I'm lucky that recently my favourite colour has been blue so I can swap between Chelsea and Man City depending on who is doing well (I mean I was Leicester through and through last season but why bother this season?). I did like red growing up though with Arsenal and Man United but I grew out of that around 2012

Poor Saint's. They deserved it. Now the media will suck Mouyes off for winning the League Cup (the BBC called it a 'major trophy' as well). Yet /sp/ will claim the FA Cup doesn't count. Only the Title and the CL.

Also why have the threads split up? What does non-league mean? When we talked about other leagues it made for a more enjoyable thread.
>>

Yeah they were really really good. Uniteds defence was just shocking at times (especially Rojo), it does depress me a little (even as a Utd fan) when these teams who might never reach a final in a long time lose to teams who'll probably forget about it in a week.

Probably hurts more when they'll get raided for their best players again.

I think Ibra is the perfect test to see if the PL really is that difficult. And it isn't. A 35 year old man is scoring bucket loads in his first season in the country ffs.
>>
>>74405641
Ibra was one of the best strikers in the world. Fabrizio Ravanelli scored a debut hattrick for Middlesbrough and he was 30. Just because he's old doesn't mean he can't score. Remember Michu? He was top scorer on his debut season and then he died and turned into nothing. Sanchez scored like 20 goals for Arse in his debut season. First season is usually good because people aren't used to their play style. It's the 2nd and 3rd season which are the mark of a true player.

Rooney is doing awful.

>>74403638
Did you hear the commentator reaction to the freekick? Fuck sake.

>>74403480
Saint's got unlucky, sadly. The media couldn't let Mouyes fail. United are still in the FA Cup and Europe, right? Mouyes could still win a treble, if not a Quadruple if Chelsea royally fuck up.

>>74403332
A pity (You).

>>74403422
What, why? I support Oxford and I hang around here and talk about shit. I follow most PL teams, mostly Arse but I like Saint's too, local team (sort of). Also I think Saint's defence is still good.
>>
>>74403253

Some autists deemed "non-league" to be anything below PL (even though EFL is also league), and sperged out whenever any non-PL stuff was posted. You can blame it on them.

I can remember it like it was yesterday. There had been a tremendous build up in the weeks before. Brenny and Stevie G had decided it would be a good idea for the warriors to arrive for the last home games in a team bus.The premier league winners 13/14 T- shirts were even outselling the `five times' ones. I knew all this because I had been following it on sky sports with Carra and Tommo.

Put sky sports on for the build-up. Just after lunch I put my full kit on. Both scarves ready, kissed the badge five times. On sky sports there was Carra, Tommo, Lawro, Hanno. They then kept showing interviews with Brenny and Stevie G, who had come up with another great idea. They said that the warriors were going to do it for the '96 in the sky'.

The game kicked off. We were murdering them (don't mention Heysel). Stevie G was brilliant; he had given a rousing speech at the last game, telling everyone that this does not slip now. Some time in the second half, I am sure someone fouled Stevie G, and he slipped up, with Ba getting the ball and scoring. Stevie G must have been fouled as it is never his fault, but sky would not show the proper replay to prove it. Anyway, I felt sure Brenny would sort things out. I could not believe it when they scored again, clearly offside. Everyone is against us; we have not even had a penalty for at least three games.

I screamed and banged my head against the wall. Mum shouted up to me to stop it, saying it always seems to end like this every year.

Anyway, I kissed my badge again five times and wiped away the tears. Brenny came on to be interviewed by sky. He said we have to believe, and will put ten past Palace next game.

We were 3-0 up and heading for 10. The next thing, it was 3-3. Louis and Stevie G were crying, Brennies bottom lip was going. I am sure I heard laughing from the bitter next door.

Anyway, next year will be our year. As long as the refs are fair with us, they only gave us 14 penalties last season.

Five times la, five times.

in scotland it just means loans outwith a transfer window.

you can also only have a maximum of 4 loans per season here, which Raith already have, so they couldn't get anyone in goal on loan.

Both wouldn't surprise me. Sanchez wants to win too badly to remain with a team that doesn't care about winning.

Ozil I think is just putting on charades that he loves Arsenal and wants to stay with the club. He could go else where, play at the same level, have better stats and probably win a trophy of relevance.
>>

>Mesut Ozil says Jose Mourinho once accused him of being a "coward" and "too nice to tackle" in a dressing room argument during their time at Real Madrid.
>In an excerpt published in German magazine Bild, Ozil writes that Mourinho told him: "You think two beautiful passes are enough ... You think you're so good that fifty percent is enough. You think you are too nice to tackle."
>Mourinho then added: "Do you know what your tackling looks like? No? I'll show you." And then, Ozil writes, Mourinho tiptoed in front of Ozil with his hands close to his side with pursed lips and proceeded to hop all over the changing room.
