But seriously, it's not bad. Not great, but not bad. Human element is way better than 2014, CGI is a bit worse, soundtrack is great, they actually explain some of Big G's biology semi-coherently, and the pacing is decent. But the latter half of the movie is a thinly veiled "we're the US's puppet, cant you see?!", and the ending stinks of Anno going insane trying to set up a Humanity vs Flying Godzilla and Godzillaspawn scenario in the next one.

I know that feel. Our party came back to a tiered city to find that the lower level had become infested with zombies. After rescuing some stragglers, as a mostly-good party does, we start brainstorming on how to get rid of them, since we're only five people. My idea was in the vein of "teach a man to fish", training the survivors and remaining guard to guerrilla zombies until they retake the city, so they can deal with shit if it comes up and give them the satisfaction of saving their own damn city. Then the wizard suggests "How about I cast fly, carry a torch, and bait all the zombies into town square where we can slowly roast them with fire potshots while they're too packed to move anywhere?" and my idea immediately gets shot down for putting the townsfolk in unnecessary danger.

the elephant's foot has been extremely exaggerated lately, mostly thanks to that retarded picture about "instant death" from /x/, and said picture misunderstood the wikipedia article about it. when it was just solidifying and melting out of the chamber it was an instant death, but nowadays it's pretty harmless.

most of the isotopes on the outside of the concrete and sand are either almost completely inactive, or reached such a late point in their life that they barely radiate any REALLY hazardous ionizing isotopes. you can stand next to it for a couple minutes without long term effects, and you could probably touch it.

I tried before. Its next to impossible. Fetlife is built for people who already know each other to stay in contact and they actually do everything they can to make it as obtuse as possible to find someone new. Its only good part is all the groups but I went to my local munch and it was fucking horrible. Never have I seen a more cliquey group in my life. Sure they all said hello to me but then they all paired off into their groups and all ignore me outright. There were even two guys that were outright hostile to my presence doing everything they could to keep me from talking to people. I ended up just sitting around for 3 hours doing nothing. upper part of the image is how fucking radioactive the elephant's foot used to be, it distorted photos and caused anomalies on film, and the worker there apparently died a few minutes later. lack of this is further proof that it's pretty fine to be near it nowadays, it only really emits 1000 rads per hour, which isn't that bad at all as far as radioactive waste goes.

lower photo isn't aged, that's just how fucked the film got from being near it. it's black lava from (i believe) the underside of the elephant's foot. that shit was flowing just straight down into the earth. since that lava isn't really mixed with anything other than water and sand, it's still lethal as fuck.

Yes and no. I tired directly inserting myself into the conversation as well as just leaning back and commenting when there was a pause. The only other option was to sit there in silence.

I could try but it was listed as you needed five years of experience and you had to contact the organizer and meet them. So I dont know if I'll be able to get in. From the looks of it the experienced group had a range of ages. The new group was mostly younger I would say 23-30 was the oldest guy there.

Honestly I would love to meet that group but I doubt its anywhere close by and I haven't seen anything like it from what research I've done in my area. Dunno about the getting beat up part I know I'm a masochist but again I have 0 experience and have no real idea what my limits are and what I like. Which has led to problems when I tried dating sites. I've found most people dont want to "train" a new person. They want someone already experienced and that knows themselves. Well like I said there are more groups but I just cant reach them on my own. The three groups I mentioned were just the ones I could reach any anything resembling good time.

Finding someone with a car is rather difficult. Trust me I've tried for many other reasons than this. Most dont have a car around here and the ones that do work 24/7 it seems. I could try contacting the other farther groups to see if I could get a pickup but I'm really hesitant to do that. That seems like a really bad first impression to me not to mention the safety issues of riding with people you dont know.
