In the last thread, we chose to attack Darkskin and Sandpeople cities, the first one we encounter holds about 2 million guards, and another 10 million people roused from the surrounding caves.

So we use the two armies on the flank to attack the one army they have on each flank, we do that on both sides. While we are doing that have the main to armies engage their main two armies, but only to keep them in place so that they don't reinforce the armies on the flank. After we destroy the flanks we attack the army in the town whit the 4 armies that attacked the flanks. After we finish of that army we turn around and fully engage their last remaining two armies from both sides. I made a crude ilustration of the plan

Hmmm, adding more depth too it would be nice. Like getting to know what certain groups of army did and all that, like making a description of what happened a bit detailed. The system is good mechanics wise but its lacking in depth for the story. maybe if we have an awesome battle a Hero rises from it and we can elect him the next time and all that. It would make the battles a bit slower, but now its not too much of a problem. Maybe just write when there is an huge diffrence in the results? You can try that out. To give something to compare,when you do a siege you usually give us an report of how many peple died and from what regiments, well just expand on that some more.

Well the battle system is really up to the rolls so it doesn't matter how much a good plan we have it just depends on the rolls.

So I think the plan should have more weight and maybe there is a bottom floor. Like if our position and our plan are great, the lowest thing will be 30/100 so if we lower than 30 we get up to 30.

We are unable to force a surrender on the enemy! After long heated talks, both our general, and the enemy's general could not agree on any sort of surrender. It seems as though the enemy's forces are more zealous than we though.

The Gas massive area on the other hand, does manage to affect some 200,000 enemy soldiers, however it blocks the entire enemy's right flank.

Now I want 6v4 ranged attack rolls.

In a spectacular barrage of our artillery, we manage to kill off 585,000 enemy soldiers. The barrage lasted approximately 3 hours, and in that time, we fired off a very large amount of shells. Due to our flanks being dug in, we take reduced damage on them. They however, retaliate, almost an hour after our last barrage, however they are able to fire off a relatively large amount of shells in only 3 hours as well. They manage to kill off only 510,000 of our soldiers, most of them on our Center.

In a very interesting first wave, our cavalry charges forth! They manage to kill off an initial 105,000 enemy soldiers in their great charge, however they take heavy casualties, and promptly disengage, however our musketmen, working in squadrons are able to take out another 200,000 enemy soldiers with the aid of our artillery which is stationed on the flanks. Speaking of heavy casualties, the enemy manages to kill off almost 400,000 of our cavalry, and 190,000 of our musketmen. The heavy casualties likely came from the fact that many of our cavalry were caught on the bayonets of our enemy's rifles.

We kill off another 460,000 enemy soldiers, however they only kill off 320,000 of our Musketmen. Several Regiments of Riflemen were obliterated when they got a little too close to enemy lines, however our artillery made short work of those that chose to get a little too close to our now destroyed Riflemen regiments. Our cavalry charges up for a second charge wanting to redeem themselves.

Well actually my specific calculations basically allow us a max amount of people killed (by us) to be 2 million, whereas for them its only 1 million. Therefore we have FAR higher killing potential. Were the numbers to be even, we'd only be killing half as much as now.

We kill off 280,000 enemy soldiers, however they kill off 515,000 of our soldiers. Our cavalry charge has once again, failed, and our cavalry has sustained heavy losses on our enemy's Bayonets and artillery. On the bright side however, our marksmen squadrons and Riflemen Batallions are able to pick off many enemy soldiers.
