The Beast Lover fighting art lets you willingly offer yourself to a monster in order to try and buy time for everyone else to escape. If you succeed, you can roll to get bred and the showdown ends with everyone getting back home or maybe rolling on the run away table?

How well does this game play via tabletop simulator? I want to get the game, and am very likely going to back at least the 250 level for the base, but I'm finding it hard to justify when I could technically just play it via tabletop simulator. If it matters, I'd mostly be interested in solo play. I'm not the type of person to fall in love with a miniature or cards or anything, but I fully understand and appreciate how amazing all the components are, but I just wonder if it's really enough to spring for if there's a perfectly useable digital alternative.

so from reading through all these threads, I pretty much have my eyes set on the gorm, dragon king, flower knight and DBK expansions.

Most of the others have either mixed or negative points about them.

The only two expansions I've heard little about, either positive or negative, are the spidicules and lion knight expansion.

It's Basic Action says:

Full move towards target. Make a separate attack against each survivor in the highlighted zone, in the order indicated by the arrows.

So the way I'm interpreting this is, if someone is directly behind him when he does a basic attack then he is going to turn to face them, then step back, then do the sweep, correct? Basic action does say to do a full move towards, and out-fighting does say that would mean he steps back to gain distance. It doesn't really make sense, as it makes that sweep less dangerous, but I mean I'll take it...

So he won't make a loss on the individual boxes at the prices this KS, but he won't be making that much of a profit either.

This guy, though. I think he did 10 or 11 of the 13 wounds all by himself. Stand behind, blood paint, sword to blow through battle pressure then axe to wound, surge, blood paint again. The missing spot was an acanthus; it got consumed to block the body blow from popping a trap late in the fight, and I didn't actually use the frenzy drink obviously (the character used to have the Apathetic disorder but I recently cured it at the Barber Surgeon). Also, the ruptured muscle happened near the end of the fight, after Red Fist and Rhythm Chaser had already procced.

Absolute fucking bullshit fight. To the best of my knowledge of the rules I did it legit, though. Next time everybody gets a fucking shield.
