some people seem fine with it)
*Bump the price up(mentioned, 800 seems reasonable if 1000 is too heavy for people)
*Change the mechanics of the perk(I've been pushing for this because it READS like a package deal, might as well make it a package deal)
>>
>>51141084
Everyone becomes weaker as you grow stronger. The Perk expressly states that you always excel at training you receive from any Teacher, and explicitly states that you will be better than their other students. Consider the setting and context for this Perk. This is from a Jump representing the poster Genre for escalation. If you can find Godly Teacher, who's pupils are all minor or lesser (but still powerful) gods, this Perk will make you better than them, hence they're your lessers. This enhances your Plot Armour, which in this case, would mean that you can walk away from harm that would "maim and ruin" other gods. As long as you can find a strong enough Teacher, which the Perk itself also helps you find all on its own, you could, and in fact, you WILL surpass anyone who might seek to learn from that Teacher.

It's almost like it feeds itself. It's not a static level of plot armour, it gets better the more powerful you are, and the Perk kind of dances around stating a limit.
>>
>>51141292
The same thing that happens at low power: punching and kicking. The only difference is that instead of breaking furniture as they fight they're breaking universes.
>>
>>51141292
The author is masturbating with two hands and writing with his teeth.
Same as fanficion with endless escalation it's because people like biggatons.
The plot doesn't matter it's all about getting those big dollars and ranking high on the charts so you can do it again.
>>
>>51141149
I wonder what Heavens would feel about pic related.
>>
>>51141292
They move to higher planes of existence and have crazy as shit kung-fu fights.
Think Exalted except they don't have to try and make a playable game out of it.
It also tends to take a really long time to train at higher levels. Like people can stop and meditate for a few thousand years as part of their training pretty regularly. People with multi-quadrillion year lifespans that have been training since the start might not have hit the top tiers.

Hey guys just a little update, just wanted to tell you I'm working on the Sailor Moon jump and that you should expect an updated wip by the end of the week. I'm actually pretty proud of what it's shaping up to be so far, actually.

Unlike my last deadline I promise I'll follow through on that. I've been making tons of progress. All that's left is to put the finishing touches, fine-tune some of the more OP perks and items, and fluff up the text so it's more natural and less mechanical now.

I am going to be including the original jump's perks, most items from the original jump as well, and taking everyone's comments about the WIP into consideration.

Can I get some advice from anyone who knows about pokemon?

The short of it is that I'm finishing up the writing for the pokemon jump in my new chain. Now, I don't actually know all that much about pokemon, but I always do it as my first jump. Anyway, I'm choosing what pokemon I'm bringing back besides my starter, and I want to know if it's reasonable for me to have all these. I started in Johto and I spent 5 of the 10 years traveling to different regions.
-Absol
-Rotom
-Riolu
-Beldum
-Magnemite

My time in that world wasn't very focused on battles so it doesn't matter to me whether it's an actually good team, I'm mostly worried about their rarity and stuff like that. Things that would make them unlikely for me to posses in the first place.

I would really appreciate it
>>
>>51141333
Some of the better authors can keep it interesting. Sturgeons law applies pretty hard at that point though.
>>
>>51141313
Because it's a generic. It being a generic is also why it's being spared a lot more criticism. The thing is the whole "packaged" nature works for some people, and doesn't work for others. This isn't a cut and dry issue like a lewd jump, and it isn't like people can vote on this. Hell the author probably isn't even here at this point.

drifters gauntlet is there enough info or content to make one?
>>

Great to hear. Out of curiosity, will there be a canon companion option?
>>
>>51141371
Considering Xianxias weren't written with a Western audience in mind, and considering the differences between the cultures and what media they appreciate, it's not all that surprising that they'd find it a powerwank. Not to mention most people can't read LNs to save their lives, so it's easier just to spew out stereotypes and what they've heard about the genre.

>>
Are there any jumps that have a way for me to treat weapons/armor as parts of myself or the reverse?
Without actually making it a part of me.
>>
>>51141364
Absol isn't that hard to find. There's a lot of them in Hoenn.
Rotom is rare as fuck and basically a pseudo legend. Even if it's not impossible good luck with that.
Riolu will get handed off to you by the plot at least a dozen times if Gamefreak has any say in it. Otherwise it's tougher, but they exist.
Beldum is another rareish pokemon. You can catch them in a few games, but it's got a garbage catch rate and it kills itself with double edge consistantly.
Magnemite is all over the place. You'll have no trouble with that one.
>>
>>51141364
Absol should be easy if you're looking for one and going to their habitats.

