>Sc-Scotland will come good this year
>Wales will finally be exposed in the Six Nations, r-right?
- Scotland are chokers. They'll be narrowly beaten in the first three weeks, humiliated in Twickenham and avoid the wooden spoon in the final week.
- Wales will, as always, step up their game for the Six Nations.
- England will have the tournament won at the end of the 4th week and will go to Ireland chasing the Grand Slam.
- Ireland will lose to Wales and fail to pick up bonuses against anyone but Italy.
- France will be poor to mediocre throughout the tournament. They'll survive a scare in Rome in week 4, but beat Wales the followingl week.
- >Shitaly

England will be beaten out the gate in the final round by a pashun-fuelled Ireland with nothing to play for, preventing England from breaking NZ's record and stopping the annual Grand Slam. Ireland will celebrate like they won the World Cup, and we will be treated to 8 months of cocky shitposting from my retarded countrymen.

Joe STILL r8s them for some fucking reason. If they hadn't gotten injured they'd have started every game last year. Connacht did us all a favour in the Pro12 final.

Despite having lost his spot for Leinster, Rob will start in the opening games. Zebo will be on the bench behind Trimble and Earls. O'Halloran won't even be in the matchday squad. This is despite Kearney having performed ONCE in the last three years. He will have to cost Ireland a game or two before he is finally deservedly dropped.

Again, that's not an argument for France beating Scotland. Have another potato Padraig
>>
>>73946478
>Irelel beating Englel
>>
>>73946555
Scotland have not beaten France in France since 1999. Even is 2013, when France finished last and Scotland finished 3rd, they lost in Paris. It will be France's first home match, after a hiding in Twickenham. The French will be angry, and the crowd will still believe they can win the tournament. The band will be as loud is can possibly be, the TV replays will repeatedly show anything that could be possibly be construed as foul play against France, while dirty French play will never be re-played. The French will go out there looking to hurt the Scots and if someone like Hogg or Russell goes off early, Scotland's depth is a big concern.

I still think it will be a close game, but Paris is a notoriously difficult place to go for any team, even with France's recent troubles, and Scotland's players just don't have that winning mentality yet, as shown in the Munster v Warriors game.

Is that enough reasons for you, my heroin-addicted friend?
>>
>>73946612
I've already explained how this will happen in another post: >>73945909

Ireland have a habit of pulling out big performances in less important/pointless games.

2007: Wallop England after having already lost the more important game against France
2011: Wallop England on the last day of the Six Nations despite being mathematically out and England chasing the annual Grand Slam
2011 again: Beat Australia, but disappear in the more important game against Wales
2015: Beat France, but disappear in the more important game against Argentina
2016: Beat South Africa with 14 men, but choke in the next to games, conceding the series to the worst Boks team in living memory
2016 again: Beat New Zealand in a one off blooter, fail to back it up

I'm predicting a near identical repeat of 2011 v England. England will be uncatchable on the final day, but Ireland will give their best performance of the next four years and win yet another pointless game. The boasting will be relentless, despite England still walking away with the title.
>>
>>73946818
I told you to have a potato friend, calm down.

This "Paris is difficult" shit has only worked in recent years when even a bad French side was still half decent. France are nothing now and we need to give up on this meme of "oooh which side will turn up ". The shite France will turn up.

It will likely be a close game I agree, but Scotland demolished France last year and during the autumn internationals proved that they are now able to handle the pressure of winning. They made Australia look average, managed to grind out a win against the Argies that usually we'd bottle, and spanked Georgia and didn't fall to their level.

As far as the Munster games, Munster are riding "Muh dead coach pashun" that most teams are struggling against and if anything the recent games have shown that the Warriors are getting a hold of them. Anyway Munster are a much, much better side than France who as a national unit are non-existent. Scotland on the other hand have a settled XV, great spirit and everything to prove.
>>
>>73947224
>able to handle the pressure of winning

Well that's literlaly all horseshit

First, Kearney hasn't lost his place, he just came back from injury. Nacewa usually plays wing when Kearney is fit. Byrne and O'Loughlin are fucking babbies and they've been covering wing while Rob was injured.

