So can a high rank of HSDW basically do everything magecraft can, but better?

In the time it took for the thread to die, I finished the entire Hero tree. That just leaves Rogue for perks, then I do Magic things.

http://pastebin.com/u4hKJ6hY

Let me know how it looks.
>>
>>51078367
Yay. I think I'll stay as a Tac/Comm.
>>51078393
I that's been stated in the past. Rune Magic overpowers it at the cost of requiring preparation though
>>
>>51078367
AAAWWW SHIT!
I'm staying scientist, yo.
The tech is getting whack as fuck.
>>
>>51078367
Hallelujah! Reading now.
>>
>>51078442
You just need to form the runes, right? So just have some ability that can project shapes into the air or onto material?
>>
>>51078367
>Toggleable Whedon-speak.

Perfect.
>>
>>51078367
Tone is fine, and the opening perk works. I'm interested to see how you swing the original origins to fit Marvel Phase 2.

I'd like to see the Strange offerings, both the magic and some of the items and artifacts from his movie. I'd also like to see some of the magic and magitech from the latest season of SHIELD. I know that's kind of a pain, because the season isn't done yet, but the Darkhold, the magical quantum gloves, and a few other things were neat.

Enhancing the Scarlet Witch perk or providing some method of boosting what was offered in MCU1 would be nice too. Wanda put the hurt on Vision in Civil War.
>>
>>51078367
>Enhanced Being
Is this something they actually say in-setting?
>>
>>51078426
I think I'm probably going to end up going with this, along with the Madoka Power Capstone. Decretum looks particularly great, though does the power scale in some way?
Also, will there be a Canon companion option?
>>
>>51078393
Past>>>Present in Nasuland. HSDW predates modern magecraft by like 4000 years, so it completely blows it out of the water. Even C-ranked HSDW would make pretty much all modern magi look like shit.
>>
So, another RWBY episode.

>>
>>51078506
They can't say mutant due to licensing issues and inhumans are a specific kind of enhanced being.
>>
>>51078367
>>51078426
Yes, yes, good! With these jumps, I shall continue on my path to JUSTICE!
>>
>>51078367
Eh. I'm a little disappointed that the origins are the same Agents inspired ones. The MCU has expanded and escalated greatly beyond that type of thing now, so I feel like that should be represented in the backgrounds. But it's not that big of a deal, really.

Hyped for it, regardless.
>>
>>51078524

>>
>>51078426
I have no idea how I'm going to build for this jump. I want all of the Madoka tree and the Mami half of the Hero tree. Assuming there's going to be a capstone boost and items, I have no fucking clue how I'm going to build for this.
>>

The more strongly you feel about your inner demons and flaws, the stronger the Witch will be. Assume that it grows the more you grow and experience. If you somehow lack flaws, then...I don't know, weaponized pet peeves?
>>51078611

>>

Red, the flavor text fits so well I can't help but read it in Samuel L. Jackson's voice. It's a good start and I can't wait to see the rest of it.

Also, I agree with the idea of Dr. Strange magic being an undiscounted Capstone Booster. It's a good spot for that much power.

...um, no offence but isn't that a bit of a stretch given how little we've seen of MCU magic so far? So far it boils down to making portals, doing trippy dimensional geography illusions, astral hopping and making weapons/barriers.

Unless you borrow ideas from the comics, I'm just not sure if there's enough material for it to represent a bunch of buffed perk abilities.

>>51078520
Worth noting there's one exception to this: True Magics. Far as I know, no HSDW user has ever brought down a TYPE.

So, months later I realized that somehow one of the Tennyson perks got deleted. It's been updated and readded. Sorry about that. I'll probably go back to my old jumps and modify them a bit. Mostly I'd just be fixing some grammatical errors and adding the Jumper's Contract to them.

Megumi stared in confusion at the two boys in the front seat convulsed wildly. It certainly seemed like an odd way to drive a car, but they seemed to manage it without sending them careening into the cement divider. They had mentioned that they couldn't drive any other way, but nothing could have prepared her for the sight of them actually doing it. And yes, she couldn't tear her eyes away. It was fascinating to behold, yet horrifying, like whales mating.

Worst of all was the sound that thudded into her bones. It threatened to shake her very soul apart. She vowed to never again miss the bus. No matter what.

