What do you do to deal with your disabilities of any kind (physical/mental)?

>Kyphosis
>Keratoconus
>might have depression, AvPD or Aspergers.
>right leg is slightly shorter than my left.
>Permanent bump on the back of my head from when I smacked my head on the pavement as a kid in 2003

The only thing that honestly concerns me is my back and that's because I feel like it's getting worse trying to stand straight.

I exercise to deal with these issues. You?

There is a thread where anons are already discussing these kinds of issues

>>35437663

I have chronic whiplash, IBS, psoriasis, sleep apnea, tinnitus, and recently either pulled a muscle in my chest or fractured a rib from coughing.

What I do to deal with them is try to practice mindfulness and focus on what is in the present and what I can do about it. I try to distract myself by making posts on this site and having conversations with friends and family. I try to keep my mind as sharp as possible. That's my last holdout.

I am sorry for your physical troubles. That's good that you turn to family and friends. A good social life is therapeutic.

Autism Spectrum Disorder

I manage it. People can't tell that I have it. Hell it took my own psychologist a while to diagnose it.
>>
>Swayback
Chiropractor pointed it out when I went to him for some unrelated injury. Made me realize why people told me I walk funny and how I stumble so often and low back gets sore from sitting. So basically I've been going around all day "core bracing" like I'm trying to show off my abs. This makes my upper back sore but at the same time it feels like I'm training myself to stand walk and sit straight and undoing a decade of muscle dysfunction caused by leaning back without realizing it

>"Autism spectrum disorder"
I've come to accept it and not care what people think. What feels weird even to me is while shy people have social phobia, I can go anywhere and make eye contact with people and make words come out of my mouth clearly, but it comes out deadpan and robotic, and people think I'm being condescending because I don't show emotion towards them. I feel the normal range of emotion but I don't know how to emote towards other people or control my facial expressions, and my face reflects whatever I'm thinking or feeling internally, and when people stare at me smiling it usually reflects my own discomfort/confusion as to why people are looking at me.
>>
>>35440910
Also OP something I do that will probably help you as well is to engage the core, squeeze your butt tight and pull up on the perenium (what they call root lock in yoga) and then just rotate your shoulders, one then the other and repeat for like 5 minutes, forwards and backwards.

If you have health insurance you have zero reason to not seek help for back problems

Bulged disc

Been considering flying to NYC just to get my legs realigned correctly.

If you have Medicaid good luck trying to get any help unless you literally can't walk or are in excruciating pain
>>
Chronic chestpain and I get weird painless muscle twitches throughout the day which kinda freak me 2bh.

I dont have health insurance and I dont feel like going to a free local clinic to get it checked out.
>>
>>35441224
O have medicade and I can't walk with out pain
>>
>>35441248
Well they'll usually make you wait a few weeks if they can't find anything in a rudimentary examination, but I'm sure there are ways you can demand to see a specialist eventually
>>
>>35441269
Yeah I'm only 21 and found that my knees touch each other when I point my feet normal. I was watching videos and found a center in NYC that performs the realignment. I'm hoping they can get me in
>>
>>35441291
Do you have any foot or ankle abnormalities?

What type of shoes do you wear?

Do you or have you used any shoe inserts or orthotic devices?
>>
>>35441224
Medicaid has nothing to do with the quality of your medical treatment. It's the same doctors and facilities.

I have a rotation of the femur and tibia from what my doctor said. It's only gonna get worse and I have a severe out toe that is causing my ankles to collapse but they look fine. It cussing my ankle and knees to hurt after walking for around 15 minutes
>>
>>35441337
Nah, in my experience the only providers are clinics where you wait 2 hours to see a doctor for 5 minutes, or a few private physicians where you'd have to wait months to get an appointment.
>>
>>35441353
Would something like the HyProCure implant be able to help you without needing more invasive surgery?

http://www.hyprocure.com/knee-pain/

I researched this for my own knee pain 3 years ago but was able to recover in a few months by switching to these goofy looking barefoot shoes and then just wearing normal looking shoes with no heel, arch or toe compression
>>
>>35441440
I tried something similar it's actually how I was formed due to be 23 weeks and c section. I'll be dead by next year but I want to be able to walk without pain

You, my friend, have real problems and I am sorry. Being unable to walk without severe knee pain for a few months in 2014 made me appreciate walking and never take it for granted. All these "depression" cucks need to fuck off with their first world problems.

I'd give anything to walk and live. What makes me angry is seeing people squander it and throw whiny depression party
