The H - Faction project option has been removed. Instead, every faction sets a project for itself that they will be doing throughout a decade. When 290/291 hits, every faction will roll a 1d100 and explain their goal - it can be supported by another faction(which, of course, means you're not doing something of your own).

In ages past men lived simpler lives - they would hunt, farm, fight and always respect the might of the Old Gods. Shamans led the clans with their elemental magic - so it was for many generations, before history was ever written down. The great hero Rog united a dozen human clans into a tribe that would form the foundation of our future Kingdom.One day Rog mysteriously vanished - then came the Great Storm - when it passed, the shamans could no longer feel the presence of the Gods and had lost the source of their magic.
Our civilization would have to progress on its own and so for generations we worked the lands, expanded in numbers and territory. We adopted goblin miners, fought dragons and welcomed a demonic warband. Adventures were had, technology progressed as we explored more and more of the world, largely adopting the faith of the New Gods of the Pantheon.
In the last year and a half a terrible war ravaged the land. Dark elves, dragons, orcs, centaurs, ogres, norsemen and demons sought to bring about the end of the mighty Kingdom of Paitras. Roggar's King and his closest friends were seduced by a dark elf witch into pledging their aid for the Horde. As the Legions of Paitras fought to protect the Duchy of Kulargar from invasions, a civil war raged within Roggar between supporters of Paitras and supporters of the Horde. Battles, betrayals and struggles culminated in the Siege of Nayte, the center of secular science in Roggar and home to our demon community. Outnumbered and outmatched by the enemy, the defenders of Nayte set off a powerful magical explosion that wiped both the city and the attackers off the face of the Earth, leaving only a large crater.
Spring came again and the leaders of Roggar's warring factions came together in the capital, Dragonstomb, to select a new Dragonking.

In the east, the Horde crushed the power of the mighty Paitran Kingdom, which splintered off into multiple smaller states, while the various races of the Horde also took their own paths, some returning to their traditional homelands, others setting themselves up as rulers over the humans.
In the Nayte Crater we accidentally opened a portal to Hell, which we managed to destroy by flooding the crater.
After the Second Horde War the Norsemen were united into an Empire and we've been fighting them ever since - in their last attack they sacked Dragonstomb, our capital, thanks to the might of their Ice Dragons.
We've expanded eastwards into two former provinces of Paitras, but that has led to the remaining Paitran states being suspicious of our intentions.
In Geddunal the Alliance between Pantheon-supporters was reforged. Alliance armies have progressed in the war against the orcs and stand almost at the gates of Dominas.
Most recently, when we sent our armies by sea towards the east, Ice Dragons from the north massacred our forces, including many leaders in our Kingdom at what would be called the Slaughter of the Frozen Shore.

Faction: House of Vasentius.
Fluff: Not many Paitrans remained in the lands of Vaesdeman once the Norsemen came. And they would have probably all died off were not for the coming of the Roggarian forces.
The men loyal to the Vasentius House, more closely releted to the clansmen of the Free Mountains than to the Paitrans at Dominas, are skilled with the horse, the javelin and the sword. They were the last to surrender to the Norse warlords and the first to recieve the Roggarians with open arms.

The Prophet Parvedan's teachings aimed to create a more hierarchal and militaristic Church, in responce to the rise of heathen threats from heretics, barbarians, demons, dragons, dark elves. While he amassed support among much of the populace, the conservative priesthood was still highly skeptical of him even when he was appointed Pontiff of Dragonstomb.
NOTE: In Pantheon-believing society magical training is synonymous with priestly training - all sanctioned users of Pantheon magic have been trained to be priests, though some are allowed to continue in other professions after serving a while at their temple. Every God has their own School of Magic and priests are primarily trained in the use of a single School, aside from which they also learn the various scriptures.

Faction: Duchy of Gobopolis
Originally forming as a mining union of freed ogre slaves the Duchy of Gobopolis is a true rags to riches story. Built by goblins for goblins the duchy stands as a symbol of the Kingdoms of Roggars continued friendship towards all Gobbo-kind. After the Second Horde War and the fall of Patrias the Gobbos have dedicated themselves to the cultivation of the land and furthering of the faith.