Rotom will be hard, probably the hardest on your list because there's so very few of them, but /should/ be possible. You may need to trade to get one, or you could go to Alola and hope the one the protag gets isn't a super special case.

Riolu will also be a tricky one, but given the amount of Lucario around you shouldn't have that hard a time if you're looking.

Beldum shouldn't be hard, just find a habitat.

Magnemite is the easiest on your list, and there are plenty of places you can get one.

Actually I was just thinking the whole thing reminded me mainly of wuxia, except with the odd DBZ reference here and there. You got the standard hero, old master, vaguely shifty noble. "Supernatural being" threw me for a loop though since I couldn't tell if we're talking things like qilins, phoenixes or Chinese dragons and it seems implied they're vaguely humanoid. Telepathy from Inheritance can do shit like that, kinda.

Kamen Rider Wizard magic(i'm 90% sure magic exists in other KR settings, though not probably under the same name) works like this:
There are certain humans called Gates, who have the potential for magical energy. Mostly they don't get to exercise it, due to the lack of seriousness in the research of magic as well as the rareness of gates.
However, due to the machinations of the BBEG a genuine true blue wizard in the form of Haruto was created. As far as we can see from Haruto(who is a very small sample size, to be honest) Wizards are Gates who have hit the point of absolute despair and faced their Phantom. By conquering and enslaving their Phantom, they are able to actively use their mana stores. It mostly appears to happen via channeling mana through special Magic Stones, in the form of Rings.

If you want the Grail Wars-tier shit, go for Ghost. The Heroic Eyecons have the summoned spirits of Heroes(in the Servant sense, even, as people like Houdini and Nobunaga are among their number) inside them that lend their power to Takeru and Makoto/Ghost and Specter

The version that was up in unimaged complete was a WIP that the author worked on for... it was either 20 hours or 20 days total and was really ashamed of, which got there by mistake.

Not how it works, anon. A jump needs to be posted to the thread for constructive feedback so everyone can have a say. Which we have had.

But Jumpmakers do not have to make every change someone wants. Or any change at all, even. They do not have to kiss your ring to get in the drive, because your opinion does not matter like that. If you want your opinion to matter in a jump, you had better be making the jump.

You had your say and have problems with the jump. I have my say and think it is alright. Jumpmaker has listened and puts the jump he thinks is best on the drive.

I'd say Journey to the West counts as xianxia, it's kind of the prototype for the genre. It's got a main character of low birth but auspicious destiny who masters cultivation, defies the gods, has some awesome kung fu battles, is defeated by a more enlightened being, and then goes on a huge adventure in exotic foreign lands to learn enlightenment himself.

So I might have come across a Rotom that way, but it does seem a bit unlikely by what your saying.

How many jump makers completely ignore what people say? One, maybe two? The overwhelming majority of jump makers do take feedback and anon comments have changed and tanked jumps. So that statement is completely false.

>I always thought of it as a folklore more than anything, tho.
That's because it is folklore. Journey to the West and Xianxia in general, was largely derived from a very old system of folklore, something that Exalted leeched off of very substantially. But Xianxia has evolved over time to focus on very specifically things whereas Journey of the West being a solitary piece of work hasn't changed.

Wait. Artemis Fowl was posted here? I found it somewhere else when I was looking for other sites that made jumps. What was the deal breaker?
>>
>>51141682
No I dont' remember a slender jump being on the drive.
I think that one's from somewhere else. Reddit perhaps?
>>
>>51141704
Not likely, the only stuff I've got is from what I've DLed from the thread.
>>
>>51141512
Good luck with the jump! I look forward to seeing the next iteration.
>>
>>51141717
Do you mean the Creepypasta one?

Um, definitely not ours Crux. Unless it's the Generic Creepypasta jump in the imaged jumps folder? Because that one was YJ's work and ours.
>>
>>51141682
I remember a WIP, but I don't think anything came of it.
>>
>>51141730
>>51141734
No, it's not Generic Creepypasta, it's an actual Slenderman jump. I was kind of leery about it, I don't know where I got it anymore but it's definitely being skipped now.
>>
>>51141734
...What is wrong with his /arm/?
>>
>>51141657
>How many jump makers completely ignore what people say? One, maybe two? The overwhelming majority of jump makers do take feedback and anon comments have changed and tanked jumps. So that statement is completely false.
And this jumpmaker has listened, and made revisions.

