Primal Disciple/Savage Technologist gestalted with what-the-fuck-ever, maybe brawler. Has broken blade, fool's errand, and a ton of grapple bonuses. What you will need. 5 Wizards, level 13, with at least 10 dexterity.

Each one of them uses quicken spell to cast True Strike on themselves, to give +20 to their next attack roll

Then they all cast a Maximized Enervation at Autismfighter.

He gains 20 negative levels and dies instantly.


They will hit on anything but a natural one, you could add an extra wizard to the team for insurance, but even if only one misses, the number of negative levels he's received will leave him crippled.

Here's the skinny

Autismfighter has a constant casting of death ward upon him

Death ward allows him to make saves against death effects, and will always have a save against them

He is immune to the energy drain monster special ability, as well as all negative energy effects

Importantly, this does not remove negative levels, but it DOES prevent the penalties from taking place

So funnily enough, as long as its not 'energy drain', its more than possible for autismfighter to gain negative levels.

Enervation is not an energy drain or death effect, so it still works on autism fighter

Now the question that remains is that if 'death' is considered one of the penalties from having too many negative levels.

Now the entry on negative levels says the following.

"For each negative level a creature has, it takes a cumulative –1 penalty on all ability checks, attack rolls, combat maneuver checks, Combat Maneuver Defense, saving throws, and skill checks. In addition, the creature reduces its current and total hit points by 5 for each negative level it possesses. The creature is also treated as one level lower for the purpose of level-dependent variables (such as spellcasting) for each negative level possessed. pellcasters do not lose any prepared spells or slots as a result of negative levels. If a creature's negative levels equal or exceed its total Hit Dice, it dies. "

This would likely be dependent on DM ruling unless anyone has a word of paizo post saying otherwise.

Guys I figured out how to defeat the Autism Fighter.

It's a one in 20 chance for a Pact Wizard at level 20 to roll to retroactivley undo the Fighter's birth using his 20th level ability.

Helen is a Fey Trickster, but she's been earning a little bit of an authoritative position as of late. She took Leadership some time back and took in one of the named NPCs as her own cohort A Warforged Steel Hound Investigator. Her spells are mostly disruption and control as Fey Tricksters tend to do, but recently she's been allowed to venture off with a merry band of misfits as part of our mini-scout group to do smaller quests and missions for us while we're out and about doing mythic stuff.

I have little to no say over how Edge is built or how he'll develop beyond what gear he has since he's a pre-established character in the story. And holy fuck it's been ages since I last messed with Helen's familiar character sheet; waaaay back when she was Lv.5

In fact, last session Elsbeth ported back down to Xen'drik home base for a few days to check in on Helen's expedition personally because a few messages won't be enough to convince her that Helen didn't get into trouble if she didn't see it for herself.

It's fitting that this is the OP image because I'm going to share my "Megumin Explosion Build" that coincidentally is fully capable of obliterating the Autism warrior in one round.

Step 1: Take the typical sorcerer blast friendly feats to buff up your fireball. (Draconic bloodline and blood havoc at least with magical lineage and spell perfection)
Step 2: Take eldritch heritage and get a familiar fro the arcane bloodline (or just take the arcane bloodline instead of draconic/orc. My way does more raw damage though)
Step 3: Take a raven or use improved familiar to get a familiar that can speak
Step 3: Learn Familar spell, a metamagic feat that is extremely broken with Step 4
Step 4: Learn Duplicate Familiar, cast it ~6 times (depending on level and charisma)
Step 5: Load up your duplicated familiars with metamagicked fireballs and quickened fireballs
Step 6: Explosion

Assuming 7 total familiars and Ignoring other optimization options such as the half orc's favored class bonus here's some numbers at level 20.
Regular fireball: 15d6+30
Maximized: 120
Maximized+Empower: (15d6+30)*0.5+120= 152.5 average

You cast Empowered, maximized, intensified fireball and quickened, empowered, maximized, intensified fireball or an average of 152.5 damage each. Spell levels 6/8.
Familiars cast familiar, empowered maximized intensified fireball (152.5, Spell level 8) and drop empower for quicken for a spell level of 9 (120 damage)

Total damage is 305+ 272.5*7= 2,212.5 which is about 1,000 more damage than you need to kill Autism fighter even assuming he makes every reflex save.

