How do I live the NEET dream? How they do it?

I taught myself programming and now I'm making $20k USD per year off my own software. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but consider:
>No housing costs, because I live with my parents
>No transportation costs, no car costs, no insurance, no maintenance, no gasoline, because I'm a pathetic loser who doesn't go anywhere
>No commute
>No boss
>Can wake up anytime I want
>Mom makes tendies for me so no food cost either
>Income potential is unlimited if I invent more/better products and services
Now understandably one could make far more with a real computer science degree in a respectable job with a real company. That's all well and good, but then one would have to become a full on normie, and it's just not worth the hassle, especially when m'ladies don't want anything to do with me anyway since I'm not 7 feet tall GigaChad. So fuck it, I say this is a good option for robots.

They worked toward developing skills that enabled them to work independently and networked with others who've done the same.

I took courses online on a couple of paid sites that were free through my local library system. Then I made a bunch of shitty apps and slapped them online. Eventually my apps got less shitty, and one took off, and now it's doing okay and has potential.
If I had to do it over again I would recommend this:
>Develop for iOS first, macfags have more money
>Games make the most money
>Monetize apps from the beginning, that means ads and IAPs
>If you really focus and don't fuck around it should take you less than a year to git gud
Aside from money, programming is rewarding in and of itself. It saves time and effort, lets you automate boring stuff, and provides a dopamine hit similar to masturbating or smoking cigarettes.

I'm in a similar situation, except I make games for people rather than selling my own stuff. I make a bit less money and have to pay rent to my parents but other than that it's the same. The best thing about it is that after a few months of work you have an actual tangible product of your efforts that you can be proud of, instead of all of your time disappearing into a void like with normie jobs. Programming from home is the ultimate robot job.

Patreon was a mistake, you have to pay to be internet friends with someone

in what language? Do you do freelance or? any tips for other programmers?

Self-employment is still employment, retards. That means you aren't NEET. Also, Plague is a great artist and animator too. Find someone more deserving to shit on.

I have 601 watchers for my porn art on DA. I've thought about doing patreon but some months I can't be bothered making something to show people.
Besides I'd probably only get beer and cigarette money.
