Having played UW emeria sun titan, I think I can say that it is not a control deck. It plays more like a midrage deck with extreme reach due to your creatures never ever dying unless exiled.
While an easy win against other midrange decks, I find the deck struggles against actual control decks, unless I happen to land an early Geist that they can't interact with.

This is what I'm worried about Nacatl, because while its great damage early on it:
1. Forces you to fetch out Stomping Ground first regardless of what your hand is

I know that its great in a Naya Zoo build, but I often found that in a Burn deck it tends to be pretty hit or miss.

You know, I got to thinking, Starfield of Nyx is kinda like Emeria only without the 7 Plains requirement, so I've been tooling around with builds. I'm actually really surprised how well Kruphix's insight can reload my hand consistently with 3 enchantments with this current build. With the Green Enchantment Ramp I usually get Starfield out by turn 3.

I haven't had a chance to play against any Tron decks unfortunately. Everyone has gone hyper-aggressive-agro with their decks (hence the Fleeces and Condems). I was hoping Kruphix's Insight and Multiple Starfields (a Starfield can bring back a killed Starfield, after all) would offset the potential weaknesses to a boardwipe, but I haven't gotten to test against it.

So I got a couple new packets of sleeves from Japan and I'm noticing a huge difference between packets.

The top picture has 100 cards, 50 from one packet, and 50 from another. The bottom has them alternating every 10 sleeves.

If you like deck brewing, Standard will be more your style. The format can take a couple weeks to get solved, so you can play around with different ideas without being considered a memelover.
If you like competitively playing the game, Modern is for you. There are tons of decks you can build and play, but if they're sub-optimal you will get called out for it.

My area is 90% white and 10% asian, but can't speak for everywhere. People get scrubbed in trades but I haven't heard of any outright theft.

Competitively Magic is much more expensive, but Modern's powercreep (Eldrazi excluded) isn't anywhere near as bad as YGO's. You can build a deck and use it for quite a while, and lands/utility cards can be used in multiple shells.
I dropped YGO when Qli took over the format, and Eldrazi are basically that without the Extra Deck shenanigans.

Yugioh has reprints all the time so MTG is fucking expensive. The power creep is also different. On one yugi set you can make a badass deck worth hundreds but then on the next set you can make a better badass deck worth the same while the previous deck's price falls.

Should I add In pyroclasm for elves/affinity/goblins ? Is anger of the gods a better choice?

GB death cloud has sort of been a fringe deck forever and I think its pretty similar to the wildfire strategies of yore. I think the real problem is that decks trying to play the controlling role every game find there are just not enough generic answers to all the linear strategies, so you're just going to basically pick which decks run you over and which you can fight.

Extra skullcrack effects in the SB are always good. 4 main 2 side has worked well for me. Having 5 of between palm and path seems like overkill to me, since you are generally going to want to target the same types of creature (wurmcoil, pumped infect guys).

What are you expecting that will require rest in peace? That card more than anything sticks out to me. It's a good idea to avoid bringing in cards that cannot deal damage to your opponent obviously, so I could see shaving them.

Anger is a better sweeper, but 3 mana is a lot for burn. The decks you mentioned you're likely better off trying to race and eschew sweepers altogether.

Maybe I just don't have much experience playing against the deck, but it seems like if I hold back removal to counter combo, he always floods and races me, but if I go for tempo and board, he just blows me out with combo.

I have a lot of extra sideboard spots, should I bring in something like Grafdigger's Cage to hose it along with the rogue Dredge/Breach decks? Is bringing in and racing a sweeper package enough to set him back?

I really just don't have much experience playing against the deck, and I always seem to have clunky hands that don't match his gameplan, or don't get to the sideboard stuff fast enough.

I'm a little frustrated at the minute because I'm low on dough, and decided to sell a Near Mint Tarmogoyf I pulled right around Christmas. We're talking never played, never riffled or shuffled, physically touched maybe 3-4 times. I'd been meaning to sell it, and decided now was the time.

Did some minor market research for where to sell, and the site I checked said tcgplayer would be better than ebay for a more expensive card like this one. So I fill out all the shit to sell stuff on tcgplayer, only to find out I'm a "1st level seller" and can't sell anything over $100!

My next assumption is Star City, but I also hear negative shit about them fairly frequently. So where should I go?

Probably the closest you will get to getting 100% of the card's market price. Will only really work if you have some feedback already. Everyone's going to be suspicious of the non-established guy who is selling one of the most popular and expensive cards in the game. You may or may not get lucky.

Talk to your local game stores, especially if you live in a city that does GPs and has established stores. If you're a regular they'll likely work something out with you, but don't expect to get much higher than 60-70% of the card's value unless you're going for store credit.

A MM2015 Tarmogoyf sells for about $140. Assuming your store takes 80% on trades, you'd be looking at ~$110 max credit.

Most buylists with credit are looking at around $90.

Also MM2015's are foil stamped, so selling on ebay is perfectly reasonable.

If you realize there's a pattern of people not pile-shuffling and counting your deck, it's easy to get away with. Which is funny, because all of the SCG/CFB/other team websites list "pile shuffle your opponent every time, you'll land free wins that way" as one of their top tips.

I built one that did alright. Specifically it was modeled after the old Eminent Domain decks which took the opponent's lands and ramped with artifacts until it could drop a wildfire. I had fun with it. It has a severe weakness to Liliana of the Veil, though.

I've tried playing this after seeing it and it's better without the root mazes, straight land removal in Reap and Sow or more Mwonvuli Acid Moss is just better, and make for far better top decks. I removed the Citadel Castellans as well, added some more ramp (Arbor Elf to replace the Mystics, Avacyn's Pilgrim) I added in Acidic Slime and Qasali Pridemage. Some more removal even. Deny their mana, and carry a Loam or Fleecemane Lion home. Also don't play the tapped lands, even basics are better, you really need a 1 drop, preferrably ramp.
Bad against decks that go wide or don't really care about their lands. Did pretty well in most other matchups.

Well Dredgevine seems like a decent option. Might make the deck a bit more resilient and a bit grindier, the problem being that if you run this, you might want to go for BUG and not for Jund colors, and you lose stuff like Looting in favor of Hedron Crab ...

It could be good as a double striker but in the type of deck this would fit in (Zoo or something) it's probably pretty hard to enable Delirium, much less by turn 2... So I would imagine it will be a first striking bear for 90% of the time, probably not good enough for MDN since Thalia doesn't even see play and she's way better than this dude at face value.
