Much better.

Oh are we restricting it to just Christmas?

Because some of ya'll's give me a hangover any day of the week. And that's without the positive bits with the actual alcohol.
>>
>>50904773
I have the hangover, just didn't have the alcohol. Which is kinda sad.

Right, so, to go with that: Favorite drinks, jumpers? Both in character and out, I'd like to hear either. Personally, I'm fond of fruit-based liqueurs.

That's fine, that's actually a pretty good idea. I might add that in later, since I just realized looking over the PDF that I didn't give any CP to spend. Oops.

>>50903840
That seems like the sort of thing that would either restrict the amount of drawbacks you can take or cost CP... in any case if you want to fanwank that the Cryptid you're serving treats you like an older brother that's fine. There's no reason that every Cryptid has to be bloodthirsty, and a Cultist serving because a Cryptid is benevolent is just as valid as one who serves out of fear or awe.
>>

I think there's a curse on it, anon.
>>
Continuing from last thread because I write for a really long time..
>>50904437
Comment was to long and I couldn't finish Dragon anyway...

Dragon Acolyte Archdragon Mirage: In addition to the obvious benefits of being a dragon you also have gained and incredible power (at least to your dragon worshiping followers). You have the ability to ascend others into draconic begins as well. The strength of the transformation matches with devoutness of the individual and their willingness to go through with the transformation. ( If you abduct some random peasant then they would turn into a snake man, if you tried to ascend a willing but not truly devoted individual they would turn into a lesser drake like those shown in Dark Souls 2, but if you found a willing and completely devoted individual to the dragons then you could turn them into powerful drakes, such as the Hellkite drake, or into lesser dragons like the Wyvern or Stormdrake.) You also could allow the jumper to choose what the individual has to be devoted to, because just devotion to dragons is kind of vague, perhaps a cult to dragon jumper or something. Just watch out for lightning, its the one great weakness of your kind after all.

>>50903932
The Twisted Soul actually sounds good, perhaps the Unkindled Twisted Soul holder becomes a Lord Of Cinder Instead. Regardless of that the Twisted Soul thing probably would work a bit better because I honestly was smashing my head against a wall trying to come up with something fire related to all the origins capstones (especially the outrider one). If you need help coming up with ideas just imagine the difference between bosses and player characters such as a sorcery player and the Crystal sage. If nothing else give the general description as saying you have a powerful soul along with an increase in durability and strength

Hope I was helpful with coming up for ideas. And have a wonderful night/day/ whatever time zone your in NuBee!

So yeah. Good/Bad news time.

Bad news? FSN will take a little longer to come out.

Good news? That's because it's getting a Capstone Booster Demi Servant so I need to make 15 new perk effects. Notes are basically 90% done though even if trying to explain and give examples for Magic Blue and Kaleidoscope in less then a full page is kicking my head in.

Black screen. Silence. Pan right to reveal my companion standing alone in a dark room littered with bodies. She looks at the screen and smiles. Change scene to me in a suit standing in the office of a high rise looking out at the city. And then, in the distance, a nuclear explosion.
>>
For Heavens - and any other anon that wants to download it, I guess. This is the raw WIP for the update. If you're concerned about impersonation or something, I'd recommend changing the formatting from my typical 0.5x0.5x0.5x0.5/Roman to something else.

Everything I had up until this point except for an idea where I would remove all the Group A scenarios and just include them in a section called 'Backgrounds' where you could pick the severity of the condition outside of Drawback CP.

Jumper gets up to mad scientist nonsense, works on new machines, a few clips of various enemies play before robot versions of them are revealed, clip of Jumper messing with the Eva pilots and then giving them "toys" like portal guns and other such shenanigans. Final shot is the Jumper laughing like a mad man in a throne room before the camera zooms out and reveals it's in the Death Egg.

A Servant possessing a human, becoming a sort of fusion where the human gets those Servants abilities. Maybe. Basically it's going to be a way for people who don't take the Servant Origin to get some access to the Supplement and capstone boost.

>>
>>50905167
Yes but you still don't get anything more from the Supplement aside from the most basic abilities of any Servant like dematerialisation, which you'd already have. You do get all the capstone boosts. Might change my mind and give a very small amount of SP, I dunno.

>>50905175
See above
>>
>>50905068
.... Is the capstone for the 600Cp perks or the 800Cp perks?

I'd recommend just the 600 perks because the 800 ones are broken enough as it is.

Perhaps you can save the Demi Servant for the Fate/Zero jump instead? But as always its your jump and a capstone booster is better than no capstone boosters.
>>
>>50904929
"In a world..."

A man in a business suit (as played by Johnny Depp) speaks with a stereotypical fresh-out-of-college intern, telling him to visit a mysterious website.

"...where things have gotten just a little bit stale"

Fast-forward short of the intern doing the same thing from dawn to dusk.

"and your life is no longer your own."

The intern from before is being chewed out by his boss, and opens the website from before instead of going back to his nebulously defined office duties once he's alone again.

"One man will change the world."

The man from before is looking at a bunch of thugs assaulting someone.

"Or die trying."

Rapid cuts from the man fighting the thugs, a car chase, an exploding building, and generic space-alien giant robots attacking the city.

"The Deal. Coming soon to a movie theater near you."

>>50905213
This is probably the end for me, anon. It's been a fun run. I'll finish Beyond Earth with Worm before calling it quits, probably. There's a handful of jumps that I've got vague notes and a WIP for and some jumps that I just wanted to do and have nothing. Dunno if I ever told the thread about them or not so here's the complete list so I don't get anyone's hopes up:

>Call of Duty - Infinite Warfare, Dungeons of Dredmor, Engine Heart, EVE Online, HAWKEN, Keys to the Kingdom, Last Will of Will Wolfkin, Leviathan Trilogy, Magyck, Old Kingdom Trilogy, Spectrobes, Tau Empire Jump, The Long Dark

600 only yes. God, fuck me sideways if I tried to balance a capstone boost for those 800s.