Oh hey, couple of questions while you're here:

If you companion Ben, does his Omnitrix gain the same limitations as the purchasable one? (I know only he can use it.)

Does unlocking g the Master Control for the purchasable one also allow you to disable timeout and stay in the form indefinitely?

And does it have the extra abilities the canon one has? Like can I use it to modify someone's DNA?

Domotor, the Apologetic Crier, Warden Soul of the Nine-Tailed Scourge of Repentance

Motivation: Tout the righteousness of the heroic. Domotor has intimacies to such things as monuments, news media, biographies, and inspiring speeches. He has a negative intimacy for his brother soul Aranyu, who constantly harangues him for his help

Domotor is an anthropomorphic raven, bedecked in finery fitting to the surrounding culture, though with slits in his sleeves to make room for the wings on his arms.

The Crier is a master logician and rhetorician and these are the weapons he wields in securing his masters' reputations. When the Nine Gods or one of their souls does something questionable or simply alien, Domotor flies out to explain the event away. His voice is calming, his demeanor reasonable, and his logic unassailable. He leaves his audience assured that their new masters are beyond reproach and the incident should be ignored at worst, if he cannot reframe it to cast them as outright heroic. He receives a healthy stipend from the spirit courts for this work, which often sees him as a guest on news programs in the mortal world. When he sees a genuinely heroic individual maligned, he may be moved to defend them just as eloquently.

Domotor may also act as an advisor, whispering reassurances that his master is on the right path. He is great at banishing doubt and apprehension, but caution must be taken for he has little in the way of actual advice beyond his knowledge of the ebb and flow of reputation.
>>
>>51079654
as for specific spells?

A version of telepathy/communion that lets you hear the voices of ingredients

A spell that Causes a piece of a broken item to point towards its other pieces.

An epic level spell that overloads the local magic fields, creating a anti-magic zone

a spell that Creates subtle vibrations in the ground that unnerve and drive away insects

A spell that creates a field that causes projectile weapons to jam And possibly backfire

Yeah, but there's an entire race of Asgardians, probably a few at peak-level. The Hulk was a special incident that has yet to be reproduced.

If she doesn't want to put it in you could always wait for the agents of SMASH jump, that will almost definitely have a proper green hulk option.

>>
>>51079974
To be fair, there's also an option to be a Captain America supersoldier, which hasn't been reproduced either. Your back story is gonna be all kindsa fucked after you end up a Ghost Rider Asgardian Inhuman Mage or whatever anyway.

>>51079921
You're probably paranoid if you think I'm baiting, he even said it himself that he doesn't see any reason to stay here if people would rather just shitpost drama when he drops jumps off. People just need to accept that they drove him off with dramaposting, and what's done is done. The guy that keeps bringing it up knows this and wants Dirge gone, hence why he keeps bringing it up when he doesn't need to. We already had another anon in IRC consider making FFXV anyways didn't we? SB can keep this one.

If the abomination process was used on anyone without the super soldier serum they would be a normal hulk, it was the interaction between the two that fucked him up like that.

>>51080007
It was reproduced, the same super soldier program was used on the guy who later became abomination.
>>
>>51079993
Face it. Red won't offer Hulk under some flimsy-ass excuse of "oh he's too powerful compared to the rest of the jump."
>>
>>51080021
He seemed pretty lucid. Highly aggressive, but so is the Hulk most of the time. His intelligence and sanity were just fine under the bloodlust, though.
>>
>>51080061
It was a flawed super-soldier serum, though. So that plays a role, too. Whether or not Steve Rogers would mutate cleanly if exposed to gamma radiation is unclear. He might not mutate at all, even, given how his body filters out contaminants.
>>
>>51080059
Well technically Steve was a perfected recreation of Red Skull, not the other way around.

>>51080061
Was that what it was? Been forever since I saw that movie.
>>
>>51080084
>It was a flawed super-soldier serum, though.
It was a flawed recipient, remember that the serum enhances the traits of the subject which means if you aren't as pure and righteous as Steve Rodgers. . . you get the idea.
>>
>>51080133
>>51080130
It was BASED on the Captain America formula, but it was never used because of Side Effects.

