Ok, I'm not in Argentina and I haven't read the legislation, perhaps I'm wrong on this, but there are multiple sources online referring to this. Argentina now has a class of crime called "femicide" for example, they are literally setting up a dual system of law where killing a woman means harsher punishment, and this is believable to me because I live and work in Australia where they do the exact same thing. There are laws and defences that women can use that men can not. The police in all states, the federal police, all arms of the military, the parliament itself, prime minister and governor-general all openly promote something called white ribbon where they repeat phrases like "violence against women and girls is never acceptable", this is the POLICE and GOVERNMENT saying this, openly. Is it such a jump to believing that Argentina would do this?

It's a lot of talk. I had the police called on me quite a lot as a child because I was an only child of a single mother who liked to make stories up when she got shit faced every night. Only once did the police not listen to me. The worst that ever happened was I was transported to my grandmother's house in the middle of the night. I believe a lot of what is going on is all talk and not actually what happens in real life. Police aren't dumb here guy. They're pretty alright.

I can't tell you my exact position, but I work within the courts - yes in an admin role, but I also studied law at Melbourne Uni. I've worked directly with many QCs.
Many of us studied law. Having studied law means nothing, because most of the focus never touches on this sort of bias. You have the typical cucked mentality of thinking that having some sort of abstract or academic knowledge gives you a better ability to comment than someone who is directly involved in how the law is enforced.

Nothing as clear as that. Haven't you heard of "Infanticide" and "battered woman's syndrome" as defences? What about Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy? These are a handful of regularly used defences (yes, they are regularly used) that are specific for women only. Only women can use that, and these are just the 'official' and established defences, they should be seen as an indicator of how things are run. Human nature and human bias have vastly more influence on how law is enforced than on the actual letter of the law.

The point I'm making is that you're over-confident about what you think you know about the world, you use the fact that you've studied law for 3 years to act as if you have more authority on the subject than me, when I'm elaborating upon specific facts that anyone can check. Plenty of people study law and just decide that becoming a solicitor or barrister isn't for them, doesn't mean there isn't a huge demand for law elsewhere.
