Should we remove the robot again

>>34120596
What no, do you want to shitpost that bad
>>34120776
no
originalinoya see my one word answer to this post is a pain in the ass to post, everyone just cheats the robot and posts unoriginal stuff anyway so whats the fuckin point
>>34120819
I propose making the robot smarter and able to detect random shit tagged onto posts to make them original.
But with how "dedicated" the staff of 4chan is (and the difficulty of that to program,) that will probably never happen.
>>34120596
>We should turn this place into /b/ because I can't write a post without typing random bullshit.
No the robot should be stricter.
>>34121041
I agree that it should be stricter
>>34120868
This, there is probably no good approach to making the robot work as it should, so just fuck it in my opinion
>>34121041
Oh yeah, that's a reason I like the robot is that I can have a general discussion board without a bunch of image spamming porn threads. Or if there are any, there's at least some discussion going on.
>>34121041
>>34121055
there is not a robot smart enough on this earth to detect when someone is being serious or just adding extra shitpost for originality
>>34121144
I agree that there is not a robot smart enough
>>34120596
Yes if purely for the comfy and "hmmm" threads
>>34120596
No, but the shitposters will keep posting their "oreganoldjdjs" and mods are too stupid to ban them, we even have the same exact reposts every day so what's the fucking point?
I never knew what's the fucking point of this stupid robot, probably just to annoy you when you write a short sentence. And if someone wants to shitpost you only need to add extra spice and all is cool.
oregano
It's fucking neck and neck
>>34121284
I don't think you get how the robot works, you don't have to add "oregano" to a long sentence
"we"? There is no "we".
>>34121402
It was ironic.
Now unironically orgigabno
>>34121406
No, better yet, let's make a new fucking board.
/r9k/ is dying.
>>>/qa/948744
/r9k/ thread
>>34121369
>>34120868
So what if someone only wants to/needs to respond.
Yes. or no. to a post? Or some other common phrase?
>>34121430
Boards have came and faded into inevitable obscurity. Remember, you're here forever.
>>34121430
The mods don't look at /qa/, let's be honest here.
>>34121491
Hiro posts there and that is our best shot
>>34120819
robot is in our name, our board would be utterly useless without at least the robot attempting to keep things original. I would encourage though enabling the robot for images as well. that way instead of posting le funni reaction image people will put some thought into their posts. it will also force people to keep images original as well, which could birth ebin new meemees
>>34121742
we've removed the robot once already and it was fine though
its very clear the boards culture does not revolve around the robot as intended, it's just a nuisance you have to work around
>>34121756
it wasn't fine, there were loads of normal people flooding in. with the robot at least the first few days were fun but yeah it devolved eventually to what it is now. the problem is people naturally take the path of least resistance. but why give people the satisfaction of getting to shitpost .2 seconds faster?
also r9k does not really have a board culture, when the robot was first put up this board was inhabited by normalfags and women talking about their day, asking questions, and calling each other "gentlemen". r9k was always supposed to be a second, "cleaner" /b/ where people can actually talk to each other about randum xdd things. I guess its just me but i see no reason to change anything on r9k, without a singular topic keeping us grounded (i.e. like /k/-weapons, /sp/-sports,) we've always been bound to evolve constantly.