That's why the Abomination was growing spines from his back BEFORE he got Hulk-blood.
>>
>>51080133
No, it was a flawed serum, too. They mentioned that in the movie, that it was an attempt at recreating the super-soldier serum that wasn't as successful as Erskine's work. The skeletal deformation that Blonsky experienced pre-gamma infusion (and which likely is the reason why the Abomination had the bone spikes) was an expected side-effect of the serum, not a unique consequence of Blonsky's mentality.

Sole Survivor [Eileen, Legendary]

Living in Goodneighbor fighting DEMOCRACY from afar, Coop still can't find first gear in this giant COMMIE CAR. Okay, that crossed the line right there pal. THE HEART OF FREEDOM WILL NEVER BE CHAINED BY COMMUNIST LIES! Assuming direct control over this nonsense here and now. Aaaaand done. Only destroyed what was already mostly rubble to start with. Now we're saf-UUUU?! Looking up from a crater I see myself waving a hand cheekily before going to town dissembling Liberty Prime Time piece by piece. Science, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayl! More seriously though this is quite a bind. Coop can't get a good hit in, Theseus has to bug out to avoid being caught, and once player 2 starts getting serious it becomes a game of blind rocket tag as we hide on all possible levels from one another. Like spec ops with knives, fumbling around in a deprivation chamber hoping to get lucky. If only I could find him on a psychic leve-oh right. Stopping by the warehouse I pull out the old dowsing rod, and sure enough it picks up. Cue chasing down the invisible synth with every weapon I can bring to bear. pt 1

Kolomon, the Gleaming Philosopher, Wisdom Soul of the Nine-Tailed Scourge of Repentance

Motivation: Learn the best way to live. Kolomon intimacies shift over time as he encounters new fancies and lifestyles.

Kolomon is a man who looks like he is made of gemstones. His skin is divided into patches, each of which gleams like a different jewel. His hair looks to be spun from precious metals, each strand a different material.

The Philosopher is something rare in the spirit world: a generalist. Over the years, he has been a minister in the government, a judge, and a researcher. He plowed the money he earned thus into living in extravagant hedonism, then retreated into asceticism to become an author, first of history and then of fiction. He has been an adventurer in the mortal world, as well as a priest and a soldier. He even caught the eye of Porrim and served as her consort for a few years. The one constant has been his love of philosophy and he will always drop his other duties for a rousing debate with a fellow academic.

Kolomon's long and varied life has left him a jack of all trades with friends throughout the whole of the spirit world. His true power is to capture others' feelings in the reflections of his body, which he uses to understand their lives and pattern himself after them for a time. Kolomon believes that if he can find a truly perfect life, his nature will permanently change, but for now he is content to explore everything the omniverse has to offer.

>Oh hey, couple of questions while you're here:
>If you companion Ben, does his Omnitrix gain the same limitations as the purchasable one? (I know only he can use it.)
It can't use broken aliens but most of its other functions are intact.

>Does unlocking g the Master Control for the purchasable one also allow you to disable timeout and stay in the form indefinitely?
Yes.

>And does it have the extra abilities the canon one has? Like can I use it to modify someone's DNA?
They can be unlocked by modifying the Omnitrix.

>>51079530
Canonically even the machine aliens have DNA.

Perks to vet employees and determine their true loyalty. Perks to be able to (re)build international spy agencies after half of them turned traitor and killed the other half and crashed the HQ('s) into a river. Perks to somehow afford to make the sort of BS SHIELD and Stark can do - even with international backing and Tony's Company there's a helluva lot of money being thrown around there - guess this one could be a loadsa money item.

Plans to make the Kursed stones, maybe with some theories on how to make them safer?

Perks to infiltrate places with your agents so thoroughly you really have to wonder why you let your enemies still exist to stop you when you could literally end them at any time?

Spider-man.

But seriously, a few perks based on Spider-Man now, with the option of expanding/adding more once the movie is out.

All in all I think you're off to a good start here, and look forward to the finished product.

