I figured I'd come here because I feel like this would pertain many interested in Science and Math.

Anyways, My dad and I have a CNC mill in our basement which we use for our business and his work. I came up with this idea; why don't we use the CNC to craft custom designs that people need for their projects but cannot do because of the extensive costs of buying a durable CNC mill. Essentially make a business out of our CNC.

My question to you is, do you people think I have a market for this. Along with yourself, is there anyone who would need a quick, relatively low cost solution to custom design production?

Sorry but I cannot accept your business.

Then your business is shit. I just had 1000 of those things made in china for that price.

What an incredibly original idea. Surely you are going to usher in a new age of democratized manufacturing.

How many layers of turbines are you on?

This is already a super saturated market. Without at least tens of millions of dollars in capital, there's no way you'd compete. You can run a "business" if you want where you just take on some basic projects for a few locals, friends and family, etc., but the custom design CNC drafting market is covered. You need a wakeup call. Go watch some Peter Thiel speeches and read Zero to One.
