I've been listening to this in the car because the new series of Twin Peaks has been filling me with hype after every episode.

The Residents did a really strange album that consisted of recreations of Eskimo life. At one point,a woman is doing some domestic chore chanting to herself in the perpetual night that is Alaskan winter. Apparently the constant darkness makes one spacey,so she soon drifts off into audio hallucinations until her friends recall her with a counterchant,and she ends up as she was,working away. Strange but interesting.