If I may make a suggestion, maybe a perk for creating suits to battle certain foes, like the Hulkbuster armor (which is what made me think of this in the first place)? >>
>>51080519

You never come to appreciate your own survival ability as much as when you are attempting to murder your own roboclone. Turns out that sucker can really move if they have a mind to, and I'm fairly certain by the time this thing ended we were in another state altogether. Strumming a victory chord on the Gibson, I drag the shattered remains back to the nearest intact door and lock it up tightly before heading back. Fixing myself up with scrap and the weapons of raiders on the way, I link up with the gang in a bar where we all get drunk to celebrate the victory over whatever the hell that was. Placing a copy of myself into Coop's lingering symbiote setup I let it figure out how best to handle preventing radiation in a human frame and working up countermeasures. I have enough to worry about so time to delegate work like any leader.

Chasing off "prospectors" we salvage what we can of LPT, make a good trade in for Goodneighbor's gear for R&D then trek north to Sanctuary Hills. Negotiating with Codsworth, Theseus assists with R&D and directing Mjolnir Mechanica frames to clearing and fortifying the area for establishing a base of operations. Coop handles anything that looks at us funny, when not playing scrounged video games or chowing down on centuries old junk food. Turning away all visitors, we get more than a few synths or brotherhood recon units paying us a visit. Theseus appreciates their contributions to his work load. Leaving my copies to cover the place, I infiltrate the Institute with insider knowledge and a bit of flexing tech muscle. Pouring over the research, I pull up everything of value and cripple their synth press before purging remaining data of myself from the network. From there it's a fast traveler looting spree from D.C. to Cali picking up every piece of tech information possible before returning and leaving easter eggs for the likes of Yes Man or the NCR.

Months pass with Sanctuary Hills changing into a settlement compound covering the surrounding hills, and gas station patrolled by an amalgam of synths in power armor, settled by a mix of synths and travelers, mostly it just being our tree fort. Just bigger and mostly on the ground. We do have an actual tree fort because we're nerds like that. From a water purifier, to radiation shielding, to vending machines that make stuff on demand we turn it into a tech mecca with actual mini mechs of cobbled together tech. Sending out word to the Minutemen ahead of time, we decide that it's time to pull the plug on the institute by removing it's embedded agents from around the common wealth. Effectively they are left blind and inert for the present.

Waking up sleeping beauty from the icy tomb, time is given for her to adjust and decompress while Codsworth finally stops bitching at us now that his mistress is home. I actually just left him alone the whole time, seemed more amusing that way as everything but his house got nice as he acted the posh curmudgeon. Helping her along the way to seeing Shawn, she leaves disillusioned and I quietly remove the functionality of the place giving the scientists a chance elsewhere. Pushing out the brotherhood when it comes in, the railroad is ignored as it soon becomes defunct. Forming an adventurer party, the 4 of us now counting Eileen begin combing the wastes on a series of adventures. After a rousing chorus of "Come On Eileen" on her birthday, she finally gets back to some semblance of stable come a full year of warrior therapy. Knew that perk would come in handy eventually. Taking on the role of team mom the three of us found ourselves adopted by the newest addition.

Science, rebuilding the commonwealth, and slice of life adventures marked the rest of the decade. Sealing off the glowing sea, our anti rad measures see some measure of green return to the wasteland. It's a start, hopefully they can manage to see it through.

The Brand+300- BRING IT ON DEMONS! I'll Kill all you fuckers!
Wanted+200- Well when you try to star a new Nation you tend to have people who want you tend, it's to be expected.

So a man with fuck-huge wings and demon horns walks into a setting where people want to burn anyone with "inhuman" features at the stake.
And he tries to start a Kingdom/Empire. While Demons constantly try to murder him.

It's going to be 10 years of slaughter isn't it?
>>
>>51081636

>>

>>
>>51081768
Depends on the perk, although it would probably only slow it down. Anti-insanity stuff would almost certainly work, anti-corruption might work too depending on how it functions.
>>
>>51081766
I did that but I didn't wank away, and entire God damn planet.
>>51081773
yeah, but the fact that it's in the location Selection table seems to imply that. It's there for something right?
>>
>>51081706
The newest version stores it in computerised form in the watch.
>>
>>51081691
They probably used great out of jump technology.

The planet part could probably be be ignored by just building an incredibly large facility with extra small colonies of super computers handling the info.

