Have you ever (hilarious to even be asking you a question like this, as you obviously have never done anything with your life) competed in athletics? How about in college? How about professionally? Not just professionally, but at the absolute pinnacle of the sport? For an athlete at that level, do you have any idea how much it takes, how important every detail is in terms of training, diet and recovery?

If no (and again, I have a feeling you haven't done ANYTHING with your life, let alone competed in serious athletics), then I don't think you understand just how crucial rest is for a traveling team.

I don't know why I haven't been scouted yet. I have a GREAT face and I think I can fuck up a gorilla with my bare hands by now.

I practiced MMA for 7 years now, boxing in parallel for 6 years, I could.
Not to count strength training at the gym for 4 years, 6 ft 1 1/2 for 189 lbs.

I have an insane speed, reflexes similar to my speed. I just have to wait for him to charge me, dodge his attacks, and throw good punches to his head. I won't stop, and at the smallest mistake he does, the gorilla is finished.

You'll always have virgins from here thinking that it's impossible. First, nothing is impossible with will, my friends, and 2) that's not with your weak ass bodies that you'll do anything.
Any man with a minimum of training can beat a gorilla with a knife anyway. With bare hands, that is not necessarily more complicated, it just requires technical skills.

Why does everyone forgot about the touchdown in the third quarter?

Matt Ryan really didn't do anything wrong. That other drive when they got deep into Patriots territory was ruined by shit playcalling.

Because it was 2 wide open players for 65 yards, Ryan didn't make a single difficult throw other than the sideline catch by Julio which no other receiver in the league could have made

Matt Ryan choked taking those two sacks at the end. Then couldn't pick up enough yards on 3rd & 33 to get back into field goal range. He and his team choked all year when they didn't blow the opponent out, and that trend continued in the Super Bowl.

In fairness to Revis, you can tell that he literally only came to the Patriots for a ring. It was the thing missing on his resume so he went and took it. Then the Jets gave him a fuckhuge contract, and he was already kind of old by that point, so he was happy to take it. It's probably the last big contract he'll ever have.

My guess for months now is that it will be the Bills. It's the perfect storm. It LOOKS like a good decision for them, but it's secretly a terrible decision. The ownership is dumb enough to do it, too.

What sucks for the Falcon is this choke is all they will be known for. Their team has zero personality on it. Bland kind of good QB. Elite WR who keeps quiet. Rest of the team are nobodies. They have no prior historic run that people remember. The Warriors choked 3-1 but they won the year before and are still contenders. Indians were forgotten as the CUBS FINALLY WON. 18-1 was horrid for the Patriots but they still had won before. This is THE CHOKE.

I don't want him either. I was just pointing out our RBs were leaving.

Right now if you're a running back, and you're fine being a back up or feel like you can win the job over Zeke, you should want to be a Cowboy. And a lot of running backs do.

We should be looking for RBs that are great receivers and use them the same way the Falcons use Coleman and Freeman.

If we had a dual RB receiver formation we'd push our offense to the next level.
Hopefully we get a good WR in the draft or a FA that could be complementary to Dez if Williams/Butler leaves.

>>
>>74123324
>And will it be New Orleans or Tampa in LII?

No
>>
>>74123324

'15 Panthers and '16 Falcons were mere pretenders that got favorable matchup along the way.

'02 Bucs and '09 Saints were actually elite teams that had to destroy legit competition and not a Packers team that was on life support.

Also Carolina and Atlanta have fanbases prone to buying hard into their own hype. They lack the innate fear that Tampa and NO's fanbases have despite not being all too different historically.
>>
>>74123434
This is such fucking bullshit the Falcons had a 25 point lead on them and would've won the game if not for a massive choke job by their coaching staff and lucky plays by the Patriots.

They beat an amazing Packers team that wasn't on life support and was just as good offensively but couldn't keep up morally or physically.

Calling the Falcons pretenders after the fact is just plain retardation and it's so recent to revise history at this stage is absurd.

You don't know shit.
>>
>>74123464

m8 the Packers secondary was absolutely destroyed by injuries. And their run game was piecemeal all season.

