Well it was basically a top down pixel RPG, but with extremely complex and realistic melee fighting system; you have to be on guard, parry, riposte, etc. Visual style similar to hyper light drifter but set in a world ive been modelling over the last year as a means of relaxation from my social anxiety and passing the time as a student with like 3 friends

If you want to try go it on your own I suggest you start small, but you don't have to abandon the style - if anything it could be something that defines your work, like the guys who made Battleblock Theater, Castle Crashers etc - you can tell who they are right of the bat.