Gobopolis has changed many times over the years, that which was started on the wreckage of a Ogre slave camp has evolved into a sprawling metropolis and capital of the Duchy of Gobopolis. A bastion against forces of chaos and destruction the Swift-Hands family has lead the duchy with honour and courage standing against those who would betray the faith and the kingdom. After the Second Horde War and the Rebellion of the Oathsworn which had heavy losses with their allies the demons sacrificing themselves to stall the horde and the courageous Knight of Mor upholding the faith to the last man. In recent the Duchy has withdrawn from courtly life and dedicated themselves to expansion of the Duchy and the construction of a great Temple of Mor to honour all lost in the war.

The Temple of Mor is Gobopolis dominates the sky line of the sprawling city. Financed and designed by Duke Duke Swift-Hands it was envisioned as a tribute to the demons of Nayte, the Knights of Mor and every other soul who fell in the Second Horde War. As one approaches the temple they are greeted by two massive gold statues which guard the door, on the right is a proud Knight of Mor standing tall Sword in hand and on the left a great demon of Nayte stands staff in one hand and book in the other. As you enter you open on a hall of which a great statue of Mor dominates the room judging all who enter.

The Goblins Priests of Mor live in ernest attempt to emulate the Knight of Mor and spread the faith and honor that they once carried themselves with. With this great temple Gobopolis truly stands as a bastion of the faith.

The prisoner convoy was attacked by a group of unknown assailants, after a fight the guards were dealt with and the Inquisitor, along with her prison gang, were freed and have taken up weapons.

They rush towards the docks, but on the way they are stopped by a force of City Guards!

Sinep may not have been the biggest minotaur around, but he was among the fastest. He got close before the Inquisitor thought it possible and with two strikes chopped off her hands. The King dropped his bow, content. Sofia was screaming from the immense pain and the minotaur decided to end it with a clean cut with his axe, lopping off her head.

The fight is over.

While these matters were being handled in Roggar, in the east the Alliance had gathered their forces for an attack to retake Dominas from the orcs...

Small group of Dark Elves led by Jhiilsraa (temporary name).
She is the Dark Elven priestess who was seen few times around the
last king of Paitras just before the Horde invasion. Apparently she tried to warn him about upcoming storm, but did he listen to her or not is unknown. Her betrayal was not forgotten. She and her loyal followers were poisoned, slain or cursed by other priests. For many decades she saw how her loyal followers was poisoned, slain or cursed. Now she decided to seek protection from the last human kingdom.

Age unknown, but probably more than 300 years.

The orcs and demons had put aside their differences and united their forces, while the Paitrans, high elves and dwarves had also gathered a large army. The decisive battleground would be Dominas itself.
It was late autumn of 289 and the snow had begun to fall gently.
Duke Oulimnas II of Ezgielath was the leader of the human forces, the heirs of Paitras. Their forces took the center, the elves and Freelanders took the left while dwarves were on the right.
Against them was arrayed the hastily put-together force of a new Horde - orcs, demons, dark elves, one Flame and one Dark Dragon.
The battle lasted days of initial skirmishing and maneuvering, in which their superior mobility gave the Alliance the edge. On the fourth day the clash truly began.

Duke Oulimnas led a valiant defence of the center as the right flank was positioned to be an anvil to the left flank's hammer. The plan almost failed - the massive Dark Dragon, the ancient being known as Tamnokvar, led an assault of heavy demon infantry and mages on the center. Duke Oulimnas was slain by a demonic commander, and at a moment all seemed lost.
The Duke's son, the Centurion Verigal, took up his father's sword at that crucial moment. He was like a man posessed, for his blade struck hard and fast, cutting appart demons, orcs and dark elves. Confronted by Tamnokvar, an epic duel ensued in which the young Paitran warrior claimed victory and the Dragon's head. A rousing cheer among the ranks of the Alliance was followed by an inspired charge, routing the enemy. With their powerful cavalry, the Alliance pursued the enemy until total destruction.
Dominas was retaken, but that was not the end - Verigal led the army forward, retaking Resotas, Traegar and Midenath, not stopping until the last orc and demon were killed or enslaved.

