You think so? Pena just smothers people so hard. Even against Shevchenko, there was a point where she abandoned technique and just tried to drag Shevchenko to the ground by trying to out muscle her.
I know Nunes herself is strong, but Pena doesn't let up and just makes it a boring af fight.
She was "beating" Shevchenko for most of the fight. Her knees looked pretty decent but Shevchenko just shrugged them off so I don't reckon she was actually doing much damage despite that.

Nunes is good at keeping range, she'd do far better than Shevchenko who wasn't even trying to do that but once Pena grabs someone she doesn't let up. Her striking isn't non existent either

Pena has an alright chin though, but that said Nunes isn't terrible in the clinch either. I just don't think it's that clear cut though

Pena's smothering style is tough for girls to deal with because of her strength. Even Zingano couldn't really handle it. She grabs girls and doesn't let go, but also doesn't take many risks and look to finish.

Compared to more efficient grapplers like Khabib who constantly look to move position and get not only control but do damage, it's shitty to watch. But tbf Pena looked to be doing damage to Shevchenko, I was impressed with her knees

It would take a 2 year long court battle, and that's assuming a judge would even approve at the end. He could go through a lengthy legal battle and still end up stuck in the UFC. Its on a case by case basis, if you could just get a boxing license and automatically void your contract, people would be doing it all the time.

Basically a judge would have to decide whether or not he wants the fight to be stopped, and that would be a short matter.
The UFC would probably sue him after that to allege that he breached his contract and needs to reimburse them, and that would probably be lengthy.
But if the judge rules in the UFCs favour and says the fight can't happen then Conor has the choice of either accepting it or countersuing and then he'd be stuck.

I can't help but think a judge would side with the UFC, since he would be trying to breach his contract, and the lawyers of WME have more influence and connections than whoever Conor would hire. Also it's hard to call Conor a boxer just because he has a license, since he has zero amateur or professional fights, but I guess that's up to a judge. Ali Act aims to make sure boxers are not stopped from competing by coercive contracts. As long as McGregor wants to box, someone willing to pay for him to box and he has a boxing license he is a boxer.
Now is the UFC a boxing promoter? Dana offered $25M to Conor and Floyd to fight under the UFC in a boxing match. That definitely helps Conor's case.