Schmidt will not start Earls ahead of Zebo, and I've no idea where you got that notion. Earls will be on the bench.

And Dave Kearney's one of the most mediocre players Ireland has ever capped.

>>
>>73947367
>Australia
They didn't lose the same way as in the RWC were they cracked under pressure, they just lost to a slightly more skillful team. That's progress.

>Argentina
Usually Scotland would have lost a shitty game like that. Again, it shows progress.

>Georgia
Scotland used to under perform against worse teams because they couldn't handle being the favourite. This time they handled the pressure of being the better team and didn't play down to Georgia's level.

We're also ignoring that France have regressed even further since last time. There's nothing delusional when I've got all this fucking evidence that Scotland are the slight favourites heading into the match. I'm starting to think you're the paddy with a constant hate hard on for Scotland since you're so desperate to bait "LE BTFO xDD".
>>
>>73948187
But kept Earls out of the squad entirely for the final test of the series vs New Zealand.

And he had about a year of bad form, yeah, but so did about half the squad, from the last 6N win til the South Africa tests. When he's played for Leinster and Ireland in the past few months he's looked more aggressive, his running's been better, he's godly under the high ball. I don't rate him as highly at FB as I do Zebo, but I'd much rather have Zebo and Kearney in the back 3 than Earls and Zebo. Or O'Halloran, for that matter.

>he doesn't rate o'halloran
He's been consistently outstanding in a dogshit season for Connacht. He's always attacked well, he's strong under the high ball, quicker than Kearney and for the past year, his last man defence has been excellent.

All Kearney has left is his high ball meme. The performance against New Zealand was a one off. He nearly always runs straight into contact and gets isolated and defensively he's been at fault for a fair few poor tries (vs O'Halloran in the Pro12 final is a particularly glaring example). He's been consistently average for years now and is getting picked on his reputation/familiarity with systems.

Back three for this tournament should be Trimble, Zebo and one of Earls or O'Halloran, with the other on the bench. When Payne comes back, it should be him, Trimble and Zebo.

Just a quick reminder that every single one of these autistically screeching anti-Scot posters were at one time cucked by a glorious Scottish man.

It could have been any kind of cucking, perhaps their gf couldn't resist the fiery ginger bush down below, maybe it was that job they missed out on to his Presbyterian work ethic, who knows?

But the truth remains, they were cucked, and they're hurting. It's ok for them to grieve and to lash out in childish and embarrassing ways, it's part of the natural healing process as they come to accept the superiority of the Scots in all areas of life. Please be gentle with them, as their posts show, they're pretty mentally unbalanced, and even the slightest thing could have them chugging pills and slitting their wrists.

Sexton has been both overrated and crocked for a few years now, no loss. Jackson is probably the better player at this stage and can actually last the full game.
Keatley is more than good enough to bench for the game, it's a pity bleyendaal isn't eligible yet though.

POM is the bigger loss, he turned the game against Australia and has been back to his best over the past few weeks. Hopefully he's back for the big games.

Zebo. Earls has been getting tries, but they're the kind where someone else has taken care of three players and you just dot it down. Earls is a good player, deserves to be on the Ireland bench, but he has an enormously inflated reputation.

It would shock me enormously if he made the Lions squad. Ahead of him for the back 3 currently, assuming all are fit, are Watson, May, Hogg, Seymour, North, Williams, Halfpenny (Gatland loves him), Zebo and Trimble, in no particular order.

Hopefully no Irish player travels. Being a Lion doesn’t mean what it used to. It’s a marketing exercise these days. Coupled with the fact that there is too much rugby these days, I’d much prefer if key players for Munster and Ireland put their feet up next summer and we’re able to crack into next season fresh and raring to go.

He's primarily a winger for Ireland. If we're talking provincial form and exclusively lads playing on the wing, I'd say Adam Byrne (not even a Leinster fan). Before his injury, I'd have said Sweetnam. Doesn't mean I want either of them in the team though.

