wew, I don't think they would play nice together. I actually think Ricciardo is probably the best teammate for someone like Max, pushes him a bit but not too hard also isn't the sort of person to blow up or be put off by some imagined slight cause by the other driver and start an interteam spat like Alonso and Max would probably do together.

Last year I said this years Baku race would be a lot better as the drivers would be less scared and would push a lot harder on a track they know a bit better...but seeing how wide the cars are and how bad Monaco was I feel this could be another procession.

And also not analyzing how events develop during the season; Sainz will likely leave Red Bull/STR like he already tried last year, Vettel doesn't want Ricciardo as a team mate and Ferrari has 0 problems with it, Grosjean will be dumped even by Haas and everyone who thinks Wehrlein is still a marketable driver is just wrong

No, two top drivers are not as good as you think, just see Rosberg/Hamilton. One was an above average driver and they basically stole eachothers points, that's not a porblem if you are racing in a two car championship but as of today you need a clear first drive to push for the WDC and a great enough second driver to score solid points behind the other one for the WCC, just see Hamilton and Bottas

I think that If Williams had a good driver they would be giving RedBull sleepless nights.

Bottas did Massa in last year 17 - 3 in qualifying and Massa has been qualifying religiously behind the RedBulls this year, a better driver in the Williams seat could probably pinch a few gridspots from RedBull on occasion.

FWIW, Rory Byrne has been doing 50-60 hour weeks at Maranello again, since last year. Not exactly full time, because in his full time years he'd do 80 hour weeks, but he's scaled up his involvement since last year. Explains why Ferrari is good again.

Aldo Costa, in the early 2000s, was the practical, pragmatic side of the design department, while Rory would handle creative, which is why many of the late-MSC era Ferraris co-credit Costa on design.

Plus, some people just have an innate talent for design, even in engineering. It may be in their approach and thought process, towards a particular kind of problem. Look at the Russian space program. Was brilliant until Korolev died, continued competently enough till his deputy was in charge afterward. art style is what the artists draw or animated, how detailed and varied that is etc.

This is a game rooted in reality, but the physics have indeed been manipulated for mass market appeal. Personally, I don’t mind them one bit. The game drives a bit like the old FSOne mods for rFactor; much simpler compared to the other stuff out there, but in the context of a huge game with ruthless AI and a massive offline career mode, it’s nothing to complain about. I saw someone make a comment that the game is "70% simulation, 30% arcade", and that’s a pretty accurate summary.