The victorious Alliance has crushed both the orcs and demons and reclaimed most of what was formerly Paitras. The Principality of Archeport,County of Sekalath, the Disputed Lands and the Protectorate of Dorseel have all bent the knee and pledged to rejoin Paitras.
The Freelanders in the west have pledged to stay faithful members of the Alliance, but it is not absolutely certain if Hikalith and Ravlegith will join the reformed Kingdom.
The clouds are cleared as the light of the Pantheon once more shines upon The East.

Our envoys have arrived in Dominas.
The city is still being restored, but the inner city has been mostly finished, along with its walls.

There, at the Grand Temple of Dominas, a new High Pontiffex has taken the position.

At the Grand Temple Verigal has been crowned the King of a reborn Paitras. It includes all the Paitran states, but the Freelanders so far haven't joined.
The new Kingdom is smaller in territory than ours, but roughly equal in population, though they are over 90% human(without counting slaves taken in the last war) while with us it's in the 70's.

The High Elves have put their full support towards the development of Paitras, while the Dwarven Kingdom has expressed its desire to continue working with the Alliance.

The guests feasted and were taken good care of, watching a play in a recently rebuilt amphitheatre, telling an old story about the formation of Paitras 270 years ago.

A - Food Production

The truth is that in recent years we've focused our development on towns and cities too much, while neglecting our agricultural situation. Some towns have actually goten overpopulated, with the peasants dreaming of the rich city life, but the reality is harsh and that's only left a majority of recent urbanites with unemployment and squalor.
We've pursued a policy of returning unemployed peasants to rural areas. To ensure more opportunity for development there, we've had to clear more forests, swamplands, develop irrigation and so on for the developing farming regions. As a major effort, this has taken us some time, but it yields good results. As our own economy is doing somewhat better, international trade is also stabilising with Paitras reborn and links to the east reestablished.

Well, we've learned how to make and use these "Stirrups" that the high elves developed. They're pretty useful, yeah. It'll take more effort to make our cavalry closer to what the elves can field, of course, but for now we've unlocked the possibility.
We've also worked on our siege weaponry, building ballistae of various sizes - some can be mounted on ships, others can be used in battle or sieges. We've improved our catapults, a band of crazy goblins even came up with the idea of launching nets from catapults to ensnare enemies.

We've been doing well in our construction efforts and the economy's also in good shape - so far so good.
It seems the norsemen have taken care of whatever internal problems they had and have resumed raiding on our coasts though, attacking several small and undefended coastal settlements.

In other news, minotaurs and centaurs from the south invaded the Duchy of the Free Mountains, sacking the city of Hikalith and smashing the local armies. Paitras has already sent its own Legions to help.

The initial reports were completely wrong, but we found that out too late - the scouts had at last returned...or at least their horses. By the time the commanders had gotten together to discuss their next plan, horns were heard as alarms were sounded - our own camp is under attack...by a larger force!

Aside from the minotaurs and centaurs there's also some ogres and orcs.

Our camp isn't too well fortified and we haven't prepared for this attack!

The enemy has gotten in close range with their orcs, ogres and minotaurs, while the centaurs circle around our camp, shoot their bows and make the occassional attack before pulling back. Their coordination is surprisingly good and the Freelander Corps is taking heavy losses.

We successfuly fell back to Ezpozeith's walls with the surviving 7500 troops. We held the town for two weeks against enemy attacks when the Paitran legions came in from the east. We sallied out and decimated those left inbetween, taking revenge for our humiliating earlier defeat.


Soon afterwards Hikalith was liberated, the minotaurs and centaurs have been driven to the south where they came from.

We gained some experience and glory overall and helped our neighbours protect themselves against barbaric invaders.
