Much harder choice. Ignoring the obvious exploit with Mega Pouch exploit, I think I'll go with the Zombie Tonic. I don't normally go for immortality options, but perfect regeneration on top of superhuman strength and the ability to spread it pushes it over the top.

"When I emerged in this world, I was lying in a field next to some kind of priest. I took what gear and supplies I needed and buried the rest with him, as it was the respectable thing to do. The only thing within sight was a large caravan setting up to camp. I made my way to it as fast as I could as to not be lost in this empty plain. However, a small group of bandits beset me. With a strange sense of empowerment from my emergence, I fought off the bandits and took their supplies as well. However, My injuries were severe enough to where I fell unconscious before I reached the camp."

"Luckily, I must have been close enough to the camp to be seen because I awoke the next morning to the sounds of several men talking about my mysterious appearance. They inquired upon who I was and how I had ended up here. I explained to them the events of the day prior and they trusted me and my story enough to allow me to join their caravan and work as a bodyguard in exchange for food and shelter. This is where I met the two people who would most influence my life from then on, another fellow bodyguard named Lucas, and the caravan priestess, a magically gifted and exceptional healer woman named Serena. Lucas and I were brothers in arms for a short time, and trained together during our spare time. Serena would be the one to heal us after tough battles with bandits as well as after a overzealous round of sparring. The three of us were good friends, but only for a short time. As me and Serena grew closer as friends, Lucas became for vicious in training and less helpful in combat. Thanks to my blessings I managed to keep myself and the caravan well protected, but things took a turn for the worst as we accidentally entered the territory of some tyrannical king. However, despite all of our training and preparation, we were met with a most unexpected twist on the battlefield. Lucas had become not only a general, but the right hand of the tyrannical king himself. We both lead our armies into battle and though casualties on both sides were high, my army bested Lucas's army, and I bested him once again. This pattern of battle became quite common afterwards. Lucas would return with a stronger and more powerful army, and my army would improve and be reinforced as well. The battles would grow more lethal for both sides with each clash, but Lucas would always find a retreat plan after defeat to ensure he could try again."

The final battle begun, and with his new power he out-powered and out-sped me. Serena did her best to help and eventually we broke his wing, but Lucas repaid that injury by piercing his claws through my chest. He turned on Serena with intent to kill, but once more I was spared of death thanks to the blessings I received all those years ago. I lost my martial skills and felt my tactical skills waver, but I still had strength and my years of training to aid me in finishing Lucas once and for all." To be concluded...

The rest of it is that in any case where I might be in danger I can combo lightspeed and army of one to run around the world while creating clones and having them disperse as quickly as possibly. If the worst case scenario comes to pass and all my clones are killed then I still have regeneration to fall back on and bring myself back at any location where a clone was imperfectly killed.

The Biblical Longinus, or at least one of the many variations of him. As his legendary lance pierced the side of Jesus, his blood flew freely down Longinus' arm and into his mouth, turning him into what many would describe as a 'Vampire'. Cursed to wander his timeline as an immortal to pay for his sin, he was picked up in three years before Emperor Constantine took over, and therefor has no knowledge his homeland turned its back on him. Biological has managed to cure many of the drawbacks of his Vampiric state, though it also cost him many of the indirect boons such as his immortality. Has a burning passion for God-slaying, and picked his Hubworld specifically to fight against the closest to the being who cursed him.

His companions are either the closest he could relate to from his timeline, or formidable fighters. Longinus is trying to get them to go God-Slaying with him, and desires to form his own Covenant dedicated to the same goal.

Let's see... I made Angelic Inheritance around 3-4 weeks ago. That one I gathered all the images and then wrote the bits and put it together. I actually had more options but I fucked up and made the background first and was too lazy to fix it. Then I made Boxful of Puppies about 2 weeks ago, which was followed closely by Catastrophic Caper. Both of those I actually had everything written out before hand and most of the difficulty was finding the images that would work with them. A few options had to be changed, like the Sinner's Scale, which became a ring instead of being an actual dragon's scale. Then, I made Fleshweavers, which I actually gathered a huge folder of gory surgical images and just creepy pictures beforehand and wrote bits that would fit with the images. This one's a bit simpler, as it's really just two sets of four choices, and I've got general ideas for pictures that I wanted for each part, but have saved quite a few that didn't quite fit because I wanted to. The most recent was inspired by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzQ6gRAEoy0 this music video.

Most of learning how to do it has been messing around with filter settings in photoshop and just kind of having years of art, architecture, and fashion design experience that's given me a feel for what generally would look good. The visual stuff is the easiest part, as there's tutorials and things all over online. Other than that, it's been figuring out how to create interesting options. That's actually harder than you would think, as what I find interesting to write isn't always fun to pick from. I like to write sort of an extended question with some choices that you can use to answer the question I pose. That's why my favorite to write was actually the Catastrophic Caper one. On the other hand, the one that's been the most popular was Fleshweavers, which I didn't find that interesting to write. In fact, it was actually kind of taxing to do so.

The text boxes don't really need to be that fancy. And the background shouldn't be too distracting.