>Zero
It's actually going to be in every Fate jump, as of right now, as a capstone booster. With Chaldea's time bullshit, it vaguely sort kinda fits into any of them and it's probably the best way to combine the two halves of the Fate jumps.

>>50905261
Actually, that's a good idea. I'll make an alternate option for Servants to give them an origin's discounts/freebies/history and maybe some extra CP that can only be used in the main jump, along with the capstone booster, as a Pseudo Servant option.
>>
>>50905120
As I know their are 2 examples of demi servants in all of Fate, Shirou once he gained Archer's arm but he suffered the whole his body was literally turning into swords deal and a portion of his abilities and Shielder in Grand Order who suffered from an extremely short lifespan.

Also why are we talking in spoilers?
Both of them however were pretty damn powerful , at least in comparison to regular humans.
>>
>>50905272
>This is probably the end for me, anon.
While I hate to see you leave, there's something to be said for walking away from something when you're ready to be done with it. Good on you for making a decision and being up front about it.

>It's been a fun run.
It has been fun, and thanks for everything you've done. I've enjoyed your jumps and you've been a part of the community for a good while. Best of luck wherever it takes you.

>>50905344

>>
>>50905364
Ishtar/Rin and Tigerman/Somebody.
>>
>>50905291
Actually, I'm considering doing it something like this.

You can go both DemiServant and Servant separately once each and get SP for it with both, but Demiservant can't convert CP to SP, meaning they only get 1000SP to play with. After your first go with either option, taking either option again won't give anything more.
>>
>>50905283
Try working with stupid limitations on your work for over a year and a combined total of ten days of editing time all because you couldn't correct the archivist when he accidentally filed your WIP as 'complete'. It's hard not to be frustrated with every aspect of this stupid thing for me. The only thing that's good is the Device Supplement.

Dramatic music surges, Yorokonde is blown off his feet. Narrator sighs.

"Come on, there has to be someone better than this guy."

Yorokonde pops back up, dressed in a Japanese schoolgirl outfit and holding a glowing sword.

"You know what? No. Just... just show the title."

Title pops in for half a second before the screen dissolves into a blast of static, finally resloving into the faceless Coordinator. He silently stares into the screen for several seconds, before holding up a black permanent marker and drawing a wide grin on the screen. Cue Flowey's manical, electronic laugher. Cut to black. If you make the right choices then yes, its fairly survivable, the free virus/parasite option allows you to make a super soldier out of yourself like Wesker did, if you take the right perks. As long as you play it smart you have a good chance of survival.

Fallout 4

Old build but it updated so slapped a scenario on.

>Sanctuary Hills
Grove Street. Home. At least it was before I fucked everything up.

>25 years old
Young which is okay but gives me less experience doing nefarious Institute shit. Ah well, at least one of the directors was pretty young.

>The Institute
For Synth production because Synths are pretty impressive as science goes.

>Human
Anything else would get me in trouble.

>Chemist
Lets me make Stimpacks which are pretty great for the mugs with no healing factor.

>Wasteland M.D. 100
Teaches me how to fix radiation poisoning most notably which is handy. It's a cheap perk so no reason not to take it despite slapping Stimpacks on things being pretty viable in terms of medicine in Fallout.

>Mechanist 250
For the robots.

>Benevolent Leader 650
Is great as it means people in my settlements endure until I can get there and help.

>SCIENCE! 950
Is the aforementioned Synth production perk. The Institute would be pretty great if it wasn't so silly.

>Starting Gear - Lab Coat
Makes me look clever and screams to the world "look at me, I'm from the Institute!"

>Radio Stations
Is a neat addition I hadn't seen before. I'm going to be killing the raider DJ so not sure if he'll stay on the air.

>Magazine Collection 1000
Best 50 CP thing particularly given there's some interesting stuff on offer and there's tonnes of it.

>Scenario Four: Nuka World - Restore Nuka World
Chose this one for the added Nuka-Cola benefits given it also comes with infinite Nuka-Cola. Either way it involves forcing nearly everyone out of Nuka World and set the robots to litter picking duty. May keep Sierra around because she's sort of funny and she'd get a kick out of a cleared up park. And the caveman bloke as long as he doesn't make a mess.

Probably still going to take over the Institute as my previous plan was but that can wait until Nuka World is spick and span.

But making yourself similar to Wesker probably might be a bit dangerous because either Umbrella or the Government would want to dissect you to find out how you survived the virus. Maybe if your sneaky about it and don't take the 300CP drawbacks then your golden, just try not to do something crazy like challenge Uroboros Wesker into an arm wrestling competition.

Is there a perk/item to get you big-budget tier movies of your adventures?
>>
So, I was looking at the Hero BBS jump, and the notes mention that the ruling for the jump is that level 6 is about how powerful you can expect to reach with what's available in one world.

However, the way it explains this limitation is with a magician learning new systems of magic. Would a warrior, who wouldn't see most of their gains coming from new information, hit this same wall, or can they just keep grinding? What sorts of resources would new worlds offer a warrior?

I find it funny how you ironically set yourself up to be very menacing force in the wasteland.

>One day some mysterious individual arrived at Nuka World, with his robot army, and slaughtered all the raiders there and seized total control of the park. Now after making this park into his own personal robot production facility he silently stays in Nuka World, Rumors spread like wildfire about this individual that he was a former vault dweller, a rouge Institute Courser, some crazy individuals even say that he is a wizard.

>Whoever this individual is most people now give Nuka World a wide berth. Until one day the Sole Survivor decided to investigate this menacing park....

