Good evening everyone, just woke up. How are we all?

I'm a little tired of my days ending without me having accomplished anything at all, so today I'm setting myself a singular, definite goal: watch one episode of anime. I think it will be Serial Experiments Lain, I've wanted to watch that for some time now. I hope I will be able to accomplish this goal. Most days time flies by so quickly that 12 hours feels like 2, and before I know it I'm back in bed going to sleep again.

For a few years now I've considered myself relatively atheistic. Your question actually sent me on a half hour-long google journey. Because ultimately I do believe enjoying our existence is the only thing we really need to concern ourselves with.

I met Ebin. It didn't turn out like I hoped but we still had a good time.

He was very nervous and seemed very excited. He was short. He look a bit like a young Bob Dylan.

We met in North Street car park, had a few minutes of small talk, and then went into the Casino. I noticed he was sweating and shaking.

He's a nice guy but to be honest I was already disappointed. I'm used to throwing 50 pound notes around like it's nothing - I like to really rake big risks. But now Ebin expected me to guide him through his first casino trip. But I didn't want to guy to drive for nothing.

I handed the croupier a 50 pound note. Ebin stared right at it. Then the croupier turned around, got two 25 pound chips and passed them to me. He said "I'm sorry, I'm not into this. I thought I would be but I'm not"

I told him it was completely cool. Actually I was a bit relieved.

We went back outside and sat down. He told me "Once I saw such massive sums of money, I knew I had made a mistake"

Totally cool with that, won't have been the first or last time that I've had some casual scratchcard punter back out. Sometimes it's the large banknotes that hit them. Obviously I'm not loaded, but that 50 pound note you see so frequently in a casino isn't something you see in daily life.

To his credit, he was going to buy a few 50 pence chips, so that I hasn't wasted a 200 mile trip to Scarborough. But I declined, and suggested that we go to the co-op instead. I bought a Rubik's scratchcard, he bought one of the 5 pound ones. I don't usually buy scratchcards but under the circumstances I thought it might lighten the mood.

We had some good banter about the thread (talking about how fat saku is) and then he went home.

All in all, it wasn't a bad meeting. Ebin got to find out something about himself, and I got to meet and interesting guy from the thread.

Ebin has left now to go home, I'm in my car just about to drive up to Bridlington, hoping to win a few quid!

The now and the future is important, however of course thats not to say we shouldn't question the history of the world and the universe and continue expanding our understanding of it all, infact this has shown itself to be beneficial to the now and future of our species.
I don't think we will ever come to a conclusion as to where we came and whether or not anything came before that and how - honestly it seems a little out of our comprehension, like trying to visualise what a 4 Dimensional universe would look like.

It is and it isn't, it's a system where you pay a certain % of your pay once you're earning a certain amount. It sort of works like tax, you have x amount and then anything you earn past that is then taken from.
Make sure you don't choose a meme degree though and ensure it will actually open doors.

Sounds like you've got it worked out qt waifu lad. 25 pw for food is solid, like you said you won't need tha tmuch on toiletries and you might lose some money during freshers but you don't sound like the party type so you'll have a bunch saved up