Not just necessarily that, but miniaturization perks go a long way, and if you could process all the bio shit into just digital information you could just make a network analogue that your personal Jumper-made-Omnitrix utilizes innately.
>>
>>51081591
It's not magic, but if you give people waterbending using the scroll from TLA you could teach them bloodbending.
>>
>>51081766
Dick move to absorb him. If you're going to steal his knowledge do it using that perk in Animorphs that lets you keep memories from a morph you acquire. No reason to kill/eat him.

>>
>>51081920

Well, I personally would consider it the same as Ki or Chakra. It's much more purely spiritual in nature than most magic systems and it doesn't exactly use mana.

It's still supernatural, but I wouldn't consider it capital-M Magic for the purposes of things like The Path of Magic (JLD) or Gift of the Thousand Master (Negima).

Incidentally.

>>51081591
If you're willing to be a bit roundabout with it, The Path of Magic from Justice League Dark lets you teach any magical systems you have to other people through some type of gesture (sharing blood, formally accepting them as students, that type of thing). You'll still need the blood magic itself, but now any you have can be given to others.

For reasons I can't fathom, despite being a wannabe Pariah on speaking terms with Magnus the Red and basically running an Imperial outpost like Immortan Joe except with psychic vampirism instead of wife/water hoarding and more efficiently because my primary Warboys were other Necrons-the Emperor apparently decided to entrust me with the Black Death.

I mean. Sure, in the Civ timeline I may have prevented Chaos entirely through our alleigance but we came to a parting of the ways in the actual canon 40K timeline. He sabotaged my plan to ascend humanity collectively as the first Lord of Order and booted me from the Imperium's psychic space, I took several agri-worlds hostage to covertly strongarm a mutual defence pact between him and the Silent King that gave back a lot of Necron worlds.

All things considered though, we both kinda got what we wanted in the end at a later date.

Zyta, the Partitioning Rift, first fetich soul of Kanaya Maryam

Motivation: End conflict by separating aggressors from their victims. Zyta has intimacies for such things as peace, reconciliation, rainbows, and ashen romance.

Through the spirit world runs a river of blood. The flowing liquid comes in twelve colors, and wherever it flows the landscape parts to make way for the river that is Zyta. Zyta's nature is separation and she may rearrange the world accordingly, flowing through the ocean and leaving a freshwater lake on one side and a desert of salt on the other. The songs Zyta sings as she passes are enticing, and nearby creatures become entranced to come and drink from her, overcome with an aura of peace with their each drink.

When Zyta spies conflict, she will flow between the fighters and bid her banks to become infinitely far apart. In this state, no one may ever cross her, for her other boundary comes no closer no matter how far they swim or fly. She then emerges in her humanoid form, a beautiful pure white woman with fangs and the wings of bats. She will set about talking to the belligerents to understand the fight and mediate a resolution. Zyta is among the greatest negotiators in existence, quickly bringing all but the most determined or mindless to terms. The agreed upon conditions of these cease fires are mystically binding and Zyta can always feel when someone manages to overpower them and restart the battle anyway. Those who persist in violence find that her gentle demeanor hides an incredible fury as she wraps chains of blood around herself as weapon and armor both. The aggressor is soon drowned in the blood of her river.

Zyta is a busybody and a meddler. Though the Unassailable Fastness is enamored with her and often begs her to form a moat around him so that together they can be truly invincible, she cannot contain her need to fuss over her peers and she inevitably rushes out into the spirit world to bring peace.

In Worm, I sold Taylor access to my powers and her own for having control of her body for a minute per month. I used those minutes exclusively for things like drinking hot chocolate or eating candy, until the last month where I pulled out her soul and shoved it into an alternate Emma Barnes so I could take control, go back in time, and try to fix the setting.

It depends on who you believe. The New-U Stations are talked about in game and referenced as being a real thing by multiple characters. They're apparently built by the Hyperion Corporation and canon in the first game.

However, the head writer for Borderlands 2 went on record as saying that the New-U Stations were never canon.

In my opinion they do exist and Anthony Burch needs to stop being such a Handsome Jack about things.

How much meta knowledge do you pass on to your jumpers?
I assume that most of you pass your knowledge of the setting onto your jumper, but how about knowledge of jumpchain?

