I was pretty meh about it at first but I've come around. A first next year would be low and we had an extra third to burn. There's also a good amount of defensive talent in this draft so I'm not too concerned about finding someone to pair up with Peters or someone to ease the workload on DJ. Basically the value was fine for me. From a mechanical and talent standpoint the air raid concerns seem overblown as well. This kid knows how to make reads and adjustments better than any air raid babby and with Reid I'm confident he can work out the kinks with his footwork. Overall I like it.
