2006.
Not because the years were necessarily good, because they weren't. I was 12, abused emotionally, mentally, and at one point sexually (which I've never told a friend or relative about).
I just liked the overall feel. Movies were pretty good that year, and so were video games.
I started exploring different types of music. I discovered bands like Korn that functioned as a good emotional outlet for when bullies or family abused me.
I started seeing through things more clearly. The lies my family had indoctrinated me with began to fall apart, the unreliable and borderline manipulative nature of my "friends" became more apparent to me, etc.
It really was the year that I began to fully develop as a person. And it led to many different paths in my life. Some good, some awful.
I know for certain that 2006 was the year that shaped my personality.

Before January 2017 I was stuck in 2012.
I'm 20 now and felt like I was 16 until around March 2016.

Can it effectively play porn?
2006-2007 were some good times. Worked as an outsource PHP code monkey, earned decent amount of money for little to no work, hung out with friends a lot, ran an IRC server, made lots of friendships that way... mentally vulnerable internet chicks with daddy issues. Building my own PC, saving up to buy a graphics card for the gaymes. Good times. I still keep a VM copy of my then machine. It's like my little personal time machine. I boot it up and have my time remembering the past. I member
2013. It was the greatest year of my life. Finally made friends. Lost my virginity. Had lots of fun harassing roasties on r9k. Music and video games were still realy fun.

2006-2007
I still play my old PS2
This threads very nice.
I feel like my mental state is stuck in 2012.
That's when I was the happiest in my life and also the year my father killed himself.
I am a manchild who is uncomfortable moving on beyond 2012 and I feel like my life is over.

Fuck that fisher price shit and fuck vista as well. Fuck that new touchpad shite I'm still on windows 7. I didn't like it at first because I had gone from XP but I like it.
It's about 2005 and I'm going to spend a comfy summer on IRC and playing UT2k4.
2012. I miss having friends. Now I'm always alone and have to deal with shitty acquaintances
33 oldfag here.
Pop culture wise, I'm definitely fond of pretending it's still the late 90's/early 00's. I watch older stuff like Star Trek TNG, Firefly, Twin Peaks, and Buffy to wind down at night. I only see a couple new movies a year.
2010/age 26 was a good year for me. My depression suddenly disappeared, I got more organized, and made some new friends who got me into camping/hiking.
I'm fond of Windows 7 and see no reason to "upgrade".
2005-2006
still playing flash games, online game that played when i was early teen and listening some of hard trance and nightcore

I haven't had a "year" since 2014, but I've been nostalgic for 2011-2014 lately.