But the assertion that some anon will not allow it on the drive until it is revised to his satisfaction is BS.
>>
>>51141666
>This. Explains. So much about everything. I always thought of it as a folklore more than anything, tho. I mean it's the kind of thing kids and chinese as second languagers like myself read in class.
Oh, it definitely is folklore. Wu Cheng'en didn't write the book until the 16th century, the stories of the Stone Monkey King were around long before him. But it's clearly occupying that same thematic space that modern Chinese writers would draw upon to develop the wuxia and xianxia genres.

So how does it feel knowing you crushed Mardukth's smile and optimism last thread?
>>
>>51141741
He's a maquette, and therefore doesn't entirely correspond to normal human anatomy? Combined with some weird perspective, too?
>>
>>51141740
A mysterious file appears on your hard drive, its origins unknown... Watch your back, Crux.
>>
>>51141717
Was it this one? I don't remember where it's from either but it doesn't seem like anything strange about it besides the You & Home options.
>>
>>51141744
To a single perk. He hasn't responded to anything else or further responses to that one perk. Get over yourself already.
>>
>>51141741
That's an action-figure still, anon.
>>
>>51141762
God that looks garbage.
>>
>>51141703
A bunch of the low level perks were 'best planner ever' and 'ludicrous martial arts skills', and things like that.

HFY, basically.
>>
>>51141762
>Erotica
O-kay, then...
>>
>>51141744
>And this jumpmaker has listened, has made a single revision to a single perk, and has since stopped posting.
FTFY
>>
>>51141768
He's responded to a single perk because people keep ragging on him for that single perk, so what do you expect? It doesn't change the fact that he did respond and is willing to change things.
>>
>>51141768

That was because upon posting, the criticism was pretty much "JESUS Xianxia Protagonist is overpowered! Do something about it!" Then after the revision there was the shitstorm and posts explaining what the genre was.

Give it time, people will look over all the other stuff in it too.
>>
>>51141806
He already said he's working on it. Stop fucking around.
>>
>>51141685
>>51141703
>>51141785
And apparently Blade has the claim for it now? So, it has about a 50% chance of being good, 50% chance of being shit. But, 100% chance of being better.

>>51141768
You guys did thinks besides 'Xianxia protag OP, plz nerf'? Cause that's all I've seen so far.
>>
>>51141744
You say that like there's only one person objecting to the perk.
>>
>>51141816
And hasn't responded since, whether to that perk or to any other feedback, whether that was made before or after that one revision.

As I said, get over yourself and get over this guy. Your support is doing anything helpful at this point.
>>
>>51141762
Is this Mommy's work? Because I'm feeling a Mommy vibe coming from this.
>>
>>51141832
We do not speak of her, anon, for fear it will summon her forth.
>>
>>51141830
He's right here >>51141819. so are you just selectively ignoring him now?
>>
>>51141819
See? You obviously haven't read the thread because several posts before your first revision were giving feedback on other parts of the jump and several after it too. Diggers posts for one, which he made multiple talking of.

>>51141826
You too. Read the fucking thread first you moron.
>>
>>51141826
There was some other discussion. They haven't been responded too much since Xianxia protag was the focus, but it was there.
Although it was a lot of opinion feedback rather than PLS nerf so it's not like it's being ignored.
>>
>>51141843
Cute aren't you? Are you from SB too or are you just so desperate to defend someone for some other reason?
>>
>>51141826
Here's two posts, both right after the jump got posted, neither of which have had any response from the maker since they were made. Now learn to read you fucktard.

>>51140127
>>51140455
>>
>>51141762
Yes, that's the one.

>>51141782
>>51141786
And that's why I was going 'uh, what?' at it.
>>
>>51141819
Don't let 'em get to you. Shitposter has his sights on you so he's ragging hard.
>>
>>51141850
You know on SB he actually is going over the other things people were talking about. Like Newgenics for example.
Just because they aren't getting a (You) doesn't mean a post is being ignored.