I personally have my jumper as completely unaware of the mechanics of jumpchain during a jump, so he knows things about settings but all he knows about jumping is that he winds up somewhere new every ten years

>How much meta knowledge do you pass on to your jumpers?
The Jumps documents themselves exist as physical contract/shopping list like things, so jumper knows about everything contained within them.

And that every jump he has been to has a "fictional" media in the first world he left.

He has also found that that media is usually duplicated in the alternate Earths he visits unless that would be self referential.Like I have not seen any Kamen Rider, but my jumper self has seen much much more than I, just in case he ever has a jump of that setting. And also copies every book, movie, tv show, and web novel, bad fanfiction, basically the entirety of the internet and human knowledge to the warehouses data storage, because an IP that is the same across multiple jumps is probably the Earth Prime version that would apply to the jump.

So I was reading Kamen Rider Neo-Heisei part 1 and realised that there is actually a best option in terms of what gear to buy if you want W related items.
Either the Prototype Tri-Memory Driver or the Lost Driver Mk. 2, as well as the Memory Enhancing Device and the T2 Gaia Memory Set.

The Lost Driver is normally weaker than the Double Driver because you're only getting half the power but a T2 memory is twice as strong (so a T2 Lost is the same power as Double just without access to 2 different power sets). With the Memory Enhancer you get triple that for even greater power (assuming you can use it with the Lost Driver but nothing says you can't. It only says you can't use it with the Double or Prism). The T2 set also gives you access to Zone and Eternal, which if you've seen the movie you know that they're pretty hard to beat.

The Tri-Memory Driver is even more crazy since you can make the most powerful canon combo, Cyclone (Right) Accel (Left) Xtreme (Middle). If you throw the Memory Enhancer onto the Xtreme then they'll all receive a generous power increase. If you have the power to control the wind and blow it at the Xtreme memory then you'll receive an even greater power boost and gain Gold Form.

Pic is Cyclone Accel Xtreme from the one time it appeared in the show.

Xtreme doesn't work that way. It's an add-on that goes over the two Memories already slotted into the Double Driver. It's also a robot falcon. You insert the Memories like normal, press them down, they each shoot up a laser guidance beam that the Xtreme memory uses to home in on your belt. It then flies down, digitizes and absorbs Phillip so he'll be physically part of the combo. attaches over the top of the memories, and opens up along with the Driver to activate Xtreme mode.

One issue with your combo here brosef.

Your transformation partner needs to be a planet, connected to a planet, or embodying a planet's spirit, like Phillip was.

And you also need to be full of hatred and anger, like Accel was SUPPOSED to have been before he decided "naw fuck that shit yo."

>>51083229
Huh, so it does. I'm not sure you'd get the same results as Cyclone Accel Xtreme without the support gear found in the robot bird, though. Plus, Cyclone Accel Xtreme is only theoretically the strongest combo. It's never actually used in canon. For all we know, Shroud was wrong. She probably was, Phillip and Shotaro proving her wrong by beating Terror with their teamwork instead of her plan was kind of the point.

Yeah FF7 has summon materia, but making them yourself itn't a specifically said thing. If you take the mako reactor notes there's not really anything stopping you from refining your own materia out of the results though.

However gettting the perk to make magicite in FF6 would probably be a smoother option if you just want summons for the WEAPONS

Jump 19: Captain Planet
Origin: Planeteer

Perks
>Alternate Element (Hope) (100 CP)
Hope is in Planeteer, as Nature will always grow back and heal from any unfortunate consequence. Even if humanity has permanently changed the environment and extinguishes it’s own light through it’s hubris, Nature will always last and adapt until the Sun consumes Earth. Nature is filled with hope.

>Earthly Education (Free)
This is good in helping stress the importance of maintaining the ecosystem to people.

>Reduce Reuse Recycle (100 CP)
This is a good tech perk for what I’m trying to do...since my element is hope, I can fix shitty situations, such as a dying power plant, and fix it and bring back hope! Or I can make someone see when they’re placing too much hope into someone with ill intentions, ect ect.

>The Power Is Yours! (200 CP)

>By Your Powers Combined (300 CP +100 CP)
Vary number of allies needed to make the entity.

