I haven't had a proper conversation with my parents or my older brother in years.
Most of the time, it's petty small talk.
Normally, my parents don't call for me unless they're telling me I need to be responsible for something like feeding the dog while they're away or accepting a package thats coming while they're at work.


I spend the majority of time in silence. Sometimes my dad will say hi to me when I come downstairs to get food or a drink.

Otherwise, the only communication we have is their bi-monthly attempt to ask "What's the plan for your future, anon?"

I still have no idea how to respond, so I just shrug it off and go back to my bedroom.

That was going to be my next piece of advice, go to the range and fingerfuck all the medium to full size guns you can and choose the one that fits you best in your price range. You can get pretty much any decent striker fired, polymer framed handgun out there, you can also get a few metal framed ones (more mass will cut down on recoil a bit).

Well that's basically all I do, going from neurologist to orthopedic to acupuncturist to psychiatrist to voodoo priest hoping one of them has any new ideas.

Of course we have issues, but I recently moved away and I'm beginning to realise how much I miss them. I'm living with my cousins right now and they're alright, but it's just not the same. I can't really be open with them like I can with people I have lived with my entire life.

I help my dad's side's grandma and grandpa with food bank work and live with my dad and stepmom. The last I saw my mom's side was last week at my grandma's funeral. My mother already passed away so I'm more or less an odd duck among them. Grandma funded my associate's in accounting and I feel completely inadequate because I have no job and no social life whatsoever. I left after the ceremony was over and exchanged multiple awkward visits because I have nothing to talk about life-wise, in addition to lacking in-context questions that could encourage others to talk about theirs. I've been told I'm quiet and well-mannered, but that funeral reminded me that I seem to lack something when I interact with my mom's family and others in general.

I don't want to message them at 10:30pm and saying those things is incredibly awkward when I'm the weakest link among my peers in the family. I don't even know if inviting mom's side to my graduation would be appropriate so soon after nan's death.

My brother is going to join me for movies! I knew he was coming around! It's mostly because once I fall asleep it's basically a timer for a CVS episode. I had a stressful day, a migraine for about an hour earlier, and now I can't sleep. It's textbook.
