Really struggling these past few 20 or so games. Got relegated from Div 1 to 2 and am losing handfuls of games in singles. Even if I'm dominating possession, getting more shots on goal, and commanding play, I end up losing to a guy that got fewer shots or the same as me, especially those who just rely on going defensive and countering, even on my own corner. I'm a guy that kinda likes to play an aggressive tiki taka but can lob the ball to my wingers when the opportunity arises. Any advice lads? I'll post my teams if anybody's interested.

Made a seria a team tonight since I'm in that nothings working phase. Tots torreria isn't bad for near discard if u need a small fast pass bot. Dzeko new card is really good aswell but I've always liked his ifs. And de rossi is a boss.

Only thing that worries me is seria a will have no good cheap tots cards (besides belotti which I'm looking forward to).

tl;dr I've never got the hang of 17. In 15 and 16 I was between divs 1-3. This year I'm between divs 6-7. Can I get some basic tips? My rapid players don't seem to make breaks like their rapid players do.

How are you supposed to play this game? I just got sbc lacazette and he doesn't do anything. He doesn't majecany runs at all. He's often nowhere to be found when I'm going forward. When he does get to shoot he's got the worst shooting I've used this year, finesse does nothing.

If I play it slow, wait for an easy pass, my players still take retarded touches that end up going straight to their guys. If I tap a button I've got no idea how hard they're gonna hit the ball. Sometimes they pelt it, sometimes they just release it from their posession.

I've spent so much time practicing penalties, but in a game scenario I can't score them. I've scored something silly like 1 in 10. A couple if saves, but mostly I smack it off the posts.

Most frustratingly, I've noticed recently that either a. Players do a through ball when I try to do a pass (or vice versa) and b. The game will almost randomly player switch. Either the opponent is making a counter from a corner or something, and it switches to someone somewhere else on the pitch, or I'm running to collect a loose ball, get 3/4 there and then it switches to a stationary player just kind of there and I don't get to it. Sometimes I can be running in a direction and it will make the player I'm controlling run off at a weird angle (like your striker dies when offside).

I keep reading and checking that buttons still do what they're supposed to do and they just don't.

I can't make anyone pressure a player anymore. There doesn't seem to be no touch dribbling anymore even though the entire ad campaign was based on it. Protect the ball only intermittently works and make a run never does. I've bought the same players I've just faced because they dawdle through my defence and when I have them they don't do anything.

So many of my games I have like 2-3 times more shots on target than my opponent but his goalkeeper saves everything while mine just lets everything in.

I'm assuming it's because of my shit finishing but I just don't know. Am I not putting enough power on the shots? If I try to go low-driven they ALWAYs get a leg out to block it, if I try power they just miss. Finesse shots usually go in the middle of the goal.

I'm tempted to set manual shooting atm, I've had luck with it in the past because at least you get less screwed over by rng.