>Mastered Martial Engineering (200 CP)

>Power Ring (200 CP)

Items

>Connections (Free)

>Money Maker (100 CP)

>Construction Supplies (100 CP)

>Blank Ring (400 CP)
This is essential for me to give to Vash in the next jump. His element will probably be Peace--that is to say, calming storms, diffusing aggressiveness, and creating protective barriers.

Drawbacks

>Hokey 90s Dialogue (+100 CP)
I think you mean BEST DRAWBACK EVER

>Shut Up, Wheeler (+100 CP)
So...nothing’s changed I guess.

>Invocation (+100 CP)
Can’t decide between this or Hokey 90s Dialogue as the best drawback ever

>Competence (+200 CP)

>Pollution Power (+300 CP)

Next jump?

I HATE This Man. This Man Salted My Crop’s And Ruined Me. This Is The Man Who Touched My Chocalettes When I SPECIFIC Asked Him Nort To. This Man Spread Chaise And Discerd Among Me. My Fambly. My Fruit’s.

The T2 version is literally twice as strong and doesn't require the bird part. Look it up. I know how the TV version works but the T2 memories were designed to be better in every way. Also given that everyone can use symbol magic would it be possible to have a general perk for knowledge of it or a book in items with information about it?

...as someone who tracked down the HAWP series long, long after all the drama went down wihle looking for the source of the dildo Risk gif, I must say their Borderlands video

a) takes on an entirely different light after learning more and

b) seems remarkably self aware abuot how awful everything turned out.

Just started a new chain, need jump suggestions.
Build so far is Shoggoth Mage.

Jump 1: Overlord LN (Slime, Mage, 42nd SB)
Jump 2: SAO (Beta, stayed behind the plot for the most part)
Jump 3: ???

Give me jump suggestions

Yes, but Bioware gets hit on being shitty in it's own way, then people tend to dump everything wrong with EA on Bioware as well. If you ignore the EA connection and the shit they pulled, Gearbox is far worse than Bioware. EA on the other hand seems like they are trying to be inventively evil. EA got the award for "Worst Company in America", twice in a row, then the next year they were the most improved company in public views, while still being the most hated video game company. Though consumers tend not to give a shit about the deals between companies being fraudulent at best, if they aren't directly affected, which is really the reason why EA gets so much hate, almost everything they do wrong is directly affecting the end consumer.

Part of that is how Gearbox exists independently while Bioware is EA's slave. Bioware has the exact same shitty, childish dev problem and the forced politics, as well as generally bad storytelling and letting people who hate games make their games that Gearbox has, but because EA handles the publisher side of things, Bioware can't do something like defraud a developer/IP owner to funnel money to their own projects. I don't doubt that if Bioware was still independent but had become the same mess they are now, they would be pulling scummy publisher tricks like Gearbox does.
>>
>>51084008
That was like a year ago, and frankly I'm glad to be rid of that project.

Here's a WebM from Movie War Core showing it activating from the wind blown into it by the TaJaDor transformation. It's a not that much of a stretch to say any wind with enough supernatural energy (hope, excess transformation energy, magic, Japanese fanaticism for Kamen Rider, etc.) flowing through it would be able to activate the secondary transformation.

I get what everyone else is saying, though, but if you count movies then you can find quite a few different ways of powering up your Jumper
T2 Nasca Skull Eternal would be an interesting and powerful combination if you don't mind looking like some kind of abomination.
>>
>>51084085
Given OOO's is there with Tajador isn't that happening after W, so it's more that it reawakened the gold for than gave it to them.

Really, there's lots of ways you can get fancy powerups from Kamen Rider, from the jumps themselves or actually in setting. You could probably take the perks to get the Archive and the one to make Gaia Memories and work at it yourself.
>>
>>51083940
No clue.

It gets destroyed like a week after the jump starts.

>>51083882
It was actually cheaper to buy DD and just one of the more expensive magic than it was to buy just the more expensive magic on its own, which was just kind of weird.

Was it ever specifically states that anyone can do it? Anyone can do the mirror thing, but other than that? China never showed any other magic abilities beyond it. Unless her beauty was her magic.

>using a crossover as canon
>>
>>51084085
Movie War Core at the very least is ridiculously not canon on the OOO side. Like they had the wrong guy as Birth among other things, it was a mess.
>>
>>51084085
Here's the problem with that.