I'll leave figuring out a way to always win initiative to someone else.

Speaking of explosions, can you even blast effectively in a core-only game? There is no Spell Specialization for early CLs, no Intensified metamagic to give Fireballs 15 dice, and no Crossblooded archetype so the most you get from going sorcerer or taking a dip is +1 damage per die.

The old version of the build (which I may return to after doing some more reconjiggering) could counter this in two ways.

First of all his sword would true resurrect him after the first time this was done to him.

The second was a desperate gambit where he uses contingency Create Undead to be raised as a Juju Zombie upon dead, who retain class levels in undeath. His HP drops like a stone (to like 400), but he now is immune to several elements.

It seems like it would be a pretty bad spell if it affects the caster, since its effect is initially centered on the caster.

This character will be a Vishkanya Toxicant and while going over the rules I had to immediately wonder why you can't just flick the toxicant poison at someone. You even have Throw Anything.

How does /pfg/ feel about consumables?

I mean about 15% of your WBL is supposed to be consumable items - scrolls, potions, weapon oils, magic arrows, poisons etc.

I've had some arguments with people who seem to think that you shouldn't get any money back for consumables (ie, you shouldn't eventually get topped back up to your WBL) and that consumables should for some reason be permanently deducted from your overall wealth... rather than consumables being a sort of regenerating pool.

I mean, lets say you have 10000 gold as your 'wealth', 1500 of that should be in consumables; like a a few scrolls, a potion and maybe a wand. Once you drink a potion it's gone - over time lets say it's 500 gold... if you don't get topped back up by 500 (eventually) you end up at 9500 gold of wealth, putting you below your WBL.

There are some guidelines to WBL though, like no more than a certain percentage should be tied up into one item, a certain percentage should be in consumables etc.

WBL isn't supposed to work like that at all: It's a suggestion to DMs for how much wealth players of a certain level might have, not a hard and fast rule that if not followed to the silver piece causes the game to collapse more than it already does.

So I'm expanding upon Onryou's Training, Her master and her fellow students. (Hurray for adding NPCs)

Sagacious Aadhandan had been charged with a prophecy. He was to travel the land and be the master for a young lass of noble birth with a bellicose disposition and a voracious appetite. He would train her in a manner that best fit her soul and she will grow to be a warrior that changes nations.

The problem with prophecies is that they can be terribly unspecific. Aadhandan had discovered three such young women that fit the prophecy to a T.

Quanfindiel "The Cat",
Millie Gourda, And most recently,
Onryou Kaijitsu.

None of them had the right temperament for the Soul Bandit style that He employed but each could be taught easily once their souls were laid bare to him.

Onryou heart was in the fight, Challenging foes with strange combat styles from dojo to dojo allowed her to analyze and re-purpose what she found effective.

Millie was perhaps the easiest to teach. With rewards in sight, she would perform far better and was more responsive to techniques taught.

Quanfindiel "The Cat" was a soul of revelry. Unless the training could be classified as fun, she was a slacker. When her training was converted into games, she learned quickly.

The group of four travel all around Taldor, Varsia, Galt, visiting every monastery they could find (And plundering them for fighting techniques in Onryou's case) for six years until Sagacious Aadhandan declared he could no longer teach them and they must learn on their own.

In Gunslingers of Porphyra, the elemental gun archetype; if multiclassed can it accept burn for those abilities? Do levels of infusion specialization add together, or does the reduction stack? Would the form infusions gained from multiclassing be allowed, since the elemental gun itself doesn't gain any but also does not say it can't use form infusions in any way?

Do the simple energy blasts that lower damage by a die type also do the same to the gun they're loaded in (I imagine yes)? And can this energy be used to fire technological energy weapons, or only bullet-type firearms? This last part is only a question due to 'charges' being different from 'ammo' technically.
