Only Temperance's telekinesis would really be affected. Probability doesn't scale at all and Clairvoyance is all about focus and experience. The shard doesn't really get you further down your path, it gives you raw strength and energy. Though it's not entirely wasted on him, because he would be able to do MUCH bigger stuff with his telekinesis, and it would be enough to not take the burn.

The shard can be stolen as any other object, but sloth wouldn't like it too much. Obviously if he's using the shard then he can't be lazy, and he doesn't have too much to do even when full of energy, his only offensive power being an aura that makes things around him stop working. Maybe in the extreme late-game if he can get some artifacts then he might be able to make use of the shard in conjunction with them. Depending on how I feel like fluffing the shard, he may not be able to respawn after being fizzled by it

Universal Focus- A shard of the altar of diligence, holding this aloft will cause the infinite energy of the universe to flow through you. Even as one of the chosen, your body isn't made to handle this much energy coming in all at once

Shoulder Angel- will do her best to keep you on track, give you tips about working with your restriction, and may even help out more directly, though she's not much of a fighter. She can die, in which case she respawns 40 hours later, descending from heaven to join back up with you.

Little Red Box- delay losing your power when breaking your rules

Rosary Beads- Holding these while praying at a church lets you teleport yourself and up to twelve nearby people to any other church in the world.

The Colt- A revolver with six bullets. Each bullet will kill whatever's shot with it instantly, no matter what it is.

Pure Holy Energy- You begin with your powers as if you had been doing good for a year

Second Chance- The first time you die, you awaken three days later in a cave in the middle-east

The Reward- You may select a mortal to become the unnoficial Virtue of Karma, who reflects damage back on attackers. Doesn't count towards kindness' power

Working on it. Will take some time to balance every thing, though. As for what I have so far;

Get rid of the mental degradation of Sloth, but keep the physical.

Find some conventional way to allow Gluttony too keep his sanity while still making it somewhat difficult.

A third ability to Envy that will allow him to copy one chosen's ability at a time. JUST ONE.

Reworking Greed's companion to be more useful, and add a traditional deal ability.

Anything else to suggest in terms of balancing the main powers? I don't want to nerf Pride by weakening his powers.

The thing is that the later it gets, the more the sins will be showing off what they can do and where they are, with exceptions for lust and envy. And it doesn't take too overly long for Kindness' aura sense to be able to sniff them out.

For holy rituals, I honestly have few ideas. I'd consider some healing, but you already have two virtues for that. Honestly, we could just consider it later.

As for the holy grail, maybe make it so that those who drink water from it have all the food they need for a day.

another thing I'm trying to avoid is having boons that are only good for a couple of them. The Universal focus is bad for Humility, but pretty much everybody else can make good use of it, the only one that gets nothing from the box is kindness, likewise with the pure holy energy, and all the others are utility type things useful regardless of your power (even chastity, with her wings might consider the beads, as she wouldn't be able to cross the oceans herself until midgame otherwise). The free food just wouldn't be enticing enough to anybody but charity, and even then is rather lackluster in comparison. The immortality bit is a step in the right direction, but the Champions are immortal by default, and The Reward covers the main draw of giving somebody else immortality (keeping a friend or lover with you)

It's not that straightforward actually.
People with gender dysphoria aren't souls of one gender incarnated into bodies of another.
There are many kinds of dysphoria, like some people feeling like their hand is not part of their body and they need to cut it off. (You might think "why do they need to cut it off, even if it feels like it is seperate from the body it's still useful right?" that's exactly it, dysphoria isn't rational). The problem is, indulging in your dysphoria and hacking off that part of your body, or going through reassignment surgery doesn't cure it. You won't feel better and you've done serious damage to your body in the process.
That's because gender dysphoria isn't linked to your gender, it just feels like it is, and you can't get it or lose it by switching bodies.

The thing with trannies is that there are hard and soft trannies.
There's the hard trannies with actual dysphoria that feel like their body is wrong, they'll end up killing themselves after transitioning because they realize it isn't a cure and they'll never feel normal.
Then there's the soft trannies, fetishists and people with fucked up parental role models in their childhood that buy the whole idea of gender identity. You can notice them because they never considered that there might be something wrong with them until the ideology became mainstream. Jotham Riviero is the last member of House Riviero. Centuries ago, RIviero was a great house, until its members rose up against the Highkings and attempted to perform a coup d'etat, but were easily defeated. House Riviero was thrown out onto the streets and became peasants. Generation after generation passed, and the noble Rivieros shifted from a house into something else entirely. They became the mob. The family gained power over the generations until all of the great cities were partially under their control, and the heads of the family planned to incite a worker's revolution to overthrow the Highkings and take the throne.

Eventually, after an incident involving an elder dragon, Jotham became the last surviving member of the family at the age of 14. Jotham was not used to being in a position of power in the family. He had spent the last few years practicing small illusions and gambling until sunrise. Jotham served as head for two years, and after a failed execution attempt by a small time criminal organization at the age of 16 he decided to use the family's money and his earnings from gambling to enter the great school Luniester.

While at Luniester, Jotham studied dueling and illusion magic, as well as diplomacy to become a better family head. He created a unique fighting style, whereas instead of using offensive magiks to fight like most students, he fought duels with a saber and used his powerful illusory techniques to trick the opponent and land a winning blow. Jotham also spent a semester at the school of Uzuza and took a mage hunting class to better prepare himself to fight against his classmates. Jotham became good friends with the schools info broker Mecherath and Suzette Highking, as well as a sparring partner of Eydal Northbreed. He grew to become one of the leading experts on illusory magic, and in his 5th year created a technique to create trace amounts of tangible matter using illusory magic.

Jotham aspires to raise the Riviero family back to noble status with the help of his friend Suzette. Jotham also offers criminal services (not murder) to both students and teachers/headmasters/the board however he hides behind advanced illusions to make sure no one knows it is him. to this day only Mecherath knows who he really is, but that is to be expected, considering she knows everything.

Justice doesn't give a lot of time to make friends. A bit dense too.

Only son of a minor noble house who was only able to afford attending the academy after the death of a rich distant uncle with no heirs. Fighting bullies with Valerie gave him a thirst for justice and wanted to be a hero. Still keep contact with the other childhood friends but we mostly grew apart. Luvyna still practices together with me though. Develop rivalries with Eydal Northbreed and Scal in Battle Royal. Generally has pride in school and tries to bring back honors for the academy, plays into the whole rivalry with Ej Har. Disliked by a majority of the richer nobles and is seen as a upstart noble who is powertripping especially after butting heads with the head of the disciplinary squad.Corruption in the disciplinary squad? Slight reworking for my build, overall came away with no losses and a profit of one class. Funny how that works.

Exploring every art he can towards making the human body something harder to kill, and finding every person possible with shared interest in Artifice, Medicine, and AI, this guy proposes that there is an alternative to the divine arts for every possible problem, even death itself. Every chance he gets, he tests his discoveries and body in battle, seeing what flaws in auto-maintenance he has to overcome, and every chance he can he speaks up in support of Casiopeia's work, seeking to gather it funding. Fuck servitude of the divine, and fuck wanting to go to heaven. The real world is the one worth fighting for, the one worth living in. With advanced artifice, medicine and technology, we'll make the world a place not needing any dreams of an afterlife offered by the gods, for our paradise will be the world itself.