The movie also retcons a lot of shit. The crossover movies do that on a regular basis to the point that Jumpmakers have actually had to claim that they don't happen because of how badly they retcon shit.
>>
>>51084221
>>51084240
The T2 memories and Gold Xtreme come from the movie (though the memories were partially seen in one episode) and a few of the jump items are made up by the jump maker. Canon has nothing to do with the KR jumps. As I said, I was just writing down a cheap way to get lots of power from the gear section.

Can you post proof that they don't allow the crossover movies because from Fourze onwards they're pretty good for both story and content.
>>

>>
>>51084278
I think the idea is that your name isn't in the book famalam.
>>
>>51084284
For one thing, how do you get the wind to power up Xtreme when the T2 version doesn't have the turbine? It's just the USB stick, not the robot bird, so it couldn't absorb the wind.
>>
>>51084278
>Then I can steal it, look my name up via minion, and then destroy the minion and return the book.
...Your name isn't in the book. Check the notes. What's the minion for, anyway?

Bartimaeus Sequence lets you ferret out true names in a couple hours with a passing familiarity. Skulduggery already offers Godkiller weapons, and you can snatch up the Scepter of the Ancients in just a few hours with low risk.

Not that I don't want the power, but this does seem like it's going too far.

Do you even have to learn the name in-jump to get the bullshit associated with it?

You're an idiot who can't even get his movies straight. T2 we're A to Z Gaia Memories of Fate, Movie War Core was completely different. And you're wanking the boost hard, they were improved prototypes, but the Dopants seemed to be slightly above average. Remember that Riders are actually running around with weakened memories due to the belts serving to prevent side effects at cost of power. So yes the Nevers were able to beat W bloody, but so would a gang with normal equivalent Memories.

Real big advantage of T2 is so long as you're the one initiating the transformation Dopant mode has minimal side effects.
>>
>>51084197
Can you train up Elemental Magic to a higher level without buying the advanced perk?
>>
>>51084298
>>51084306
The notes don't say your name isn't in the book, though. It makes no mention of the book, in fact.
>If you manage to find your True Name while in the jump, you won't receive anything right away, but you'll receive full access to the powers over pure magic that this normally entails, post-spark.

Fuck everything i just said, i was reading off of the old pdf. My bad. Sorry and thanks.
>>
>>51084197
The female Administrator was an Elemental and she used symbols to try to kill Mr Bliss. Craven was a necromancer and used symbols to do that thing with Melancholia. Nye used symbols to seal Valkyries true name. Reflections might be made with symbol magic (not sure on that one). There's a few cases where mages use symbol magic despite having a different magic. I don't know if they specifically say whether its something everyone can do but theres a bit of evidence. I just thought it'd be cool.

Since Shunting can be used to move things within a dimension doesn't that make it an objectively better version of teleportation?

Well the wiki says it can, though I guess it could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure it only goes into other dimensions. I suppose you could jump into one dimension and then jump back into the old one in a different location which would be sort of like teleportation just a lot slower.

The jump seems to imply that changing your magic after your surge is impossible, which isn't true. It is difficult not impossible.

It is also theoretically possible to use multiple types of Adept magic, though this is from the wiki and could be wrong. If correct then buying Dual Disciplines with Elemental and any Adept discipline could potentially use any magic that doesn't require special talent.

The reason this isn't done is presumably the same as why Elemental is so rare, spreading of effort being worse than specializing. It also explains Symbol magic being used by so many people who have other disciplines, learning a bit of it is easy and doesn't require diverting much effort away from their primary focus.
>>
>>51084442
Pretty sure >>51084461 has it right.

>>51084557
>The jump seems to imply that changing your magic after your surge is impossible, which isn't true. It is difficult not impossible.
I... Can you give me a source for that?

>It is also theoretically possible to use multiple types of Adept magic, though this is from the wiki and could be wrong
I vaguely remember something like that maybe being mentioned early in the series, but I don't remember an actual example of it.
>>
>>51084408
If the Jumpmaker has to make up their own content for the jump but cuts out content that already exists like the movies then my statement is pretty accurate.

>>51084407
It's easier to consider things canon by rider than there being an overall canon because some of the crossover movies continue the story of one rider but not the others.
