After some time thinking it over, and a few scuffles with her door, I was able to sit her down and talk last night. I just came out with everything and how I just don't know what I'm doing when it came to taking the next step since I am a "bonehead virgin". The funny thing is that she didn't think I was a virgin. I'm not sure about how others handle the transition to a more physical relationship, but I guess the whole being related part doesn't help make it any easier. Talked to Em about the thing, apparently she already wanted to check it out and asked some friends to come too. I don't think I have anything to worry about now, I'll just tell H I'm going with my sister, worst case scenario is we're there at the same time and Em gets to re-meet H under more normal circumstances. I vaguely mentioned some of my coworkers are going, so it won't really be a surprise anyway. I can't tell if I'm overthinking or underthinking this.

NCR:. Seen as the good guys by most players. From fallout 1 forward, they have begun reconstruction of society on the bed of a defeated and scorched world. They expand rapidly, and field what is arguably the weakest of the armies, relying instead on sheer numbers.

From a logistical stand point, they are the worst choice. They have no sense of conservation of resources (as indicated by conversations about dried up water beds, farms that perform suboptimal, etc). Of the the four, they are also the worst in reconstruction efforts. One need only look at places like Primm, or Mccarin to see how ineffective they are. They are also the least secure of the 4. Need I explain it??

What do they bring? Well...Semi improved trade (if it's not looted first), and potential improvement in health services that's to the FoA.

So yes man is dependant largely on the courier. It's hard to pin an exact ending due to this. But what we can determine is this:. Thanks to a reactivated droid army, the area with be patrolled better and secured, as far out as the transmitter will permit. Cities like Primm and Freeside will continue with a basic status quo as a result. What the families will do without house is questionable, but I'm willing to bet they'd destroy each other via infighting till 1 existed or would come to mutual business arrangements for business purposes.

Second worst, but could be best, depending on courier choices, and unforseen variables

Yea I realized they were shit after 4 years of playing the game, but I was like 12 or 13 when it came out so I took the NCR at face value, but as I got a little older it became apparent how shit they were, and as much as I hate to admit it, how shit the brotherhood is
The Legion is probably the best, even Cass admits that they're better to trade with because no one fucks with them
Plus, being an asshole is fun, I like their "no nonsense" attitude
I guess the fun part is that there's no right answer
Also, can we talk about how good the expansions were? Take any of them alone and it's better than Fallout 4, I have it one playthrough, tried to start another one and got bored, guess it says something about Bethesda

Sister is off to bed and I'm free to have some more 'me' time, so I figure I could drop an update.

She was in pretty high spirits when she got home, but other then that it was the usual conversation about our days and our usual shit talking each other.
We were both too lazy to cook so I order some wings for us both. We ended up spending the night eating wings and watching some movies.

I made her watch 'Event Horizon', which freaked her the fuck out. She was mad at me about that, and I wouldn't stop making fun of her for being such a baby.
I guess it was her version of revenge, but she made me watch a couple episodes of that 'series of unfortunate events' series on nexflix. Something about it makes me hate it, but I can't put my finger on what.

After the second episode she went up to get us both something to drink and on her way back to the couch leaned over me and gave me a deep kiss. Then after a couple of seconds (honestly felt a fuck ton longer) she said in her cheeky tone 'I didn't realize I could make you blush like that'. I was caught of guard and it took me a minute to rely 'you're one to talk', which made a stupid smug look cross her face before she sat back down and snuggled deep into my side.

Honestly though, I'm not easy an easy person throw off balance, I don't know how the fuck she does it. But that kiss made my head spin and my heart jump a little.

Next, legion. Before I start this, allow me to first say: I will not argue morality on this. The new Mojave is brutal. Caesar is moreso. Let's leave it at that.

But let's see what he does provide. First: arguably the best security of the 4. His troops do not fuck around. And if people say his citizens are oppressed, this is flatly untrue. Through the game, you speak to several travelling vendors that speak of conditions in the legion controlled lands. Every single time, safety is the first thing they quote. This is important, because the next thing they say is the can sell alcohol and other items to CITIZENS. Caesars army is off limits, but the average Joe, who plays nice, has safety and general comfort.

Next, we know they have farms and sustainable water. Again spoken of By merchants. So let's be clear: food, water, safety, and enough capitalism for traders to profit?

Last, reconstruction. While not on par with old world, we see numerous construction projects around the Mojave (albeit crude). So Caesar provides a pretty good damn quality of life, no?

Here's why he's number 2 and not 1. When he dies, his successor may or may not maintain this empire. With Vegas as a seat, it's more likely that it will last. But it's questionable. So rank 2

Last house.

So let's predicate this with history. He's one of the few fuckers left from prewar. He's a mechanical genius, the likes of which simply doesn't exist anymore. He's also a successful business man. He knows how to make a successful supply chain that can produce results.

K, so let's start. Food and water are on check. The area around the strip are ripe for useage, and are currently fallow thanks to the NCR. Power is also easy. All of the strip runs off of 5 percent of hoover damn, which is only running at 50 percent. Just imagine what can be done with 100!

Next, reconstruction. You need only look at the strip to get an idea what can be done. Fire pit signs, sturdy buildings with structural reinforced panels. Once the quarry is cleared, concrete can flow and properly built places can return.

Next, safety. House is building an empire on commerce. It stands to reason that his army won't just keep invaders out, but will protect caravans coming in. Raiders are bad for business after all.

Last, future. He's pretty much immortal. He has the knowledge, and capabilities to rebuild humanity as he tells you in his speech. Hell, the only reason new Vegas even exists in that period is because of him!

So, I'm conclusion: is he a dick? Absolutely. But he's also mankind's best hope, and will make the Mojave prosper. So suck it up, and help the correct faction :)
