Juanfran is a poor choice at RM due to his awful shooting stats. TOTY Kroos is way too slow to be effective, especially in this formation (I really wanted to like him but he was just useless for me). Get someone like IF N'Zonzi instead of Kroos and then get Nerman or a legend (if you're on xbox) at LF. My finishing was poor (I had 2 point-blank chances with Modric and a great chance with Ronaldo and squandered all of them) but almost all his shots were just firing longshots from 30+ yards out. My players also kept misplacing easy throughballs that would have put me in alone on goal all game. TOTY cards will in almost all cases be the highest rater version of a player (Ronaldo last year was an exception). TOTY prices will probably slowly decline but so will most other high-end cards.

That squad you posted has a lot of weaknesses despite costing almost 4 million coins. With that kind of budget you'd be much better off building something like pic related. Downgrading some TOTY players and getting Ronaldo would also be a good idea. I've got him at LF in my 3421 and he's by far the best player in the game.

Elite 3 gives you 70k coins, 3 TOTW players, and 1 100k pack. The TOTW players will net you at least 40k (probably more depending on the TOTW) and the 100k pack will likely get you 20-30k if you don't have any great pulls. If you get elite 3 every week I bet you average out to more than 150k/week since you're likely to get at least a couple expensive players.

Elite 3 is achievable with a 100k team if you're good. An an above-average player with your typical EPL squad (Martial, Kante, Smalling, etc) should at least be achieving Gold 3 every week. That will net you about 50k assuming you don't get any good pulls.

Your results don't actually improve that much as your team gets more expensive. I got 27 wins in my first WL with a cheap Ligue 1 team + some loan players. Since then my best result has been 31 wins with a million coin team.

No shit, if two players have a similar skill level then the team or maybe luck will be a deciding factor.

You won't magically become a good player just because you have a front 3 of Ronaldo, Griezmann and Bale. If you come up against a better player than you with that front 3 you're equally as fucked as if you come up against the same player with Martial, Lukaku and Willian. That's 2.5 million vs about 60k.

Playing 60% possession is the greatest. Whenever the ball is intercepted the opponent proceeds to sprint in one direction, leading to predictable passes and turns. These ADD kids cant handle patience.