How would the classes work if you take Demi-Servant but don't have access to the supplement? Would you just default to being a Demi-Jumper each time?

Stuff like this puts into question the idea that all humans are sapient.

They don't really need to work because you're not taking the place of any of the canon Servants or being an official Servant in the war. You still get a Servant/can be a Servant even if you take Demi-Servant/Pseudo-Servant. In the case of Pseudo, you'd still be choosing a Servant class as normal anyway.

Sort of not sure what I'd do if Nora (rolled a d2 for gender) turned up.

Guess just exploding the monorail, cutting off the radio station and then exploding the train station for good measure is a good idea to prevent them from ever turning up.

Plus I sort of nipped into Vault 111, stole that pip boy before Nora could and then let them out a year early so chances are they didn't survive. Ah well. Protagonists do tend to make a mess and that I cannot abide.

Also I was inevitably going to do some stuff which would probably have caused them to try to kill me.

There probably would be some weird rumours though after all the traders are frogmarched out of Nuka World to a safeish destination by a load of Nuka-Cola themed robots.

I guess I can? Most of them are just empty folders, though.

Is infernals still WIP? I haven't been keeping up with the threads but I noticed that it was on the drive now

I'm just asking because I know jack-shit about the setting and am really hoping that there's more fluff-text to come

Yes, it is.

It is jumpable but still needs fluff and flavor text, if you're impatient you can just google "Exalted pdf" to find the 2e source books (including Infernals) which are surprisingly enjoyable reads for rule books.

Not sure what what those would be for my main chain, but my zombie side-chain would probably go something like this...

"THEY CAN REBUILD HIM."

>Two people, a man and a woman, are wheeling a covered gurney through a plain white hallway. The man is wearing a labcoat, while the woman is dressed in bandages; she's also wearing Eqyptian jewelry.

"THEY HAVE THE CAPABILITY."

>They wheel the gurney into a dark room; the only light, coming from a small bulb, barely illuminates an operating table.

"THEY HAVE THE... SPARE BODY PARTS?"

>Another man and woman pair come through the same hallway; the man is dressed in a black cloak, and is hoisting an immense, blood-soaked sack over one shoulder; the woman is wearing another labcoat, though this one is covered in blood; their shoes are covered in mud, and the woman is twirling a shovel while whistling merrily.

"THIS SUMMER."

>Movement on the gurney, faint coughing can be heard.

"ONE MAN."

>The cover is lifted from the gurney, revealing a body in pieces; the arms and one of the legs have been completely torn off, and the head is barely hanging on.

"WILL GATHER A TEAM."

>Shot of the bandaged woman and the first doctor leaning over the body, talking, as the black cloaked man and the the second doctor enter the room.

"TO FIGHT EVIL."

>Quick shots of various monsters; mummies, zombies, an axe wielding maniac, a troll-like creature, a group of cultists wearing gold masks, and a tall, pale creature with an exposed heart and a massive, clawed hand.

"WITH FEAR."

>The head suddenly coughs hard, spraying blood on the male doctor's labcoat. He looks around, his neck oozing blood as he does so. "Anyone feel a draft?" he asks, as the doctor looks annoyed. The bandaged woman opens the man on the gurneys shirt, revealing a huge hole in his chest.

A battlefield littered with countless tentacular horrors' corpses. The once-beautiful city ruined and burning, spearing the skyline like broken teeth. Clouds of flies and worse rising towards a burning horizon. Smoke in the distance, and a siren going off from every direction. Supreme Commander. Armored Command Unit. Capable of energy ex-nihilo generation and creating self-replicating armies.

It's an RTS, and the build times are actually canon, so it's incredibly fast paced.
It's one of the settings that could possibly take on 40k and win.

Actually, the Sonic jump was pretty fun for many reasons. I had to basically run a shell game with my clones because of the shattered timeline, and the end effect of that was that there was ten years of the jump that basically took place over the course of what I perceived as less than six months in linear time, but with one or two of my various clones in each zone at each time.

Because it's the most fun interpretation of that drawback, and it ups the challenge for that jumps.

The reason that the Eggmen exploded Sajuuk was that all of the ones there had already been dealing with me through the entire jump and confronted me on my entry, when I had just arrived. Apparently, Eggman's perception of the timeline was completely linear - it confused the hell out of him initially how I was grabbing emeralds REPEATEDLY, until it dawned on him that I wasn't respecting the proper rules of time. And so he shattered the timeline, grabbed all of himself, and... well, master plan.

Basically it was a grandfather paradox writ large. It wouldn't have happened if I wasn't already doing it, and if I wasn't already doing it, it wouldn't have happened.

LAST TIME ON THE ADVENTURES OF JUMPER!
"I'm stuck in a CAGE, JOHNNY! A CAGE OF M OWN DISAPPOINTMENT!"
THIS TIME ON THE ADVENTURES OF JUMPER!

The flaming bike beneath roars across the stone. The diamond armor covering my body takes a few glancing blows from the strange tall things around me. My laser rifle pumps fiery death at the two monsters chasing me.

The Dragon goes down to two well placed shots at it's wing. The still sizzling stumps where they used to be are already regrowing though. I pull my motorcycle hard barely escaping the explosion of a skull next to it.

The Dragon is already starting to get back up as I pour laser fire into the weird skull monster chasing me. It's not taking it anywhere near as well as the dragon, each shot blows a hole the size of an arm through it's body. I grin the, my skull twisting savagely as I land two blasts through two of it's three heads.

The dragon is charging me but that's not a problem. It swoops down claws extended obscuring my view of the three headed abomination behind it.

The recoil cracks the ground under me as I turn the rifle to full power. The air explodes around the lasers beam as it passes through the dragon like nothing, disintegrates one of the withers exploding skulls, and smashes through the final head of the wither.

