I got it from aliexpress. This one, I admit was a REALLY good cast. Got Allison reverse too in that order.
From a different caster, I got Sun warrior male, Discilpe of witch 4 and Storm knight. Only the Storm knight was 10/10, the rest were about a 6-7. Nothing unsalvagable though, just needs (much) more work to get them presentable. I'll post pics if you want.

Scott (the person who runs that blog and painted those miniatures) said that the only part that requires genuine painting skill are the cracks on the models themselves, and you can leave those off.
The rest is fairly basic in terms of the techniques required.

As for how to practice, my advice would be to buy some cheap miniatures and practice on those.
Reaper Bones are cheap as chips and will do just fine as practice material for something like that.

Use Superglue brand superglue gel. Small tubes are easy to control both in application and in flow. It doesn't form scabby crystals with its overflow like GW's glues and zapagap, instead forming into slight fog that's easily scraped off with a fingernail. It doesn't bond with oily surfaces, so it won't ruin your skin nearly as bad if you get some on your fingers.

It also only costs $1 for two or three tube of it.

Don't do Gorilla Glue, it's not designed for plastics, not even their superglue. Their superglue is not suited for modeling because of how it's rubberized, meaning it expands and contracts in non-drastic tempratures. (leaving a mini in your car overnight at 15F will pop the seams and ruin the paintjob.) Leave the monkey for practical application, not modeling hobby.

Each Mask is a unique piece of gear that you can craft with the Mask Maker building.

A few questions for those that might know.

Generally it's up to you. Rule of thumb seems to be to add in all bonus content UNLESS you are playing dragon king, because that fight has specific stuff you want for it, so you don't want to dilute the deck. Likewise, if you are running a Green Knight campaign, only include the relevant items and that's it.

Page 77, under "Survivor Death":

Then, when you trigger Embolden, you choose a survivor to depart. What happens here is actually very poorly defined, but if you assume it works the same as step 8 in the settlement phase you will add gear to the departing survivor's gear grid from the settlement storage, which includes the shit that the dead guy wore.

Axe is leagues better than blade for one resource. Of course, you could also consider Blade+grease vs axe, but at the same time you have to consider dagger+grease.

The issue isn't actually blade vs axe, but blade vs dagger.

Dagger gives an important red affinity, survival regen, and most importantly isn't frail. Certain monsters also have weakness to dagger attacks.

All Blade offers is one less attack and none of the above in return to 1 point in accuracy and strength. You only build it because you thematically want a sword guy and are going for Sword Proficiency, since you don't get a new sword for quite some time, baring event or terrain tile luck.

You say that as though those points of accuracy and strength aren't enormously critical. This is a game where drawing a hit location and then failing to wound it is actively punished; having that happen less often is a very good thing.

Also both the Bone Blade and the Bone Dagger have leftward red affinities. The Bone Dagger does have an additional upward red affinity which is uncommon and comes in handy if trying to turn on, say, the lion boots, but isn't something that is being constantly used either (at least in my limited experience). In fact, looking at core game loot, the lion boots and the lion helm are the only thing in the core game that needs an upward red to turn on, and the lion helm's ability is pretty garbage. But once you get to midgame the Zanbato, Counterweighted Axe, Finger of God, and Leather Cuirass all have upward facing reds too.

Also there's the fact that the dagger proficiency is pretty much garbage in comparison to the sword proficiency, and that good daggers in the future are very hard to come by until you can make two Cat Fang Knifes. The Scrap Dagger is absolute garbage compared to the Scrap Sword, and the Lantern Dagger is a huge waste of iron.

I'm not saying the Bone Dagger is bad, I agree with you that it's a good weapon, but I think it's significantly worse than the Bone Blade unless you're hunting things with super dense hit locations -- and if that's the case then you should be wielding a Scrap Sword by then.

Axe with rawhide set. You have a 50% chance of regenerating AND gaining a survival when you dash, surge, dodge, and encourage, which you should be doing. Axe is simply stupidly powerful and you get upgrades for your gear rather quickly in comparison to other weapon types.

Not talking about daggers vs swords, talking Bone Dagger vs Bone Sword, and in that early game the dagger

The bone dagger has a 21.6% failure rate to hit while the bone blade has a 25% failure to hit.

Arguing weapon spec and mastery is pointless, as you replace the bone weapons asap. However the dagger sees far more use because of its affinity, and that red-up certainly finds its uses when you include expansion content, even through mid and late game. Meanwhile, I have never heard "can we uncraft and recycle gear" with any weapon more than the bone blade, which just sits uselessly in storage should everyone's grids already be full.

The lion helm is quite useful for when you need insanity since you have few ways to generate it in the early game.

Based on how well that pack sells, it's really not unreasonable to offer more of the same.
