Hey, im having an issue with stockings, whenever i try to wear them, it breaks my skin texture.. (face texture/hands/feet stay, but the body texture breaks and turns into a solid tan skin color that doesnt match the rest of the body, and no bump textures etc) does anyone know why its doing this? if you have more than one body mod in your folder it uses whichever one is first alphabetically.
you can use TK Custom Body Tool or EMFS tool to create a custom character .txx, which causes a single character to show up in your roster instead of changing every female if you want to have different characters with different body mods.

Yeah. You can actually mimic Hook5 in Hook4 by adding spotlights/omnilights and Reshade.

The downside to this is that you need to spend so much time to place the lights in the right places at the right angle, and you will need to readjust all of them for every pose or position in the room to get the best effects.

And setting up the coordinates for the lights in level definition is a pain in the ass. It's all trial and error.

As for hook5 i'm starting to think it will never be released, i think the only way anyone will get it is by buying/donating.

After two days and 12 hours, I have a new computer up and running, and half of my games installed.

FINALLY I can use the 4GB Patch, since now I ACTUALLY have 4GB of RAM. The framerate is flat 15 (which is an increase, really, from 10FPS), but the game loads so much faster. It's nuts.

It's 4:40 AM here and I should go to uni in 1 hour and 20 minutes, but I was hyped to try this new computer out. Sadly no time for actually putting effort in pictures.

I hope to have time to make the Cookie pictures I wanted to do.

Also, any tips at getting a better framerate? I want to optimize this shit all I can now that I have a less toaster-y computer, and if I manage to get to 30FPS (or at least 20something) I might try animating again.

So I've gone down the rabbit hole with TK, and now spend way too much of my time making scenes and what have you.

I've also downloaded a metric fuckload of models, poses, rooms, and textures. As a result, my load times when loading into a room have gone from what was like 30 seconds at vanilla to now over 7 minutes.

Am I missing some sort of easy fix to reduce load times? Or is this just something I have to deal with because I've downloaded so many mods?

keep track of all the .txx files you install and how much you use them, sometimes I download a new dress and use it like 3 times, I delete it and recopy it when I want to use it again.
unfortunally this is a old ass game, fragmentation is normal

personal advice, those load times are what make this game tedious and take too much time, but once it runs it's ok

Did this feature not make its way into K17 or something? I see plenty of people having to edit their TV texture files and shit, yet the base game has had this all along. You can even have movies playing on the in-game green screens using this shit.

First of all u need a 4k monitor and card that supports it to even see the 4x texture. Second u need to update all ur r9 files and download hd clothers, hair, teeth etc. as well also as a hd room and hook level definitions. Finally u install 4x enabler mod, use photoshop to make texture 4k and include it in the .txt and update hook main skin

I got the game from the garden, but haven't been an active poster since i'm still learning my way around the pose edit and how to create clothing.

I do plan on uploading the pose I'm working on animating, once I've gotten it properly animated, linked, interactive, etc. Even if it's only one pose, it's a pose that I've never seen in any porn before and am 99.9% sure does not yet exist in TK17.

I've been looking all over to find out how to do a complete clean install. I had TK installed a couple of times, but I want to start new with veryslows pack. However, I always seem to have some files in my game that shouldnt be in there since I must miss another installation somewhere on my hard drive. How can I make it so that I can play this game completly clean (except wiping my hard drive)? Do I gotta delete some shit in my registry?

Thanks, I tried that after posting. It doesn't work with the portable install method. Works with normal install and then overwrite with the repack, BUT it doesn't like using the DirectX option. Is that just not used nowadays?
