The Patriots were not historically bad. They, like a few other teams I could name from this era, had the misfortune of playing in the same division as the winning coach in NFL history for 26 years. Dude I agree completely. Cousins has put up good numbers, but Beathard's in somewhat of the same position that Cousins was in when he was drafted. Shanny found a little-known guy in the mid rounds that he can groom into a great signal-caller, without any pressure. Beathard needs polishing on looking away safeties and his pocket presence, but other than that it looks like he could develop into a very solid QB.

Rhodes got paid but he's worth it. The Vikings defense as a whole is probably top 5 but they have some interesting pieces that probably haven't peaked yet and have elite potential (Rhodes, Kendricks, Hunter, Barr?). That defense could be great this year but godly in 2 years.
