Here. The thread is somewhere on GITP. It has Tempest Gale and gets all martial weapons, so i don't see any reason you couldn't chuck stuff at people or fire a bow.

Basically as best i can tell its a VERY mobile healer. Not the sort of thing you pick a 20ft speed race on if you catch my drift, you want to be running around between allies to heal them using your swift action, so i guess its smart to focus on range since not all of your allies will be near the enemies you want to attack.

Is NTRdwarf/DHB the same person as NTR/Rape-Oracle? I don't know if I'm crazy but IIRC DHB made the dwarf and the guy who made the dwarf made the oracle and the oracle became a crazy pseudo-rapist last thread so I'm just a little worried.

As the person who made an entire guide about this, of course 1pp-only Warlock bolts are shit. Jollylock bolts are not shit though. If PoW and Spheres are on the table, I'm hazarding a guess that Jolly's stuff or even that one Spherelock homebrew would probably be open season, at which point it becomes a fun little option. Especially if it's gestalted with something else, diminishing the need to pour tons of resources into the bolts immediately.

I played an extremely zealous Inquisitor that killed NPCs for dabbling in dark magic.

He was eventually kidnapped and tortured for weeks (my DM is an edgelord, I swear) and when he came out, he was starting to use the very magic he hated, claiming that it was time to fight fire with fire.

Next year in Golarion's timeline on earth is Hitler's Beer Hall Putsch occurs. I drafted an entire adventure having to deal with a political prisoner trapped with his own ramblings. It involved him as a painter and the paintings leading to Golarion, and other paintings that lead to various demiplanes. The PCs would help him, not knowing he was Hitler the entire time, and have a moment where they show him the beauty of Golarion, the beauty of a world without Jews. It was gonna be a moment like In Doctor Who when the Doctor showed Van Gogh a museum full of his art.

I had several things planned for it, had a bunch of Hitler's paintings and where they connected to in Golarion. When you first meet Hitler he would be a level 2 expert, then by the end of "Book One" get PC levels as an Imperious Sorcerer. He would level up with the party. Then you have the choice to kill hitler or not at the end as a secret extra boss, but he gets away and gets back to Earth, betrayed by the party and bitter after his alignment secretly shifting during the adventure from NE -> LE -> LN it snaps back to NE after the betrayal. The PCs indirectly cause the holocaust.

The idea, on my end at least, is it is not supposed to be a healthy relationship on his side. That he is a legitimately warped individual with unrealistic expectations. The idea is he becomes ill if she is unhappy and he isn't working to make her happy, which is based a lot on whether he knows she was unhappy. I would have worked with the GM on the specifics.

I entirely get what you're saying where it is creepy. In that regard it is meant to be creepy. Ricktor is not supposed to be a happy fellow, but a laughing/joking facade covering up for both his crippling insecurities and abandonment complex.

One of the reason a big part of his character is based on luck is a perception on his end of inability and luck carrying him through. Same with his nature's divination and the like. That as well is an external force helping him rather than internalized ability.

What I'm getting of the atmosphere is people are much more looking for a happy go lucky high adventure. Which is why I'm considering replacing parts of the backstory with that super sweet heist.

It really depends on what the GM says when it comes to overall desired tone of the adventure and when the rest of the applicants come in.

That's good. Honestly, it's really good. I'd definitely play with that at the table, since now his goal isn't "Make Ameiko happy by whatever means necessary," it's "Make Ameiko happy by being a better person." There's still some of those flaws that make a character better, but it's not in a way that will make people dislike him.

This troubles me. How do I exactly make use of a possibly-dead dad? I've had ideas on prior interactions with Shalelu and Sandru as pointing my doll to Sandpoint, as well as possibilities on interacting with characters on the APs. The only way I could add more was the consideration I had for the timeskip where her dad actually dies, she mourns, and then she decides to befriend the family now living at her dad's house.

I kinda am hesitant to push it forward if only because I've had her have a very flawed concept of death.

Fuck, now I'm really reconsidering it because of the fucking gun.

So half of the Jade Regent adventure, and Burnt Offerings don't have much of anything to do with Tian. I assume her motivation is to go home, right? What is her original motivation to go adventuring with the party? Her caravan career?

How does she get to know any of the main NPCs?

Something to think about it putting more detail into the animosity over her and her superior.

Also possibly something after becoming a caravaneer.

What about the "rescued" trait? That would make a certain amount of sense.

The caravan link is weak, and I'm going to keep the original bit about wandering alone over the Crown of the World, getting healed by Koya and then going to work for Sandru.

Rescued is a possibility, but I've already gone for Outlander (Exile) from RotRL.

Would it make sense for her to have killed the innocent man, then fled because of that? I feel like there's less guilt this way, and guilt was a big motivating factor, a desire to redeem her name and stop being ronin, if not in Shokuro then at least somewhere where the role of a samurai is respected and understood.

Onryou's Current backstory

So here is an idea of what I would do.

I would have her take the innocent man and flee with him to try and get him to safety. Her leaving doesn't save his life. Her leaving and taking him makes her much more of a fugitive. It adds an important NPC and makes sense for her to leave the continent.

Kaer Maga is famous for being a city of second chances. Ending up in Kaer Maga would make a certain amount of sense, by way of Korvosa.

If this happened before Rise of the Runelords you would have arrive just in time for the events of Curse of the Crimson Throne that tore Korvosa to shreds. It'd make even more sense to think about instead of heading north to head west and be a caravaneer.

Deciding how you and the innocent man end up would be a good place to start I think.

Some good ideas there. Not the one about Kaer Maga, honestly, doesn't make sense for a pair of Tian travelers to get to Kaer Maga via Korvosa, since they're coming from the north. What would make sense is if she fled with him and dropped him off in Kalsgard, but couldn't stay herself because of the shame of cowardice. Now she's ruined her own life, ruined his life by getting him caught up, etc.

What PoW class uses Mithral Current the best? Also would a Bushi template help or hurt it?