For the text boxes, using rounded-rectangles set at a contrast to your text and background is a perfectly serviceable option. Fancier stuff is neat, but gets in the way of the actual content of the CYOA if you're not using it to build the mood or theme. For example, using the spattered and torn papers in the second page of Fleshweavers was all for the effect I was trying to build. But I just used rounded rectangles with oval pictures in front of them for Angelic Inheritance and it still looks damn good.

For the background, I only have a nice looking top image and then clipping mask it over a gradient so that it fades into the rendered clouds. I've used that literally every time. Sure the clouds may be a little lacking in contrast for some of them, but that's okay. Just make sure your text boxes give enough difference for people to be able to see them apart from the background and see the text on them. Also, remember white text with a black outline is legible on anything so long as your font doesn't kern so the exterior lines run together too much.

The feels are what inspired me. The isolation is quite a familiar feeling for me, and I've had trouble expressing it. This was an idea that should work.

Hmm... I don't really know what to say. If I could impart of whatever gives me certain understandings for building mood and tone, I would. The only thing I can say is look into stealing from creative people and then incorporate that all together in your own way. I've basically appropriated most of my ideas by going throughout life and being in odd and interesting situations. It hasn't stopped my life from ending up sucking, but going out and learning about and doing things I'm interested in has given me enough experience to draw on. For example, after I injured my wrist doing HEMA stuff, which cut off my source of income, I started getting into fashion design. Never designed any outfits that anyone's worn, but learning about colors and how to use them to emphasize form is something I can draw from.

I recently finished my first ever CYOA, creating it completely in GIMP. It took quite a long time to create and I'd like to make more.

I'm wondering if there are any guides that could give me ideas how to work more efficiently or if there are any pieces of software that would work better than GIMP for helping me quickly put together all my info and pictures into a nice looking CYOA

Been thinking of making this for a while.

Sort of a MOBA CYOA, combining things from Dota, League, and Smite, much like Hell Invasion.

Wanted to pitch the idea, see if there's any suggestions for it. What I'm thinking of is it'll use Dota's stats to divide up the skills (Strength, Agility, and Intelligence), skills will be stuff like tenacity, crit, magic resistance, etc., items from all 3, and a patron god from Smite that'll give a certain power depending on who you picked.

I'll probably edit the backstory if it's too rip offy, might try to make it more original but originality has never been my thing (I am Chinese, after all).

Also I have finally learned to use another graphics program besides MS Paint.

Race: Elemental (Water) Because it's smooth and refreshing. An elemental water attack has lots of utility uses, making it more useful outside of combat than say fire. (Not that fire isn't important, but lighter fluid can last you quite a while.)
Class: Healsl- Charmer. Pretty easy to gain XP. Unlikely to be killed by strangers due to usefulness & charisma.
Perks: Gaping Maw (Because finding food isn't always easy).
Faster Growth: In a lot of games, this is a trap skill because it is useless once you max out. Since scum can trade XP, though, this is a valuable farming tool, especially considering how a healslut's method of gaining XP is pretty simple.
Sleepless: Sounds like I can still sleep if I want to, which is good if I want slow, lazy, passive XP gain overnight from minor, vaguely sexual contact. The perk helps with keeping watch over the zombs.

Items: Energy Generator [1000] I don't have much in the way of offense, but I can use this to draw in others to help protect where I live. Since I provide a useful service & am low maintenance, I doubt anyone would try to kill me just to take over my house.
Large Power Module [200] Hey, if anyone wants a bunch of lewd heals & a safe place to live, grab an Area Shield Generator & come on down.
Small Power Module [50] For personal stuff.
Energy Converter [10] To keep the lights on.
Energy Gun [300] There's no use for a shield around your house if you can't shoot back out at the undead swarming the place.
Communicator [100] It's important to stay in touch with people nearby.
Basic Information Package [50] Nice to know exactly how tough the undead are.
Player Database [100] Important general knowledge.

Going only by the Harem game and this one, there's actually still a fair bit.

1. He's big on "narration". Very rarely says things straight, has to find some way of stating them "in-universe".
2. As was mentioned before, he's really optimistic. Always talking about how he believes in /tg/s "goodness" to each other, the potential to create art, the ability to love imaginary characters unconditionally and other lofty concepts. He's basically a deluded fuck, but in an inspiring sort of way.
3. Because he's so completely certain that he's doing good, he cannot be deterred from his holy mission, EVER. No matter how many people tell him that his newest CYOA idea is terrible and everyone will hate it, he'll STILL go "NO, I BELIEVE THAT THIS TIME LOVE AND GOODWILL WILL TRIUMPH!" then release it and be disappointed everyone hates it. Then he'll be like "THAT'S OKAY, I'VE LEARNED A LOT, NEXT TIME FOR SURE WILL BE BETTER!"
4. It's been frequently mentioned that he thinks about his CYOAs less in terms of choice games and more in terms of some weird VN in potentia. Basically, he writes characters with a lot of drama and feels buried in their stories, not realizing that nothing will ever happen since CYOAs are a static medium by definition and everyone will just call them shitty unsatisfying waifus.
5. He likes subverting anime tropes.

You HAVE to take the AM shield though or you'll be easy prey for the first slavemancer you run across. Even with the shield you have to stay alert, a melee sneak attack could knock it out in one blow, and then you are done for anyway.

You also cannot trust anyone. Anyone could be a thrall to a slavemancer, waiting for the right opportunity to disable your defenses and let their master have you.
