Never actually did a build for this one and it took forever to decide what I wanted.

In the end I took Ant Man as I don't actually have a perk like this and kaiju size slag spray coming from an ant is pretty funny. Plus it amounts to a pretty great strength boost.

Biggest Jaws of All gives me a powerful body part. Apparently leaping is allowed so I'd go with leaping far and maybe stronger jaws or something to give me a bit more bite.

Took the earth Fire Ant! as it lets you eat stones and get the power of those stones. Lot of strong and magical stones out there so figure this was worth taking.

Guard Dogs was part of why I took Warrior rather than Drop-In. Ant sized dogs are a fun addition to the warehouse.

Imported my butler to be the queen. He can now produce ants the size of dogs and control them which is a superpower of sorts and could be useful in a pinch.

Drawbacks mean there's a shitload of ants I'm going to have to bring the fight to and other bastard bugs getting up in the mandibles of my comrades.

He was thinking of splitting the Archetype perk up into smaller, cheaper perks, and there was an argument about it from anons who didn't want it to change their build. That's the last time I think anyone's heard from him.

I can't even say for sure that it was because of that argument that he disappeared, since I'm not sure if he ever responded to it definitively. I just remember that was the last conversation he had.

You've got "even" instead of "event" in the intro text and you capitalized 10 Year War once, but not the second time.

I might suggest checking your spacing between paragraphs and origins. Your origins are compressed into each other and a number of paragraphs between perks have an inordinate number of spaces between them. Also, maybe a Perk title separating your origins and perks.

Honestly, other than some formatting issues it looks very solid. I don't know the source material, but the intro text makes it sound like an interesting place to wander.

I've had that problem too. The best way I've found to do it is to write in Google Docs for easy sharing, then copy it into Open Office (specifically the copy without formatting option), and export from there. Otherwise I get those weird formatting issues too.

can someone explain to me how the hell the Olympian Demesne and Titanic Sanctuary from the God Of War chain works?

Like, I get that the former let's you theme your warehouse and the other lets you partition and rearrange the warehouse, but does it actually add space to the warehouse? The first perk says that you could have it be on a huge mountain looking over a lush world (I'm assuming still in the pocket dimension) so is it saying that it adds the actual space in addition to the regular warehouse? There's also the line at the end saying "but you must remember it is still the warehouse, not a world. Walls are still walls, as are ceilings." I have no clue what this means in regards to the perk.

I'm aware that I'm bugging the thread with a lengthy question about a relatively old jump, but I figured I'd ask anyway, in case someone could explain it better.

Ok, thanks. I think I get it from what you said (plus I found the notes section on the jump's page moments after posting the question). If I'm getting this right it does technically give you an external environment that you can interact with, but you can't be benefited from in anyway outside of aesthetics. Whether that be due to jump fiat or it just being made up of ambiguous matter that can't serve the purposes of the real thing, plus an additional effect that expels anything you attempt to store outside of the original warehouse space. Does that sound about right?

You could be limited to those kinds of forms or treat the body as if you were sealed at all times. The limits aren't cut and dry, as I don't want to needlessly restrict Jumpers from writing their own weaknesses and limits, but they are enough to be fucking annoying and every Aspect would be weaker if it didn't naturally have a physical form themselves IMO.

The difference is that if there is no soul then the permanent removal of an irreplaceable consciousness is going to happen anyway. In that case death is speeding up a natural process. This is still bad.

In a world/setting in which souls definitely exist then death is suddenly not as bad - assuming it's not Forgotten Realms or some other setting in which the afterlife sucks. In those settings death is bad, yes, but it's not the end. The 'natural' state is to continue on in some form, possibly 'forever', depending on the afterlife in question. Hmm... Are Magic Circuits sufficiently attached to the soul to count as spiritual abilities for Merging+Aspect Manifestation?

Assuming that the jumper has no knowledge of DC, or even any knowledge of the concept of superhero comics at all and their only superpowers are a relatively weak Pokémon form, basic utilitarian earth bending, and the devil's own luck, how bad of an idea would it be to take the Justice League Dark jump sans drawbacks?

Wut? No seriously what? Umm… so this was a strange world… even by jumper standards. I had to make sure that Snowflame, Rick, and Yukari were all taking this Jump off. I would rather not have them decapitated by Axe Cop.

Anyways I think I am gaining some sympathy for everyone who has to deal with me in all of my jumps. I tried to be one of the heroes and help Axe Cop. Only Axe Cop could probably have handled everything on his own. I tried to make things better even tried to redeem a few villains who weren’t quite so evil…. But decapitations ensued. Sometimes Axe Cop was just a little too good at his job.

We fought sentient feces, Dinosaurs, zombies and all manner of strangeness. I tried to learn what I could of Axe Cops methodology hoping I could gain some useful wisdom or insight from him but quickly found that the universe was just structured so that he would succeed. It was a little sad actually his successes were inevitable but that’s all he had. He didn’t have much of a life outside of decapitating bad guys.

Anyways we survived the craziness with our heads intact and with our forms unchanged so I would call the jump successful.

I will admit I'm kind of confused by them taking that direction. I mean emotional energy being generated by people sounded like it made sense, making it a finite energy source just seems strange. Is it still canon in the new rebirth universe? I'm hoping it was just part of the new 52 grim dark.

I honestly don't follow the comics. I just watch reviews of them to see how baffling stupid comic writers can be (though most of the time the problem is actually due to the editors).
From what I understand though, this thing came out during new 52 and I think it's something that at least gets resolved to where they don't have to worry about if not retconing the retcon to not be true.