I laugh and leap off my motor bike flaming in chain in one hand laser rifle in the other. A few blasts through the dragons spine keep it paralyzed even as they heal before my very eyes. The massive thing collapses like a puppet with it's strings cut.

I run a flaming chain through the holes. "Bye."

The village was on fire.

It wasn't my fault. The zombies had attacked and I had responded as a tired half-crazed spirit of vengeance is wont to. By blowing it in half with a laser.

The iron golem didn't take kindly to that and bodily threw me out of the village. Just because the zombies flaming corpse had splattered over a house and caught it on fire.

I didn't want their help anyway.

Day1:I've built a basic shelter. It's carved out of rock but it keeps the rain and monsters out and the heat in.

Day 4:Day seven I found a pack of cows. Managed to lure a few into a closed area. Cow sex is weird. Shot one with the laser for cooked meat. Delicious.

Day 7:Set up a rail system in the mines. Should be able to build a quarry soon.

Day 8:Baby cows grow fast around here. Quarry is going, to loud to sleep near. Built a new house with wood and glass. Very homely.

Day10:Met with the villagers again. Rebuilt the house I burned down. They seemed happy with that.

Day 11:Never leaving my Ghost Rider form again. Not after that bush exploded.

Day 12:Leaving my Ghost Rider form while inside my wooden house. Rebuilt house.

Day 13:I have cubes of diamond now.

Day 20:Electricity hurts. It hurts a lot. Wearing gloves from now on when I use it.

Day 29:Got a rudimentary computer going. Should be able to make some bots soon. It should also help calculate the number of cows I have now.

Day 30:Have less cows. Wither helped with that.

Day 35:I wish I had someone to talk to.

Day 40:Made a person out of wood blocks.

Day 57?:Losing track of time. Need more people.

Day ?:Learning villager language.

They don't talk to me.

So lonely.

Sort of yes and sort of no. I'm planning on an insurgency perk that allows you to continue to find contingencies and plans even when all else has failed and you're running on glue and string - sort of a mix between a keikaku and a willpower perk.

As for actual hyperintelligence? I am planning on making a powers section, which would normally include that in other jumps but it's not really a power in the media of this one. Feels like it could be a stretch, but it's also what the thread wants. Not sure.
>>
Are there any pocket dimensions other than the Inner World from Infernals that can be expanded endlessly? I wan't to build my own universe without using my soul as building materials.

I feel like it would also be a risk to leave stuff out from setting. Which is what I fear I might kind of be doing in my approach - my origins are primarily centered around previous history more than present specialization, as well as current affiliation with factions. This obviously removes skills from perk trees to an extent - though I can mitigate that by having a powers section, >>50908215

Creepy pasta has one that can be expanded endlessly so long as nobody else is in it.

D&D demiplanes can be expanded endlessly (at least as large as the universe its in) as well, but youd need shenanigans to avoid the xp cost for each expansion. Unfortunately these ones dont follow you normally, but youd be able to make them at least.

You might want to ask asa/garlock about reality engines too. Im not sure how they work, but they might help with what you're asking.

And yeah, Constantine is such a must. One of the few good parts of year 3, I'd say. I've already put in a perk for him.

Ah man, now I have to find a place to put in a Guy Gardner perk.
>>
>>50908301
Just like Coiling Dragon.
Settings got some fun shit but the jump is actual crap tier power grab.
>>
>>50908335
Consider a Sinestro/Wonder Woman perk for manipulating and corrupting people considering their relationships with Hal and Superman? Maybe a GL perk for resisting that kind of subversion and general willpower.
>>
>>50908332
You can easily keep out of trouble if you know how to politic.
>>
>>50908396
That's very, very likely now that you mention it. Will do.

Sometimes I wonder at what point this stops being my own jump.
>>
Jump #231: Tropico
>Five of Cups (Disappointment), reversed: Dissatisfaction gives way to a new hope and understanding.
>Era: 1699
>Location: Socotra
Actually, this place is SUPER neat. I'll need to figure out a way to build things up without compromising the local biodiversity.
>Identity: Presidente
Viva el presidente!
>Drawbacks: Dynasty (+400)
I'm not so sure that this is actually a DRAWBACK, per se. Unless I actually age. That would be bad.
>Faction: Capitalist (Free)
http://youtu.be/nXDwIo5_AMo
>Faction: Environmentalist (1300)
Just because I like money doesn't mean I can't have a long-term view.
>Urban Development (x3: 1200, Capitalist)
Considering I need to be extremely careful about the material my people get, it's best to ensure it stretches as far as it can.
>Preventative Medicine (x3: 900)
If I can give my people complete immunity to mundane disease, then I absolutely will. Especially when starting in an era where people usually have five or six kids in order for half of them to maybe make it to adulthood.
>Pollution Standard (x3: 800, Environmentalist)
Might not matter immediately, but if I can reduce the pollution everything puts out by 90%, you'd better believe I'm going to.
>Swiss Bank Account (700, Capitalist)
Well, this makes managing money in between jumps MUCH easier now.
>Real Organic Food (600, Environmentalist)
And just like that I become an exporter of food. Delightful.
>Man of the People (200)
Of course I'm a man of the people. I may be the presidente, but it's my responsibility to make sure the people are happy!
>Renewable Resources (0, Environmentalist)
Waste not, want not.

So. Three hundred years of running an island nation.

Let's not pretend that this is any sort of challenge, honestly; I'm going to use this to shape the development of humanity, export technology worldwide, and basically do everything in my power to spread humanity to the stars by the turn of the 20th century.
>>
Are there any other magic power boosts as big as Greatest Magician of the Age from DC Occult?
>>
>>50905674
I'd guess that different worlds have different types of enemies to hone their skill against, stronger or faster enemies, different weapons to train on, different martial arts masters to learn from etc.
>>
>>50908498
Negima has one around that level, iirc.
>>
So, rather juvenile question.