This "accolade" means next to nothing though, because not many of the country's best wingers are in great form provincially, while two of those that are (Zebo and TOH) are playing at fullback. Ulster are in atrocious form, Connacht aren't much better and Leinster are shrekt with injuries in that position.
>>

>too many games

Rugby calendar would be boring as fuck without Lions. Six Nations on its own with a World Cup every four years would get boring. In soccer, they've got a major tournament every two years.

Also, having lads gone with the Lions gives a chance to cap young players that summer. Wolfhounds and Emerging Ireland are frankly worthless.
>>
>>73971742
>I'd say Adam Byrne
Then you're a retard and I'm a Leinster fan, even O Loughlin has been better than him

Zebo has been playing fullback, therefore he's not the form winger

O Halloran was always earmarked as a fullback and has been the starting fullback for nearly a year now, he's not primarily a winger

Quick rundown for outsiders

>Leinster
Posh province. 90% of the team went to private schools and come from very wealthy families. The occassional Sean O'Brien or Tadhg Furlong is thrown in. Fanbase is among the quietest known to man.

>Ulster
Proddy province. Strange place to go to games. Everyone seems like a personality free robot, kind of like Rory McIlroy (possibly caused by collective PTSD from the Troubles). Also Tommy Bowe plays for them.

>Munster
Pashun province. Cancerous fair weather fanbase obsessed with memes about pride and loyalty. They beat the All Blacks once, in front of a crowd of over 100,000 people. Only province where the game is played by working class people.

>Connacht
Piss up province. Less than half of the team is from Connacht, the rest being rejects from the other provinces. Team acts like it's still the amateur era and gets absolutely paralletic drunk every weekend. Have approximately 100 fans that didn't hop on the bandwagon in the past year.

This meme has to stop. During the 70's and early 80's, the English teams utterly annihilated all opposition in Europe with full-English-no-foreigner teams, and yet their NT was just as bad, if not worse, than it is today, not even qualifying for several consecutive tournament in a world with less countries and much less high quality players.

On the other hand NBA and NHL completely dominate their sports with an insane financial dominance, throwing 5 years-180 millions $ contracts at players, full of foreigners, and it doesn't prevent the USA and Canada to dominate these sports. Same can be said in handball as an example, where France Germany and Spain being the 3 best leagues and dominating countries either way.

No, rates are differ st to land tax, rates pay for council infrastructure and are pid to the council. There's also Capital gains tax that you pay on the difference between value at the time of purchase versus sale, once again exempted if it is a PPR. do you guys seriously not have land tax there?

>Glasgow Warriors hooker Fraser Brown says he's "disappointed" by Munster centre Keith Earls' claims he milked a dangerous tackle during their European Champions Cup clash in October.

>Earls was sent-off and suspended for two weeks after upending Brown.

>He told Irish media last month he felt the Scotland hooker "could have done more to protect himself" - a remark Brown finds disrespectful.

>"As professional players we've got a duty of care for each other," he said.

he was part of the side that beat australia recently
>>
>>73984017
Don't care what Munster do since I don't support them but that is idiotic from Laidlaw. Chap is meant to be Scottish captain and Murray has just used the media to communicate to refs possible foul play and Laidlaw like a complete spacker comes out and says yeah we'll do that.

Can guarantee the officials will be on the look out for it and Murray will milk any hits off the ball.
>>
>>73984046
He's clearly confident that the players targeting Murray are doing it in a legal way (protip: They are). Could argue refs will be watching for Murray milking it, which he would do regardless.
>>
>>73984062
>protip: They are
nah

you mean deluded like all scots this time of year
>>
>>73984068
Nobody was sinbinned or cited for their conduct towards Murray during that game. Stander admits that it was the fault of the Munster pack for leaving him wide open.

>le delusion xDD
What happened to you to make you so obsessed with Scotland? Getting a bit creepy desu
>>
>>73984046
All Laidlaw said was that what Glasgow did was within the laws of the game and that he's not getting a free ride at Murrayfield.

It's conservation of ninjutsu. When there are two shitters in the comp they need to share their power between the two of them, but if there is only one it gets all the power.

If Italy left the 6N Scotland would win.