It was essentially Rodgers and the offense trying not to drown with the dead body that is the defense chained to them

>lucky plays by the Patriots.
Blowing past the RT and causing a fumble is not a "lucky play".
James White having 130 yards and 3 TDs is not because of "lucky plays".

The Patriots found dire weaknesses in the Falcons and exploited the hell out of them.

Here is a few little tidbits and FACTS about the game that might push you over the edge

After going up 28-3 with over 8 minutes left in the 3rd quarter the Atlanta falcons only ran the ball 5 more times the rest of the game

The Falcons also left 3 minutes and 56 seconds on the clock after the game was all said in done. This is mainly attributed to the Falcons leaving 10+ seconds on the play clock almost EVERY. SINGLE. PLAY. after the Patriots missed their extra point when the score was 28-9 as well as only running 5 times in 24 minutes.

Coincidentally that 3 minutes and 56 seconds is the exact amount of time for Tom Brady and the Patriots to engineer their comeback.

How do you feel now?

Falcons have a really good team, your defense just ran out of gas at the end because they were on the field too much. They'll be back.

Why is it that every person who's played a few Madden games knows clock management better than actual NFL head coaches? lol There was a time where Whites didnt even think blacks could play. Then they thought they couldnt even be good at qb at all.

Face the facts, blacks tend to be taller and more athletic.

There is a reason you don't see many white receivers putting up big numbers. And that's the reason they aren't valued that much.

White receiver drops is what almost cost brady the game.

They are just as valued as they should be. Bradys receivers aren't that great. There's a reason brady with his revolving door of receivers and backs makes them all look good.

And when they leave they go back to being subpar.

Gronk is the only true GREAT receiver on the team, and he is a TE and white.

I suspect both the Steelers and Bengals will hold onto Roethlisburger and Flacco for longer than it helps them, and when they do retire they're caught with their pants down without a good replacement QB.
The Bengals seem like they're going to be bad for a while, regardless of what happens with Lewis.
And the defense needs the most help, the line was just killed with injuries this year. I suspect they'll pick up a FA and plug where needed.
I wonder if Kessler will ever step up. As it is now, he's just a backup QB that hasn't won any games. Will age and experience take him to the next level.

>>74126025
The thing about Roethlisberger is that he seems frustrated with the results, I believed he has been calling out his receivers for not picking up their game; and AB, despite being great and all, seems to be a distraction.

Ravens losing players in the FA usually goes unnoticed thanks to their front office drafting skills, but they haven't had any luck replacing the talent is past drafts.

Bengals have a lot of talent, but it seems that their window has already closed.

Kessler looks great in my opinion, I would gladly keep him and develop the offense around him.

>>74126056
Flacco is great QB and already proved he can win games when it matters, Ravens don't really know what to do with him.

>his best receivers have been old men Boldin, Steve Smith and Derrick Mason
>has had different OC almost every season

>>
>>74126267
Yeah, I wasn't impying it was something positive. Like I said, Torrey had all the potential to become as dominant as Julio Jones but he ended being a slob.
>>
>>74126162
Flacco is essentially an eternal mid tier quarterback that won a ring. I would compare his career to Brad Johnson's desu. Wasn't carried as hard as Johnson but Flacco has done nothing since and his contract was the raven's biggest mistake ever.
>>
>>74126293
Nah, after seeing what he has done in the playoffs, at least in my opinion, there's no doubt he could be one of the greats in another team.

The organization doesn't know how to handle QBs, ever since his arrival, the Ravens were always a run first team, with good reason tho, it just worked.

The thing about it, is that they lost almost any talent they had in the oline, and haven't really found a reliable RB since Ray Rice. So they opted for a throw first offense without a reliable Oline and unironically having Marc Trestman as your OC; I'm surprised he threw for more than 4000 yards with such a shit playbook.
>>
>>74126425
thats the thing, ravens can't afford a better offensive line and weapons because they're paying flacco so much.