The Ghost Rider jump has the drawback where if I pee, it's gonna burn worse than that time in Tijuana. It says perks that allow me to go without water are deactivated.

Should I just also assume perks related to "removing the need for waste," a la Sims 3, also get deactivated?
>>
>>50908579
Anything that'd stop you from having to pee would get deactivated. Any perks that make you really good at holding your pee are fair game though.
>>
>>50908594
I wonder if surgically opening your bladder would work.
>>
>>50908579
unless specified, drawbacks override any perk that would stop said drawback from being a problem, although the sims perk would probably still apply to solid waste if that's any consolation.
>>
>>50908594
The trick is to take the pee out without peeing. Teleportation ho.
>>
>>50908602
A species that just doesn't pee?
>>
>>50908613
Tech that stops you from metabolizing water and regen to deal with the damage?
>>
>>50908573
Presumably that gives you similar talent and power to Negi and Nagi who aren't particularly impressive by DC standards.
>>
>>50908579
I think it would remove your production of solid waste, but not liquid.
>>
>>50908602
I guess you could just put in some kind of permanent catheter system.
Although you'll probably want to have immunity to disease if you do that, since that creates an entry portal for bacteria to enter the body. It's actually a major problem for hospitals.
That then creates interesting questions, like at what point in the process does the piss convert into fire, and are you going to need a fireproof catheter.
>>
>>50908579
Just be made of fire.

Or be fire.

>>
>>50907275
That's mostly correct, but if a power is stronger, you just get less uses. The Canon Take ability only seems to have has one use when grabbing resurrection, while having a larger but still small number of uses when grabbing Rise (I gave Jumpers ten uses because it seemed like a good number and we don't have a clearer one in Canon.)
>>
>>50908579
Does it apply to anything else or just the waste removal of urination.

I need to know if I'm being cock-blocked for ten years.
>>
>>50908498
Child of Magic from Merlin. Nanoha gives you a pretty good boost as well.
>>
>>50908640
I thought it made you their equivalent in the magic system. so extremely powerful compared to others. Not that it gives you similar power in the system.
The examples were Voldemort and Dumbledore.
>>
>>50908720
That seems both meta and absurdly broken if the two best wizards in Harry Potter are the examples.

I'd say "You're equal to the best wizard in the setting for any speciifc magic you pick up in that setting" is pretty meta, as opposed to something like "You get this amount of a boost to any magic". It's something that works entirely based off of how things are in other settings.

You've really outdone yourself, this time. I want every single item and perk in the jump, that isn't even close to being an exaggeration.

That's a pretty creative idea. Looking forward to that.

I'm half-tempted to give Drop-In discount to a 800 CP smaller version of the Galaxy Cauldron to make new star seeds with, but who knows if I should even offer it.

Jack Rakan is the guy the Ki perk is based on and he is frankly insane, as in Negi with Magia Erebea was unable to do anything meaningful to him.
>>
>>50908902
I really don't think you should offer that. There's no price you could make it fair at, it makes no sense in the setting and it's basically just OC for the sake of it.

What do star seeds do? Do you even know?
>>
>>50908922
>>50908902
Lots of perks and items are based on something a character has. Your idea has potential merit.
>>
>>50908955
oh, 300? weird, it's supposed to be 200

Anyways it's more because Slowdown is a damn strong ability even in-setting since by canon only one character and the technology around him can even overcome it, which makes it more or less a tech-based timestop that the other trees need their capstone items or similar to match. I am realizing a bit I think I overcompensated a bit for that, I think either 300 or taking away would have workd but not both
Again, updates incoming, so once I get more information I'll see what pans out
the main thing was that slowdown was basically a capstone ability, i just forgot to take away the 'drawback' to it in exchange. I might make Roidmudes 100 in that case, they still should have some level of buy-in cause of the evolution potential as well as just starting off plain tougher.

If he's already personally convinced himself he probably doesn't have much of an argument as from his belief on what a jump should offer.
>>
>>50909135
Weird wording. If you refer to my opponent, my view is that you need more than just personal beliefs to make a good argument. It's fine to state your views, but without backing them up they're not worth all that much.
>>
>>50909130
But you haven't given us any argument for why it should stay either. The jumpmaker himself seemed very unsure so I'm a lot more likely to side with the guy who gave evidence then you, who's done nothing but be aggressive and refuse to defend himself.

>>
>>50909149
He said it didn't make sense and the jumpmaker agreed with him. That's a lot more then what you've done anon.
>>
>>50909151
No, actually. You've yet to see me make a post insisting it make it in. Also, if he has no evidence, then why are you insisting only I give any?

Not him, but the jumpmaker hasn't really shown the best judgement in the past, so that's pretty much inconsequential.

>>50909160
So if neither of you have any evidence, then neither of your arguments have any validity, and since the jumpmaker has already decided no anyways, the matter is settled.

