It's not big problem, but simply not convenient, because you have to download the whole thing before you can extract and play tracks. And it's not even smaller, because mp3's do not compress very well (its already compressed as it is). If you have proper torrent, you can download the torrent partial and play single file as soon as they are complete, and you can prioritize single files or sub folders to be downloaded sooner. What for program do you use to create the torrent file?

I use BitTorrent. When I uploaded this, it was meant for people that just wanted the whole thing. I actually tried looking for a way to do like you said with the subfolders, but Google gave me nothing.

Then you have the "Create New Torrent" click on "add Directory" then find the folder containing the folder, you wont to be in torrent, choose it with 1 click (don't go inside) and click open, after that as usual. Otherwise uTorrent, Vuze and Transmissionbt (my favourite) are good alternatives to bittorrent.

The dafuq torrents is so much more chaff than wheat that it's pretty unusable. I got the last one, found about 1% of the music worthwhile and deleted the rest. Avoid.
