The entire collection of electronic music off of the Monstercat label/channel. Dubstep, house, Drum n bass, trap, all that good wubby shit. I also got a few other EPs uploaded if you wanna check those out. Also, general electronic music thread. Requests are welcome. All I have is 320MP3 though. No FLACs.
>>642583 Yeah I understand that. Too bad I'm actually a giant faggot :^) But Monstercat is designed to get artists recognized by bigger labels. Look at how Krewella got. I know they're pretty much dead but before the shitstorm. That's why Monstercat signs tracks, not artists. A lot of them have a lot of potential. >por example
I know it's slightly off topic but anyone here got a link to a good ableton torrent for windows. The ones I'm finding since tpb went down never have the actual instrument library with them, not even drum racks etc. Just completely plain ableton and tbh its shit without anything to use. so yeah, anyone plis
There was a uploader on TPB before it got taken down called dafuq and he uploaded a bunch or really good electronic music every month... a bunch of different genres you can find it at whadafuq.com its what i have been using for music for months
In this torrent >>640820 there over 6000 tracks and it is almost 60 Gig without sub folders (but would be probaply be better with sub folder) and it is not the biggest one i have seen, so there are not much excuses to put such zip ins torrent. I also don't wont to deal with zip from mega, because it is less convenient as having a proper torrent file.
It's not big problem, but simply not convenient, because you have to download the whole thing before you can extract and play tracks. And it's not even smaller, because mp3's do not compress very well (its already compressed as it is). If you have proper torrent, you can download the torrent partial and play single file as soon as they are complete, and you can prioritize single files or sub folders to be downloaded sooner. What for program do you use to create the torrent file?
>>643706 I use BitTorrent. When I uploaded this, it was meant for people that just wanted the whole thing. I actually tried looking for a way to do like you said with the subfolders, but Google gave me nothing.
Then you have the "Create New Torrent" click on "add Directory" then find the folder containing the folder, you wont to be in torrent, choose it with 1 click (don't go inside) and click open, after that as usual. Otherwise uTorrent, Vuze and Transmissionbt (my favourite) are good alternatives to bittorrent.
I believe GQ did a best of monstercat mix one time, if someone had a good quality cut of that I'd be very appreciative. Also, looking forward to the full discography when it's not all zipped up into one terribad mess. Also, did Ephixa just fuck off and die, or what?
And for any interested, check out Ghostly Swim 2. http://www.adultswim.com/music/ghostlyswim2/ Free as fuck, and it's a solid album between Adult Swim and Ghostly. The first Ghostly Swim is in my top 5 electronica/dance albums of all time, while this one's more downtempo and NIN-influenced it's still worth a listen.
they were good when they first got started, but all their recent shit just sounds samey and boring. generic beat, generic melodies, generic female vocals. outside of a few gems, they stopped being good right around 014