>>
>>50909474
Does Arwen as a fallen Elf get the same VIP treatment?
>>
>>50909482
Her father Elrond is half-elven, which means he and his children get the choice on whether or not to count as Elves or Men. Elrond chose elf, Arwen chose human, and thus shares the Fate of Men. She wasn't happy about it though, and only chose human because of Aragorn. Which makes her unusual, as most elves are intensely jealous of humans.
>>
>>50909474
yet after he passed Arwen died of a broken heart
why would she be sad if she knew he was doing karaoke with Eru
>>
How good are the scanning abilities of a GL ring? Are they good enough to navigate in FTL is space outside the Guardian's knowledge? (such as in another jump?)
>>
>>50909495
It's kind of dumb that a half-elf gets to choose whether to be mortal or not whenever they want, even well past a mortal's lifespan. Arwen was nearly 2800 years old when she met Aragorn and decided to be mortal for him. It shouldn't count if you've already lived twenty-eight times a human lifespan as a perfect ageless elf when you finally decide to become mortal, you're getting the best of both worlds. You get to be some awesome magic superhuman in life, and then in death you get the cool human afterlife instead of the shitty elven one. You're letting these jerks cheat your system, Eru!
>>
>>50909514
Yes? Just point in the direction you want to go and fly there. Lantern FTL isn't some hyperspace thing, it's straight-line travel. They don't even have to calculate orbital mechanics since they're moving faster than light. It sorts out the inertial reference frames on its own.
>>
>>50909517
elves are the teacher's pets
also it sort of makes thematic sense with the Maia Melian choosing to wed an Elf, and her daughter Lúthien choosing to wed a Man
>>
>>50909504
Elves only speculate after the Fate of Men. The Ainur know only little but told them what Eru said, that the short, weak, and miserable lives of humans were a good thing. What I told you about the situation is only legend to the Elves, confirmed to us by Tolkien, a luxury they lack. So that uncertainty was a part, and another was the fact that she'd have to spend centuries alone before she'd die of old age finally, which would make her miserable enough to wish to die right away.

>>50909517
Humans get a shit deal, always. That's why I'm genociding the elves.
>>
>>50909523
I know it could achieve FTL in another setting I'm asking if it could navigate in another setting.

IE could the ring identify star systems and reliably reach them without the database provided by the Guardians, instead of simply ending up lost in deep space because the GL decided to eyeball it.
>>
>>50909538
>Humans get a shit deal, always
You just said Men became the new Ainur and stuff!
>>
>>50909538
>uncertainty
So I could just tell Arwen the Fate of Men and she wouldn't be as miserable when her human companions die?
>>
>>50909547
Being an Ainur hasn't been all that great for the current batch, and the price is to be miserable, weak, stupid, mundane, to live in the worst and most corrupted eras of Arda Marred, and to die early.

>>50909554
Why would she trust you?
>>
>>50909539
You have infinite delta-V. You can't get stranded in space. The worst that will happen is that you aim for the wrong star by accident and have to take a detour once you get there and realize your mistake. Something which your ring should be able to correct for so long as you're not heading in the completely opposite direction. It has pretty long-range scanning, even if it doesn't know every specific star you can point one out to it and it can tell you "turn right in...2000 light years".
>>
>>50909564
Then it would make more sense to genocide humans and let elves keep on being awesome.
>Why would she trust you?
Stacked charisma perks, my obvious magical nature, the fact that I helped banish Sauron.

Thinking more on it though I still wanna offer Aragorn immortality so that Arwen can stay an elf. It seems preferable to maybe-karaoke.
>>
>>50909538
It sounds less like elves get a better deal and more that half-elves do. After all, when an elf dies it's just gone. Your genocide can wipe them out. But there's nothing to stop a half-elf from going "I renounce elfiness" just as you're about to kill them and get away scot free into the cool afterlife. So yeah, kill the elves if you want, but I'd prioritize finding a way to trap half-elven souls beyond Eru's reach. Once you've got that down, then you can do the killing.
>>
>>50909578
I think your thinking is too gamey on this. Elves can't just say "I'm not an elf anymore lol" they have to truly renounce their nature which is a spiritual thing, often associated with true love for a mortal.
>>
>>50909584
I'd renounce my nature pretty hard if it meant I didn't cease to exist. Even if it's unlikely, there will probably be at least a few who escape you, that way, just on sheer numbers. That can't be allowed.
>>
>>50909566
I see, follow up question.

Could the ring detect developed civilizations across a galaxy sized area? (I get this is a tall order but power rings are bullshit.)

Or failing that could it record the information from a local navigation system for use in locating inhabited planets/systems?
>>
>>50909576
>let elves keep on being awesome
>Not punishing the Ainur's pets.
The bigger issue for me is how the Ainur contacted, taught, coddled, protected, and basically adopted the elves while leaving the humans to be corrupted and die, with no concern or care for them. So the only way to strike back at the Ainur is to make their pets miserable.

Except Ulmo. Ulmo did his best to get around Manwe's ban and contact and help humans. He's the reason they all didn't die to Morgoth.

>>50909578
Actually, elves don't die. They go to the Halls of Mandos, where he might punish them for a while by making them sit in Hades, but eventually they're given new bodies and let loose in Valinor which is basically paradise on Earth. Elves can't be killed for good. The only time when Elves will die is when Arda does. That's the price they pay, to share the world's fate.
>>
>>50909596
It's been known to sense newly developed civilizations, so it's not going with just the Guardian's database. That's how Abin Sur found Earth, after all. As for downloading other databases, it can do that, too.
>>
>>50909504
Why are religious people sad when their loved ones die? Cognitive dissonance. Mayhaps they don't truly believe in an afterlife.
>>50909602

Have you ever been bummed when you don't have too much to spend after paying taxes? It's a bit like that-even though paying them might be good for yourself and others, you're maybe not as happy as you could be because you don't directly experience the benefits. There are selfish reasons to not want someone to die. I mean, just look at how controversial assisted suicide was.

And the men of darkness, aka everyone that worships Sauron, went out of their way to kill the elves in their territories (mainly 'dark' and 'grey' elves, those that ignored the Ainur and didn't like them and those that gave up on the trip to Valinor the first time) and they're just fine.
>>
>>50909650
So have Sarada and Boruto fucked yet?
>>
>>50909632
>Last guy that tried that got btfo by Eru
are you referring to the jumper who tried to steal tolkiens waifu and then spent like 9 years in the outer void? (which probably means subjective eternity since the void is timeless)
>>
>>50909645
A good idea, wouldn't want to be zipping around to every inhabited planet the ring has looking for the right destination. Though that might be fun in it's own way.
>>
>>50909682
No potatoes.