Flacco is a complimentary piece, one that can get hot but can't consistently succeed without a top tier running game to take pressure off him.

paying flacco a shit ton for a four game stretch is completely retarded. Hes not recapping the magic and thats becoming more and more clear that playoff run was an aberration and not the norm.
>>
only 79 days till the draft lads
>>
>>74126500
Flacco's playoff resume is all around good/great, I think he only has two or three bad games, and mostly comes from the era in which they didn't let him throw the ball unless the running game failed.

Is not that they can't afford it, Flacco's salary doesn't really hurt the team, is the dead money that keeps them from obtaining good FA pieces.

But I agree with you, Ravens work better with a balanced offense and let Flacco do his playoff magic; I think Gary Kubiak demostrated that the year he was with them.
>>
>>74126581

literally just management making up some bs so they can maybe not pay him as much as he deserves, which, realistically, should be a ridiculous contract.

If you threw Antonio Brown on the pats offense he would, without a doubt, break many, many records. It'd be like Moss but in this case with Brown's combination of route running and hands and Brady's pinpoint accuracy they would literally be unstoppable. Ben had a meh season and pretty much rested on his playmakers, first and foremost brown.

I do, personally. Brady wants to play 3 or 4 more years, Patriots believe he can.

If we can get the 12 pick from Cleveland (or the 3 pick from Chicago, which is highly unlikely), that's a good asset to have. Can always draft another QB and groom him in the next few years.

I don't really think they have an option. If they want to win soon, they better convince Roethlisberger not to retire and retain Brown. I even think they can afford losing Bell; if DeAngelo Williams can run with that Oline, I think a good RB prospect could replace his ground production.

Of course, if Roethlisberger retires; I think they should focus on the defense.

>>
>>74126834
I assume it will be like in Baltimore right after they left Cleveland. All of the systems that Bilicheck implemented into his staff will still be used, but they'll lack his discerning eye, so they'll slowly fall apart.
Who knows what they're going to do for QB. Nobody will be able to live up to the expectations of Brady.
>>
>>74127045
Hoyer and Cassel were shitty prospects

Ryan Mallett had arm talent but there was a lot of smoke that the pats weren't high on him which hurts his trade value.
>>
>>74127045
Look at the market for QBs.

Sam Bradford costed the Vikings a 1st and a 4th.
QBs all over the league are undeservingly being paid 20+ million dollars a season.

Thats how desperate teams are for a good QB. As far as Garoppolo goes, I think he can be a serviceable NFL QB, maybe even a good one.

Is he worth a 1st rounder? Maybe not, but other teams around the league have set his value.
>>
>>74126895

I still think QB needy teams (Jets, Bears, 49ers) should retain their picks and draft whatever it suits them better.

Teams like Browns, Broncos or Texans should stick to Kessler, Siemian and Osweiler, respectively.

thing is that the browns have two first rounders, and the first pick of the second round. if they can get jimmy for the 33rd overall pick, i'd already do that deal with this weak QB class.

at the 12th overall pick i might consider watson if he's still there, but that could also be a good pick for teambuilding. i'm sure the 1st overall is off the table, but if the browns aren't enamored with the prospects in this draft, a swap for the 12th or 33rd is entirely possible, and might even be the better option.

I don't know a fucking thing about the draft this year.
Are there any good non-fumbling power backs, coverage LBs, flexible CBs, or generally good centers?
>>
>>74127944
>non-fumbling power backs
d'onta foreman from texas is probably the best power back that the pats would realistically be able to get. he fumbled 4 times last season. samaje perine from OU only fumbled twice all season, and he's a tank. probably a 3rd rounder

this class is absolutely rife with good CBs, first 3 rounds will be full of possible starters. as far as centers, both ethan pocic from LSU and pat eiflein from aOSU are top 100 prospects.

I missed watching the live action of Brady becoming immortal.

I missed the pats overcoming 25 points.

Missed Hightower sack Ryan. Missed Edelman catching a Tyree catch. Missed the game tying drive. Missed the Amendola extra point. Missed the coin toss. Missed the last drive.

I don't see why not, the rest of the AFC isn't exactly strong. Patriots right now are probably the most balanced team in the NFL.

There are a number of good NFC teams, but none of them are really "great", Atlanta may be the best of the NFC, but the losers of the Super Bowl the season before tend not to make it back there.
