>No music
>I either take to the track at my local high school down the block or at a park and the adjacent roads not too far away, either
>Did Muay Thai, so running helped. But I'm shipping out for basic training soon, and it's imperative that I run more.

5k
3-4 days a week
Happy hardcore techno. It's the only music that keeps me motivated.
Mostly roads.
So I don't get too fat. And I hate the gym and the entire culture surrounding it.

I ran my first half marathon in may. Felt good to accomplish something.
>>
>>38860193
nigga stop thinking about excuses to be lazy, fat and weak, just get up and start running nigga
>>
>>38860256
>Felt good to accomplish something.
this, feels awesome saying "i ran 5km/6km/7km/more in a certain amount of time"

i can run 5km in 34minutes, thats my best time
>>
>>38860193
Only if you don't run properly. Most people strike the ground with their heel which jars your knees.
If you have proper running form (striking in the mid-fore foot) you can run a lot longer without risking injury
>>
3k once or twice a week.
Listen to techno which helps keeping up the pace.
At the gym.
My cardio is lagging.

I could probably do a lot more if I wanted, but it will revert me to my skelly physique so i try to increase speed rather than distance.
>>
>>38860102
For the most part, but it's dependent on a TS/SCI. Haven't done anything egregiously wrong -- not even a single drug or even gotten so much as a parking ticket -- but I have bailed out on a few jobs that I listed on the SF-86 anyway. Not too worried, though.

For the last three months, I've been doing some lifting but mostly running, bodyweight exercises, and Muay Thai. Even did my first 5K a few months back, so things are on the right track.
>>
>>38860364
>techno
>at the gym
wtf are you doing here you fucking /fit/ normalfag?
>>
Does biking translate to anything other than cardio for running? I bike often but don't run because of the knees thing.
>>
>>38859795
Does using a stationary bike for 40 mins (20mph) a day count?
I went down from 270lbs to 240lbs in about 2 1/2 months. I plan to be below 200lbs by november
>>
>>38860300
I don't ge tit how do you do that
>>
>>38860393
Im not /fit/ and im not a normalfag.
I listen to my own tracklists with hard techno and not the faggy dance music played in the gym.
Im still dyel mode and trying to do weights so i stop looking like a pathetic nothing.
Running at the gym is simply more convenient than doing it separately and having to dodge normies on the street.
>>
>>38860530
Running is a lot harder than biking.

I did track 7th-12th grade and became the captain my senior year. 100m, 200m, 100m hurdles, and the long jump for a few years until it made me sprain my ankle.

For the team photo they had a special one of just the coaches, manager, and captains. Sadly I had a terrible camel toe and ruined the picture for everyone and anyone who already ordered the picture. I have the print of it in my photo album and it makes me cringe.
>>
>>38860577
Lean forward when you run, make a conscious effort to not hit your heel on the ground. But don't overdo it and end up landing on the ball of your foot.... unless you want to sprint
>>
>>38860747
this is all too confusing for me

why is running so hard

It's pretty much the thing your body was designed to do (run long distances)

Watch a running tutorial on YouTube. It's not hard
>>
3-8 miles every weekday, 8-12 every saturday, 1 or 2 speed workouts a week
music is for turbo normies
trails and roads are both fine