I'm referring to Ar Pharazon, who managed to reach Valinor, but then Eru threw a mountain on him and sunk all of Numenor to punish them.
>>
>>50909673
You do make some good points. My advice would be to go post-Spark and really let Eru have a piece of your mind. Because as it stands it seems like He got bored with the Elves a ages ago. So no way to really get to him.
>>
>>50909679
Not yet. Hiashi's master eugenics plan will have to wait a few years longer. He can use that time to set Himawari up with Mitsuki, for even more crazy breeding programs.
>>
>>50909701
I don't want to get to Eru. I want to get to the Ainur. Really piss them off.
>>
>>50909687
>every inhabited planet the ring has looking
*every inhabited planet the ring has detected looking
>>
>>50909705
Right so Eru doesn't protect elves but he protects Ainur. So you can't get to the Ainur directly.. you have to break their toys. Meh, seems kinda petty especially since the elves aren't responsible for any injustice baked into their world's theology.
>>
>>50909719
Petty gods get petty punishments.
>>
>>50909736
I don't get why this offends you so much. I mean the Abrahamic God is much worse and people worshim him irl.
>>
>>50909743
By Christian doctrine he gave up on favoring the Jews and extended the opportunities and blessing to everyone. Same with Islam iirc.

I mean he's a favoring dickbag in Judaism still, sure, but that's not the version Tolkien used as a basis.
>>
>>50909752
He still favors the faithful and all the rest of humanity can burn in hell forever.

He also committed near-genocide a few times.
>>
>>50909759
Faithfulness is something you can acquire. Elfhood and humanity are inborn traits you can't change. Unless you're a half-elf.
>>
>>50909774
Is there a Hell where sinners and non-believers are tortured forever in Arda? If not, Eru wins the moral comparison.

I mean the Caves of the Forgotten don't seem that bad, and few very people go in it I think.
>>
>>50909786
No, all humans get to join Eru as far as we know.

This is a tangent though. I'm an atheist and I don't care what the Abrahamic god is believed to do. I'm not even punishing the Eru Illuvitar expy. I want to strike at the angel expies, and whether or not they're as bad as the Abrahamic god doesn't matter. It's not relative.
>>
>>50909803
Fair enough. What you object to if the fact that Elves and Men were created unequal and are treated unequally?
>>
>>50909812
I object to the favoritism shown to the Elves over the humans by the Ainur.

Tolkien and Christopher actually had a conversation once over letter, where Tolkien said that the Ainur displeased Eru by abandoning humans and Middle Earth instead of teaching and protecting them like they did the elves, and that their actions were a mistake. So it wouldn't be fair to hold their behavior against Eru, especially when the majority of things special about the elves outside of their lifespans are because of blessings by the Ainur, not original design by Eru.
>>
>>50909827
Interesting. So you agree with Eru in a way, and you want to (over)correct the Ainur for erring from his plan?

I'd be curious to see your LOTR build.
>>
>>50908776
so you're not doing the "transformation gimmicks into drawbacks" thing like you've been doing? Because I think that would work really well for the Gashats.
>>
>>50909844
I agree with him that their actions were a mistake.

My LoTR build isn't complex. It's just:

LoTR:

100cp

Rolled Harad
Rolled 24
Men (Free)
Archery (50)
Forestry (Free)
Horsemanship (100)
Fighting Skills (100)
Sneakiness (100)
Riddle-Master (150)
Might (150)
Mental Fortitude (200)
Sword (Free)
Money (50)
Bow (50)
Master Armor (Dwarven Make) (100)
Rohirrim Horse (100)
Artifact of the Legend (150)
Famous Sword (Dwarven Axe) (200)
Taste of the Valinor (+300)
The Black Riders (+300)

And I don't remember what most of it does. I absolutely refused to take anything made by or involving elves, which gave me some difficulty. I refused to even take my backgrounds capstone, Blood of Kings, because it made you a descendent of the Numenoreans, whose founder was a half-elf. I refused to have any elven blood at all.

Back when Marvel was more active, I pushed for a replacement capstone, but none of us ever had any good ideas for a replacement.

Ar Pharazon was bent on conquest and prone to listening to dark powers. I specifically made myself an enemy of Sauron, and reinforced it with those drawbacks. This answers both your questions.

So is Heart considered a negative emotion for Roidmudes?

I would note it with the driver, but...

>Got Game?

...here you say you /do/ need surgery. So one of these is probably wrong?

The first thing I encountered upon arriving in this world was a vicious clothesline from the future, by the TARDIS Roidmude who will apparently exist at some later date.

The second was the Unconquered Sun wielding a /motherfucking core drill/ while activating a Spiral Energy-using Ganma.

So I feel ENTIRELY JUSTIFIED to generally feel SLIGHTLY DEMORALISED about the whole situation. While simultaneously fired up out of sheer spite.

"-if I could just interrupt. I was going to ask if you felt any regret for desecrating my comrades' memories, humiliating my closest friends and stripping me of my office. I wish I could convince you we share the same ideals, but it's clear your grudge is beyond my power to remedy. I wish it were not so. I just want you to know whatever follows, as long as you truly act in Creation's best interests, I will not hold what follows against you when you return"

Then why are you here?

A raised eyebrow. "The Benefactor thought it would be more amusing for us to actually fight instead of bicker"

Nobody likes a smartass.

"Indeed. Well, believe it or not. Some of what you said to me hit home"

He hefts his Godspear.

"I don't need my office to do my duty. If I am to defend Creation, perhaps I should rehabilitate myself by truly struggling once more"

You do that. I just want to beat the smug off your stupid golden face.

