I've known about 4chan for a couple years but never really bothered to browse. I've now been on here two weeks and I've found that beneath the rampant pornography and abuse that is inevitable with any anonymous board, there's a profound sense of alliance between everyone.
People everywhere that see themselves as ugly, or failures engage with eachother in sharing their own insecurities and fears while simultaneously helping others in this strange catharsis. I think its really cool that people are doing this.
