I just had a game a few weeks ago, and one of the guys I was playing with just would not shut up. Everything constantly had to be about him and his character, or he constantly had to have input about everything. His character was also agonizingly cringey. He was a half-beastman half-human, with the advantages of both and disadvantages of neither, but both sides hated him and discriminated against him. So he was going to conquer the beastmen and force them to acknowledge him. That's it, that's literally his entire motivation.

To make matters worse, he also spoke annoyingly loudly and with this disjointed cadence that made me wonder if he just avoided human contact outside of gaming and had started forgetting how to speak. So imagine that, but never ever shutting up about how he's being discriminated against, or how you should be doing this instead.

We need more research material to build a proper theory on whether or not she is actually "cute".

I only play with friends and friends-of-friends so I don't encounter the crazy, anti-social types. If someone like that ended up in my game they wouldn't get invited back or, if they acted really terrible, we'd boot them out during the session. Just be more picky with who you spend your free time with.

I'm from Canada for context for the next part, and I'm going off the types of women I've played with. I would say 40% of my past and current players have been chicks, usually they will be girlfriends that play together and it has been pretty rare in my experience to see a solo woman in a group of men. The majority are book nerds who entered the RPG hobby through boyfriends. This lines up with my personal experience of my girlfriends wondering what the heck I do every Saturday night, eventually sitting in on a session, and possibly joining.

I'd say on average they're more interested in the roleplaying side of the house than the numbers side, but my formative playing years involved a number of drama and improv geeks in high school so there's a bias to that. I've oddly enough never had a female GM. I've had women I've played with hit on me, but only when I GM not when I play.

There's also this one chick who started with GURPS and bucks everything listed above.

Lasted about two games total, she was more or less pleasant to game with minus the fact that she was effectively playing an exalted character in D&D

Every other female I've gamed with was pretty much fine to game with, minus them occasionally falling hard into steriotypes (one literally played nothing but druids, another played every character as a variation of "strong tough bitchy female who don't need no man"). But whatever, either of them was only really about as bad as the guy who only played silent carefree badasses who's only defining character trait was always "is a badass"

The point on /pol/, as I've gathered, isn't that there's equality in representation. Obviously the board skews to the far right. It's that there, alone in the internet, is a place where both views are tolerated with an ability for discussion. Should you post far-right rhethoric on say... Reddit, you'd find your account banned. This is true of most discussion boards. You have to kow-tow to the political majority because dissent is unwelcomed there and you're not allowed to post any.

Posting on /pol/ with a leftist ideology might not see people respecting your opinion, but you're not banned for doing so.