"And the feeling is mutual, (PRE-JUMPCHAIN NAME CENSORED)"

Oh, some our dev notes got in this version. Don't worry about Gashato, the final version is meant to be >as the Gamer Driver NORMALLY requires a compatibility surgery involving this

So the end result was meant to be that the Gamer Driver in the items section automatically gives an immunity to Bugster a la the surgery

>Ghost Tags:There IS supposed to be associated tags.

I will say that after the initial haze there are a few bits and pieces(mostly some dev notes slipping through or forgetting to tighten up teh wording) that might need to get fixed

All in all this is 95% of what I want the jump to be, though. Just need canon and OC companions and maybe some writeups on the OC widgets

Yeah. Look at the notes on the individual cars, it describes their personalities and interpersonal relationships. I don't think a specific perk exists for that. The closest I can think of is the one from Skullgirls that stops working if you break your theme too much.

Though Exalted: Infernals has the Ebon Dragon Charm called Eldritch Secrets Mastery ensures your magical traits appear to be whatever you want them to be, so you might be able to develop a Charm based on it that does what you need.

I...think there might be a Stranger power for that in Worm too, I forgot exactly how it deactivates though.

>Well, shit. Does that mean if I use the wrong things to Shiftify I could accidentally a Carrie/Giffany?
Oh, yeah. That's where the villains of Kamen Rider Drive come from. The Roidmudes are the result of Dr. Banno, who was Mr. Belt's friend back when Mr. Belt was a human named Krim Steinbert (oh, yeah, Drive's belt is alive, too, not sure if you picked up on that), using Krim's research in his android projects. For some reason, it didn't occur to him that the androids he was making so that he could torture them (turns out Banno was actually a sociopath, and Krim had no idea) probably weren't the best thing to make into self-evolving time-stopping super monsters. They went rogue, killed him, wounded Krim badly enough he needed to transfer his mind into the Drive Driver's electronics, and were only stopped from destroying the world by Proto-Zero, the assistant Roidmude that Banno had made for Krim and was therefore not evil. At least, the first time around. The plot of Drive starts up when the Roidmudes emerge from their repair cycle to start evolving and killing again.

From my understanding of the rings. Outside of Guardian Space it's basically a crap shoot. In the TAS & comics they have "Wild Zones" or "Frontier Space". Which are uncharted, so if you want to go to an uncharted system then you'll have to find a star chart. Otherwise you're going in blind. Now this won't lead you to a black hole or super nova, in fact in the comics you're trained as a rookie to navigate a blackhole. Sinestro even uses them to travel coming out on the other side through the whitehole. However he's one the best of the best.

In the TAS they were struggling to pull a ship from getting sucked into a blackhole. However beyond trying to "lift" it, they seemed to have little trouble navigating the crushing gravity that way sucking in the ship.

Still its very-very slow to travel via ring. There's a reason Guardian space is able to be traversed easily. That's because Oa is in the "center". So what you do is you create a wormhole to Oa, then another to the other location you wish to go. However its not too precise so you have to fly rest the way.

>>50909596
Civilizations advanced enough can be detected. However its depending on the size the civilization. The ring will scan for stuff like radio, and other frequencies that civilizations send out. Depending on the stage further away the ring can pick up on the signals.

It doesn't have like a galaxy wide scanning system. However entering a star system should be enough to detect like more modern civilizations.
>>
>>50912412
Sounds like something you might need Restat for.
>>
>>50912447
But we can use it for that? Just trying to clarify.
>>
>>50912385
Couple of questions. How do powers gained from having a high stat interact with outside powers that are the same? For example, if we gain telekinesis from having a high int how would that interact with telekinesis gained elsewhere?

Also, do you have a plan for if the Gamer power also includes something like respawn in the series?
>>
Okay , I did some math And I want to run a Combo by you folks

1.Captchalogue Cards are easy to make and can hold roughly 255 of the same item. I've got plenty of them in my wallet modus http://mspaintadventures.wikia.com/wiki/Sylladex

2. I picked blame! for weapon plans in the Halo gauntlet,so I know how to make GBEs

3. I have a ACU with effectively unlimited power and resources due to both the dark star generator and a terraria world that is literally nothing but 40 paragon resource generators stacked on top of each other and a permanently open portal between it and the ACU,this allows me to make a great many GBEs

4. I did a Loot roll and got unity from enter the gungeon
http://enterthegungeon.gamepedia.com/Unity

seven Captchalogue cards of 255 GBEs each at 2% damage each + the unity ring= Every gun I use now has 35.7 times the power of A GBE.
>>
>>50912458
Restat is designed to fudge the exact details of how the gamer power functions. Add a stat, change to a different system, make it -not exatly, but close enough - telepathic, etc etc.

Basically, if your question is 'can I change it in X way', and there's no canon basis for it, the answer is ReSTAT.

>>50912517
>Telekenisis
Hmmm. Perhaps a NG+ scenario where it starts off at a higher level?

>Respawn
Anything that shows up in canon prior to me updating the jump should be considered automatically given to you if you buy the full gamer package. Beyond that, no plans.
>>
>>50912576
Another question. What will our level be starting out and will it be affected by out of jump powers?
>>
>>50912576
Okay and thank you for your time BLADE.
>>
>>50912610
Honestly, one of the reasons the powerless drawback was mandatory was so that I wouldn't have to think about that.

Assume anywhere between 10 and 50 levels per prior jump, depending on their relative power level.

Out of jump powers don't qualify as skills unless you go out of your way to import them in via 'relearning' them. This could potentially be as simple as writing a book on it, for the records.
>>
>>50912576
>make it -not exatly, but close enough - telepathi
Meaning what? How much would you have to still speak?
>>
>>50912724
Wait, I thought you said normal stats are considered seperate from base stats normally. Why not just make it so your level starts out the same as Jee-Han's regardless of how powerful you are?
